John Mayo was very helpful, even though mid way discussing one car we switched to another he never missed a beat or seemed impatient. John was also informative about the car while we took test drive.. His knowledge and delivery of same was interesting and probably what helped us make the final choice of car. This was the tip of the iceberg on the information front, the walk through he gave once the car was prepped was nothing short of amazing. John is definitely an asset to the dealership.

My experience was exceptional at Toyota World of Newton! I always received prompt service and responses while discussing all my options with Dalton Petit, Calvin Damon, and Tom Klose. The first person I spoke with was Dalton and he was able to show me all the features of the vehicles I was interested in. He was patient with all my questions and the length of time I took to decide on the final Rav4 Hybrid I purchased. Dalton was also very prompt in responding to my questions outside of my initial visit to the showroom. He definitely wanted to make sure I was getting all the information I needed. Calvin was able to speak to me more in depth about the Hybrid system and made sure I was fully aware of how it felt to drive such a unique car. I was able to take the Prius on an longer test drive to see its capabilities which further solidified my Hyrbid choice. Calvin was straight forward with everything we talked about, another great plus while working with him. Tom Klose was able to speak with me right before I decided on the Rav4, and he was able to help put my mind at ease with my decision. While the Prius was the most practical car for my lifestyle, I felt better sitting in the Rav4....and Tom as able to help me understand that I should enjoy the car outside of its practicality.....considering I will be for many many years! Between Dalton, Calvin and Tom, I felt very comfortable with the Rav4 Hybrid and I know I had the best possible experience purchasing my new car at Toyota World. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone!

This past July I took my 2010 Toyota RAV 4 to Toyota World of Newton for an oil change. While waiting, my husband and I were checking out the cars in the show room. We really didn't need a new car, although we had over 100,000 miles on it, it was still in perfect running order and never gave us a single problem. I fell in love with a RAV 4 that was in Black Currant Metallic. My husband was very interested in the Hybrid model because we do a lot of driving. As we were reading the capabilities of the car, we were approached by a sales associate - John Mayo who mentioned that if we needed any questions answered he would be more than happy to help us. Well both my husband and myself began bombarding John with questions. We have bought many cars through the years and dealt with many sales associates, but I must tell you that never have we met a sales associate with as much knowledge, expertise, and patience as John. My husband and I are both in our 70's and technology has somehow passed us by. Questions that some salesmen may have laughed at, John explained and re-explained without hesitation. By the time my oil change was done, and we left the dealership, my husband and I were pretty sure we were going to buy the 2016 RAV4 Hybrid. If we had another sales person rather than John Mayo, our decision may have been different. Never once did John pressure us in any way. It was his knowledge of the car, his professionalism and his overall charisma that sold us. We went back to see John about 2-3 weeks later and ordered. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed when I found out the Hybrid RAV4 did not come in Black Currant. In the long and short of it, I suppose color takes a back seat when it comes to quality. The day my husband and I picked up our new car, John sat with us in the car for over an hour going over everything from front to back. Again, his patience was outstanding. Even I was annoyed with myself by the time we drove off. As I said before, we are not tech people and this new car has many features we have never seen before, let alone heard of. From time-to-time John will call to ask how we are making out with the car? He tells us to make a list of whatever we are not comfortable with and to come in to the dealership to see him, and he will explain everything until we are comfortable. Thanks to John and thanks to Toyota. I would recommend this dealer without hesitation to any and all of my friends and family.

Our sales associate, Andy Porter, was wonderful. He was engaging, funny, and listened to what my wife and I were looking for. He never employed any superficial sales pitches; meeting with him was like being out for coffee with a friend (sans the coffee). He was perceived to be very genuine.The sales manager, Scott Tompkins, was also great. He was very accommodating and insightful. Even though he knew we were communicating with another Toyota dealer, he was never pushy, and to the contrary, was patient and fair. I appreciate that he respected our decision (we originally left without a sale), and still greeted us warmly when we returned after another deal had not worked out (which he had predicted - touche, Scott).Working with Andy and Scott was the most pleasant and laid back car-shopping experience either my wife or I have had.

I like dealing specifically with one Service Advisor (Stacey) who understands the history of my car (which is old - 2004, with 246,000+ miles). She always treats me fairly, helps me to prioritize what needs to be done as the car gets even older, and she is extremely pleasant to deal with. She is always professional and meticulous in her work and she has great suggestions. Major kudos for Stacey! The auto techs that work on my car have always done great work and it is nice to know there is a place I can go to where I know I can trust everyone. I used to be a die-hard Honda person but I love my old Toyota Highlander - she is a work horse and your team has kept her in great shape! (It is amazing how many guys in this garage I use in NYC want to buy this car!) We bought our second car in two years, both from Andy Porter. We just got lucky in finding him the first time. He's not pushy AT ALL and helped us find exactly what we wanted both times. The second time there was a slight problem with the car after less than a month of owning it. The back of the driver's side mirror was just gone. I do not know what happened to it. At first I thought it was taken but WHY and there was no sign at all of it being pried off or hit. It was going to be very expensive to fix and we had just bought a car! I was so disappointed and concerned about the cost. Andy helped us solve the problem and this was AFTER the sale had been made. Not only was this a great car buying experience but also and excellent post-purchase experience. Highly recommended!

Our salesman Greg was wonderful. He was patient and very helpful during the whole purchasing process. When our Rav4 XLE Hybrid arrived Greg demonstrated every part of the vehicle, showing us how everything worked and doing a hands-on demo of the entire Entune system and even paired my smartphone. Greg was able to answer every one of our questions. There is a lot to learn on these new vehicles but Greg really helped us understand so much of it. At Toyota World of Newton we felt welcomed and appreciated throughout the entire purchasing process. Every employee was courteous and helpful. My wife and I leased two vehicles in the past 3 months working with Kristina Quinn as our sales rep. Both times Kristina did an outstanding job of guiding us through the process. She helped us look at at the vehicles we were interested in without trying to influence our decision in any way. Kristina was also extremely helpful in discussing and providing financing options based on questions we had and the budget we were trying to maintain. I needed the muffler the resonator pipe and IAC replaced on my 2003 Matrix, I was told by the service consultant that They would not replace those two exhaust items they would only replace the whole exhaust system for $2000. the car is worth maybe $4000. They wanted $600 to replace the IAC , I found the part (OEM Part) on line for $200....... Over all I find this dealership to be extremely expensive and not really interested in working on cars that are 13 years old.

I just bought the 2015 Toyota Highlander. I researched various websites & 5 different dealers. My salesman Andy Porter was a Class Act all the way. He didn't pressure or use any of the typical "Buzz Words" that other salesman have used. Andy even called me the next day to see how everything was. I have friends whose salesman said they would call or e-mail, but never did. For me it was whether I could afford the monthly payments. He didn't try pushing me into another model, car or into a lease. I truly believe he is very sincere & genuine. Not your typical salesman which is why I drove 30 minutes to his dealership when I could easily have gone to 3 others which were closer. He even gave me his cell # & could be reached at any time. At the end, the financial officer didn't pressure me into any extended warranties & wouldn't take any calls until he was finished w/me. I highly recommend Toyota World of Newton & Andy Porter hands down.

All I can say is, it took me less time to buy a car (one afternoon) than to buy a bike (five months and counting). John Mayo was highly knowledgable and very efficient in taking us out on test drives and helping us focus in on the car that we ultimately took home (which wasn't the car we initially thought we would get, but we absolutely made the right choice). About a week ago, I stopped in at Toyota to look at the Tacoma's. I was approached by Shaun Hynes. Needless to say he knew every question I had for him and made the experience great. When it came to numbers, I told him where I needed to be and they made it happen all in 30 minutes. I put a deposit down and came back the next day and was in and out of finance within 10 minutes. I visited 4 dealerships looking for a Tacoma and the only thing it had to absolutely be was blue. Three dealerships said the same thing. A blue Tacoma is impossible to find there are not that many of them out there. My salesman Mr. Fernandes at Toyota World of Newton was the only one to pick up the phone and find me one. Everyone there was exceptionally nice and helpful. There facility was very clean and well maintained. I felt very comfortable there. I would recommend Toyota World of Newton to anyone looking for a new or used Toyota.

This was my first "new-car buying experience"; Calvin Damon made it as painless as possible! He was so friendly and helpful, he literally made it possible for me to even get the car I wanted. He worked with me until we could figure out a way to do it. Other dealerships I checked out did not want to put in any extra effort to help me but JR wouldn't stop until I was happy. It was a great experience and I am glad I went with this dealership. When I went a few months ago, I got a 2015 Scion TC and I still love it! Calvin stayed on top of everything that needed to be taken care of so I didn't have to stress. He even found the color I really wanted and ordered it to be there within a couple days! What an awesome experience. :)

Purchased my new Highlander this past weekend. The dealership and in particular the sales person, John Mayo, were great to work with. I was able to get the price I wanted and absolutely love my new car. John was extremely helpful and professional. He took the time to show me all of the features of my new car as well as gave me a tour of the facility so that when I did come in for service, I knew exactly where and what I needed to do. I highly recommend this dealership and John Mayo! Only difficulty I had was dealing with my insurance company, Allstate, took 45 minutes to for the process to be completed, mostly because I was put on hold for 30 minutes and both John and I had to give the information on the Highlander twice, once when we first called and then after the 30 minute hold time again to the next person on the line - very painful process, but not in any way an issue with the dealership. -Cheryl

My husband has a lot of health issues and I have never had to buy a vehicle essentially on my own, yet this was the first time and it had to be done as our vehicle was in need of repairs and we needed something reliable. Since I live local I went to Toyota World and anxiously went into the showroom. I was quickly and kindly greeted by a Salesman named John M. He was very kind and not pushy at all. He seemed to be able to ask me all the right questions to help me get into an affordable vehicle with very high rankings. After a road test in a Camry and a detailed explanation of all the safety features as well as everything else about the vehicle and warranty etc. I felt very comfortable with John and after all the stories I heard from people about their car buying experiences I was afraid I was going to be pushed or rushed into something I would later regret. I did not feel that at all with John and know that with Johns help and guidance this was a good decision and I couldn't be happier. I would and do recommend John to anyone I know looking for a car.

I went into my local toyota dealer not knowing much about the toyota product. Now i feel like i can work for toyota. My salesman Greg S. was extremly well versed on the Tundra that i was looking for. He explained every feature to me in perfect detail. I now realize why i see so many of these trucks on the road. After the demostration of all the equipment we went on a test ride. I couldnt believe the smooth ride that this truck had. It feels like i was riding on a cushion of air. Needless to say i now am the proud owner of a 1794 edition 2014 Tundra. I couldn't decided if I wanted a Corolla or a Camry and JR went over each vehicle with me, and show me the benefits of each one. I decided to go with a Camry SE because It has a sporty look to it, plus the great gas milege it has. IF it wasn't for JR I would be in a Corolla because I had no idea the camry had a sporty model. I cant say enough positive things about Toyota of Newton. I drove over two hours to Central New Jersey from Philadelphia to purchase my Highlander at this dealership. This is saying a lot because there are multiple (over 5) dealerships within 15 - 20 minutes from where I live. The reason for that was the exceptional service and price they offered. Specifically, I negotiated a trade in of my convertible and purchase of a Highlander (Dennis D. is a Superstar). The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, responsive and professional. We felt like a valued friend/customer versus a number (our experience at other dealers) with everyone we dealt with, from our first visit to picking up the vehicle. I am not one to flame a company or individual in a public comment, but long story short, this is the most ridiculous sales team I have ever encountered. They are liars and they assume you are a moron. My friend who is a former car salesman, and was with me at the time, said he has never seen a sale go that badly. We had a deal over the phone, needless to say it fell through, however words cannot do justice for how pitifully things went thereafter. Don't waste your time, especially if you are coming in from a distance like I did!!

This is a testimonial on my interaction with Newton Toyota. First and foremost, at the leadership of Victor Filimonchuk, General Manager - everything went smoothly and he was involved in every step of the process. Mr. Filimonchuk 'does care about the customer experience' and does everything to facilitate that; he is a consummate professional. I have nothing but good things to say about him and his leadership. Another good experience I had was with Betsy Marerro Sales Associate. Betsy was personable and directed me to reconsider a Toyota product after highlighting a few of the new options. She made certain that I was guided along the entire process and in good hands. I also dealt with Gregory who was very polite and shared his information on the vehicle with options. He was genuinely helpful and exhibited a team spirit. I also met most of the Service Department staff members that are top notch. They also scheduled a future service appointment to ensure that things are working out well. With so many dealers having that highway mentality of hard sales - that is not the case here. As a service member in the Navy who has recently returned from a combat tour in Afghanistan, I can tell you first hand that this dealership is very friendly towards military. Betsy Marrero helped my husband and me pick out a 2013 Toyota Highlander. My husband is also active duty military and they made us feel welcomed and appreciated right away. They were willing to work with us on the price and honored their word of a $500 military discount. Additionally, Betsy worked hard to make sure we found the exact model and color we liked for an amount we felt comfortable with. A lot of places say they are military friendly and it is often just for show. However, Toyota World in Newton and especially Betsy were willing to accomodate our needs. Coming home from a stressful tour overseas, walking into this dealership was very comfortable and not aggravating at all. Some dealerships we had dealt with seemed to lie to us or pressure us into buying a model they were trying to move off their lot. Here I felt like we were able to say exactly what we wanted and Betsy was truly a good listener. It is definitely a family place and I would not think twice about coming back here to buy another car. We love our Highlander and are happy with our purchase and our service that we received there. Spencer worked with us in finance-- he was great, too. Brian showed us the tricks of the trade in teaching us how to use our new vehicle, he was patient and respectful. Also, as USAA members (our bank for military), this dealership matched the advertised price and then some. Thank you again Betsy: our family is very thankful! You are fantastic!

I had a great experience dealing with Toyota World. I had searched a long time to find a used Venza with all the right options. I finally found it through Toyota World's internet sales dept. The ladies in the Internet sales dept were helpful and responsive from the first inquiry and numerous emails and phone calls to get more info. It was a Toyota Certified Used vehicle so I knew it had to meet their stringent inspection process, but as an out of state buyer I had to rely on the word of the sales staff for the condition and description of the vehicle. My bank was very slow to get everything finalized with the financing and the staff remained patient through the process. I also couldnt make the 3+ hour trip for about a week after making the offer, and they held the vehicle for me as promised. I dealt with John Mayo to finalize the sale and I cant say enough great things about him. I took a rental car to make the drive and John was there to greet me as I arrived and stayed late about 10:30 pm until the last signature was signed. He even drove me to drop off my rental car. John Mayo was helpful, friendly, communicated well, honest, and went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied. He even followed up after the sale to make sure I was happy with my purchase. I would definitely recommend Toyota World of Newton and would return in the future. The vehicle was just as described and was an exceptional price compared to the many others I had seen through my several month search. I am still extremely happy and satisfied with my purchase. My previous car (1998 Ford Escort, with 168,000 miles) died last week and I needed to replace it quickly. We decided on another Toyota, we had purchased a Corolla 5 years ago. We had had a good experience with Kevin Smith at Toyota Scion of Newton and started there. When we arrived we were told Kevin was no longer with them, so we had the pleasure of meeting and working with Mike Yodice. After listening carefully, Mike understood our criteria for purchase and set about showing us only those cars which met our needs. That showed respect for the customer and was quite refreshing. We had started by telling Mike that we were going to shop around but make a decision within 24 hours. He respected that also, wished us well and sent us off with all the information and paperwork we would need if we decided on him. He followed up with a phone call thanking us for coming in and offering any assistance we might need. After checking out the competition, we returned the next day and purchased our 2013 Corolla from Mike. He walked us through the paperwork as efficiently and expertly as he had done with the car, with the able assistance of Spencer Incera in Finance. It is a well run and inviting experience and we would refer any friends to them. Have to dash off in my new car now....

Let me start with that I worked for several Toyota/other dealerships in my life being with them for about 15 - 20 yrs working in positions from receptionist to comptroller. And yes, I always let them know this whenever I went in to purchase a vehicle. My family and I were always treated with a shared respect for the business. Today I purchased my third Camry from this dealership, my second from Mike (it would have been my third from Mike but he was busy with another customer and a salesmen which I really didn't care for handled the sale). My husband purchased a 2001 Tacoma from Mike which our daughter was driving up until a few weeks ago (rotted undercarriage and gas tank) and now she will be driving my 2003 Camry. We have never had an issue that couldn't be handled in the years that we have been dealing with Mike and company. Always professional, always similarities to share with each other (turns out Mike's wife shops where I work and his daughter may be working with me in the future and I did not know this until today, and always a comfortable atmosphere. It is nice to 'shop' there knowing there is a 'small world' connection. I like knowing that people know people I know! I would and have recommended this dealer to many of my friends and tonight while I was showing my husband the car two of my neighbors stopped to congratulate me on my new purchase. Turned out that my friend Kitty had just purchased her new RAV4 from them on Saturday! Thank you for a wonderful experience! I love my new Carmy!

I dealt exclusively with Mike Yodice and will continue to when I purchase my next Prius Plug-in. He had a vast, accurate and complete knowledge of this car even before the first Plug-in arrived. He very patiently explained the car and answered every one of my questions--accurately. The questions were not all easy ones either, as my background is mechanical engineering and airline pilot. He is not a typical high pressure salesman which I cannot tolerate. He seemed as excited about the car as I was. When the car arrived, he spent several hours allowing me to push the buttons while he explained how to set up the Toyota Entune, the Sirius XM radio, navigation, voice activation, etc. With his help and patience Mike and I set up everything necessary. That night and the next day I read the manual to review what we had done the day before. Toyota & Toyota Scion World of Newton are vary fortunate to have Mike Yodice as an employee.

I can't say enough positive things about your salesperson Mike Yodice! Mike realizes how to listen to customers, to find the perfect vehicle. Even though I was looking for an economy vehicle, Mike took the time, to find the exact car I needed. No pushy tactics, no switching of the numbers he quoted me from the beginning and took his time with every question and concern I had. i also would like to thank his sales manager, Bob Leonard for keeping his word on the price of my trade. Sales Associate was very knowledgable about the vehicle and had answers to all questions asked about the vehicle. He took his time explaining everything and did not rush us or pressure us to buy a vehicle. We ended up being there for five hours between test driving and asking questions. It was a pleasure to work with someone who wasn't just pressuring you into a sale and made sure you were happy and satisfied and felt comfortable with the decision to buy from them. We were given the tour of the entire facility and met associates in the Parts Department and Service. Everyone was very friendly and answered all of our questions. Their Service Department is also open seven days a week so scheduling service will not be an issue working around our busy schedules. I would definitely recommend this dealership and John Mayo.

When I originally went to the dealership it was to fix my car at the Service Department which I had purchased from this dealership. Unfortunately my car had problems where I decided that I would have to get another car. I was upset that I had to say goodbye to my car. My household had purchased 4 cars from this dealership and was in the process of purchasing the 5th. Chris Young greeted us on the lot and turned out I was his first customer on his first day. He was sympathetic with my dilemma and understood my situation. He did everything in his power to make it as smooth as possible. There were a few bumps beyond his control with my trade in of my car which caused distress. We were on the lot all day trying to find something that I wanted. Chris was working with one Manager that I don't recall who that was that really couldn't make me happy with my trade in. Later in the day I encountered Wesley Mancias; who noticed I was upset with something and came and sat with us to discuss with us why we were upset. I explained to Wesley my concerns and he understood why I was upset. he immediately said he would fix my problem with the trade in and we came to an understanding that we agreed upon. He instantly fixed what was upsetting me and continued the purchase of my new car. I started out very emotional about the situation of having to buy a new car. Chris and Wesley did ease my mind. i would recommend them to my friends. Toyota reputation speaks for itself; but Wesley is an asset as a Manager.

I went to Toyota World in search of a used Tundra. I was introduced to Lou Cosco who showed me a few Tundras that were out of my price range. Lou said that a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 in my price range was on the lot earlier in the day but was moved to a different dealership but he took my number and said he would call if a truck in my price range came in. By the time I got home, Lou had called and said they were bringing the Ram back if I wanted to look at it. I went back and it was perfect. A test drive revealed some mechanical issues and after negotiating an acceptable price with Wesley Mancias, I agreed to buy it if repairs were made. They immediately took the truck into service and in 2 days they addressed and repaired all of the issues plus a few more that they had discovered while doing so and I drove away in new to me truck. From start to finish, they addressed my every need and kept their word on anything that they said. They were all very professional and friendly and I felt that they had my best interests in mind during the whole process. I would like to thank Lou Cosco, Wesley Mancias and Bob Leonard for making this a painless and enjoyable experience for me. I will definitely recommend this dealership to friends for either a new or used car purchase.

Went in to trade our corolla, stated where we wanted our payments to be. Couldn't get them there!!! Came back with their advertised specials which they said was a typo & couldn't/wouldn't honor it! The salesperson told my husband "he's heard this happen before". On my way back I called & spoke to a manager Bob telling him how dissatisfied I was with the situation & trying to figure it out. Unfortunately, he didn't even have the decency to call me back. Luckily, the brand new sales person did w/ a recommendation for a new dealership. Thankfully, Sussex Honda was able to get us in a brand new Civic & made the payments w/ no hassles or run around. On a positive note, service did fit my Sienna (which I purchased at this dealership) in for an oil change & got it done fast for school pick up. Sadly, after the TERRIBLE experience & turn off today I hope to get rid of my sienna ASAP or use Towne Toyota in Ledgewood for service where they said they would honor Newtons ads!!!

!. Vehicle was last serviced by this dealer on February 8th, 2013. Since that time, and this could be purely coincidence, I have went from 53 mpg to 43mpg and still dropping. I brought it in today 3/19/2013 to diagnose the problem and they said nothing is wrong and that is normal. 2. When I pull into thier garage for service, I am usually greeted friendly right at my car door. I sat there and nobody was around but Vinny Scuralli is watching me from inside the service office. I get out of the car and stand around for a minute. Still no greeting and Vinny is stil staring at me from inside. I finally walk in and he gives me no greeting, no smile and says nothing. I say I have a 9:30 appointment and he checks me in like a robot. He tells me to come back out after 15 minutes and says nothing is wrong and sends me on my way. 3. I called the complaint line for Toyota corporate and they were like robots too and ended up pointing me back to the customer service manager at the dealership. They said that person would call me back within 3 days!!!!!!!! Unless this is resolved within 24 hours I will never buy another Toyota again and I will never use that dealership again. It is absolutely incredible that you can lose 10 mpg on A HYBRID, with the mpg continuing to dive and not only can they not resolve the issue they show no concern nor people skills at all.

I wasn't being coerced or forced into doing anything and the person helping me was understanding. I told him that I was shopping around and that I was not in a rush to purchase and he respected that. Drove 1.5 hrs, shopped for almost 2hrs, received a rediculous lowball wholesale price for my trade and a higher than advertised internet price on their car by $1500. This was very upsetting seeing that I called and talked them about the price before I began my 1.5 hr. drive! Left me with that "I hate salesman" feeling again.
