I just purchased a Subaru Forester. The sales staff actually allowed me to look around before approaching me. And didn’t try to up sell me when I told him I knew what I wanted. He stayed within my budget range and got me into exact Subaru I wanted. Very friendly. I was in my car the next day. Best car buying experience by far. I’ll definitely be sending my family to try city. Anthony and Matt were exceptional and worked fast and efficiently. I highly recommend them to anyone serious about owning a Subaru.

I went in to Tri-City just wanting to test drive a couple cars where my lease was up soon and I was helped by Craig Enslin. He was fantastic!!! I mean not pushy at all and that is what I loved about this dealership. I told Craig what I wanted in a car and he found my my 2016 Subaru Crosstreck :) and he even had it in a manual witch I wasn't sure if they would have. I would recommend this dealership to anyone!

I had an older vehicle that was in great shape but had 130k miles on it. Melissa got me set up with an only slightly used Crosstrek with low miles and great coverage and I got top dollar for my trade. She was available to answer questions when I needed answers... they're not just a 9-5 shop. Everyone there is extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to help with even the smallest thing. Once I selected the vehicle I wanted, they had driving off the lot in under an hour.

I got my certified pre-owned Forester from Tri-City! They were such a great help, I didn't feel pressured to buy anything right away. They provided me with great customer service (Jeremy was my car dealer) and I couldn't be more happy with my purchase. They are so reasonably priced there as well. My fiance is really big on cars and I'm not to familiar but they made me feel very informed when I purchased my car. If you go to tri-city, ask for Jeremy! He was fabulous to work with!!

Where do I start... I found myself looking for a new Suburu tribeca since mine had more then 200k miles on her. After searching many websites I came across Tri city Suburu and found the one! The next day I called and spoke to Kathleen and told her what I was looking for, and that it was my only day off and that I was bringing in a one year old so I couldn't be there all day!! She was so nice and said they welcome all kids and dogs to:) When we arrived we were greeted by Craig our salesman, he was awesome! The car was beautifully detailed just like the photo and after a quick test drive , it was perfect. The finance guys were great, no pressures and I got a great rate and fair trade value. I can't say enough, everyone was fantastic!!! Thank you Craig and Team Tri-City!

Where do I begin...First of all my sales consultant, Jeremy, was top of the line. He wasn't forceful with his approach and most importantly he listened to my needs/wants. As far as service goes -- I have been in twice for oil changes. They get me in and out in no time. Prices are reasonable and they're honest. Time is money and they value that.

Leasing a 2016 Crostrek and the entire transaction went very smoothly. No pressure from our salesman James Kearns. They let us take the car overnight for a longer test drive, increased the mileage so leasing made sense for us, even connected our phones to the car through Bluetooth. Definitely recommend Tri City Subaru!

Recently moved to Somersworth and have been servicing two vehicles here for a year, just traded one in for a newer model and I'm happy to report that their sales experience is as good as their service. Very knowledgeable without being pedantic, very supportive without being pushy. Marcus Katkin my sales person was excellent! He answered my questions, pointed out different things on my test drive. When I decided to lease an Outback 2017 it was a very pleasant ,stress free experience. It did not take any time at all to come to agreeable terms. When it came to pick it up my new car it was a very efficient procedure. The best part was getting into it the first time!Marcus explained EVERYTHING from rear to front. He was very patient and I didn't feel rushed at all. Everyone I met in the dealership were friendly from sales to service people. My husband and I came in knowing what we wanted after having visited a few dealerships before Tri City, but couldn't find a price we could work with. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Marcus who cut through all the usual red tape and helped us get a deal we were both happy with. We drove off the lot with a car that day! I can't say enough great things about the staff here. Everyone was extremely polite, honest, thorough, and helpful. Marcus in particular, though, was a gem. He showed us every (and I mean every) detail in the car and made us feel like we were getting a good and fair deal. I had just totaled my Subaru Impreza in a car accident and knew that I wanted to replace it with another Subaru Impreza because I loved the first one so much. Although I had purchased my first one on another state, this dealer came highly recommended to me, so I decided to check them out. The recommendation given to me was absolutely correct. I worked mostly with Jeremy, who from the moment he met me, offered me superb customer service and made sure that every question I had was answered. All my financial questions and paperwork were handled efficiently and painlessly by Matt, who also patiently answered any and all of my questions. Although this was my first leasing experience, Jeremy and Matt made the experience painless and enjoyable, and I now have a car that I absolutely love.

I recently moved from Texas and this was my 3rd experience in buying a car from dealer. And, this was the best experience so far compared to my previous two dealers in Texas. Marcus Katkin gave the best customer service. There was no any pressure put on me while going through the cars. Everything was smooth from start to finish and he made me feel like I was having conversation with a close friend. I was surprised that Marcus waited until the deal was done(it was already late) to walk me through all the minute features my new legacy had. None of my previous dealer did that. Also, as per my research(before and after purchase), looks like I got a very good deal on my Limited edition Legacy. I am yet to see how the quality of repairs is offered from the dealer and I will review on that later. But, apart from that everything is 5 stars. I highly recommend this dealer. Ask for Marcus, he will give you the best customer service.

Both my wife and I have recently purchased our first Subaru. The salesperson, Melissa was very knowledgeable , friendly, low pressure, and expressed a love of cars. After two test drives and after asking a ton of questions, we purchased a new Outback. The car arrived at the Dealership before the estimated time of arrival and was presented to us in spotless condition. I had read reviews of the 2016 Subaru Legacy in Consumer Reports magazine and was interested in purchasing an Outback. The salesperson was low pressure and extremely informative. He answered all of our numerous questions and demonstrated for us many of the car's features. The price was fair as was the amount they allocated for our 9 year old trade. I had checked various sites online and all of the numbers were reasonable. The cost of the new car was below the mean and the value awarded for the old car, above. I would happily buy another car from Tri-City.

I've previously purchased vehicles from a different Subaru dealership closer to the seacoast and had a less than pleasant experience. When I came to Tri-City Subaru in Somersworth I was completely frustrated with car shopping in general and was close to giving up. Jeremy was there to help assist and take my discomfort in the process and turn it into a good time. I recently purchased my 4th Subaru Forester (about my 12th Subaru) from Tri-City Subaru. I have always had excellent service at this dealership so did not hesitate to go back. My usual Salesperson recently retired and I was a little disappointed because I was not sure I would have the same customer service. A new member of their team, Jeremy, turned out to be wonderful. He was very helpful in finding answers to all my questions. He made sure I knew about all new details of this Forester and was very patient. After checking out the dealership's inventory on-line, I made an appointment for a test drive of a 2016 Forester that had the options I wanted. When I arrived at the dealership, Marcus Katkin went over the features of the car and answered all of my initial questions before the test drive. I was happy to be able to select the route and drive the car on roads I routinely use. I also appreciated that Marcus keep quiet during the test drive (unless I asked him a specific question) so that I could focus on the car features of most importance to me. When we got back to the dealership, I agreed to have Marcus run the numbers regarding the cost of the car, but we left it at that since I was also considering a competitor's model. Once I decided on pursuing the Forester, I sent Marcus several e-mails with followup questions on a busy Saturday. He got back to me each time and by the end of the day we had reached a deal. On the day I picked up the car, Matt Dugal (finance) slowly and thoroughly explained each paper that needed to be signed and answered the questions I asked to my satisfaction. Before I drove the car off the lot, Marcus reviewed each of the car features with me as a reminder of how they work. This is the second car (both Foresters) I have purchased from Tri-City Subaru. This dealership definitely has a customer centered, low pressure approach to selling cars.

I have been bringing my cars to Tri-City for eight (nine?) years, back before I even had a Subaru. My entire family has Subarus and brings them to Tri-City. I got a Legacy five years ago that I always brought here. I am very picky with who I let touch my cars. This is the only dealership I will bring my car to. The service department is great! I just bought a new Crosstrek on Saturday. It was the first time I've bought a car from a dealership so I wasn't sure what to expect. I went in a couple months ago to look at a Crosstrek and test drive one. I talked to Matt Dugal, the finance manager, about the Crosstrek and the options when I was deciding what I wanted. He was the one who helped me pick the perfect car and get everything set up for when it arrived. The day I went in to purchase it, I did the paperwork with Matt and the salesman, Marcus, showed me the car before I took it home. Both Matt and Marcus were very helpful and made the buying process fast and easy! I can definitely say my first time buying experience went extremely well and I am very satisfied!

I will start off saying first . That I am a Subaru fan for life. I have owned 4 of them form when I first got my permit to drive. A 1982 Dl station wagon. Ran that little car until it could pass inspection any more. A good 5yrs. Than I picked up a 1986 Gl wagon as my second car. Drove that car for a good 3yrs. My third Subaru was the longest. A 1993 Subaru Legacy sedan. A good 12yrs. With 293,000 miles. But the Maine winters really did a number on it. So I moved on to a 2003 Outback the second longest owned car I had. But it was showing it was time to move on. I really never ever bought brand new cars. All have been used vehicles. So one Saturday afternoon I stopped at Tir-city Subaru and poked around after doing a car search on line. Not sure what I wanted for a car. And thats how I met Marcus Katkin. So we went out and looked at the models. And when he asked which one I would like to test drive first. I went right to the 2016 outback first. I was very drawn to it. I loved it. But I did not go home with it right away. I went back and had my 03 looked at by the service department and a bit later the news wasn't good. I thank them for looking at it. And I know that I had to start looking. Later that afternoon I called Marcus and said I want the 2016 outback I knew it was the right choice. I kinda think Marcus knew that was going to be the one. Had it cleaned and washed before I returned later that afternoon. Marcus was very knowledgeable on very thing in and outside of the car. Showed how things worked and made feel very comfortable driving it home. In my very first brand new vehicle ever. And made feel very comfortable in bring in my 2016 in for service. When needed or as needed. Awesome job Marcus !!!! As well as everyone there. Very Polite and Pleasant and very Friendly and a every hard working staff all around. I hope this helps to anyone that is looking into getting a Subaru. Give Tri-city subaru a shot.

Searching for a low mileage STI, ended here at Tri City Subaru. even taking in the distance for this purchase of being in Colorado, they were able to provide me with a Great Vehicle , (year old low miles), at a price that allowed me to freight my car to Colorado. this is Subaru number 7 for us. Our first 5 were bought here at Tri City, Number 6 was at another dealer, not long after our purchase of # 6 we decided the staff at Tri City were more customer friendly and our next one would be from Tri City. Ron Lessard met us at the door with a giant smile that only he can produce. We did not have our trade in with us as we were only thinking about trading. He answered all our questions and never made us feel like we were taking up and wasting his time with no intention of making a purchase. After several minutes with him we found out that we lived next to his uncle and we knew his parents. Our second visit we had our trade with us, we knew what we wanted but it was not on the lot. There was absolutely no pressure from Ron to buy something from the lot. Ron said they could get whatever vehicle we wanted, just give them a couple weeks. Andrew Cyr the general sales manager came out of his office to meet and speak with us. something that did not happen at dealer # 6. After two minutes of being greeted by Ron Lessard, my salesman, I knew I would be buying my next car here. Ron did not try to keep me on the lot as some "salesy" types do. He contacted me just enough to let me know he wanted to help and earn my business. He offered to let me keep the car overnight so the "wifey" could look at it. He also made the buying process easy as he understood what I had for a budget and never tried to upset me. He was all about creating a relationship and I was grateful for that. We had a very good experience with the salesperson when we looked at and test drove the car. We had no problem securing financing however the finance woman (Christine) was rude, condescending and unprofessional. She did not like the fact that I asked questions about what I was signing and at one point she got so frustrated because I was trying to read the paperwork she stormed out and returned reeking of cigarette smoke. When we refused gap insurance and additional warranties she acted like we were morons and the had no further pretense of trying to be polite. We love the car and intend to buy another Subaru within a year but will go to a different dealership to do so

I was very surprised when they came and showed me the price KBB showed for my trade, then they topped it with $1K over price. that was after they dropped the purchased car by $2k I realized it is just on paper, but no other dealer would even take in consideration the KBB price.

After spending hours on line reviewing dealerships and vehicles I narrowed my search and headed out to Tri-City Subaru of Somersworth. With my mind made up as to which vehicle I wanted, I was curious if they were going to be able to place me into the drivers seat of my future set of wheels. I was then introduced to Jim Kearns to help me on my quest, he was very knowledgable,straightforward and he listened to me...something I haven't experienced in a long time. He never did try to sell me anything that I wasn't interested in. The test drive was great as he informed me of the all the features that came with the vehicle, and he answered all my questions. We then discussed the financing aspect of the purchase, when I left there was no pressure put upon me at all. Within two days I was back to pick up my 2012 Forester...With a full tank of gas,which I was not expecting. The paperwork was over with in no time thanks to Jim getting it done on his end. Jim went the extra yard after all the papers were signed, he took time to show me how to use the Bluetooth feature which came with the Forester...he reminded me about the distracted driving laws which are about to go into affect July 1st. Tri-City Subaru will always have me as a customer as long as there are employees like Jim Kearns working there.

We live in Manchester, NH BUT chose to buy our 2015 Outback Ltd from Joe and Marcus at Tri-City several weeks ago. Why? We went to Manchester Subaru and were treated poorly indeed. No car to sit in or test drive, no brochures and a general "I'm just too busy to talk to you" attitude. Then, when we started our shopping in earnest via the web, Manchester responded with what sounded like a fair deal but then applied some verbal pressure in the manner of "...c,mon, let's do this deal TODAY!" which is a total turnoff to us.......contacted TriCity via email and the exact opposite including a very aggressive deal and lots of info that even former Subaru owners like us did not know, including very specific info on prices. Cannot recommend Tri-City and Joe/Marcus more highly. Worth a 45 minute drive to see them.

I arrived at the dealership and was walking the front line when I was greeted by one of the sales staff, Peter Collins. He was very casual and friendly and we began to chat about the product line, which I had no overall experience on. The car was really for my wife, which I had no idea as to what model she was interested in. She was at work and her instructions for me was to "find a good deal on a Subaru". Pete was great to talk with as I had no product knowledge on them. So, after several phone calls to the wife, photo's and texts, I found a car she was totally against lol. She, of course, is very practical to needs and price (sadly I'm a bit opposite). As Pete and I were working on a solution she spotted a car on their website and Pete set up an appointment for her and I to view it. We drove it, she liked it, and we agreed to buy it. Pete was awesome, friendly, open, and honest. He answered all our questions and made to purchasing experience so easy. Also, Ben in the F&I office was great too. He put everything together for us to get great financing, even making sure the extended warranty fit our realistic needs. No one over sold us and they did ALL the work for us! Great job guys, there's not a lot of decent dealers out there and it great you are there in the community! Thank you!

My visit with Tri-City Subaru was an all around great experience. After having visited a Nissan dealership the day before, spending 3 hours and 4 different people trying to convince me to buy a vehicle just because I walked on their lot, the Subaru dealership was a breath of fresh air. From the moment I walked on, the customer service (Marc Miller) was nothing short of perfect. No pressure, helpful, courteous and respectful. He told me his name, showed me the locations of all the vehicles and told me if there was anything he could do to help to let him know. Unlike previous dealerships where salesmen follow you and not just let you casually browse. After a few minutes I decided I wanted to test drive and Marc was right there to help. On the test drive, he explained all the features of the current car, and what else was available and knew how the technology worked, both in the car and under the hood...being an engineer I was impressed that my questions got answered without hesitation and satisfied that I didn't leave with unanswered questions, regardless if it was a typical question or not. After the test drive and the great customer service, I was sold. There was one car with all the features I wanted on it's way in, they held it and I picked it up the day it arrived. When I pulled in, there was my new car waiting for me. Again Marc reviewed all the features, we took the car for another drive and I signed. I couldn't have asked for a better experience...and the car? The XV Crosstrek...it's an incredible car. I'm getting roughly 10 mpg more than my previous car, the adaptive cruise control is an absolutely fantastic technology coupled with the CV Transmission. I got the fully loaded version and I'm happy I did, the Eyesight system is great, the controls intuitive and as much as I would hate to see snow after this past winter, I'm looking forward to driving this car in the snow. If I could give this total experience more than 5 starts I would. Car dealerships and their sales staff shouldn't have to pressure you to buy their car, the cars value proposition should sell itself and as such respect, courtesy, and knowledge is what I would expect out of the staff. Tri-City Subaru hands down is a great place to shop and I would recommend I to anyone looking for a pressure free car buying experience with knowledgeable staff.

Have been researching new cars for a while now. I visited one dealer and called two other dealerships to test drive and locate the exact car I wanted. No one had the exact car I wanted, the test drive dealership made it sound as if I'd be lucky to ever find a match, the other two were willing to search but preferred I order a 2016 model and wait another 3-4 months. Fortunately I then visited Tri-City based upon a friends recommendation and even more fortunately I was put in touch with Matt Dugal. Matt sincerely listened to my wants/needs and the first thing out of his mouth was "we don't have an exact match on the lot, but can do a dealer swap and have your car here within 2-3 days on average". Within minutes they found several matches in New England and assured me that they had located something that would make me happy. I placed a deposit and headed home. Ten minutes after my leaving Matt called and informed me the car was on its way and would be ready for me to pick up in the morning. I never once felt like he was pressured to do anything more than to make sure everyone got a fair deal all around. The next morning my car was there waiting, the value they placed on my trade was very fair to all parties and Matt spent a great amount of time with me going over all the features of my new car. Despite the inevitable learning curve he wanted to make sure I was completely comfortable with the car and answered all my questions. I was extremely impressed with Matt, the Sales Manager, Service Reps and everyone I met. If their service is as good as their sales side I'm going to be a very happy long term customer. I would definitely recommend the dealership and most certainly Matt Dugal. He'll treat you with respect and integrity.

My husband and I went up to look at a vehicle recently. Our vehicle is in prime condition and they offered us way below what we know what it is worth. The salesman was scratching his head half the time although he was nice he was clueless as to how to do his job. He had to go and ask the owner every question we had. The owner came back with an offer which was well below what our vehicle is worth. He said he would get back to us. He never did. I guess we were not good enough for them They made us feel very inferior. That is okay we will take our business elsewhere we do not need to be treated like that.

I seriously shopped around to make sure that I was going to get the best deal on a new impreza. I contacted 5 area subaru dealerships.There was no tough sell or shell games! In the end, Tri-city was the clear winner. I only regret all that time lost dealing with the other places - Tri-city offers you the best deal the first time. Other dealerships matched their price on the car yet offered me 3000 below KBB value on my trade... Tri-city's first offer on the trade was spot on - and they still came up 500 dollars on the trade to make me happy. Customer for life!

I needed a car stat, since my previous one failed inspection miserably. I knew what I wanted since I had been expecting this situation for some time and had started my research months earlier. So when the day came, I searched local dealers, and found two used Subaru's that almost met all my criteria, both of which were at Tri CIty. We arrived at the dealership around 9:30 AM on a Saturday. Andy had reps on the floor and within about 15 mins I was out on a test drive in car number one. By 12:30pm I was approved for financing and I was signing papers. We still had plenty of time to enjoy the day and my new to me car. I said the price was good vs great, because it was, but I also didn't negotiate at all since the price was both near my target and I knew that their price wasn't far off from the kelly blue book. Also, the sticker was higher than what was listed on the web, but they honored the web price, which was a significant discount as it was. I also wanted to be in and out, no offense to the sales crew, I just like to enjoy my weekends as much as possible.TL;DR: Fantastic service, great car, will return next when I'm ready for the next one.

I stopped by Tri City Motors on the way back from a business meeting with some time to kill. Marty and Andy were knowledgeable and friendly with absolutely no pressure. Upon my request, they worked so hard to get to where I needed to be financially, that I had no problem purchasing the vehicle on the spot. A first for me.Of course, I also liked the vehicle, which Marty was more than happy to let me drive several mile to get a true feel for it, while we talked about football.I would also like to mention Mike Arthur, their Subaru specialist and how well he explained everything about the car when I picked it up. Pointing out several cool features that I wasn't even aware of.I buy a new car every three years because of the amount of driving I do. I never purchase a vehicle to day I test drive it. Always feel I need to sleep on it first. I first checked out Tri-City Subaru on the advice of a friend. I got on the web site and checked the vehicles. I was looking for either a Forester or Rav 4. Low and behold I found a used Rav 4 and a Forester I was interested in. I spoke to Salesman Joe Bova. He was very courteous and answered all my questions. He had no idea if I was coming in or not, but he still took his time with me and made sure I had all the information I was looking for. We spoke for almost 20 minutes. At the end of the call I thanked him and he said that if I had any further questions please do not hesitate to call. I did indeed call the next day and set up an appointment to see both cars. When I got to the dealership and met Joe, I was equally pleased (and surprised) that he wasn't like the "typical" car salesman. I was still indecisive on vehicles and he took the time to show me the benefits and advantages of each car compared to the other. He helped me match the correct car for me current needs. I was really impressed by the no pressure approach to purchasing a vehicle. After all was said and done I ended up purchasing the Rav 4. The reason I came down to the dealership was because of the way Joe was on the phone to me. I'm sure that dealers get calls like mine all the time and nothing comes of it and then they feel like they are wasting their time so they are short on discussion and pressure the next buyer because of the same old same old. After meeting Joe and dealing with him, I was just very impressed and knew that I really had an honest dealer. ( not many left) Joe's attitude, knowledge and behavior towards me was the reason I bought this vehicle from Tri-City, as well as researching the dealership. Joe is an asset to your company. As a matter of fact everyone who worked there that I ran into greeted me. What a great atmosphere!!! Other dealerships I called I would not even go to and check out the vehicle because of the way I was spoken to on the phone, because I couldn't guarantee them a visit or test drive. Overall I had a fantastic experience purchasing the vehicle and will have no problem recommending this dealership to others. Please feel free to use any of my statement. Searched vehicles on internet and set up appointment to meet with Marcus. Made appointment for Saturday asked Marcus if I was to ask for him and he replied YES stated he would have selected cars ready and waiting for me. Also stated no issues with financing good credit numbers. Arrived on time and asked for Marcus. Steve advised that he doesn't work on Saturdays.....Odd why make appointment? No cars were ready for me to test. Steve did find my file and got cars to test. Ultimately left with no car due to financing issues? Thought it was all set or at least that's what I was told? Drove down the street to Kia of Somersworth found a more expensive SUV with 5.9% financing. Tri-city Subaru the key to a good reputation and return sales is deliver what you tell people, don't BS them through the door. But on a good note kudos to Steve a pleasure to deal with.

They treated my friend and I like criminals. About a month ago we came in to test drive a BRZ, it's not like they were the only dealer that had one either. We came in with a 370z, so its not like we didn't have the funds or know what we were doing. That shouldn't matter anyway, everyone should be treated like a serious buyer and this dealer treated me like a joke.I went to another dealer the same day, and purchased the same day. Unbelievable the difference in customer service that I got.Not to mention TriCity is just a poor dealership, but the chairs are just sooo uncomfortable. Please invest on something I can sit on, not that I'll be back anytime soon after that experience.

I had purchased a vehicle from a used car dealership, there, I admit it. That wasn't so bad as the fact that I didn't take the time to research the reviews with this individual and his business, my fault as a consumer. I had the Subaru Forrester 2002 for all of three weeks; each week returning with a new problem. Week three the vehicle became unusable, leaving me in a go no where, heated argument with the owner of the business. I immediately brought it to Tri City Subaru, where I was less then pleasant, and I requested a diagnosis of the car; for I was being blamed for the problems with it. Sue didn't skip a beat; she took my info, took my key, and took the car. Never once being unprofessional, never once being impolite, dare I say, customer service at its finest. I personally work with customers all day long. I try to maintain the mentality of treat of how I would like to be treated, it's not an easy thing to stay calm when the customer in front of you is angry; and lets not forget I didn't buy the car from you! In the end, I received my independent diagnosis, and the lender rescinded the note, the "dealer" took his car back, but only, because Sue took time to deal with me, do her job properly, and provide me with an accurate diagnosis and documentation. In the time that it took for me to resolve my car issue, I lost and entire pay period of 2 weeks. I had to report to my superior every morning to give an update to my status. I can tell you truthfully that while I was explaining my situation, Sue's name and Tri City came up. I was told that the secretary and her husband are customers there, and he loves to deal with Sue. This possibly saved me a second time as my work was not happy with my absence for 2 weeks, but they knew the situation was in capable hands, being Sue's. Sue could have easily given me the cold shoulder, or told me she was too busy, but she didn't. I can't thank her enough either, because aside from the mechanical failure's this car, it had major safety issues. I have three boys, 16, 14, 12, this was family transportation. Her informing me of this is the most important part of the whole review, for the other selling dealership passed it for safety out of their own shop. Sue has a friend for life, whether she wants one or not. Tri City has my respect, and if our financial situation ever clears up and we are able to purchase a new vehicle, we are coming to you. My husband and I stopped in one Sunday after having driven other makes and models. I knew mileage would be very important this time around and having had an AWD I felt that was pretty important living in NE. We met Jim Kearns as we were wandering around. His sincerity, laid back manner, and knowledge of the vehicle was impressive. Jim answered all our questions and more.He brought us the keys and told us to take the car out and try it. My husband decided to stay so I got in and left the lot. When I returned I was in love with the vehicle. My husband said to Jim "what should we do?" Jim kind of chuckled and said "whatever you want to do." Right there that sold me not only on the car but Jim as a salesperson. I wanted a color and model that was not on the lot but within a few days he called and said he had found one and it was now at Tri City Suburu. When we went to pick it up he not only was very thorough in going over my new car and all of it's details but he programmed my Bluetooth for me. He did this in a way that even I, a low tech person, could remember and understand. This is why I gave the ratings I did.

The team at Tri-City Subaru is the BEST! I have had my Legacy serviced at the Somersworth dealership since 2008 and would recommend doing business with them in a heartbeat. The entire team is exceptionally friendly, trustworthy, professional and knowledgable. My Subaru is a 2005. I've been a customer of Tri City Subaru for over 10 years now and keep coming back for the same reasons - great people and great service. This is the first time I bought a brand new car, the XV CrossTrek, and the experience was great. Mike was attentive and really listened to what I was looking for. He and I were able to negotiate exactly what I wanted (including the financing) with no "pushy salesman" tactics. They had to locate the exact car I wanted, which they were able to do in 2 days, and then 2 days after that I drove my CrossTrek home. I can't recommend Tri City Subaru enough for both buying a car and then maintaining it. My other car has 225,000 miles and still runs great thanks to their service department. I will never go anywhere else for my car purchasing or servicing needs!

I was not even looking to buy a new car but when my 2009 forrester was in for service and I was told that it had some pretty maintaince coming up along with a major repair that was going to be needed I decided to buy a new car. They gave me to dollar for the trade in even though they new the work that was going to be needed soon. Roger hand Andy made sure I was informed about the whole process. In fact I did not even have to come in do do anything until the car was ready to be picked up. Andy went out of his way to find me the car I wanted and even drove 150 miles away to get it. This is my fourth subaru from tricity. I have stopped shopping around because I know they will take care of me.

Bought my BRZ from them. Marcus had very good patience to answer all my questions and worked with me the whole process, and got every tiny requests done right. Mike did a good job of wrapping up the delivery process. And the service team was kind enough to let me into their bay and install the magnets on. That's what I'm talking about -- good service is when you heed to your customers' requests.Good prices. Good people. Job well done.

Bought a 2011 Forester from Matt Dugal. Liked his customer service so much, I bought a 2012 Impreza for my daughter. Have had regular service done and the service department greets me by name whenever I come in. Sue, Joe and Joey are great. They accomodate all my needs quickly and efficiently. This dealer responded to my internet query quickly. From the moment I walked in the door, I was treated with courtesy and respect. When I explained what I was looking for, Joe focused on giving me what I wanted without trying to get me to "up-grade" and spend more. I also received the best price immediately, unlike the other dealers I visited that wanted to play games with the price. After going to several other dealers, I came right back to Tri-City with my check book and bought exactly what I wanted. I brought my car in for routine maintenance. The service manager told me that the sound I heard in the air system was a whole nest of mice, living and dead. The repair would be expensive, and they suggested I not drive the car in that condition. The service manager let me use the phone to contact my insurance company, talked to my insurance representative to discuss the damage, tried to arrange a local car rental, and in lieu of that, rearranged their loaner schedule so I could use one of theirs. The repair took three weeks. They could have done it faster, but they wanted it to be perfect. When I got the car back, they had totally detailed it inside and outside. The car is perfect, the process was seamless. Excellent customer service.

I went in for a routine oil change. My car was taken in on time and I was on my way again in no time. Joey and his service team are great, especially Sue! A pleasure to do business with. I have owned two vehicles purchased from Tri-City Subaru and both purchase experiences were great. The salesperson was extremely knowledgeable about the models in which I was interested and exhibited a lot of enthusiasm regarding the products. I have always been more than satisfied with the the total purchase experience from shopping, test drive, pricing, financing and orientation to the new vehicle once purchase is finalized. The service department is also tops on my list for dealerships in this area. The manager and service reps are professional and very pleasant. I have never had a bad experience with any routine servicing or repair. Never has the final price of a repair been higher than the price quoted, nor have the technicians ever gone ahead and done any additional work without first discussing it with me first. They also offer courtesy limousine service after you drop off your car for repair along with pick-up service at the end of the day to get you back to the dealership to pick up your vehicle after repairs have been completed. All in all, it's a great place to take your business.

I'll start with the "why." After the transaction for my vehicle was complete, I noticed a series of significant scratches on my car. Jim and the rest of the staff ensured that this issue was dealt with appropriately. I was able to schedule a convenient appointment with an affiliated body shop immediately. Since I'm not yet 25 and couldn't take a loaner car to work for a couple days, Jim volunteered to drive me to work off the clock at 6:45 AM. Ultimately, Jim and the staff got the job done hastily, thoroughly, and free of charge.In addition to providing extensive and convenient maintenance I never felt as though Jim was trying to sell me down the river. He is a realist and believes in his product. He'll let you test drive your car of interest alone and thus you won't have to feel awkward about unleashing the car. I was able to run the car through a gambit of my own quality assessments without any dealer bias. I stand by my statements about Jim Kearns and the staff at Tri-City Subaru. Employees there are friendly, knowledgeable, and they hold themselves accountable.

We were looking for a very specific car to meet our needs and Tri-City had just what we wanted. The sales and finance team worked quickly to help us drive away in our Certified Pre-Owned Forester within just a few hours. This is the second time we've bought from Tri-City (bought a CPO Impreza a couple years ago), and I would highly recommend checking them out first if you are looking for a dependable car and want to work with friendly, professional staff. We've had no problems with the Impreza so far other than regular maintenance, and although we've only had the Forester a short time, it's exactly what we were looking for and we are very happy with our purchase.

We visited Tri City Subaru for annual service to my wifes' Forester and while there I inquired re; used SUV inventory as I was contemplating replacing my 13 year old Explorer. I met Robert and asked that he keep me informed if new inventory came in that would suit my wants. He did call a few days later with news that a trade in had just arrived that might interest me. In the meantime I had visited nearby dealers and had a unit I was interested in at another location and had searched the web for anything in NH that would be of interest also. I was totally disappointed with what I was seeing in terms of phony prices and comeons, confusing web sites etc.In addition to our current Forester, we have done business with Tri City Dodge many times over the years and have come to know and respect the Ownership family and staff. So, I went to see what Robert had come up with and although that vehicle did not fill the bill for me we came to an agreement on another trade in Forester that had also just come into the shop. As expected Robert and the whole staff made the purchase so comfortable and unlike most other auto sales experiences that I and others have witnessed. A week after the sales was completed Robert called to get my reaction to the car and did I have any troubles or complaints with the vehicle. I mentioned a couple of items that I was concerned with and before the phone conversation was over , I was talking with Susan and had a service appointment for the next week which went without a hitch, the items were corrected in a very short time compliments of the dealership. Needless to say another VERY SATISFIED Tri City Subaru customer

I checked with some other dealers in my immediate area and no one had many vehicles on their lots. I decided to check further away and found that Tri-City had the best assortment of new vehicles to pick from. They went out of their way to make sure I purchased the exact car we wanted with our "must have" options for an unbelievable price. Got great help with financing, they went the extra mile to get me in the car, plus they have an awsome service team who do what they say they will when they say they will do it. Robert was wonderful to work with. His knowledge of Subarus and ease of working with clents made our experience incredibly easy. We made a preliminary phone call to come in and were pleasantly surprised to have cars waiting for us to demo at our arrival. We ended up going in a completely different direction than what we had planned and this was no problem what so ever with Robert. At the end, we were still not there with price and trade and went home. The next morning we went over to Manchester and had a terrible experience. They do have the inventory but they also are a high pressure sell. They have to in order to move that many cars..... We ended up back with Robert and in a new car by the days end.

We were shopping online for a good deal on a 2012 Forester to replace our 2004 Forester. Tri City was the first dealership to reply and they offered us a good price on an actual vehicle in their inventory. Their price was slightly better than Edmund's TMV for our zip code. Other dealers responded more slowly and tried to get us to come in to see what they had to offer. They wouldn't make a clear offer on price before we came to their showroom. That's why we went to Tri City. Robert Arthur, our sales guy, was great. He's friendly and explained the car in detail. The business manager was also a pleasure to deal with. We felt that we had a good experience and got a very good deal (with no trade in and no financing).

I bought a 2005 GMC Canyon from this dealership last year and my dealings with them has been nothing less than outstanding. Although I do not remember the salesman name, I do remember that the experience from the very start was short, sweet and very pleasant. I don't believe the whole sales experience took more than a few hours (start to finish). Everyone from the salesman to the finance manager to the service personnel, all phases went extremely well.I did have a few small issues with this vehicle, which were taken care of immediately. A special thanks to Sue in the service dept for her professionalism and willingness to "get the job done".

Unannouced I pulled up to service and went in to explain the fan belt was screeching and we had been in an accident. Sue jumped in the car and drove it into service and had the belt fixed in less than five minutes.In the meantime I visited with Roger. He and Sue recommend the same body shop to repair the damage. Tri City does not have a body shop.After I convinced Roger to purchase my new book, Guardrails, God & Santa Claus, on Amazon.com Sue had the car ready and I headed over to the recommended body shop. Tommy came right out, took a look at the damage and summoned his estimator. In 10 minutes I had a very reasonable quote, the parts were going on order and the car will be fixed by next Thursday so my wife may head to Florida.Service just does not get any better than Tri City Subaru and their entire team.

Robert did an excellent job of explaining the different packages and options availible with the new 2012 Imprezza line. He also compared it to the other cars within the Subaru lineup to ensure that I was making the right choice for my lifestyle. At the end of the day we both agreed leasing a 2012 Imprezza would be the best for me! He reveiwed all of the different functions of the Imprezza when I picked it up to ensure that I was able to fully utilize its many features. He also quickly scheduled the service work for my new fog lights. Robert is an excellent sales associate and I reconmend him to all of my family, friends and co-workers.

This had to be the most pleasant and stress-free car purchase ever! I stopped in "just looking" but knowing it was time to trade in my 2000 Subaru and left with a 2010 Subaru Impreza. Cruising thru the lot looking at their stock, a few vehicles stood out but it wasn't until Mike took the time to show me the different models on the lot, I found my next/new car! His professional-no hassle style was just what I needed to make the decision to buy from Tri-City again. Craig was great running through the vast paperwork and made it as painless as possible. The staff treated me like family - no smarmy salesmanship here. The last Subaru I purchased there kept me happy for 10 years, I'm sure this one will have the same life span. Loved the dealership, love the crew - Great overall experience. I would recommend them to anyone!

I will start by saying that I wrote one review, with similar ratings, which was removed by dealerrater.com reportedly for being "too vague". So, here are some specifics: I traded an '09 Impreza with approx 30,000 miles for an '09 Forester with just under 60,000 miles (I needed add'l cargo space). They gave me $15,500 in trade (the car needed minimal [tires, bumper touch up] in order for them to list it for resale at $19,500. I bought the Forester for $19,495. On my drive home from the dealer I noticed that both side mirrors shake, to an extent that makes using them nearly out of the question. The windshield has countless dings, some of which have been repaired, some not. The brakes squeak and the car's idle speed tends to change dramatically, and get fairly high, for no particular reason. I started email correspondence with Matt almost immediately after purchase. I was told that the windshield is not covered in any sort of warranty and the other issues could certainly be addressed by the service department. This left a bad taste in my mouth. I then began corresponding with Roger, who initially made it seem as though we could work something out wherein I trade the Forester in for a different car, hopefully one without a list of issues.Rather than informing me over the telephone, he requested I come to the dealer. I live in Maine so this wasn't super convenient but I drove to the dealer in hopes of remedying the situation...hoping for a win-win. Within minutes of arriving, Roger informed me that what I needed was "some buckin' up" which of course is not what I felt was needed. Shortly after, I made a comment something like "this is a crazy situation." Roger replied, "Oh, you were crazy long before we started this process." Again, this was not received well by me...to say the least. We then proceeded to discuss the financial piece, at which time, he informed me that he would give me $15,500 for trade in on the Forester ($4000 less than what I had paid one month before). He would, however, sell me a used car with minimal profit for himself. Of course, this did not feel like a very fair deal to me...nor did I feel very appreciated or respected as a customer. This is my 5th Subaru and I will continue to buy them but certainly not from Tri City. I know this review is long...I tried to keep it short and sweet but that was not an option. I base many of my purchases/choices on consumer reviews. I try to post reviews (both good and bad) whenever possible and I felt that writing about my experience at Tri City was worth making public.

This was the second Forester we have bought from Tri-City, and once again, Bob Arthur was our contact. He's a great salesman; he remembered us from our first Forester purchase of seven years ago! (I know because he remembered our trade-in vehicle!) We loved our first Forester, so when the time came to buy a new one, we didn't hesitate; went directly to Tri-City and bought a two-year-old, newer Forester. The dealership has been very responsive whenever we have needed service, or just needed some questions answered.

We have purchased five Subarus from Roger, and loved every one of them, but it's the Service Department at Tri-City that I'm really crazy about. Sue Monaghan is the Service Adviser there, and she's the first face I see when I walk in the door. For me, she is why I keep coming back to Tri-City. I trust Sue. She is incredibly knowledgeable about how these cars work and all the things that might go wrong with them, from brake pads and bearings to ... um... an embarrassing rodent problem and how we can prevent it from happening again. Sue is able to explain how my car works, what parts are wearing down and why, when they should be replaced, how much time I can wait and still safely drive the car. She explains it all without making me feel stupid, which I greatly appreciate, and she helps me save money whenever she can. Always with a friendly smile, the personal touch in a personal way.

There is nothing in my world that is worse than shopping for a new car. In truth, I would rather chew my left foot off (but that would further limit my transportation options). My experience with the staff at TriCity Subaru was fantastic. Their prices were competitive, the stock they had available on site was good. Mostly, however, the service that I received from the staff (especailly my sales guy Joe Bova) was outstanding. I found them to be responsive without being pushy. They were knowledgeable about their cars, and their competitor's cars - I double checked their facts on all counts. I walked away with a greater appreciation of car design, and safety. Further than this, I walked away with a GREAT deal on a reliable and pleasurable car. I know that I will drive for many happy years. If you want a pleasurable (read 'the least painful experience possible for me') experience buying a car, I would highly recommend this dealership and my sales guy: Joe Bova. They will be my first choice if I ever have the unhappy task of buying another car.Thank you, Joe, for saving my left foot!

I love my Subaru and when I first got my car, my neighbor came across the street to take a look. Kathleen works customer service and is always easy and pleasant to deal with and has a great smile! Sue Monaghan, Service Advisor goes above and beyond making sure my car is in good running order and I am always safe. She always lets e know what has to be done right away and what can wait. Why is this important? I am on limited income and my Subaru is 10 years old! AS far as I am concerned this is the best dealership and I really like the people there. My only small complaint, I have to pay for service!!!!!??

I had a very good experience at Tri-City Subaru. On my first visit, I told Mike I was just looking and he respected my wishes and was not pushy at all. He was very patient and answered all my questions in a friendly manner. I went back 2 more times before making a decision and never did he make me feel I had to make a decision about anything right on the spot. Andy was also great and worked to get me the financing and interest rate I wanted. This was my first new car and I had a great experience buying it. I would recommend Tri-City Subaru to anyone shopping for a new car. I love my new car!!

I first met Joe a few months ago when I was wanting to determine if I wanted an Outback or a different car altogether. Although I made it clear I wasn't at the purchasing stage, but the information gathering stage, Joe didn't "shut down" like some salesmen would have. He stayed with me through a couple of test drives, was very polite and professional and not pushy at all. I left feeling like I had been talking with my dad or trusted family member about looking for a new car. It was a nice experience. Joe promptly followed up with me a few months later to see how I was, which I responded in kind to. Months went buy, and due to my car about to not being able to pass inspection, I was back at the Subaru dealership. I had been looking at Hyundai Accent and Elantra Touring models, more inline with my budget, and had a fantastic salesman at Somersworth Hyundai, named Rich Rice, but I really wanted the safety of all wheel drive in Maine's snow and wanted to see if Subaru had a car to offer that was more inline with my current financial situation than the Outback. I sought out Joe again in my quest and yet again, he was right there for me and with me through the whole process. Again, always polite, very comfortable and easy to talk to, and again the same trustworthiness showed through in our conversations. He didn't push anything on me, but seemed kind of frustrated as I was that there just wasn't an inventory of what I was looking for. Then one Friday night, my future car rolled in....Joe contacted me, and I bought it the next day! Financing was certainly not sure thing, but Andy, the sales manager was fantastic. Very personable, didn't make me feel uncomfortable, was very sincere in caring about getting me in the car I wanted for the payment I wanted. He was great! All in all, with being formerly married to a car sales guy....and knowing how most places do what they do, I will say that this Subaru dealership is NOT like most! The people I dealt with were unfailingly polite, not pushy, easy to talk to, sincere, and overall it was a great process, I cannot fault one thing. I love my new Subaru Impreza Outback and I love my new "go to" dealership! You can't go wrong with these guys!

Although we love the car, sadly it has had a couple of mechanical problems since the purchase. Now that we are in Alaska, we still needed to call Joe because we get little help from the local dealership. He has been responsive and quick to help us, really going out of his way despite the fact it's not even possible that we purchase a car from him again our go to get serviced at their dealership (since we're 4,500 miles away). Subaru should really commend these guys for their work!

I did not give them a perfect 5 as the service clerk, Susan is somewhat ascerbic which can be off putting. Just don't expect her to go out of her way and you'll be fine. My husband and I first visited Tri-City Subaru with the intent of buying a used Subaru Outback. Matthew Dugal showed us numerous used cars and provided us with information concerning prices and availablity. After considering our options and the cost of a used versus a new car we visited Tri-City a few days later and Robert Arthur showed us a new Forester with all of it's options and we took it for a test drive. Being dedicated Subaru car owners we immediately realized this was the car for us. After the test drive Robert explained in detail all the information needed for purchasing the car and we found our price very agreeable. We then submitted our information for a loan approval. After being notified of our loan acceptance we made an appointment to finalize our sale. When we arrived at Tri-City Subaru our car and Matt were waiting for us. We then completed our paperwork with Craig Bettencourt the business manager in a very timely manner. Matt once again explained in detail all of the features of the car and the cleaning kit. We were very pleased with the overall treatment we received from Matt, Robert and Craig and very impressed with the efficent manner that was involved in purchasing our new 2011 Subaru Forester. We would definitely recommend Tri-City Subaru to anyone interested in purchasing a Subaru.

After weeks of research and comparison, it seemed Tri-City had the largest pre-owned Subaru selection and prices were favorable to other dealerships, such as Ocean Subaru, for instance. Tri City Subaru completely saved me from being taken advantage of by another dealership. I own a 2006 Subaru Outback wagon with 48,000 miles and excellent condition. I was traveling in a snowstorm in Boston and noticed an engine error code (Er HC) on my console as well as the temperature guage being at the highest point. I found a Subaru dealership in Beverly Mass who could not look in depth until the next day, so they checked the coolant and thought it would be safe to get to a dealership nearer to my home. I went to Exeter Subaru (Exeter, NH), left my car there and was told I would get a call later in the day with an update. After approx 30 minutes, I received a call that my car was not driveable and there was a very serious problem with my engine...either cracked heads or a cracked head gasket. It would need to be taken apart and assessed (and of course they could start that right away). I was told that even if I decided not to have it fixed (since it was a 2006 and may not be worth it) it would cost me $570 for the labor. I asked if it was covered under warranty and was told "no, it's an '06). It was mentioned that I might consider trading out of it, since it had an engine problem and they could have me speak with a sales rep...send my car to auction and get a new one. they said I was looking at anywhere between $2-4000. I told them to wait and I called Tri City Subaru in Somersworth. Almost immediately after checking my VIN#, they told me that I was STILL COVERED under the power train warranty and they would send a tow truck immediately to pick it up. I called Exeter Subaru and they said, "Oh...it must be their own warranty, we could probably work something out for you". I said no of course. At that time they informed me that they had changed my oil and it would cost $77 (why would they change the oil if they thought I had a possible cracked head gasket?) The next morning, Tri-City called me to inform me that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my car. They showed me the Subaru technical report of the exact error code, it was a known issue. They showed me the warranty report and that I was covered until 5/31/11. All through this time, Tri-City Subaru took control and took care of me. They exhibited EXCELLENT customer service. They were honest, NEVER MENTIONED BUYING A NEW CAR, supportive and thorough. I have purchased 5 cars from Tri City and when I decide to purchase my next Subaru it will be from that dealership. With regard to Exeter Subaru, I wouldn't trust them for a second. I have never been scammed like that in my life. If it wasn't intentional, then it was beyond careless and negligent. The first thing they should have done was checked my VIN and discovered I was covered, instead of calling me and telling me my car was practically not worth repairing. Do you think it had something to do with the fact that it's almost paid off????? hmmmmm.

What an excellent dealership: so customer friendly. NOT PUSHY but VERY HELPFUL. I've used their service dept for years: Sue, the service mgr, is very knowledgeable and friendly. They've always been accommodating, do excellent work, and are priced fairly. I know nothing about cars, but Sue can always explain things so that I understand what needs doing & why. While driving home to Manchester from Maine a few weeks ago, my engine light came on. I detoured into TriCity at literally 5 min 'til 5pm and explained my situation. The service man didn't act inconvenienced in the least! In fact, within a few minutes a diagnostics tech was in my car figuring out the problem. I was a wreck, but they calmed me down and fixed the problem then & there!I bought my new Subaru at TriCity and drove her home yesterday. At no time during the process did I feel pressured in any way. In fact, Andy kept the payments a little under what I needed and went out of their way to get me the EXACT car I asked for (in two days!). First, I researched their inventory online. I liked the fact that they have Certified Pre-Owned vehicles (with a warrranty) and that the Car Facts is attached to the video & profile of each vehicle. There's also a place where you can figure out what your trade is worth. In response, I received an email from Ryan. When I explained that my credit isn't good and I probably couldn't afford a car right now, he was very sweet and let me know they'd be there to help whenever I was ready. NO PRESSURE: I loved it! About a month later, I took my Subaru in for service. I also looked up Ryan and he started to go to work for me. I was amazed when he said I might qualify for a "newer" CPO vehicle. Within a few days Andy had appraised my trade in and performed some kind of miracle: I was able to buy a NEW Subaru! WOW...he did all the work for me, got the loan approved, and even found the exact model with all the bells & whistles I was hoping for. Eric spent a lot of time with me, giving me a test drive of a car and then going over all the features of my new car...no small feat since I am car-illiterate. He even set up the bluetooth for my cell phone.I couldn't have been more pleased with this whole experience and I wanted to share it because I know many people DREAD the process of buying a new car. These guys work as a team to do their best for you. I've owned only Subarus since 1987 and I always will. TriCity Subaru is the best dealership! I was extremely pleased with the treatment I received from Steve when I was in the market for a new car. I have already recommended him to several of my friends. I had been to a few dealerships before I met Steve and was pleasantly surprised to not get the hard sell and pressure I was greated with at the others. Steve showed me what I asked him to show me. Joey McCrossin himself went to bat for me with Subaru regional to get me covered for about $2,000 of out-of-warranty that my car really needed and I could not afford.This going way above and beyond for a customer merits the highest possible rating and many future service visits. We bought a 2009 Subaru Outback with low mileage (very hard to find) in excellent condition for the best price anywhere on the market within a 100 miles of where we live. The car is great. From our first telephone contact with Ryan, the service was impeccable. Everyone we spoke with throughout the process was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, honest and easy to talk to. We would highly recommend this dealer to anyone. They have a large inventory, also. The cars we looked at were exactly as advertised. Everyone at this dealership was fantastic. Even when I wasn't sure I was serious about buying this vehicle, they were incredibly helpful, but never pushy. Eric Mancuso actually taught me how to drive this particular vehicle (since it was a standard), even when I said it was out of my price range. He never pushed the sale. So I took some time to think about it, and came back to find out if I could afford it. The person who worked in financing worked very hard to get me a good rate, and I ended up buying the vehicle. Then after the sale, Eric Mancuso gave me one more lesson, to make sure I was comfortable driving it before I took it home. I cannot say enough good things about this dealership. I would recommend them to anyone.

I know buying a car is not everyone's favorite activity (not mine, either), but it was such a pleasure (yes, pleasure) at Tri-City, that I feel the need to tell everyone about it. The staff was great, the information they gave me was complete and up-front, the pricing was all laid out very simply and was easy to understand. They gave me a very fair deal on my trade (I had done the research) and a very fair price on the vehicle (again, I had done my research.) I found the vehicle I was looking for on their Internet Specials section, and had a short email discussion with Ryan. I had gone through the inventory or every (yes, every) Subaru dealer in New Hampshire and Vermont and looked at every price. Then I met with Andy and Joe at the dealership, got my trade valued, and set up the purchase date. On that day, the paperwork took only 15 minutes; then I was given a thorough review of all the car's equipment and features. I could have bought the car the first time I was there, but I was in a bit of a rush and Andy suggested I delay my purchase for a couple days so I could come back and spend adequate time with their staff going over the features. I'm so glad I did, as I now feel comfortable with everything. That day, Joe did not want me to leave without understanding fully the GPS, the shifting, the sound system's digital screen, and other "new-to-me" features. I'll purchase my next Subaru from Tri-City.

This is my second vehicle purchased from Tri-City. The first was a used auto and now this car--2011 Subaru Forester. In both cases, Andy and Joe were excellent; Joe is very knowledgeable and made me feel secure that I was purchasing the best/safest vehicle possible for my budget each time. As a Home Health RN safety and reliability are very important. Andy went above and beyond to explore all financing options worked really hard to keep me at or below my budget for payments. I have purchased many cars in my life and every time I felt as though I was being "taken advantage of" because I was a woman purchasing a car on my own. When I bought my first car from Tri City I did not feel this way at all. Right from the moment I walked in and Joe greeted me and I worked with Andy to now. The service department staff is very friendly and makes sure that they understand the customer's needs. On my last visit, my car needed an oil change and tires rotated. When Sue told me my car was ready, she noted that my tires had uneven wear. I left and heard a funny noise, so I called back and Sue told me to turn around and bring my car back. She and I went for a ride, but not until she had asked one of the service technician's to wait. After our ride, she told me that she felt the noise was due to the uneven wear of my tires, but that if it didn't go away after a couple of weeks, and I was still bothered by the noise, to come back. I have known Sue and Joey for many years (they serviced my previous car for 12 years) and feel confident in their advice and know that they will do all that they can to make sure that I am satisfied with the work that their service department does for me.

I've had Subaru's before and had a moment in life and Leased an x3 BMW. Once my lease was coming due I heard that Joey was the service manager at Tri-City so I went back to the Subaru! Best move I've made. Joey's the best and Sue is great too. Very informative, keeps you updated and is extremely knowledgeable. I just went in for my free inspection and while there she said there was a recall that just came out and asked if I wanted to get this checked now. My visit to Tri City was for a regular scheduled maintenance. I got a reminder call before my visit. I was greeted by a friendly lady and told what needed to be done. I had a problem with a tire that seemed to have a slow leak and she added that to the service. Everything was perfect and I was pleased with the polite friendly people.

Tri City has been my dealer service center for the past three years. I can say I have never had a problem with them. Every time I go there for service on my Subarau Impreza I encounter nothing but friendly, fast, perfect service. Sue Monaghan is always very helpful with a smile on her face. After my car is looked at before servicing, she comes into the waiting room and explains in terms that I can understand what is needed and how it will effect my car and my safety. My original sales experience was great and all my service appointments have been convenient and accommodating. Working night shifts I tend to make my appointments for mornings after I get out of work. The service staff are all great about letting me nap in the waiting room and waking me with any changes/updates and when they're done! I love my Forester turbo! Susan always takes great care of me and my car! Other service desk staff are also very personable and helpful. When I bring in the car for service, they always keep me updated as to what they found and where they are at. Staff always remember to check for "critters" and clean up any messes even when I don't think to ask (this car has a history of rodents loving to live in it). The lady who signs me out is also very friendly. Sometimes the owner comes out and takes a few minutes to ask how things are going and talks about the Patriots!

Well we have just bought our second Subaru - a new Outback for my wife and to say she is delighted is to hardly describe her joy. This is the first time I have ever bought the same brand of car right after the first based on my experience with our first Subaru - a Baja turbo which I purchased used.One of the most important reasons we decided to buy another Subaru besides our satisfaction with the quality of engineering, comfort, performance and effortless ease with which they cope with New England winters, was the dealership itself. This was probably the easiest, most relaxed, least pressured sales enviroment I have experienced to date with friendly, patient and informative staff but even more important than this was the quality of the service department. After-sales is often the sour taste of any new car experience but Tri-City Subaru quite simply should be richly proud of there performance in this area. Special mention for Sue and Joey here who always make me feel as though they are taking good care of me personally not just my car. Even after a major problem that left me stranded by the side of the road some 60+ miles from home a couple of years ago and a rather fraught, emotional phone call these guys had a tow truck with me within the hour (very impressive) and took care of the problem with the minimum of fuss and with impressive attention to detail and quality of workmanship.My Baja has had a lot of work to do over the past couple of years and has always impressed me with it's dependability and driving enjoyment so I can easily recommend Subaru's but how awesome and rare it is to be able to recommend such a highly impressive service department ! I guess we'll be bothering them for many years to come!

A good friend of mine mentioned that the dealership where I bought my Subaru was requesting feedback, and as soon as I received her email I decided to once again offer my impressions on Tri-City Subaru. My first experience was with Joe in sales, along with Andy and Roger. Wonderful and thoughtful people who care more about the customers happiness than making a sale. My next interaction was with Sue in service. Sue continues to show how consistent this dealership is in their caring of the customer, and striving to make the overall service experience a positive one. I can't say enough about Sue and how great she's been to me when service is needed. I've always dreaded the process of purchasing a new car, and taking my car back to the dealer for service, based upon the very poor experiences I've had with "other dealerships" in the NH Seacoast. Clearly Tri-City, and the Subaru brand is exemplary and like no other dealer that I have ever come across in all my car buying years. Our vehicle recently needed some regular maintenance and auto body work, and my wife and I were going away for a week. On short notice, and with good humor, Sue went out of her way to arrange to have the maintenance work performed by Subaru, and to have the auto body work performed by a local auto body shop, while we were away. We simply picked up the car on the way home from our trip, and we did not have to go without a car for even a day. We are grateful for Sue's diligence, and for the great work performed by Subaru.

Our family has been customers of Tri-City Subaru for many years. Recently, after purchasing our 4th vehicle from this dealer, I decided to have a remote car starter and trailer hitch installed. My wife and I have been dealing with the same service managers for years and when they moved to tri-city subaru so did we. We continue to be very pleased with the service. Recently, we were planning on a weekend trip and discovered a cut tire. We called Sue about 3 o'clock on a friday afternoon and she said bring it right in. We had a new tire and on our way in about an hour. It was finally time to trade one of our cars recently, and we bought a subaru outback. We knew it would be a good car but the main reason was we wanted to stay with Tri-City service. As it turned out the buying experience was great and as a bonus, it is probably the best car I have ever driven.

It is such a pleasure to take my Outback to Tri-City Subaru for all of it's servicing needs. It's always great to see Sue and Joey (they are wonderful!) and I know I can trust them to take good care of my car. They are very accommodating when it comes to scheduling appointments and on days I'm unable to wait for my car they have a van which takes me home and then comes back to pick me up and take me to the dealership when my car is ready. I normally hate the car buying experience, but I was blown away at how painless (and actually enjoyable) Eric made the entire process. He is, hands down, the most likeable sales person I have ever dealt with. Eric immediately greated us with a smile and was eager to help us. He was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles and more than capable of answering all of our questions. I can't say enough good things about tri-city subaru. Whenever I go to tri-city subaru, I always get A+ service. The staff always is friendly (greets you with a smile, opens the doors for you, etc.) Whenever I need to get my car serviced, the service advisors are excellent about informing you about what the problem and solutions are. It is also very convenient to schedule a service appointment - and if you schedule an appointment and don't want to wait, they are great about letting you use a loaner car or giving you a ride somewhere. I highly recommend tri-city subaru if you are looking for excellent service.

Elsewhere in the past, I had been treated rudely, as if I was a stupid female, and the car was never done when they promised. They go far beyond the call of duty. They are friendly, get to know you and make you feel welcome when you come in. In terms of service, they let you know of things that you might expect in the future by doing free check-ups during the year. They try to save you money by giving you options, but always tell you what isn't safe. In addition, they give a 10% discount to older folks. We very much appreciate their care

The Tri-City Subaru service department goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. It is very hard to find good customer service people today so when you do find them you appreciate them very much.On one of my visits to drop my car off for repair I misplaced my cellphone. I called the service department to see if I left it on the counter. No luck! Joe offered to go out to my car to look and see if I left it in there. He searched my car from top to bottom but did not find my phone. Later on I remembered where I put it...Kudos to Tri-City Subaru for everything that you do!

I had to bring my car in for a checkup. Some time before I had on two occasions hit potholes very hard and knew I had damaged my rims. I then told Sue I had a balance problem along with the normal checkup. Just a short but reasonable time later she said my car was ready. She then told me about the rims which of coarse I already knew and said I might want to replace them. Whats important here is that she didn"t pressure me into getting rims immediately and that the balance problem was fixed the prices reasonable and I was on my way. This is not the first time I have been satisfied and probably won't be the last I'm sure. I know when I need new tires I will probably get new rims. I will go no where but Tri-city Subaru for the tires and rims, I don't want just anyone working on my car they are the experts onall-wheel drive and more importantly its how I have been treated thus far. Thank you Tri-city Subaru.

Seven years ago, Steve Diamond was a wonderful person to work with when I purchased my Subaru Legacy wagon. However, all of my contact since then has been with the Service Department which was "OK" until I had an incident which necessitated my switching to another repair shop. A second major incident led me back to Tri-City Subaru and to Sue Monahan in the Service Department, who had not been with Subaru when I had gone there previously. Sue is a miracle!! I would like to start by saying that I am a person that hates the whole car buying process having had unpleasant experiences at more than one dealership, several times because I am a woman, but found myself at the point where I wanted and needed to make a change. Being a Subaru owner I knew I wanted another Subaru and after checking the web sites of several dealers found a car I wanted to see at Tri City Subaru. When I arrived at the lot I was quickly given a warm and friendly welcome my Eric Mancuso. He accorded me all the time I needed showing me several different cars and showing me different options and never making me feel pressured. In the end I wound up buying a different car than the one I went to look at, but one that fits my needs perfectly in everyway, thanks to Eric. If not for him, I am not sure I would even have looked at the car I bought. The whole experience was so pleasant. Eric was courteous, friendly and extremely helpful throughout, making it so easy for me. I also dealt with Andrew Cyr for the financial end of things and he too was very pleasant and easy to deal with. I did not buy a new and very expensive car and yet I am so pleased with the treatment I received I would highly recommend Tri City Subaru and Eric Mancuso without hesitation, and I LOVE MY SUBARU!!

Knowledgeable staff and quality service are the mainstays of why we have purchased our third Subaru from Tri-City Subaru. Eric Mancuso has been our sales person for the last two Subarus we have purchased. Eric exemplifies the rare quality in a car sales person of being extremely well informed about the product he is selling and his demeanor is one that does not come across as a person who will push the sale no matter what...we like that approach. He takes ample time to explain the features of the vehicle before the vehicle leaves the lot and is readily available to answer any questions about the vehicle after the sale.In a similar fashion, the service department has service technicians who know their stuff and complete their work within reasonable time limits.

Tri-City Subaru is awesome. I'd requested information on a used Tribeca online and was promptly contacted via email by Jason Gannett (Sales Manager), who was very nice. My entire communications with Jason was over email (I think that's very rare for car dealers). I set up an appointment and went for a test drive on Saturday. Steve helped us with the car. We took the Tribeca out for a test drive, while Steve sat in the back, answered any Subaru question we had and showed us the best roads to test drive the car. We went on dirt road and a steep hill (it's summer in NH, how else would you "test drive" a car!). I traded my car in and got a more than fair price and drove the Tribeca home the same day. I'm very happy with my car purchase and very impressed with the Tri-City dealership. I will definitely tell everyone I know about my experience here. When my husband is looking for a new car, we will be coming back here.

Tri-City Subaru was great! The only dealership I went to that made me feel comfortable and only offered me what I was looking for. Mark didnt pressure me to look at anything out of my price range and was great at telling me ANYTHING I needed to know about specific cars I was asking about. He told me the differences between impreza's and legacy's and showed me everything when I test drove and again before I drove off the lot in my new legacy. There isn't anything I dont know how to use in my new car which is great. Mark was polite, friendly and fun to work with! He didnt seem at all like the typical salesperson who would say whatever just to sell a car. He gave me straightforward quotes and answers and I appreciate him and the rest of the team for going all out and helping me meet my budget. They are great when you decide what car you want as well, he called the bank for me and my insurance and changed everything for me I didnt have to do anything and he even brought me down the street to return my rental!!! I am so glad I came to Tri-City Subaru for my first Subaru purchase! I love my legacy and couldn't be happier!!!! Thank you Mark & Roger!!!

I could not be more pleased with Marc Blake and Tri-City Subaru in Somersworth, NH! Originally, I started searching for Certified pre-owned Subaru Outbacks at our local dealer in Massachusetts, but felt their sales representative was less than trustworthy and their pre-owned selection was mostly former rental cars. Discouraged with my local options, I turned to autotrader.com where several non-rental CPO vehicles were listed. A quick trip across the border proved fruitful. Marc was very patient, respectful, and informative. When it came time to negotiation were spared the high pressure sales tactics and in just a few minutes we were offered a fair price. The car purchase was contingent on a couple minor items and these guys kept their word and made good on their promises. If youre not pleased with your local dealer options I highly recommend checking out what Tri-City Subaru in Somersworth has to offer.

Everyone was super friendly, but not overbearing or trying to sell us anything; they knew a lot about the cars; they answered questions with authority; they didn't try to steer us toward a more expensive car, but instead helped us identify the one that was right for us. They let us take our time; no sense of rush. They are obviously huge fans of their cars, which makes sense--Subaru rocks. We spent a few hours there and it was really a nice time; moreover, we came home with a great car at what seemed like a very good price. These guys are superb.

This being the first time that I had ever purchased a car, I was a little hesitant and leary of what I was going to run into at different dealerships (being a young woman and all). I was living up North at the time and wanted something that could handle the rugged Rangeley winters--I immediatley thought of Subaru and its AWD.I did some online shopping and noticed the great pricing offered at Tri-City. One Sunday I thought I would take a drive down to check out the lot. I figured most dealerships were closed on Sundays and was suprised when I was approached by Marc in the parking lot.The first thing I noticed about Marc was his down-to-earth personality and his eagerness to educate me on Subaru's great products. He showed me all the different models and suggested some that would best suit my lifestyle and needs. I test drove a Legacy sedan...he helped me put my dog's kennel in the back seat to see if it would fit before we took off :). During the test drive, Marc was very pleasant and professional--pointing out all the in's and out's of the cars handling, features etc. I did not feel like I was being conned or pressured to buy or talked out of other brands. He gave me a fair and realistic comparison of other competitor's models and how the Subaru stacked up. When you deal with Marc, you will know exactly what quality you are investing in.A few weeks later I came back and bought a Forester. Marc was great through all the negoitations and paperwork. I ended up feeling like I was buying a car from an old friend and not some random car salesman. I feel really lucky that I was approached by Marc that day at Tri-City. Buying my first car was a breeze and it was all thanks to that wonderful man. Totally top notch customer service. I will most definatly be buying another Subaru at Tri-City in the future!

I flew from PA to NH to get the car I wanted because the deal here was so extraordinary. Well, the service was even better. Marc Blake picked me up 45 mins. away at the airport and went out of his way to find me a Starbucks on the way back--I'm a bit of an addict! The car was better than expected, everyone I spoke to--starting with the internet representative I spoke to Day 1 and ending with the finance manager who arranged all the paperwork to make sure I could register the car in PA without a glitch--were top notch. When I found the car on line, I had USAA and Tri-Cities with all information in under an hour and the car loan was made and a check overnighting to me and my plane ticket bought! Marc went the extra mile and gave me directions to places I wanted to see in Portsmouth as well as in Portland, ME, since I'd never been to these 2 states. I can't wait to come back and I hope I have friends who are looking for cars that I can refer to Tri-Cities to buy. I'm sorry I'm so far away, because my bet is their service dept is as good as their sales dept and I'd love to give it a try. But I'm glad I got to know their Sales folks firsthand--what a professional and service-oriented team! THANKS!!!

About 6 years ago I shopped around to many different dealerships for a car. My experience at Tri-City Subaru two weeks ago was so much better in every way!My fiance and I found a car of interest on AutoTrader.com and contacted the Tri-City Subaru to make an appointment for a test drive. The sales person we met with was Mark Blake. He was unlike any salesperson I've met in the car industry. He was not "sales'y", instead he was clearly a car enthusiast. He was very knowledgeable of every Subaru model, as well as knew an impressive amount about other makes of cars. He also was not disparaging to other makes, which I found refreshing.Before the test drive, he walked us around the car pointing out many of it's features, everything from truck space to drivetrain opening both the trunk and hood to actually show us. During the test drive my fiance drove since the vehicle will be her daily driver. Mark told use more about the car's performance, handling, maintenance, and where the dealer obtained it. There was also some non car conversation, which made for an overall pleasant experience. At no time did we feel he was trying to push the car on us. After one loop around, I got behind the wheel and we went out for a second trip. Mark excused himself to speak with another customer and give us time to discuss.Of course we had already done our homework in researching cars, and after such a great sales experience, and an enjoyable test drive, by the time we got back from my chance behind the wheel we had decided to move ahead and talk about purchase.Again, even through talking price and warranty the conversation remained no pressure. He pointed out the highlights of the warranty and left the decision up to us, which after learning all the specifics sounded attractive enough to pick up. In this regard, I'm very impressed with the extra coverage offered by Subaru.During the time that they ran our financial information and shopped around among their banks for financing, the guys at the dealership were ordering lunch from a place down the road and were nice enough to ask us if we wanted to put in an order too. This was great, because I was starting to get hungry, and if I had smelled all their food, I would have gotten very hungry, and that's likely to lower my level of happiness. So A+ on being considerate.For signing of paperwork we were greeted by another guy, who's name I can't remember. This is where I expected the experience to go down hill, but it didn't. Getting through the final paperwork was quite painless, and we are now very happy owners of a 2007 Subaru Impreza.

From sales to service this dealership is hands down the best. I've been working with them for 5 years and have nothing but positive things to say. I was turned on to Tri-City after my regular mechanic could not fix my car(3 tries to admit it). They got it right the first time at a reasonable cost. Since then I have had all my service done by Tri-City. One the things that will stick me for life was when my wife was having our first baby the car was in for service, when I went to pick the car up they had marked the cost of the repair down and simply written a note of congratulations. When it was time for a new car it was a no brainer. A year later it was time to replace my wife's car and again my first thought was Tri-City.The 2 Subaru's in my driveway say it all.

My husband and I found Mark to be very helpful and knowledgable about the car that we were interesed in, a Subaru Legacy. The dealership was extremely busy on the day that we shopped and Mark was being pulled in many different directions. He politely apologized each time we were interrupted and was able to pick up our discussion right where we had left off when he returned. Everyone at the dealership seemed to mesh well together to help each other out and get us any information we required. We feel we were given a fair deal and absolutely love the car we bought!

Joe, Andy and Roger were amazing, knowledgable, friendly and very supportive. As many others who rated this dealership have commented, there is NO pressure to buy, but only a desire to provide quality and detailed information to help make the decision and weigh the pros and cons of the avaialbe cars on their lot. Most of my friends have Subaru's and have encouraged me to give up my old car in favor of the Subaru model. They also warned me that once you go Subaru, you never go back! I gotta tell you, it's only been a few weeks, but I think they are right.I must also say, however, that the make of the car and its reputation are important, but the dealership expereince is even more important, and Tri-City is probably the best dealership I have ever dealt with. I've always thought of car buying as stressful and uncomfortable. Roger, Joe and Andy make all of those pre-conceived notions melt away.Thank you for making my experience with Tri City such a good one!

Great experience. Friendly people, very professional. No guilt - love the no guilt. They take their best shot at your business and then ask for the sale. If it doesn't work, it doesn't work, and they are genuinely appreciate of the chance. If it does, it does and they are genuinely appreciative of the chance. I hope I live in the area and only need Subaru's for the next 50 years. I'd like to stick with this dealershp for all future purchases.

I have been to approx 20 dealers from Berlin to Dover looking for a used car and I must say this is the most helpful, knowledgeable and most friendliest dealer by far. The process of buying my car has been a very pleasant due to the staff at Tri-City Subaru/Dodge from Ryan and Robert, but also from the "financial staff" Phil and Bob too. They were all extremely helpful. THANK YOU VERY MUCH to Robert and Ryan.. You guys are the very best and I will tell my family and friends, this is the place to buy a new or used car.

I love my new Forester! This is my second Subaru from Tri-City and I would recommend the dealership to anyone in the area, including my Mom who bought a Subaru too. The sales team is knowledgeable and friendly and really let me take my time without pressuring me. I felt comfortable during the whole process. My experience in the service department for my first Subaru was equally good - they actually remember your name when you walk in which is really refreshing. :))

I must say, it was a pleasure to have worked with Ryan Gendron from TriCity Subaru. Trying to buy anything over the phone, from another state, can be a little stressful...especially when it's a new car of this quality/expense.
