As mentioned earlier, this is my 4th Genesis. The quality, finish, and performance has been consistent on all of these vehicles. I found the gas mileage excellent for such a large auto. It provides excellent comfort on long trips as well as short hops in the city. I will continue purchasing Genesis' as long as I can afford it.

Awesome purchasing experience. I went in as a educated consumer (knew my trade value, etc.) and no games were played. In 15 minutes the deal was done. I really appreciated that! As for the facility, the A/C was broken - felt bad for the employees - and the car lot and building need upgrades.

The sales rep, Andy, was very friendly, polite and professional. He greeted me in a timely manor, answered all of my questions including setting up my new car and all of my financing/leasing options. The entire staff was incredibly helpful the entire process. They made sure to clean the car and fill the tank before I took it home. I chose to keep my old car and considering I didnt have someone to help me drive both vehicles home they offered a shuttle to come pick me up.. I live in Niagara Falls, about 40 miles from their location. Im very pleased with Transittowne. Definitely recommending them to everyone i know!

The new 2016 Sonata had any improvements from the last Sonata (2006) I owned. It has more room and the gas mileage is better. The ride is better and is more quiet. I am glad I picked the Sonata over the Toyota Camary.

I came in to see if it was possible to get a new leased vehicle two months before my lease was up. Basically I was just looking at first to determine if there were any Sonatas at the dealer that appealed to me. I did see a few and test drove both a basic model and a sport model. While I liked the ride of each vehicle the basic was too basic for the price they quoted me. The features of the sport were more appealing and met my needs for the most part. However, the price quoted on that model did not appeal to me. I responded to the salesperson that I was just looking anyway and I had two months to make up my mind. When asked what price would work for me, I gave them a price and within five minutes the sales rep shook my hand and said congratulations we have a deal. In short, that is how I got my new car--quickly and hassle free.

Will never do business with them again. Didn't take the time to make the deal right. I just explained in a previous question what happened. Left there feeling lied to and taken advantage when they are the ones who called and offered to replace my totaled car for the original deal at $219 to end up at $249 when they said it was an upgrade and turned out to be the same car and I was stuck with a color I didn't want because there were only 3 choices. I had to turn my rental car in and I had to have transportation so I had no time to start the process somewhere else.

Great price and great car. The staff was polite and quick to help. However, after leaving, I found a promotion for college graduates who obtained their degree within the last 3 years that I was not offered despite mentioning that I had graduate in May 2014. The staff asserted emphatically that they ask everyone whether they're young or 85, but my dad repeated that they did not ask him either when he inquired about leasing the same vehicle.

Well to start things off Mark Lacey was an outstanding sales person. This is the second car we have leased from him and because he is a very friendly person NOT pushy. This is the reason I called him when in need of another car. I told him what i was interested in and he made it work. As for TRANSITOWNE HYUNDAI they are a good house to deal with because I had taken a base Genesis with 8 speed trany and after getting home with it my wife asked why the LED lights were amber. Looked all through the manual and found nothing stating how to make them white. I then called Mark and he asked for me to bring it in so they could look at it. They did just that, 4 salesmen 2 service writers and mechanics looked and didn't know why they were amber. After calling Hyundai they got the answer and they were told that is the way the base model comes.Needless to say I don't have that car and TRANSITOWNE HYUNDAI worked it out so I got a upgraded model with white LEDS. All of the adds show white LEDS and why would Hyundai go to a bogus change of lighting on a $40,000 base model. If I would have had to keep that car you would have lost a future customer. I love my Genesis and I as a previous BMW 740il owner commend the workman ship. Thanks again to TRANSITOWNE HYUNDAI for making this work. I maybe leasing but had no chance of dealing with price for one. I was told I would get a remote starter included in the price of the lease price from Brad and he never pass it on to the financial person so after the end of the close of the deal with Brad he came back and told me I had to pay $150.00 which is half the cost. So of course I am not happy now as I have to spend money that I should not have too. Brad was not friendly with us at all, it was like he just wanted to get the deal done and out of the way. Other salespeople were more friendlier towards us. Brad seemed like he was more occupied on other things. Never really chatted with us unless it was over the deal of the vehicle.

I bought my 2012 Hyundai Elantra in 2011 and have been going to Transitowne Hyundai for oil changes/routine maintenance/etc ever since. The service has never really been remarkable, and they've never gone overboard with customer service in the past. However, this past Monday and then today was the worst and last experience I've had with them. On Monday I showed up for my 10am appt (I had called a few wks prior to the appt and was told that day was "wide open"). Immediately the guy said "it's going to be an hour and a half wait, is that okay? We are backed up" as he gestured to a bunch of keys in the background. I said "you won't even start the work until then? Even for a 10am appt for an oil change?" "Nope." He said. So, I decided to reschedule for 10am Weds (today). So much for customer appreciation and doing everything in your power to make things right! You'd think when I showed up today the guy (who was in the room on Monday, watching my interaction with the other guy) would have remembered me. He didn't of course. He said "there are two ahead of you, won't be too long." I waited until 11:30am before asking them how much longer... There was absolutely no reason for the delay (I was the only one in the waiting room for awhile!). He said "5 more minutes." 15 minutes later my car was finished. As soon as the mechanic came in with the keys, the guy behind the counter said "just give her her keys." No apology. No explanation. Nothing. And, I made sure I was very polite with all of my interactions- no need for hostility. I am very disappointed in this experience. My husband bought his Subaru at Northtown and they treat him like royalty for every interaction he has with them. They go above and beyond with making sure he is satisfied and also offer discounts and freebies to other local businesses all the time. I was thinking about trading in my car with Transitowne Hyundai for a Santa Fe...but not anymore! I will be taking my business elsewhere. They lost a good customer!

My husband and I walked into Transitowne looking for a second car so I could go to work. Our credit is not perfect, so we were not overly particular. We just needed a car that would be dependable. We provided all of the required information, then we went to run some errands, while the finance department worked on the financing. Gina called a few hours later with good news. The finance agent had worked out the financing so that we could afford the Santa Fe we really wanted. Gina took care of everything, which is something we were not used to. In the past, most dealers pushed much of the work, like adding the car to our insurance, on us. When all was said and done, we were so pleased with the service we received. Gina made the entire experience positive and painless. We are very happy with our Santa Fe, and will definitely give Transitowne and Gina our business in the future.

my daughter tried to lease a car through Hyundai, she went through the process and to her excitement agreed to a deal. The salesman took her first payment and set up a day to pick up her new car. Only to be contacted 4 days before she was to pick it up and be told they could no longer give her the deal. My 20 yr old daughter was devastated to learn that her first new car was being taken from her. Being her father I called to find out what was going on, to be told that somehow that my daughters credit score dropped 50 pts. After talking to a supervisor i'm still not sure how they could go back on a deal that my daughter shook on and paid the first payment on. Needless to say that they ruined my daughters first experience of buying her own new car. I sure won't be buying any vehicles form transitowne anymore.

When we first came in last year to look around we met Andy Macdonald. He showed us a couple of Outlander Sports. We were not ready to buy, but he took his time with us. I originally came in for service last week. After 3 long days of coming back and forth to try and get my car to make the same clicking noise. The mechanic by the name of Jerry was very patient and understanding. He went over the car the first day and couldn't find the issue. The second day he went for a ride with me and heard the noise. The third day he went for a ride with another mechanic to see if they could find the issue together. The service advisor by the name of Lee was always super nice and helpful. Because of the amazing service I will stay faithful to this dealership. When I was in for service I also had a issue with my blue link system being locked up by the previous dealership that I bought the car from. I tried to call the dealership I bought this car from and no one would ever return my calls. I even tried calling the Hyundai customer service and the lady on the phone couldn't even help me unlock it. While I was in for service a gentleman by the name of Nelson from sales walked in. Nelson promised he would keep me updated on evey step of the way with trying to get this issue resolved. He kept his word and made sure to call me everyday to let me know what the status was. Seeing that I didn't even buy the car from him or this dealership, I was totally blown away. I couldn't be happier that the issue with my blue link is finally fixed! I would recommend these men to anyone. Service and sales. I can definitely say that my next vehicle will be purchased from Nelson because of the excellent customer service and the fact that he went above and beyond for me! I would recommend this place to everyone!

They ripped me off on buying a new car added hidden feed that I wasn't aware of. Then they ripped me off on my trade in. The service department is very rude and unprofessional. I purchased an SUV almost a year ago, I love my SUV but dealing with these people is just a pain. I took it into the service shop to have a few issues looked at, the gentlemen doing check ins that day told me I needed my warranty information, I told him I did not have it and he said I must have it, I told him I gave it to a person I was dealing with to fix an issue I had aftter purchasing the suv and I had talked to this person several times and apparently all my paper work vanished into thin air. I only knew who the warranty was through. I was quoted around $1,200 to do the work. None of the work was covered under warranty, so I told the gentleman in the service area I will be taking it to my personal mechanic, at this point the gentleman checking me out started to have major attitude. I called my mechanic and took it down to him and I asked what was wrong with it and he said absolutely nothing! During the time I was not driving my SUV until I had it fixed I called one of the offices and talked to the finance guy about my paper work situation and he said there is no reason my paper work should not be in an office somewhere, so he told me to call the Hyundai office and talk to that finance guy, so I called 2 weeks ago with no response. This whole experience has not at all been worth the hassle and I will never do business with them again, not even the free oil change.

I Had written 2 Separate emails to this facility requesting information on the lease options of a vehicle and after the first email sent I received a phone call from one of the employees saying they would get me the information later that day for me. I never heard anything from them so I proceeded to write another email and received one from the service manager stating their wonderful customer service so I again proceeded to tell him what I was interested in and never heard anything about the vehicle so clearly they didn't want my business. A simple email stating that they couldn't have given me the information that I had wanted would have been wonderful but clearly they couldn't even take the time to do that for a customer.

I went to transitowne just to browse, I had no intention on buying that day. Within 30 minutes I found myself in love with a car. Honestly it was so hard to find a favorite since there was so much of a variety. When I found the one, Mack Farr was there helping me the whole way through. I'm young, and a girl, so I had no idea what I was doing. Mack made the process so smooth, fast and easy. He explained everything to me step by step so that I understood what was going on. I felt so informed and comfortable and I trusted Mack and I wasn't let down. Not to mention the facility was friendly and welcoming. It starts and ends with customer service. I initially found the product I was interested in on line, and made a phone call to speak with a sales representative. The call was answered promptly, and transferred to Nelson Eagle. He was informative, polite, and when he said he was going to do something, he followed through. It was phenomenal to have that with a car buying experience. He was able to work with my budget, get me where I needed to be and represented the dealership well. I am more than happy with the product, even when about three days after the fact, the check engine light came on. I called Nelson to see what could be done as well as the service department. The Jeep was brought back immediately and serviced. The only hiccup was that there was a break down in communication between service and my father who was waiting all day for the Jeep; he would have used his time a bit more effectively knowing the eta of the Jeeps repairs. This was minor in the grand scheme of things though as again the customer service from the service department and the salesman's willingness to help the overall process along---helping even after the sale--more than made up for it. Lastly, Nelson followed up with me after the repairs to make sure my Jeep was running smooth. Thanks for making my buying experience a good one. I love my jeep, and I am very happy with my purchase.

This is second time I bought a Hyundai from transittowne and they make the buying experience a pleasure and show genuine interest in customer. I and my pregnant wife were haggling with other brands/dealers for few weeks but to no avail. I wanted to try some brand besides hyundai. But I am now glad I didn't. After couple of weeks of looking around with other dealers, we decided to try Transittowne again and we are glad we did. Our son is in the Military and was looking at the Veloster; my husband and I stopped at Transitowne to inquire about rebates or incentives he may qualify for. Cory Maryniewski came right out, welcomed us, & answered all our questions. We found and purchased a 2013 leftover on the lot that same day! Our purchase may have been a little more challenging for some because our son is out of state and paperwork had to be mailed or faxed to and from. Cory handled everything efficiently!! Leased a vehicle from this dealership. Can honestly say the leasing process went ok, but I experienced a problem with the service department that ruins my overall experience. It only takes one bad experience to erase any good experiences that you have in anything that you may do. My problem is that my car only has a little over 11,000 miles on it, and in the 3 times I've taken it in to Transitowne for service no one has ever mentioned a tire rotation being needed. Any other service department I've taken a car to in the past has always recommended when a tire rotation is necessary, but not this one. Needless to say now I need two new tires because the front two are shot and the back two are brand new. While $300 might not seem like a lot of money to some people it is for those of us who work check to check to make ends meet. It sure would have been nice had Transitowne taken the responsibility and covered the cost for two new tires to keep their customers happy. I realize I could have asked in the past about a tire rotation, but it honestly slipped my mind because I'm so used to service departments checking and being proactive when it comes to these general maintenance issues. So because of this bad experience I will never return to Transitowne for anything, and I would not recommend them to any of my friends, family, or colleagues for anything at all especially service.

My son and I were looking for used cars and came across Transitowne Hyundai in the late evening hours at the end of the summer. Paul Jones met with us as he was leaving for the night and yet he was very accommodating and thorough. He suggested a recent trade in being a 2006 Hyundai Sonata. We drove it and compared it to the close to 100 cars we had looked at during the week. Paul worked out a very fair deal for the car with us and we were very happy with the transaction and process at Transitowne. All persons that we dealt with were friendly and efficient. We were and have been offered many deals on service that we have not been able to follow up on yet due to my son living in the Adirondacks since we purchased the car. He has put 17,000 miles on the car. Besides normal maintenance it has performed well as a well taken car of Hyundai will. We have received a recall for a rear cross member and just called on short notice and Lee at service was very accommodating to fit the service call in within 3 days. Brian Thompson

Very disappointed in the service department. misdiagnosed a major engine problem, gave misleading information about brakes that did not need to be changed yet. will charge you a 50.00 fee to just look at a your vehicle for a potential problem. was sold a car and the car needed 4 new tires within 9 months of buying!!

My buying experience at transitowne was extremely good. The staff was very helpful and patient. The last dealership I bought a car from took over 2 hours to finalize my purchase. At transitowne I was out in under an hour and they were very understanding of my tight time schedule. Nelson was very attentive to answering phone calls and any questions my mom or I had about the car. Overall I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new or used car.

Saw a car advertised on cars.com and went to this dealer to look at it. Saw the car but it was being worked on in the body shop. Offered to put a deposit down on it but the manager said that was unnecessary. The salesman said he would call me as soon as it was out of the body shop. Three days later he called and said the car was completed but I could not buy it because the manager sold it to a family member. A second conversation with the salesman revealed that someone with an appointment saw the car just as it was coming out of the body shop and immediately bought it. DONT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP.

Let's face it, car shopping can be a real hassle and it seems you can never get a straight answer from most of the salespeople you work with. So imagine how surprised I was to meet a salesperson who was pleasant, knowledgeable and not "pushy". Her name is Ashley Parker and she is by far the best salesperson I have ever worked with. If you are an older person, like myself, Ashley will patiently and painlessly walk you through the car buying process. I just returned from making a lease deal at Transitown Hyundai. I worked with Nelson Eagle who was great through the whole process. I had specific criteria I was looking for in a lease and Nelson made it happen. He was quick to return calls and emails, answered all of my questions and beat the deal that I was offered by another dealership. He promptly had me driving away with my new lease (that had everything I was looking for) hours after the test drive. I recommend this dealership and the salesman Nelson Eagle.

I was working with Gina Kanaley on purchasing a vehicle that was more suitable and comfortable for me than the Nissan Altima I purchased 4 months earlier. Gina was incredibly helpful and patient. She let me do 24 hour test drives with several different cars until I found the car that was right for me. She was very personable and did not trying pushing anything on me. I finally found the car that was right for me and Gina and the folks at Transitowne Hyundai did a fabulous job getting a great APR for me, even though initially it looked like it was going to be very hard to do. This was the ideal car shopping experience and I would recommend Gina and Transitowne to anybody looking to purchase a car.

3 years ago my husband and I leased Sonata's from Brad at Transitown Hyundi.We were so pleased with the professionalism and the time Brad spent with us that when it was time to end the lease Brad was the first person we thought of to discuss leasing another Sonata. I did plenty of research on my purchase at several dealerships. I was well versed on the games the dealers play. The vehicles were already sticker priced below the other dealers and their initial offer was lower than the other dealers. Not to mention I got a better price through negotiation. I would recommend just starting at transit towne.

I recently purchased a new Hyundai Sonata from Transitowne Hyundai. After consulting with my sales man (Paul) I opted for the new Sonata. I went to purchase an Elantra, but the larger size and more comfortable ride of the Sonata sold me.And the price was even lower for the Sonata. Go Figure!! Thank you for the sugestion Paul!! Bought a 2011 Sonata Turbo. Did not notice tires were frayed and rims were chipped. Service staff asked it I looked at the car before buying it. Said it would pass inspection. Said I could get a mechanic that would say it would not. Said they would challenge it at DVM. Told me I should have looked more closley. Lets say I will not go back there for service. BUYER BEWARE!!!
