I went in to test drive a vehicle but wasn't ready to purchase yet. They weren't pushy at all but very informative and friendly. I went in after making an appointment. I had been there the previous week with out an appointment and was not approached by anyone, which is kinda nice if you just want to look around but not so great if you want to purchase a vehicle.

I am a senior citizen, on a limited income and they listened to my needs and managed to accommodate each and every one. Everyone was patient and courteous throughout the process. Just bought my first Honda... Met with Geo Rower... He was more than exceptional!!!! Went over everything!!! He asked any questions?... No... You've pretty much covered everything... He explained ALL the gadgets and gizmos!!! Left with a good understanding of the vehicles technical / up to date technology. He assured me.... If you have questions call or come back... I will help you... My phone connected to bluetooth, phone book and a speed dial was programed into the car before I left.. He said... When you get a new phone, come back... I will change everything for you... Who does that??? Dealt with Frank and Sier in Finance... They took great care of me too... Didnt sell me things I didn't need... I am so happy to have had those three men helping me... Car buying can be such a headache.... Those three made the process easy and stress free... Totally recommend Tracy Honda... See those men... Geo, Frank and Sier!!!!

From the moment walking in to Honda Dealer. I was greeted with a smile. That right away made me feel that I was in the right place. My sales person was awesome, polite,genuine and most of all wanted to hear what I was looking for. He sat down with me and asked me questions to get to know my personal style. He was by far the Best Sales personal that I have encountered in any dealer. You could tell he Loves what he does and wants to make the buyer go home with what they were looking for. Dan greeted us Me (and car ) at the door and said I'm ready for you Mr. Phillips and I have the driver to drive you home, and I live in Manteca. and it was about 1 1/2 hrs. until I received a call from Daniel that my car was finished and the driver was close to me on the Freeway and would be here to pick me up in a few minutes. My car was done correctly and was ready to go so I paid them and Daniel told me at the next service I will probably need the air cleaner changed and the cabin air filter also, letting me know ahead really helps. I would like to say Daniel has always been very respectful and polite to me when I visit the dealership, not that I am someone special but he is just that kind of man.Thank You very MuchI don't worry about my carwhen it is at TRACY HONDA

We needed to replace a car that could no longer be repaired and these guys helped us quickly and efficiently.After we decided on the model and options, Gordon took care of everything. They even delivered the car to my house. The two men who delivered the car were fantastic - they had all the paperwork ready and even had the documents marked using blue and pink highlighter indicating where my wife and I needed to sign.Never had to travel to the dealership -- took care of everything via email and phone. I recently bought a used Honda pilot from Tracy Honda. I worked with Dylan and was very happy with their service and the vehicle. Additional work had to be done on the car but I live 1 hour away so Dylan sent someone to come pick up the car and gave me a loaner; it was convenient and everyone I spoke to was very nice. We received excellent service at Tracy Honda and highly recommend this dealership to other customers. We were looking to replace our Honda Odyssey and had visited six different dealerships in the Bay Area before driving out to Tracy Honda, and our experience was well worth the extra travel time. We were pleasantly surprised by the large inventory of vehicles, and the salesperson who greeted us (Far Turangan) was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. While the final price for the vehicle was a little more than we wanted to pay, we were happy to get the kind of vehicle we wanted. Overall, we had a very positive experience. I got a used Accord at Tracy Honda this past Saturday. I found the car on-line and I spoke to James Harren on the phone to get as much detail on it as I could before I drove almost 100 miles to Tracy for a test-drive. James was very helpful and he even put a reservation on the car, so that it doesn't get sold to another customer while I drive. When in Tracy, James showed me all the bells and whistles of the car (this is my first Honda) and he even helped me estimate maintenance cost on the car for the next 30K miles. After we agreed on the deal the process slowed down a bit as the dealership was busy (it was President's Day weekend after all). My overall impression of the dealership was very positive, all areas were nice and clean and people were nice and forthcoming. I feel like it will be worth the drive to get my next car here again.

Lets just start by saying I came out of this dealership not only with a new 2015 Honda CRV EX-L but also with a big fat SM:)E. Outstanding customer service throughout the whole experience from walking into the door and driving off the lot. I did my research already before hand about this vehicle so I knew what I wanted. Gordon Gooch the Fleet/Internet mgr helped me with the sale and got me int a new 2015 CRV at a very good price. He was very thorough with explaining everything to me and polite. Very nice guy. I was surprised when they they pulled my credit for financing and found out it was not that great. That point I was discouraged and thought I won't get a great rate. Then Frank Esparza stepped in and did a wonderful job getting me a "MAGICAL" rate, and let me tell you it was a great rate. He worked very hard to help me out. Thank you Frank! Financing then went through like a breeze (thanks Todd Suender). A few signatures here and there I was out of there a happy camper. At the end Gordon delivered my vehicle with gas filled and cleaned. I highly recommend this place if you are in search of a new vehicle. Customer service was excellent and the whole staff in there were very polite and helpful. Thank you Tracy Honda!

In addition togetting an oil change, I purchased some "touch-up" paint. the item was not in stock on 11/18/2014, but was ordered that day. Chad told me it might be possible for me to save a trip from Brentwood to Tracy since on occcassion by a delivery person who took Honda Parts to auto repair shops in Brentwood. Fortunately for me on 11/2014 a delivery was made to Brentwood including my paint. I didn't neeed to drive 25 miles back to Tracy to getmy paint.! James Herren. He cannot even pretend to be civilized person even on email. He communicates like a 10 year old child. I gave him a competitor's quote and asked him if he could beat it. Simple question...right? No. He says I am lying. He kept insisting I am lying until I gave him stock number of the other person. Avoid this dealership. I went with my friend few years ago, and when we didn't buy the car from them they had the audacity to say "Thanks for wasting our time". Losers work at this place...THANK GOD I didn't have to face these people and stopped the communication in the email.

Here's our nightmare experience with this dealership: We found a vehicle online, and make an appointment to see it. BEFORE making the trip all the way from the East Bay to Tracy, we called James Herren, and spoke with him that day, to confirm that the vehicle was there. He assured us it was, and we drove down to see it. Upon arrival, we were shocked to discover that NO, the car was not there! James told us "this happens all the time" and that "he can't control when a vendor takes a vehicle out for repairs." So much for our confirmation call an hour beforehand, when he assured us the vehicle was available for a test drive. Apparently, it had not been on the lot, as it was at a body shop getting a new bumper. We were told that it would take 40 minutes to get the car back to the dealership. We waited, and watched as customer after customer was either ignored, or left waiting. In the short time we were there, we witnessed 2 incidents where customers came in to complain. The lack of customer service at this dealership was so bad, it almost seemed like someone was playing a practical joke on us. Seriously, we were amazed at how poorly it was run. James told us he was the manager, and this told us all we needed to know. Nobody took ownership of our situation. Nobody cared that we drove all the way there. Nobody shook our hand. Nobody asked if we wanted to see another car. Nobody apologized when it took OVER AN HOUR for the vehicle to be brought back to the dealership so we could view it. Then comes the best part: when the car finally arrived back on the lot for a test drive, it was disgusting! The interior was absolutely filthy. Stains on the seats, and a really bad "fishy" smell in the car. James gave us ALL of the following reasons for the filth, during our test drive: 1. He said the vehicle was sitting on the lot for 45 days before we arrived. 2. He said they generally don't clean the cars, since "customers are using them for test drives, and they will get dirty anyhow." 3. As for the stains on the seats, he shifted gears (no pun intended) and told us they HAD already tried to steam the stains out of the seats. See item #2, as this is a direct contradiction. Weird. Adding insult to injury, the car was almost out of gas as we were driving it. So there was no way we would take it very far. I am amazed that this dealership stays in business. What an absolute nightmare. Sad part is, we really really wanted to buy a car that day. Came to the dealership pre-approved, and with a heft downpayment, just hoping to leave with a vehicle. Never going back there again.

I came all the way from Clovis , Calif. near Fresno to check out the 2014 -Honda Accords -- The friendly staff and my salesman James Herren was a great experience . I hate shopping around for a new car and Mr. James Herren made it very enjoyable and I felt comfortable with his professional manner . The price was unbeatable here in THE FRESNO AREA,. This was the best experience I've ever encountered in purchasing a new vehicle. Far Turangan made us feel very comfortable from the very beginning. He let us cruise the lot without pressuring us to buy the first thing we looked at. His calming demeanor was something we never experienced. This kept us focused on the vehicle we wanted to purchase. Jim was great to work with over the phone -- responsive and timely. We worked out an agreement to accommodate the 500 mile trip to see the vehicle. Regardless of the reputation that dealerships charge high prices, I have always chosen to get my Accord serviced at the dealership. I have taken my car at other Honda locations and nothing beats TRACY Honda! Trust me, I had a lesson learned thinking it's all the same. NOT! And that is the truth!!I have been going to TRACY Honda since 2007 and I am beyond satisfied every single time. Having to relocate to Walnut Creek, I continue to take my car here. Occasionally I stay local for an oil change. But, if I lived closer, definitely I will take that trip because that's how awesome the service team are. They are by far the BEST and would not take my car anywhere else especially for major service. They really take great care of you! It's not just the competitive prices or the honesty or the relaxing waiting area with the neat hot beverage machine & snacks, it's the wonderful team that keeps me coming back. I also had to seek my own financing. After getting approved from an outside source the Honda finance department didn't really attempt to assist with a purchase. I have 30 days to find a car and have started looking at other dealers. I have never had this type of experience with a Honda dealer. I would already be driving a brand new car if I were in Cleveland Heights. I really liked my sales rep, but if you don't have perfect credit don't shop here.

I just wanted to say that when my wife and I went to shop for a used Honda Pilot Nick Sandhu took the time to show us and explain all the different models they have available at the dealership. Nick has shown us patience and not even for a second that we felt we were pressured to make a purchase. Wife and I spoke with Russel (Internet Sales Manager) over the course of a few days regarding an 07' Acura TL. We were told it was ready for us to come take a look so we drove almost an hour to the lot. Car looked great but.......it was a manual transmission and not the advertised automatic (autotrader and their own website). I cannot believe in the three days of communications, this was not related to us. How in the world do you mistake a TRANSMISSION? All we got was a paltry "sorry". We immediately left. Go to a more reputable/responsible dealership. How embarrassing.....

At first, I hesitated bringing my Honda to a dealership for service, because of their reputation of charging high prices for services. However, being new to Tracy and not knowing any of the local mechanics, I decided to bring my car to Tracy Honda when my car started to make unexplained noises that concerned me. It was the best decision I could have made.When Jeremy Stricker (Assistant Service Manager) answered my initial phone call, he told me that I'd be pleasantly surprised at their competitive prices and great service ... and he was absolutely right. It was not only a great experience, but the cost was quite reasonable. In addition to a general tune-up, they performed a complimentary multi-point inspection and tightened the frame to remove the clunking noise that was the initial reason for requesting service. Whatever they did, it worked because the noise is gone. They even washed my car as a courtesy! EVERYONE was friendly, helpful, professional and knowledgeable. When I arrived, Mark greeted me with a BIG smile and warm welcome. He directed me to Jeremy, who did a wonderful job managing everything that needed to be done for 100% satisfaction while being sensitive to keeping the cost reasonable and affordable. The guy that took me on a test drive (unfortunately, I don't remember his name) was proficient in trying to duplicate the noise to determine what needed to be done, and he impressed me with his positive comments about his employment with Tracy Honda. The Service Dept. in general is clean and comfortable for its customers, providing gourmet coffee and leather chairs in their lounge.Tracy Honda offers a free shuttle to bring you anywhere you want (within reason, of course) while they work on your car. The shuttle will also pick you up when your car is ready. The shuttle drivers were friendly and informative.You would think that with the high quality of a place, the prices would be expensive, but they are quite reasonable and fair. I highly recommend Tracy Honda. I'm happy and my Honda is running great!

I was dealing with a newer individual and i didn't get that same reassuring feeling that he was going to take care of my care as Jeremy has in the past. That being said it has only been because i have been reassured by customer service that they would take care of me; Purchases - 2003 Honda Accord, 2004 Honda Accord, 2005 Honda Accord, and 2008 Honda Accord. All purchased brand new. The latest is that there is a new gal there named Sarah who contacted me after i left the dealership to inform me that they had over charged me after i had submitted a discount coupon. My name is Michael Lund and I purchased a used 2006 Mini Cooper from Tracy Honda in July this year. I am very satisfied with the car but had a very bad experience on Monday 10/17/11.I received in the mail a "Happy Birthday" oil change offer of $29.95. I was not told, and forgot to ask, by the salesman when I purchased the Mini if the oil had been changed recently back in July when I bought it so wanted to get it changed so I knew.I had a 7:30AM appointment setup on Monday 10/17/11 and was there at 7:10AM. I spoke to Kathy Dansie. She went out to get some numbers off the car for the service. She came back into the service office & said "we don't do Mini's here just Honda's, you need to take it to BMW". I immediately said "but I bought it here & was mailed this "Happy Birthday" oil changed offer". She said again that we do not do Mini's here without even checking with the service manager.After the service manager said "OK, it should cover it...barely", Kathy then gave me a copy of the workorder and said "go out and catch the shuttle, he is leaving". I quickly proceeded out the door to the van & just as I got to the van he proceeded to pull away. I had to wissle to get him to stop...Kathy had not radioed him to alert him of another customer to shuttle home.Very bad experience & bad customer service.I need to find out some service information about this car & would like someone to phone me at 510-719-1290 to discuss. It also has a 3 year service warrentee.

Going in for the first time to buy a car, you always hear bad stories how the salesmen are like sharks and hustle you! Not at Tracy of Honda and not Gordon Gooch.He was helpful, honest, gave me prices up front and good ones at that.He exceeded all my expectations, and even threw in a few free things.Which at the other dealer ship (Honda El Cerrito) i went to before used it as a negotiating tool.Also,after purchasing my new 08 Accord, I had a issue with the back seat which Gordonslice the price a little bit so i can pay to have it fixed. He was helpful and found me a great deal to have it fixed at Coach Automotivein the bay area. They were also great, friendly, helpful, and gave me a greatdeal. Normally after you buy a car, you dont hear from the salesman. But Gordon answered all of my calls and helped with everything i needed andeven followed up to make sure i was taken care of.Best Car Buying Experinece Ever!!!And i've been there when other people bought cars, so i know.Thanks Gordon Gooch!!! =)

He makes feel like the car we were buying is going to break down very soon and we should get the extra insurance. I almost did not get this car for this reason. This is the best experience I've ever had at a car dealership. I was in the market for a new Honda Fit and was dreading going to a dealership. It all changed when I got here, the salesperson I dealt with Joseph Khan made this very easy me. There was no BS or gray area and I didn't feel pressured to buy, everything was in black and white. Within an hour and a half I was on my way home in my brand new 2011 Honda Fit with a great price and monthly payment. The business manager Todd Suender was extremely helpful and finalized everything with me before we finished the deal. They are always professional and attentive to the customer.Something lacking at other dealerships. I found Russell Ybarra to be both professtional and friendly. He had an uphill battle as the dealership did not have the model that I was looking for. Yet, he grinded to try to get me the car and price that I wanted. Case in point, he e-mailed me Sunday morning to notify me he would be following from the prior day at 7:00 am. I had a great experience with Tracy Honda, I never at any point felt pressured in any way. I simply sent an email explaining what I was looking for and shortly there after received a call back from Russell. I told him what I was looking to do and then told him when I would be in. When I got there we went directly into looking at what I wanted. I wasted no time and my time was not wasted. I was in and out quickly. I would highly reccomend this dealership, I drove out of my way because I knew how nice they were to work with.

I moved here in the City of Manteca last year and I owned a couple of Hondas. I chosed Tracy Honda because of great Customer Service, particularly the service dept. Ben Yadao, Service Advisor, did a great job in explaining the required maintenance on my Odyssey.With this great service, I knew my Hondas will be in good hands!To add more, my Odyssey was included for the Master Cylinder recall, I called Mistlin Honda about this and they asked question ..like...did you get a card or noticed?..etc plus of course I was told to hold for the service advisor which took more than 15 minutes of futile waiting. When I called Tracy Honda about the recall, they just asked for my VIN and told me to bring my Odyssey anytime and they will do it... and they did!!!Great service guys and shame on you Mistlin Honda.

I have been buying Hondas form Tracy Honda since 1994, so I did not hesitate to go back and buy our 2012 Honda Civic. Gordon understood why I needed the car I was looking for, my wife is disabled and I needed the Navigation and blue tooth.He explained the car in detail and he kept us in our price range. He also didnt waste our time, we asked quistins and he had answers, when we did the paperwork, it was fast and the loan officer explained everything in detail just as Gordon did. Why, Our experience at Tracy Honda was excellent. Our Sales manager, Nick Sandhu was courteous, informative, and low key. We had an opportunity to ask questions, and they were all answered satisfactorily, clearly, and at a level of detail that met out specific needs. He focused on what we, the customer wanted to know. I really appreciate that he left us alone when we needed time and did not give us a high pressure "sales chatter" as so many places do. The business manager was also excellent. We came to this dealer because the car we wanted was advertised at a good price. We purchased the car because the dealership provided the service we required, and the car was as advertised.

We were looking for a new SUV to suit our growing family. We wandered around the lot and found exactly what we were looking for. My car battery died. I was able to charge it and bring it in. I called ahead and they were ready for me. I had my daughter with me so I couldn't stay long. They replaced my battery within 45 minutes. They had a bunch of snacks there which helped since it was almost lunch time. The complimentary hot cocoa and fruit were a big hit with my daughter. The separate toy room kept my daughter occupied. It ended up being a very pleasant experience. Michael took very good care of us.

The sales staff at Tracy Honda was very customer focused. Even with the current state of the automobile market with the aftermath of what's going on in Japan, the staff there wasn't too pushy. They seemed to genuinely care about trying to find me the car that I wanted. I never felt pressured to buy or felt lured into something I wasn't interested in. They took the input of what I was looking for, and even with a very difficult to find vehicle, found me the EXACT car I wanted with the EXACT options and my number one color choice and executed a dealer trade. On top of that, they offered a fair price (I wish I could have gotten it lower, of course) considering the market status. I would definitely recommend this dealer to anyone in the area looking for a new Honda. When I bring my car in for service down the line, I will definitely stop by and say hello to the folks that made the sale happen. I hope the service there is as good as it was with my last new car.

I went in to find a part for my 2005 Odyssey. Although it appears to be a part that rarely fails, since they haven't needed to order many in the past, Dan was able to find it quickly on the computer. I've been to other dealers in the past where the parts person had some troubles finding the correct parts. This was not the case with Dan at Tracy Honda. The dealership didn't have it in stock (see rarely ordered above). Dan was able to tell me how long it would take to arrive based on where the part was coming from. The service was quick, efficient & friendly. I have great confidence in recommending Dan at Tracy Honda to my friends for any parts issues they may have.

I had a great experience. I had been researching used Accords for about5 days and doing my homework on-line. I researched prices for private party sales, Craiglist, Honda dealers in the Sacramento/Roseville area, etc. AutoTrader was a good resource to get a feel for prices. I knew which trim level, color, and mileage I wanted and every Accord that I came across on AutoTrader that caught my eye because of the price and mileage, was a Tracy Honda vehicle. Each Tracy Honda car was consistently $2,000- $3,000 cheaper than the other dealers, so I decided to go to their Website. They had 30+ used Accords on their website compared to other dealers who only had about 10-11 vehicles. I contacted their Internet sales dept and spoke with Hank to get more info on the cars they had. Since there were multiple cars I was interested in, I made the drive from Sacramento. Hank was there when I arrived and showed me many different vehicles. I went there not expecting them to budge on the advertised price because it was already so low, and I was right. Hank explained the process of how they get their previously owned vehicles and explained the different models and the difference between a Honda Certified vehicle and one that is not certified. Most importantly, he explained to me how the warranty works on a Certified Honda. I was already approved from my credit union and the whole process was easy and comfortable. I purchased the car and love it. Thanks Hank!

My brother in law had contacted another local Honda internet sales person and had worked out a really great deal for me to purchase a vehicle. I knew exactly what I wanted and needed to get a new car right away for a new job. This dealership strung me along for an entire weekend with different stories that ran me in circles and wasted the valuable and little amount of time I had. I knew the vehicle I wanted was available at Tracy Honda so I called on my own and spoke to Gordon. When I first called I was very frusterated and I told my story to Gordon and he apologized for what I had been through. He immediately addressed the vehicle I wanted and was very very nice and professional and most importantly, genuine. Exactly what I needed at this point. I was refreshed to find that he understood the point I was at and when I told him I would be there very soon to get the car he said okay. When I pulled up the car was sitting out front which I really thought was great because it showed me that he believed me and took me seriously. He meet me with a smile and the whole rest of the deal was effortless. Gordon has a geniuine personality and I felt very comfortable and I really appreciated this experience and I will recommend to others to go to Tracy Honda and especially to see Gordon. Thank you

We specifically dealt with Gordon (the internet sales manager)over the phone, because we wanted to avoid walking into a dealership cold. We had done a significant amount of research on the model (Ridgeline) prior to the call. Gordon was able to answer my questions about what was available in the state for the color that we were looking for, as well as discuss pricing. Our color wasn't available in the state except for one car in southern California. Gordon then mentioned that he had a used model with low mileage in our color. He described the car, and we were able to come to a price agreement over the phone. The next day, Russell showed us the car and provided a test drive. We found the car's condition to be as described. He helped us close the deal for the amount previously agreed to on the phone. After calling over a dozen dealers, Tracy Honda had the car that we wanted and closed the purchase for the price agreed to on the phone - and not a penny more. We found the staff to be friendly and knowledgable. We were in and out of the dealership in a minimum amount of time. Overall a very good experience.

I believe Phillip Herrera and the rest of the staff at Tracy Honda did a great job in assisting us and providing us with great customer service. I based their quality of work on their overall knowledge of the vehicles, financing, and any other questions we asked. Phillip was very friendly and proved to have one of the main qualities it takes to be in customer service, and that's patience. Although we couldn't quite agree on the price of the vehicles, does not mean we didn't get a great deal on the one we purchased. Then again, that's what negotiating is all about. Our sales consultant Matt Chapman was so good. He did not pressure us. My wife went out and looked at the different vehicles and decided on the Honda. She originally was going to get the Civic hybrid. We decided it was to small. We were all set to buy the CRV, but my wife felt it didn't give us the gas mileage we wanted. Matt was so patient, he then showed my wife and I the Accord. It gives us the comfort we wanted and the mileage. We could not be happier we love our new Accord.

My last Honda had over 94,000 miles on it, no problems at all. It was time to pass it on to my son and get a new one. The Tracy dealership is great - Phil Herrera did a great job. His manager made him leave us and go to a meeting in the middle of the sale, which was very weird, but Phil cut it short and really took great care of us. He programmed settings for me and explained everything very well.

Honda's sales rep (Nick Sandhu) was most curtious, easy to talk with, listened wellto comments and questions we had. He was also very patient with us, as we had made at least three (3) trips to his dealership. He was helpful in picking out a vehicle in which we might be interested. We did not seem either "pushed into buying a vehicle (which we ended up doing) or feel "rushed by him" because of the time involved. We have no problem recommendating Nick Sandhu to any of our friends who might be interested in buying a Honda product, in fact we would encourage them to contact Nick to be their sales person.

My buying experince with Tracy Honda was fantastic. I got my price quote through their web site and the price I was quoted for the car I was looking for the best in Northern California. I got price quotes from 10 different dealerships in Norther California and Tracy Honda's first offer beat everyone else's price by $500. No haggling or bartering was needed. And the best part was they had it in stock. When we arrived, filling out the paperwork took longer than expected because we had a trade-in), but once all that was done, we were on our way in our new car. My overall experience was very good and I would consider going back to this dealership in the future when I am looking for a car.

What an absolutely great experience...Hank was such a pleasure to work with!My husband and I had been searching for a used Honda Odyssey and had reecntly purchased a beautiful 2008 Touring edition from Hank on 3/7/11.The entire experience from driving up to the dealership, to speaking with the receptionist, to test driving and closing the deal was the best service experience we've ever had (no joke!).All of the staff members at the dealership were pleasant and friendly. Almost every Honda employee there greated us with a hello!Hank took my husband and I under his wing and showed us several different Odysseys that were available. He wasn't pushy at all, and matter of fact, really educated us on the features and functionalities that the different models offered--and also made the shopping experience fun and entertaining. He's such a comedian--and has plenty of stories to tell! We finally test drove and fell in love with a 2008 Black on Black Touring edition. Hank took the time to show us how to use the technology of the vehicle--which was great (compared to a recent terrible experience with another salesman at a different dealership).We sat down to talk financing and the process went smoothly. We ended up signing off on the paperwork with Sier in Finance(also pleasant to work with and not pushy!) and closed the deal.We ended up driving off with the vehicle and have been happy ever since.To our surprise, we received a package in the mail from Hank on Thursday with a neat print out of facts on "What happened the day you were born!," his business card, and a postcard to remind us to rate him on this website! Wonderful selection of vehicles- other dealerships had just 1 of the used Civic Hybrids I was looking for, but Tracy Honda had 6 that I could test drive. The car had a couple of issues which I wasn't aware of at the time, but which turned out to be minor when I had it re-checked. The price was a little high compared to other dealerships, and being a novice I never found an opening to negotiate the price, whereas other dealerships were more helpful in that regard. But overall, great car, great selection, I'd definitely recommend them!

We were sent out to Tracy Honda by our Meriwest CU representative to meet with Gordon. Gordon introduced us to some cars and let us drive 1 or 2. We were originally looking for a Civic, but based on our needs Gordon suggested we might want to also consider the Insight. Tracy Honda did not try all the usual sales techniques on us that we have seen so many times before. We did not have to deal with a low-level sales person who typically is a go-between the buyer and some big finance person in another back room. There were no sales games or sales techniques used on us. Instead, Gordon was open and honest and treated us like a business partner. I spent part of two days at the dealership with Joseph as we tried to decide on the used Odyssey which we eventually purchased. All my questions were answered. The only slight downside was the typical sales pitches even though we were resisting having to dicker for the price. All of the employees were very friendly and the facility is very pleasant. At the end of the day, we purchased the van and I think we will be very happy with it. I would definitely go back there to shop if I need another car.

Our salesman Nick was great and provided us with excellent service regarding our purchase of our new Honda Pilot. I have dealt with other salesmen from other car dealers in the past regarding my previous Civic purchase and I am usually reluctant to purchase a car upon my first impression. Phillip Herrera was an excellent salesman and a good person. He worked with us well, very personable and helpful. My good rating is because of him and if he wasn't there we might have left. Dealing with the dealership was more difficult and I had to fight to get a light bulb changed which should have been changed under their 150 point inspection. In my view unacceptable. They were a little petty. My overall rating was good considering the pettiness.

I had let the salesman know exactly what I wished to pay ahead of time. He had said that it was a doable price. When I go there the price was not on the paperwork as we had discussed, this was unacceptable to me. I was told about how there was very little profit...it was a high demand car...blah blah blah.I was there to purchase a vehicle, not play games. Internet sales is the way I like to deal. Agree on a price within a few emails...show up at the dealership and have the car detailed and ready to go. Just once over the car and double check the paperwork and sign and drive away. THATS how it should be. NO GAMES!

I had the pleasure of being helped by two top notch managers. Dan is who I first approached and he went and got the help of Chris. My alarm key had fallen in the toilet and I was unable to start my honda that was parked at Michaels Craft Store and the alarm kept going off. I walked over to Tracy Honda and went to the parts department where I was quickly approached by Dan. He looked up my part and because my honda is older the part is no longer available he tried a new battery to no avail. He went and got help from Chris who quickly said "Lets go take a look" and together with Dan drove me back over to my vehicle and, not kidding within seconds Chris had the alarm shut off. Gordon provided no non-sense service. We didn't want to hear any marketing dialog as we knew what we wanted and just needed to get to the price. There wasn't any haggling, just to the point. The car was ready when we were told it would be ready and we were out the door. Done! Now we are on the road enjoying our new (used) Honda Odyssey.

(my first car) They worked hard talking with my parents on the phone and hard when we arrived to make our needs satisfied. They welcomed us with open arms and were on there toes to help us out. We found a used Honda Odyssey online. It was after hours but called just in case someone answered. Salesman, Nick Sandhu, happened to answer and we made arrangements to see the Honda the next day. We, and our three children, loaded into our Pilot, drove to Tracy Honda, fell in love with the car and drove home in the roominess and luxury of our 2007 Odyssey. Nick Sandhu treated us, and our little ones, with such graciousness, we felt like part of a family. The General Manager demonstrated integrity in providing us with XM radio, as was advertised but missing, in the vehicle. I would never EVER go to this place to buy a car again. Everything the whole process from telling me I got approved for a car, then telling me a week later finance didnt go through. Becareful because they did that to me without a clear explanation as to what was going on. Even the sales guy (which i wont say any names because Im sure when they read this they will know Exactly who I am) couldn't explain why. I went in there just wanting to look at a used ACURA TL, and lied about the financing, as in they didnt find a lender, let me leave with the car then a week later made me return it. They financed me a BRAND NEW car, that was almost 10g's more than the used car, and approved me, but now I have a higher payment that I didn't want, and a car that I wasn't looking into. They were horrible. OH and watch out for the Finance Manager Sier, he added an extended warranty plus GAP without even going over it with me, and when I look at my papers later on I see it was on there. I called him to remove it, which it is removable, and he told me he was gonna add the total price which was $2800 back to the amount of my car.... WTH... it was HORRIBLE. Although Frank and the General Manager, I forgot his name, were both very nice and friendly when I went back to explain why I wanted my car back instead of this new car, (which they wouldn't give me), and now im stuck with a car from TRACY HONDA just waiting until I can at least re finance so that I dnt have to see a monthlhy statement from HONDA because the WHOLE experience from the day I decided to walk in there thinking I was going to get an ACURA TL, and then being screwed with a car I didn't come in for. They are just money hungry they are sales people and could give 2 $hits about anyone that walks into their lot.. which I WILL NEVER do again..So I would just forewarn you, dont be surprised if they called you a week later asking you to return the car after you signed all the paper work thinking everything is fine....!!!!!!

I am from Calgary, Alberta, in Canada. I found my 2007 Honda Accord Hybrid at Tracy Honda, and I was very pleased with the experience. I worked with Gordon Gooch, an internet sales specialist there - he and the sales manager were very knowledgeable with the process of selling to Canadians. All paperwork was in order on the first try, and I was able to submit my temporary registration and bill of sale to US Customs for clearance without incident. Gordon was very patient with all my questions about interior details, US configuration, US warranty and other details (like whether it had a block heater (no - got that done when I got back). I would recommend this dealership to Canadians looking for California Hondas.?

Overall I am very pleased with my dealings with Hank Klaren. The reason I directly contacted Hank was due to my previous experience with Hank in the previous years.There are 2 things I did not like and it has nothing to do with Hank and/or his work.1) I received a $500 gift certificate in the main from Tracy Honda. The information packet stated that it can be used for car buying as well as maintenance cost. I tried to use it during my purchase and was told that this car was 'not eligible'. Not very happy about it - since it was not explicitly listed as an exception. Seems like it was made up as we went along.2) I did not appreciate the hard sale in the finance manager office about extended warranty and lo-jack purchase. The sales pitch is that after 36k miles, major problem costs can be a big ticket item. I was hoping that Honda did not have to tell me that after 36k miles, I can expect these problems. This is one of the reason I went with Honda and not a domestic brand.

My wife and I drove to Tracy from Sacramento (60 miles) to view used Accords that we were considering buying after having seen on the Tracy Honda website. I had spoken with Gordon Gooch on the phone and arranged to meet at the Dealer. Gordon met us and proceeded to show us several used cars and let us test drive any that we wanted. He was very low pressure and easy to converse with. After a couple of hours of his time, we didn't see any used cars that we were particularly excited about. We then turned our attention to a new, 2010 Honda Accord sedan.Gordon again let us test drive a new Accord and we were impressed with the handling, styling and ammenities compared to the used Accords we had been looking at. Gordon gave us an offer which seemed very reasonable. The car was not in stock, so he offered to locate one and would let us know.We returned to Sacramento and Gordon contacted us later the following week, informing us he had located an Accord in the color and style we wanted. Despite the long distance from our home to the Dealership, because of Gordon's effort, knowledge of the vehicles, time spent with us and the fact we enjoyed working with him, we decided to purchase our Accord through Tracy Honda despite there being a local dealer much closer. Gordon arranged for our paperwork to be done electronically, qualified us for a car loan through Honda and had our car delivered to our house very painlessly. I needed to replace my Volvo and wanted a car that was good for the enviroment. I chose Honda and waited for a hybrid to appear on line. I traveled from Marin County to Tracy to purchase my car, which was delivered to me for no extra charge! Hank and the entire staff are courteous and went out of their way to make my consumer experience pleasant. I've continued to take my Honda there for major service, and the large booster battery was recently replaced at no charge (still under warranty). Thank you, Honda, Hank, and also the service employee who was very helpful (think his name was Steve, but you have it in your records).

Gordon Gooch was terrific. He was honest and quick to respond to any questions I had and was patient with me during my decision process. He was the reason I chose a Honda over Toyota. We bought 2 cars from this dealer in a 2 week span. We checked all the dealers in our area and found Tracy to be the most upfront. My youngest daughter researched and found the car she wanted. Spoke with Nick and went back a few times before deciding on the car of her choice. He was fair with the pricing and made the process very easy and stress free. I had purchased a new Civic EX back in 2004 from Tracy Honda and had a great experience so when my husband and I decided to look at Pilots, we went back to Tracy Honda. We were undecided between a new model and a used model so we were ready for a long afternoon weighing our options. We are very glad that we got Far as a salesperson. He was great! He didn't rush us or try to push us into making a purchase. Far showed us a variety of new and used Pilots and even went into the back area to get a used Pilot that we were interested in (and ended up purchasing). He was very personable, knowledgeable, and friendly. Next time we are in the market for a car, we will definitely be back to see Far! The only downside to the experience was the very long wait for one of the finance guys to see us to finish up the deal. After spending all afternoon looking at cars and negotiating, we were ready to finish up and head home. Other than that, we were very impressed with Tracy Honda and are loving our new (used) Pilot!

Hank Klaren was the sales person first contacted and made the final offer to convince me to purchase a new vehicle over a used one. He was not available when I went to make the purchase, and Russel Ybarra was the substitute. Hank was straightforward in giving me all the information and figures that I needed to make a proper evaluation. Russel did good in the follow through, and explained the operation of the car before we drove off. All in all, those two made me feel as if I had dealt with a responsible and responsive dealership. The only negative experience was with the finance officer. During the signing of papers, he appeared disturbed because I had asked him to revise the paperwork to use my full name, had a negative attitude when I declined his offer on extras he was trying to sell, and was rude in asking personal questions about my companion who was with me. The Overall Experience rating was downgraded solely because of the finance officer.

Bought a used Honda CRV. Delivered clean and in great shape. This is my 3rd CRV. I use the car in my business. The battery failed (not original equipment)a week or so later. Mark reimbursed me promptly and in full even though the warrantee excludes this item. His sales staff were not pushy and pleasant to deal with. i would return to buy another Honda from them.

I recently decided to purchase a new car and we were considering a Honda Civic along with other models. I was familiar with Tracy Honda as my wife and I had purchased a Honda Odyssey from this dealer about a year ago. We had a very good experience with the Honda Odyssey purchase at Tracy Honda, so once we decided on the Honda Civic, we contacted Tracy Honda about pricing and availability of new and used Honda Civics. In order to help our decision process as to purchasing a new or used Honda Civic, as an initial matter, our contact at Tracy Honda directed us to their website so that we could immediately review and consider their current inventory of used Hondas, pricing vs. mileage etc. (We live about 45 minutes away and couldn't get to the dealership until the weekend). Annette followed up with us to answer any questions we had regarding their used car inventory and to provide pricing on a new Honda. We had done some price shopping on the internet and Tracy Honda's price for a new Honda Civic was right in line with what we were finding at other Honda dealerships. Once we agreed to the purchase, the rest of transaction was extremely easy. We provided some basic information as to how the car was to be registered, insurance information, etc. and Annette took care of the rest. We arrived at the dealership to pick up the car and the paperwork took about 15 minutes! The car was washed and all ready to go. We have never before had such an easy and pleasant experience buying a car. If our next car purchase is a Honda, we will definitely go back to Tracy Honda.

They would not accept my Capital One (Blue no restrictions) Check. They tried to attach a backup loan just in case Capital One didn't pay them. He acted like the Credit Application he was trying to get me to fill out was for DMV registration. He said they have to prove my identity. What a bunch of SCAMMERS.
