I asked normal, general questions over email to the internet sales manager. That person was not very helpful at all. Mostly they just kept saying to come in. Why have your dealership on cars.com if you really aren't going to try and help someone over the internet??? Why bother with the title "Internet Sales Manager" if you don't want to be bothered via internet. The result was that I went to another dealership instead b/c the sales people were more than happy to help me over the internet and their dealership listed more details and the auto check (car fax) online. Tristar's loss, not mine!

Took our 2011 jeep grand Cherokee for service, was told it was a fuell pump, ordered new one, called said your good to go after 6 days. Brought it home guess what won't start. Took it back up only for them to tell me they can't look at it for three days . This is unacceptable. Very rude service department. Also now making horrible noise that it wasn't making when I took it there. Definitely would not recommend them for service.

My husband and I purchased 2 vehicles from solomons last year. Worst mistake ever. We never thought in a million years that we could trade both of them in on the truck we wanted. That was until we went to tri star and got the the help of Matt vanek and the finance team! They were able to get us about where we were paying on 2 vehicles and got us a lower interest rate. The experience was long as usual but they made it fun. My only complaint is that they told us they would call within a week to set up the appointment for the bed liner, under coating, and mud flaps and its been almost 3 now and still no appointment. everything is already paid for just waiting to get it done. Not really sure what the hang up is but I'm becoming impatient.

Went to buy a new vehicle and ended with a used vehicle. Sales person did not listen to customer "me" nor explain what was happening in process to "me". Did not check over vehicle to see if it was ready to be sold. This was a very bad experiance and a very long ordeal for "me". One bad sales person does not mean that all people here are bad but just be very careful!!! You can be swallowed up by a shark very quickly!!

I had several days of easy email exchanges with internet sales rep; got a nice deal on exactly what I and my wife wanted (2013 no frills Cherokee); then spent several hours at the dealer with everything being easily taken care of by the sales rep and financial guy. We were very pleased to be in a pressure-free friendly situation, and certainly would go back for another buy and recommend TriStar to others.

very clean, restrooms clean even their garage area was clean. everyone we saw was presentable. financing was A very informative. our saleman was richard hoover and my advice is to ask for him, if you dont get him demand you have him as your salesman, he will go the extra mile to make sure you know everything, very friendly just all around nice guy (except for being a baltimore ravens fan)you can not go wrong with this man. :)

sat oct 13,2012 my husband and I went to look at vehicles after hearing such good things from glenn b.friend and sherry judy who bought a jeep from tri star , thinking yea its like all the other dealers,,,no patience , rude , in a hurry,,,,lol well i have to say we have never regreted this day , such kind , polite , patient , caring salesman as richard hoover , jack the finace guy was awsome to , what a great expeirence that day , i had called richard the day be for who was not at work due to a injury but he called me from his home and promised to b at wrk the next morning to meet us,,,, richard and jack did everything possiable that day to make sure we left in a car that we wanted , im proud to say we have a 2010 nissan rogue , were so excited and love it and we are recommending tri star to everyone !

The most courteous and friendly salesmen I have encountered when buying a vehicle from a dealership! Richard Hoover was my salesman. He wasn't pushy, let me talk and ask questions without interrupting me. Matt Vanek also was in on the sale. Matt did not give up! They offered different solutions because I started out with a Jeep I couldn't afford. They looked at their records of vans/jeeps available not just from their store, but from other Tri-Star dealerships. They never pushed, just offered other possibilities. And, they got me into my Jeep Commander for less than I had said I could afford. Not much less, but less anyway. Also got a good interest rate with the help of Jack Francis in Finance. All 3 did not give up on getting me a car I could afford and like! I had been to other dealerships, but this is the one who worked with me. Other dealerships just lost interest when I said I couldn't afford what they offered and I also got a much better trade-in value for my old car. When I go back to Tri-Star Uniontown, I am respected and called by name when I enter the door. The Service Department is respectful, listens to my problem and doesn't treat me like I'm an idiot. My service advisor is Brian Wolfe. Talk to these people about your next purchase or service need. They will help you any way they can.

My requesting a quote from Tri Star allowed me to talk with Richard Hoover, their internet rep/salesman. During the enire process of talking about the vehicle, our test ride, and the closing of the deal was an enjoyable and enlightening experience. Richard not only took the time to ensure that all of our questions were answered, but also made sure that the vehicle was ready for my wifes departure. He did a great job with us!!

Just wanted to say that Tri Star Motors in Uniontown is top notch. I was looking for more bang for my buck with great gas mileage and I found it in my new Nissan Altima. Our salesman, Joe Pantalo and finance manager, Jack Francis were both polite and professional. This was the most enjoyable experience I ever had purchasing a vehicle. I will definitely recommend Tri Star to my family and friends. I LOVE my new car!

I would recommend Tri Star Motors of Uniontown to others. The salesman, David Wood, who I dealt with went out of his way to help me get the vehicle I wanted. I had seen the vehicle online, but I didn't really live close to Uniontown and didn't want to make the trip down there to look at the vehicle and test drive it, so we contacted Tri Star and David actually brought the vehicle down to Somerset, which was closer for me, so I could check it out. He saved us from making a trip to Uniontown. I did however drive there to pick up my vehicle just so I could finalize all the paperwork and talk to someone directly about the warranties. I spoke with Jack Francis in sales who explained all the warranties in detail and helped me to decide which warranties to select. Tri Star also made an effort to make an appointment to get my vehicle under coated and get everything ready before I arrived to pick it up. The only poor experience I had with Tri Star was that they did a poor job of washing the outside of the vehicle. Overall, I was very happy with the experience I had with Tri Star in Uniontown.

I have had many bad experiences while shopping for a vehicle in the past. This was was not one of them. I was offered a fair trade and a fair deal on the vehicle that I purchased. The Tri Star salesman ( Richard Hoover) made me feel comfortable and actually offered great advice. No pressure just good service. I will be back in the next week or so to purchase another vehicle.

Everyone involved in my experience at Tri star in Uniontown, especially the salesmen, Dave wood and joe Pantalo, made my time spent there very enjoyable. They went to great lengths to make sure I was happy. I have never felt so good about spending so much money. If you are in the market, do yourself a favor and visit tri star.

Before knowing how much I wanted to spend, the salesman treated me with respect and dignity. He showed me several options in my price range and gave me the honest positives and negatives (which I had already researched on-line and was very knowledgeable about all the vehicles. He and the finance department made sure that I was satisfied with the entire buying experience. I will definitely be going back to Rich and company at Tri-Star for my next car.

I had been looking for a used dodge in deep cherry red they had recently got one in on trade, so i called to see if it was still available. it was a little more than what i was looking to spend,but the salesman told me to come down and drive it anyway so i did. i was trading in my 2007 dodge and told him that what they gave me on trade would determine if i was going to buy it or not. once we got back he put some numbers together and came back with a good number on mine and i was paying less a month for the new truck. we got the paperwork started and they also had a bunch of extra incentives and bonuses that are free to the buyer.

I would like to take the time to thank all of the workers at tri star who made my first purchase an excellent one. Three men in particular couldn't of been any more exceptional in their line of work; Dave Howard, Joseph Mesich, and Jason Bowlin. They made what could of been a very intimidating experience into a very comfortable one. Very helpful with all of my questions and concerns. It was refreshing to see people actually take the time to get to know someones wants and needs and be willing to work with them. I would recommend tri star in Uniontown PA to anyone.

My best car buying experience ever! Jon Cibik, Salesman, knew everything there was to know about the Nissan Murano that I wanted. He explained everything to perfection. Then when it came time to deal with Joe Mesich, Sales Manager, he reassured me that it was the right vehicle for me. We reached an agreement very easily. Joe was so easy to talk to. Car buying can be stressful sometimes, but that was not the case here at all, I actually enjoyed it. Thanks Joe for making things go smoothly. The whole staff was great.

My wife and I dealt with Ed when purchasing our minivan. He was not the most polished salesman but he was very likeable. The funny thing was we actually liked another vehicle at another dealer much better but we went back to Ed because of his personality. He wasn't pushy like most sales guys. He was patient with us since we were on the fence with our purchase. The dealership gave us a great trade-in on our old vehicle. The finance guys were also very good to work with. I would recommned the dealership and Ed to others.

Tri Star made the buying process easy especially having trades. They were upfront, fair, and fast. Also, even after the sale was made the business manager called us the next day and had an even lower interest rate which was very helpful.

My wife and I were looking to buy a new (to us) family vehicle. The employees here made it a very easy process. They listened to what we wanted and needed for our family/budget. Excellent services from the salesperson, the finance person, all the way to the person who detailed the interior and the person who took care of anything we wanted added to the overall package. We drove off the lot with a great van that is exactly what we wanted and needed.
