I gave them 3 star. Although their service was really good. I asked if their mechanics changing my oil would check my tires because my tire light kept coming on. I was told that they did and everything was fine. 15 miles later down the road my tire light came on again. I checked my tires and found my front passenger tire was 10 psi lower than it should have been. Since blowing it up I have had no trouble with it

This place is busy. I guess too busy for great customer service. The regular aspects of the service were good, I got my oil change and the free inspection and had great coffee in the customer lounge. However, they didn’t share anything about the results of what took place with my car. I had to go back after I almost drove off to get said results and according to the white male, who was courteous BTW, who was processing the paper “we were so busy I didn’t even check!” After I came back in he showed me the six recommendations and he had to manually retrieve the cost estimates. It wasn’t pretty, but sufficient for an average rating.

Friendly people.. got a very good deal !! I had a very personable salesman that did his best to satisfy my needs and desires. However, I find their methods antiquated and slow . I was there for more than 4 hours and everything was slow and seemed to take forever. In contrast, I purchased a vehicle for my wife a month ago and from start to finish it only took 2 hours and was smooth , easy and a totally different environment. Both methods work but one was easy and one was not. I prefer easy.

I unexpectedly had to purchase a new vehicle and decided to go with Toyota. I researched every Toyota dealership in the metro area and up to two hours away. Hands down, Toyota of New Orleans had the best prices. This is also one of the few dealerships that includes a lifetime power train warranty on new vehicles. My Sales Specialist, Jermaine, was very responsive prior to me visiting the dealership and also after I made the purchase. I got a RAV4 in the rare color I wanted and am very happy with my purchase. I’m glad I choose Toyota of New Orleans and highly recommend them from a customer service and pricing perspective.

Terrible dealership They Had me drive there 35 miles under false pretenses. Looking for a used car, and I was told a specific car was on the lot ,and was not there when I arrived . They quite naturally tried to place me in another vehicle. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I would have given them Zero stars, but I was not sure it would have posted.

Very upset right now! Brought my car in for service, oil change, tire rotation and multi-inspection check. Had coupon for same. Service rep did return the coupon; however, did not tell me that my car only needed a tire rotation. The bill was $30 for tire rotation, only.!! When asked why the work was not done per coupon, was advised because oil change was not due. Why was I not told this in advance? I would never have paid $30 for a tire rotation. What a ripoff!!!

My husband and I found a car online so we called to make sure the car was still there after all it was a GREAT DEAL. When we arrived the car was still there of course because the price changed. I explained to them i was driving at least 100 miles 1 way. Of course the norm at the dealership is, if we can get them in here then we will sell them something. I wish car dealers would operate on integrity.

Do not spend your hard earned money in this delearship. The used car department is just there to trick you to buy a lemon. They barely are legal. Eddie the co-manager is disrespectful. Condescending and unprofessional. His treatment for customer is unnaceptable. I do not reviews but with the week I've had dealing with them. I had to. My advise is not to buy from them: and if you do. Be ready to be miserable.

My finance spoke with a salesman "Youngblood" about a used car, we get there 2 hours later of course the car was gone. showed us 2 other cars that was in my price range then we went to give our information for financing after that he disappeared for 20 minutes! while we were giving our information he's talking about another coworkers work ethic as if he had any himself. anyway I sat and waited for him to reappear didn't come out then I see he went ran outside on the lot with another customer, didn't acknowledge us at all as if we weren't there nd he wasn't helping us. I waited again he never came back, I watched him walk the lot with the other customer for 20-30 minutes so I went to ask the lady at the desk if someone else could help me , she paged him to the sales floor and told me that's up to him we can't do tht. umm, he never came back. I went up to him and ask him he told me oh I'll put everything in and give you a call. what?? I came to get a car nt be left in the dealership while you go help someone else and not excuse yourself or anything. just because they're buying new and I'm buying used doesn't give you the right to treat me any less than the next person, he could've told them I'm helping this customer give me a few or excuse me let me talk with them real quick. anyway I'll never go here again he made it bad for the company, I will be telling people about this encounter.

Had to drive out on multiple occasions to take a look at cars posted online. Each time, the car was "just sold this morning/etc, can I get you something else?" At first I thought they were purposely lying so I would come in to buy something more expensive; but I realized that even when they sell the car, the online listing stays up for a little while before they take it down (other dealerships I've dealt with, the same has happened.) So just be sure to call ahead the day of to make sure that the car is actually there. Salesman was okay once I found the car I wanted. Financing and auto insurance women were way friendlier/nicer. Salesman just seemed like he wanted to hurry up with the paperwork and get me out of there for the sake of a sale. Would have preferred to deal with this Dennis Sanders I keep reading about. All in all, the experience was pretty decent and I'd recommend others here, but you have to be patient with them.

The objective is to make your customers feel like family so not only they come, but they spread the word about their outstanding service at your facility. Well that was not the case for my husband and I. The guy who waited on my husband was extremely slow, talkative ( about everything under the sun but the car), very forgetful by trying to do too much at the same time and was so in the rush that he didn't walk us through how to operate the vehicle because he left for the day lol while we were sitting in the car trying to figure things out on our own. Simple things that come with the vehicle like the book wasn't in the car and before we could go ask him about a book, he had left for the day, then instead of them just giving me a book to the car, when I went back the next day, I was told there weren't any available but they can order me one at a discounted price!! Money isn't always the key, sometimes just going out your way for people makes them appreciate the experience and wanting to come back and do business with you again, wish I would've researched them before our purchase, but you live and learn!!

My husband and I were looking for a new vehicle that was bigger than the one we currently had. We turned to Toyota of New Orleans because we have previously dealt with them and they were different than the rest of the dealerships. The reason? Because we didn't feel pressure when it was coming to find what WE wanted. Several other dealerships, as soon as we even got out of our car, the salesmen were on us like hawks. Both Anthony and Johnny took the time to understand our needs and we gave them the car we were looking for and from that point forward, the sale was seamless. I would recommend Johnny to friends and family and to anyone that is looking for someone to make your car buying experience just that, an experience and not just a sales pitch. Thanks Johnny! My wife and I recently bought a brand new '15 Toyota Rav4 Limited from Toyota of New Orleans. We dealt with several other dealerships before settling on Toy. of NO. Ultimately, I chose this dealership because the internet salesman, Bobby Carasquillo, met all my requests and negotiated a fair price well before we made our visit to the dealership. He quoted me a sales price, approximate trade-in value, and final tax/tag/title price so I could line up financing in advance. Once we got to the dealership, we were very impressed. Bobby had the car waiting for us. We took a test drive and agreed to the terms of the sale - which did not change from our previous correspondence. No one tried to pull any tricks after we settled on the deal. They worked with our financer, USAA, to help reduce our interest rate. We've had the car for almost two weeks and absolutely love it. We'll definitely use the dealership for service and look forward to doing business with them in the future.

By far, this was these easiest experience my husband and I have ever had buying a car. We were in the market for a pre-owned car for our youngest son and we were also trading in a car. I found some cars on the dealership's website that we were interested in and called to make sure they were still available, Upon arriving at the dealership, we were greeted quickly and met with Bobby Carrasquillo. He showed us two of the cars and got the keys for us. While we test drove one of the cars, he had someone check out our trade. The car was exactly what we were looking for and the right price. They gave us a great price for our trade-in and the whole process took less than 2 hours. We had already been to two other dealerships who did not come close to matching the deal that we were able to get at Toyota of New Orleans or the great service that we received. I highly recommend this dealership and Bobby C.

My husband and I looked at several dealerships before deciding on which vehicle to purchase. This was the second Toyota dealership we visited. We wanted to see the Platinum Series and the other dealership did not have one, didn't answer our questions as to the additional features, or say if they would have one to view in the future. I found online that this dealership had a Platinum and we came out to drive it. Juniece greeted us and was so nice, easy going, knowledgable and professional. She was not pushy but answered all our questions. When we told her what color interior and exterior we desired in a vehicle, she went online and located it. We are very pleased with her exceptional service. Mr. Thompson, Mr. Mejia and Mr. Lawson were all very nice and helpful. The deciding factor to purchase at this dealership was that they are associated with The New Orleans Food Pantry and are Christians giving back to the community. We are very happy customers and will surely refer people to Juniece.

This was the third Toyota dealership I had been to in the area and the one I decided to purchase my Rav4 from. The dealership was clean and lit and inviting. There was NO high pressure negotiation with a salesman taking offers back and forth to a sales manager with whom you first meet with the obligatory pep talk re: why he is refusing your offers and why you need to buy right now!Toyota of New Orleans is a "No Nonsense Dealership"! I simply asked for their best price and received the 2nd most competitive price of the 10 or so dealerships in consideration. A small market, distant, dealership accepted a price which was, at best, $100 more off of MSRP. But that vehicle was more expensive overall due to options which we were not interested in.When we closed the deal with Toyota of New Orleans, it was simply the quoted price plus tax, title,and license fees. Recently I was in the market for a new truck and, after reading all of the positive reviews about Toyota of New Orleans and especially after speaking with Donald Lawson at length, I decided to visit the dealership to see what they had in stock. Donald was prompt for my appointment and treated me with respect. He did not hesitate to show me the figures for the vehicle in which I was interested and he was patient as I went line item by line item comparing my cost figures to his. His total dealer price was close to my figures and the final price quoted was "much better" than what I had received from another dealer just the day before, even though there was an extra cost option included in this vehicle at Toyota of New Orleans. I very much appreciated Donald's frank, upfront yet respectful manner. I also spent some time with Riley Thompson (Sales Manager) discussing certain aspects of this sale. He was knowledgeable and friendly, which has not always been my experience with sales managers at other dealerships. I completed the day's negotiations with Joseph Akkawi (Director of Finance), who appeared to me to be quite competent, knowledgeable. and (unlike some finance folks I have dealt with in the past) very outgoing and friendly. Though I already had an approved loan, he equaled what I had been offered by another bank.Before the day started, my main reason for visiting Toyota of New Orleans was based on other peoples' reviews. Now I can say first-hand that the good reputation enjoyed by Toyota of New Orleans was well earned and I recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a Toyota vehicle.

Johnny told me instead of spending $4000 on a vehicle with a lot of miles, put it as a down payment on something newer. He got me into a 2011 Camry. I have literally purchased 8 vehicles from Toyota of New Orleans. I have bought 2 Tundras, my wife has bought a Rav 4 and traded it dor a Venza, my 3 children have each bought a car and I just recently purchased a Sienna for my company. I am hard to satisfy and the have earned all of my business. I could not imagine purchasing a vehicle anywhere else. I have been treated not as a customer but as family. With every purchase, the sales manager Anthony Legeaux has made my experience a most enjoyable one. Their prices are more than fair and the service after the sale is exemplary. I'm normally in and out in an hour or less for my maintenance. I couldn't dream of buying a car anywhere else. Keep up the great work guys.

I drove 200 miles to buy a used chevy cobalt. I called before i got there to know the condition of car. The salesman told me that there is nothing wrong with the car. But when i got there, i found the car is not driveable. Car had a dead transmission. Will never do business witj them.

I took my vehicle to receive the standard 5/10,000 maintenance check while on my way home from a TAD trip. I parked it in front of the service garage and was told by the service advisor to leave the keys in the car so they can look up the mileage. After the service advisor wrote down the mileage, he left the keys in the car. Then, he told me to go wait in the lounge and when everything was done, he would come and get me. Within ten minutes, my car was stolen because the service advisor left the keys in the car unattended in order to go inside to answer the phone. My car was stolen and it was completely wrecked. The ownership here has refused to take responsibility for it and actually lied, claiming the service advisor told me to take the car keys. The dishonesty at this service department is truly despicable and a slap in the face to the long-time honor and distinguished reputation of Toyota and all the men and women who work hard for Toyota. Mr. Toyoda would be ashamed that such a dealership bears his family name!

I went to Juniece with a manger problem. The engine on my car went out. I heard of her from a friend that said she was a great sales person. The thing is she was right. She did everything to ensure me that she was work to get me in a car. Not any car but one I like. I felt she understood my problem and owned it. Not only did i leave in a car i left with a friend. Ms. Daniels was veery accommodating to my needs. My car had been destroyed by a tree during Hurricane Isaac. I had just paid my car off and could not afford a carnote again. I had my insurance money and I loved my old car. Ms. Daniels found a car similar to the old car. So similiar my friends have named my new car the Gray Ghost because it looks just like the old one. I am confident that I have made a good choice because I believe Toyota has the best cars.

On 9/12/12 I walked into the Toyota New Orleans dealership and met the Toyota family. Everyone was smiling and friendly even at 6:30 in the evening. But the shining star was Juniece Daniels, my salesperson that sold me my 2012 Limited Edition Sports Model Camry. She was personable, professional and a joy to work with, and has the patience of a saint. Although my husband had already made his decision without my being there, she made sure I was comfortable with all the features the car has to offer and understood how to work them. Most times women are at a disadvantage when discussing cars, I'm proud Juniece is a member of the Toyota family representing the ladies, and she's good at what she does. I can't say enough how pleased I am with our decision to make this purchase at this dealership, which happens to be where I bought my last Toyota 15 years ago. They know what they're doing and they're doing it right ! I hope this car last 15 years but in the meantime, I'm telling everyone if there're looking for a car, go to Toyota New Orleans, and by all means ask for Juniece...she's wonderful !!!!

The other members of the Toyota of New Orleans team that I had contact with during my visits to the dealership are Gerry Call, Internet Director, that was so gracious by giving my daughter a balloon, that she could not be separated from the rest of the weekend and Scott Carstens, Finance Manager, that had to brave the strong odor of perfume from the previous new Toyota owner in his office, as we went over my paperwork. I have purchased three vehicles from this dealership in the past and just purchased my fourth vehicle; all with the greatest of ease. I never felt pressured. Everyone there makes you feel welcome; like you are part of the family. My sales person, Shaun Upshaw went above and beyond the call of duty. Saleswoman Juniece was extremely positive, energetic and polite. Juniece made the entire process smooth and peaceful. She was very supportive and engaging from start to finish. By far the best salesperson in New Orleans. Financer Scott was very patient and informative during the process. My husband called Rieley Thompson at 9 am on Monday 4-30-12, by 6pm we were driving out of the Toyota place with a brand new Rav4 for our daughter. The entire process was fantastic and painless. Although this dealership could not compete for the price, it did a fantastic job by helping me make a decision on choosing a Sienna over an Odyssey. While I do not want to get into an argument of which car is better, the sales manager here got hold of a new Odyssey and a new Sienna and placed them side by side in front of me, and I just had to look for myself to figure out which one made more sense to buy... The choice became easier! Kudos to the sales manager! I just hope the management in this dealership are more price competitive.

I had to call ten times before the phone line "allowed" me to be routed properly. Then, when asking about a vehicle I saw for sale on-line, the salesperson giggled and said "That car hasn't been available for weeks." I said, "So you sold it?" The salesperson said "No, the engine don't work...if you want it for the price online, you have to buy it as-is." I think you should advertise whether or not a car is actually working completely, especially since your salesperson felt bothered by taking a phone call.

I called Toyota of New Orleans at 9 am on a Monday for a price on a used 2008 camry listed on their website with no price.I was transferred to a car saleman who took the car and my info down to return my call. 30 minutes later i called the dealership back because I hadnt heard from them, he was in a meeting. An hour after I talked to him, a lady calls me from the new car department. She gives me the run around...we have 2007s on the lot, i said no i called for that specific car. She kept asking me questions instead of just telling me what I wanted. Im assuming they didnt have that car and was listed with no price for people to simply call about that one and get talked into something else. After I told her look all I want to know is the price of that specific car not a 2007 or whatever else. She said ok ma'am and hung up on me. Now surprisingly after that I must have 10 phone calls from different sales people from Toyota of New Orleans. Unfortunatly for them I decided to get a brand new 2012 Camry at the Toyota of Slidell dealership bc I refused to go to Toyota of New Orleans!!!

I drove all the way to Toyota of New Orleans from Hammond, and was told by the salesman there that the $3,000 car I was looking at online was no longer there, that there was nothing even in that price range on the lot, and then he tried to sell me a $16,000 car. While I was talking with the salesman, I got an email from the online sales representative saying that the car was there and available to come test drive. I made some phone calls, got the run around, finally got ahold of the used car sales manager who told me the car was on the lot and apologized for my time they wasted. I was supposed to receive a phone call back from him three days ago, and still haven't. I will never do business with this place EVER again.

Received internet offer after inquiry for them to sell a 2003 Jeep Liberty for $3,465 which was their advertised price. I called Thursday and spoke with James Crowell who never called me back. I called again three hours later and spoke with James Crowell who said he was the only one there and had forgot to call me but would make sure the vehicle was available and call me right back. Four hours later I called and asked for used cars and spoke with John Dillon. Mr Crowell never called me back. John Dillon spoke with me and told me about the car. I offered to send a deposit and drive 2 and 1/2 hours to look at the car and buy it if it checked out. Mr Dillon gave me instructions as how to make deposit which I did immediately. I arrived Saturday as stated and Mr Dillon was not present so MR Crowell spoke with me after 35 minutes of waiting after my 2 and 1/2 hour drive. He told me the car was just sold last night but no one called me. I told him I had made a deposit as instructed and he just began to smirk and wanted to sell me something else. As we argued, Payton McDonald became very rude and stated I was not to talk to his salesman like that and say the situation was "garbage" which I did say and it was. I immediately told Mr. McDonald he was not to yell at me and that if a situation was "garbage" I could call it that. I then asked for the general manager and they had me speak to another manager who I'm sorry to say I forgot his name but he was friendly and cordial. Mr Dillon finally showed up and was apologetic for not being on time due to weather conditions and traffic. ( I drove 128 miles in the same condition but was early.) After demanding they sell me the car as quoted, they told me they sold it last night and it was no longer there which was a lie because I looked at the vehicle by their back fence where John Dillon told me it would be. Mr Crowell also stated he was on vacation and had not talked to me but he did because he finally admitted he was there the day I called. They finally told me they were able to sell the car which was on the lot still last night for 8,997 and had raised the price due to a 2000 dollar airbag problem that I would have had to pay for if it were still available. Basically they lied and sold the car out from under me for more money and did not honor the deal THEY OFFERED ME!. I would not recommend this dealer and would like to hear from others when this happened or happens to them. Note the other reviews and buyer beware. They told me this was a one time error but from the other reviews this has happened before. Sounds like a bait and switch setup to me where an advertisement is made just to bring in customers, then they attempt to sell other cars to. While I was there they said two other people where coming to look at the car, and my response was CALL the customers now and tell them the car is no longer available. THIS WAS THE WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!!

Friday after talking with used car department on the phone several times. I drove 2 and a half hours from Lafayette to this dealership. I had been assured that the used 4runner I saw on the internet would still be there after my drive from Lafayette and would be ready for me to test drive. I took of of work the rest of the day and proceeded to drive to the dealership. When I got there I was brought out to a used 4runner. The vehicle had a flat tire on it and I was told that they had lost the key to it which should have been fixed before I drove down 2 and a half hours to test drive. After about 30 minutes of waiting someone finally came out and talked to me. He told me that they could not locate the key and that in order to change the tire I would have to pay more money than the advertised price and that I would have to come back on the next morning. Which would have been fine if I had not drove all the way from Lafayette, why would someone tell me to drive down to test drive a car that can't be driven until the next day? After I told them that I would not be able to drive all the way back so soon I asked if they could please try to fix the tire and find the key. After another 30 minutes of waiting a manager, James, came out and talked to me. He told me after several minutes of yelling profanities and slapping cars that the 4runner that his salesman had just showed to me was not even owned by the dealership and that it was for one of the mechanics friends and was being fixed on the side for free by the mechanic. He also told me that one of his dirty dishonest salesmen was the one that told me to drive all the way from Lafayette with out even knowing anything about the car.

Went to dealer for a used car. Assistant sales manager helped me and was everywhere but with me. They ran my credit and as soon as they saw it wasn't going to be a easy deal they dropped me. Salesperson didnt return my calls after I spent the entire day in their dealership.

Had a great experience with Gerry Call, he was extremely helpful and knowledgable when I came in to purchase a new Toyota for Toyota of New Orleans. Since dealing with him, both my mom and my sister have bought cars from him and loved him. We even received a Christmas card from him.

BEWARE of THIS DEALERSHIP>>>>We purchased a 2009 Sequoia two days before Christmas 08. Before we left the dealership we noticed there was a nick on the window. Dennis said he would have someone come to the house and have the window replaced. It NEVER happened. I sent over a dozen emails and left several messages. We even left messages for the owner, who introduced himself when we were signing paperwork....supposedly this dealership is a Christian dealership. No one ever followed up with us, this is July 09 and now they are telling us we had 30-days to follow up. DUH!!! We did and I have the emails to prove it. We asked the owner, who had been so friendly to call us several times, he never has called us back and the brakes are bad on the vehicle too. The reason we went to this dealerships is b/c they were "supposed" to be a Christian dealership...However, I think they are straight from HELL. They have been very arrogant.

I am a single female, buying a car alone. I now live in Georgia and tried a few dealers in my area however felt somewhat ambushed. I decided to return to my original home in New Orleans to locate the dealer who sold me my 1999 Solara. He no longer worked for Toyota, however I was told about Glen Clark at Toyota of New Orleans. He would be honest, fair and not intimidate me. I paid for a one way ticket via Delta on May 2 2009 and went straight from the airport to the dealership. I met Glen Clark for the first time at the dealership and before lunch time I purchased a brand new 2009 Camry LE. Glen Clark was extremely professional, caring and went beyond being a salesman to make me comfortable in my purchase. In 10 years when I am ready to buy another Toyota I will return again to New Orleans, hoping to have the same experience. Charlotte Ray

sold me a car that wasn't there. paid full balance and had the order slip, complete with vin #, in my hand within an hour. While at my insurance agents office i recieved a call from the dealer telling me the car that i had bought had alreadey been sold to someone else. if he hadn't called me when he did i would've been buying insurance for someone else's car.dealer then told me there were 2 other colors available. i said "ok, sounds good" he then proceeded to tell me the two other cars were both crammed with options, pushing the base price up 2 thousand dollars. i told him to forget it and stopped payment on the check. very bad experience, not recommended.
