Excellent!! I got my ford focus RS a week ago. I had an extremely good experience. Vitali did an awesome job helping me to get the deal done. He even offer to mail me the car cover. I was greeted by Jay Logue walking through the door with a big smile. I came in looking for a new Ford Fusion. And I was blown away by the knowledge this guy had on detail and Technology about the fusion. Even the manager Jeremy Swain was very helpful in getting me approved for the car I was looking for. Carlos and the whole staff at Tropical Ford were extremely helpful in helping me to finally get my car fixed after an accident and terrible service at other repair shops. They helped me figure out insurance issues and were extremely helpful! They even went the extra mile to pick me up with their shuttle on Saturday when their shuttle does not run! Also great donuts! :) Definitely recommend! Thank you!

Can by Tropical Ford to talk about possible trade in for my 2013 F150. Had delt with Jose before so already felt comfortable . I was introduced to my new Russian Bro sales rep Vitalie . Because it want Jose my guard was already up. Because Jose had already earned my trust. Didn't know Vitalie and trust is earned. Right off the bat he had energy and concern about what my needs were. And what I was looking as previous truck owner . His knowledge of all the males and models was Next Level! He took his time and throughly exsplained everything to me. With all the technology it can be very overwhelming. He focused on what I wanted vs what he wanted to sell me . We took a test ride and that's all she wrote. My biggest concern was price. Mark Roeseman was Friendly, Informative, and went out of his way to help me Before and After my purchase. He new so much information about so many different things, the things he didn't...He went and got the answer. He answered questions I didn't think or know to ask. Bought second F-150 at Tropical this past Saturday on May 21, 2016, plus a 2005 Mustang several years ago. Devon Bignall in Sales is incredible, as is Jose Gutierrez in Financing......both are friendly, professional, and very experienced. They make the car/truck buying experience a pleasure, not a nightmare. Jay Logue knows his products inside and out. Sales Mgr. Jack Grace, Sales Mgr, is a good guy too. Came in for service at 7:30am, 1/2 hr prior to service opening and Elsie the Service Adviser eagerly came out to help us. Even though the mechanics were not on duty until 8, she went and got Geraldo to help us right away. He fixed our 2 issues within a 1/2 hr of time. I was very impressed with the customer service and the speedy, but proper repairs. Elsie and Geraldo made my day. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone.

I brought my 2009 Ford Escape to Tropical Ford with mechanical problems. After hearing the price to fix I decided to purchase a new car. Jay Logue was my salesperson and he was excellent. I normally buy all my Fords at Mullinax Ford but Tropical is much closer to my work and home so I decided to give it a try. Jay was very helpful in getting me the car that I wanted. He listened and went out to recently received inventory and found me a 2016 Escape. He was professional and very informed about the Ford product. I received a good offer for my trade in and he worked hard to get me more money in rebates and for my car. When I picked up my car the next day it was fueled and washed and he is even looking for a front bracket for my Escape. He went over everything about the car including setting up my Sync. I would highly recommend him for anyone looking for a new Ford.

Devon did a great job getting us the exact car we wanted. Without us having to come into the dealership multiple times, he traded for a car that matched our requested specs from a dealer 60 miles away and had it waiting for us when we came in. My Mother and I went here to test drive the Ford Escape on black Friday, She loved it and said she wanted the car. From that moment on we waited approximately two and a half hours to sit down and process the financial part of it. Everyone apologized and said they were shorthanded, no one was doing anything about it. Not our problem, well it was now. After finally completing all of the finance paper work, in which one of their quote matrixes that breaks down the possible interest rates and payments etc., disappeared, VERY unprofessional and no one could find the mysterious paper that quoted us at a lower interest rate and we were stuck with a high interest rate despite having great credit, UNPROFESSIONAL. Regardless, after all that they said it would be ANOTHER HOUR until our car would be out of detailing. Unacceptable! we said we would take the car around 2:30 PM it was now almost 7 PM and they wanted us to wait another hour...I don't think so! We were clearly upset and even though our sales guy (MJ) and other Sales people asked if we were ok and simply apologized and blamed ALL of the issues on someone else , NO ONE DID ANYTHING ABOUT IT. Extremely poor management and I will never recommend this place to anyone for a car buying experience. Great vehicle & maintenance plan, nice and genuine sales person (MJ) but overall HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. -The fireman and his Mom.

On June 2015 I purchased for my 1st time a used car "As it" from Tropical Ford Orlando. I felt pressure from Sales I ended up purchasing a used car the same day I stopped by, they took my previous car licence plate and didn't want it to give it back to me. The car I purchased had the windshield LOSE AND ENGINE problems, they were very nasty in trying to help me they said "as it" and they were not in any obligation to help me. They did not provide me with a legal safety inspection in the car a purchased. In my opinion I would not recommend doing business with that dealership.

I spoke with Jack about purchasing a vehicle. He was quickly dismissive of what I had to say and offer and was unwilling to work with me on coming to a price for the vehicle I wanted. I couldn't even get him to quote me a price for shipping the vehicle to me. He cared little about me as a customer and would rather let a customer walk away than do business like a professional.

After we did our research on what vehicle we wanted and looking at other ford dealships in the area we chose to do business with Tropical Ford, not only was the location of the dealership convenient to us they have a perk that no other ford dealerships have Free lifetime oil changes.The team that I worked with was very informative and we were able to work out a good price on the Escape, the leasing process took 2 1/2 hours and that includes going through Ford's delivery check list and going over the MyTouch and auto parking systems that came with the Escape. If you are looking for a Ford I would recommend that you take a trip to South Olando and talk with Jay and look at the vehicles on the Tropical lot.

On Sunday, I went car shopping for a good family size car. I honestly was nervous, I didn't know what to expect since I had only purchased By-Owner. I walked inside the building and I didn't walk in all the way to look for someone, when Shane Sooner came up to greets me & was very friendly & knew exactly what to show me with the description of car I was looking for. He walked straight to the 2014 Ford Explorer. It was exactly what I was looking for. He showed me the interior of the car, then he showed me the rear of the car and I was excited to say it was the most easiest and funnest car shopping I had done. Shane made it so much easier and best of all his customer service was AWESOME! I am glad Shane was the associate that helped me and he is still helping me with some of my purchases. I just purchased my seat cover and I pretty much had to do was go in and pay because he had everything set up and ready to go. I will recommend anyone to go shop at Tropical Ford and ask for Shane because I had the BEST service. Lastly Gary was the financial guy that help me, and I enjoyed his charisma, He as well was AWESOME when it came to helping me with everything else in explaining all the financial stuff. I am very grateful & I appreciate all the help, the service, the joy, and the environment I went to go shop for my first Brand New 2014 Ford Explorer. If it wasn't for Shane I think I would still be car hunting. Which by the way I love my car!!

This is my second new Explorer and on both I found corrosion on the hood edge. I took it in and found it was out of warranty but I insisted it should be a recall issue having nothing to do with warranty. The body shop person I think his name was George sent it in to Ford for approval and was denied. After talking to Ford Customer care I was lets say ready for a fight at the dealership. I went in asked to speak to who ever was the person in charge and was not going to leave until I did. Jack Grace made a call and told me to have a seat for a minute. The next person I talked to was Brian the head of the service dept. By the time I left his office my whole attitude had changed.Brian told me he agreed with me and the hood would be replaced at no charge to me. It just so happened when the hood came in, I was having transmission problems. I went to talk to Brian about the hood and before I new it I was in a rental on my way home again at no cost to me. I was in the rental for a week waiting for trans repairs. When I picked up my Explorer I was on vacation for a week and took a road trip about 1000 miles it worked great. On the way back I noticed my steering wheel was not straight any more. I called Joey my service writer. Joey told me to bring it in it would be taken care of no problem and no cost. OUTSTANDING This is how to keep customers coming back and I always will. I don't expect everything at no charge, I have paid my share and paid a good price for the SUV.

My fiance was in need of a different car but I knew that was not going to be an easy task. She had a not so good credit rating and was upside thousands of dollars in her current car and had little money down. Went to several dealers looking at cars but hardly any would even want to assist and when we told them the monthly payment range most laughed. We were set in stone on our monthly budget and werent looking at cars that would not make it possible. So we looked online at Tropical Fords website and found the car we wanted. Called and made sure the vehicle was still there. After the vehicle was still there we talked with a Jonathan from the sales team and did a credit application online. We talked with Jonathan about the car and what we wanted and the payment range we needed. He then took it to finance and Jose advised to give it a few days and he will work a deal. They called us in a few days just like he said he would which was really nice, but what made the process better. They had come up with a deal that was lower than the monthly payments that we wanted by $30! Yeah thats right $30! Went to the dealership to look at the car but we were worried as we have a 5 year old. No worries! They have a customer lounge that is like a movie theater and turned on our 5 year olds favorite movie so we could conduct business. They are all extremely friendly at the dealership and make sure that you are taken care of. The environment inside Tropical Ford just makes you want to keep buying cars from them for life! They are not pushy as most dealerships usually are and are more than accommodating to your needs and the needs of your family. I would and have recommended them too many people. I guarantee if you go there and give them a try you wont be sorry. Youll wonder if youre truly in a dealership! Way to go Tropical Ford! Customers for life!

I found a used car advertised that appeared to meet our requirements based upon the on-line review / pictures. But upon physical inspection, the car was awful! I drove all the way to the dealer only to find the car was in poor shape with dents, dings and scratches, front bumper loosely attached and generally in poor overall condition (too many issues to list). The on-line review did not represent the car well as it did not mention any defects. I will not be doing any business with this dealer, ever!

8/11/2014 BEWARE OF THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT We were in the market to add another vehicle to our painting company fleet. We found a used Ford E250 in Orlando from a private owner. I called Tropical Ford which was the closest dealer to the gentleman who owned the truck. I spoke with Steve , a service rep asked him if they would inspect vehicle. He said yes, I'll be here on Saturday I'll make sure I take care of you. We drove down from Ocala on Saturday, met with the gentleman selling the vehicle, took it for a test drive... DROVE GREAT ! Tropical Ford put it on the lift said give us about an hour, we will let you know if we find anything wrong. After the first hour, Steve said their were some issues, showed us the list gave us a price and said it will not be any more than this. We purchase the vehicle from the private owner. After that happened, Steve says how the vehicle is NOT safe to drive back to Ocala and a $2500.00 fix went to a $4300.00 fix. We have NO CHOICE as it is now Saturday afternoon almost closing time, we leave the vehicle to be fixed with what we discussed and have on paper with Steve being promised it will be ready one week from then. Friday morning I decide to call Steve to confirm pick up for Saturday morning as discussed. He informs me that their were additional items they found and they fixed.... But their is an additional LARGE CHARGE. I asked to speak with the Service Manager (Gaylin). He said that additional items were fixed. I said who authorized that, I NEVER GOT A PHONE CALL ON ALL THE SUPPOSED EXTRA PARTS IT NEEDED AND TO TOP IT OFF THEY TOOK OFF PARTS THAT THEY DIDNT THINK THAT WAS THAT IMPORTANT ( front suspension, ball bearing etc) . Gaylin said Steve was suppose to call you and inform you of all the extra charges. I said he did not. Gaylin says " Shame on him". I say that's how you handle this, if this was my employee he would be fired on the spot. Gaylin said I'll do those items for half off and I promise it will run like a gem and be done Satirday afternoon. He called Saturday af 1:30 to let us know it was done they test drove it and everything runs perfect. I asked will you be there when we pick up. He said defiantly. We arrived and Gaylin just had left for the day we were told and to our disbelief Steve the service rep was there. We left with the truck got 18 miles on the highway and it overheated and we were stuck. I called to let them know, and of course no one could help. We towed the vehicle 77 miles back to ocala . I left Gaylin the Service manager a message Saturday. Today is Monday evening, still no phone call back. I also left a message for Brian , Galin's boss and Mr. Massey the owner. Obviously they got our money so they could care less that they did shady work, lie and deceive people. NO ONE SHOULD EVER GET VEHICHLES SERVICED OR BUY A VEHICLE HERE. MAYBEE THEN THE OWNER WOULD WAKE UP AND RESTAFF HIS EMPLOYEES WITH HONEST PEOPLE.

When I first walked into Tropical Ford I didn't think I would walk out with a brand new vehicle with absolutely no money out of pocket, but thanks to Elias he made it possible, he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the focus he sold me. Tropical Ford in Orlando, wasted our time and money. We placed an order for a new Ford Edge Limited with Eco-Boost and were told at that time that it would take only 6 to 8 weeks for delivery, we gave them a check for $5,000.00 for which they cashed on the 30th of January 2014 and (PUSHED THE BUTTON) for the order. After our order was skipped over and Tropical Ford blowing smoke up our rear ends, the Ford REP for the Orlando and surrounding area's told Tropical Ford to issue our money back. BUT DID THEY NO. They just continued blowing smoke, and making excuses here it was March 12th and they decided to tell us that our Edge would not be here until MAY 9th... (6 to 8 weeks yeah right) So my partner and I decided to have them cancel the order and issue our $5,000.00 back we took our business to SUN STATE FORD where we were treated with WAY better customer service. Let me also say that we were in a rental for this whole time paying for it out of our own pocket.... YIKES! Did they offer to compensate us because of this headache NOPE!! nor did they pay us back interest on that money they decided to hold on to.... Heck NO BAD BUISNESS is there practice, and not to mention they told us that they were not FORD that they just sell there cars.... UMMMMmmmm

William was very professional, honest and super helpful. He went above and beyond to help me find a new car that suits me. He was friendly and did everything. I had brought my kids along, and let me tell you they are a handful! getting to know William and finding out about his previous employment at Disney really made it feel like a magical experience. at one point my kids were getting impatient, William then went to the back and surprised my kids with toys, and coloring books! that made the process run a lot smoother! All in all the experience was superb not only for me but my children as well! I have to admit I was a little leery at first. I saw the car I wanted on line and I just didn't believe it would be there when we arrived. But after a 4 hour drive it was still there. The salesmen who helped us, William and Kader were awesome and they provided us with truly exceptional service. William even followed me to the airport so I could return my rental car and then he brought me back to the dealership to take home my 2013 Mustang. The only drawback was the negotiating, However my passion propelled me too move forward, We worked it out and I saved at least $2500 dollars! I actually paid less than the price my Ford dealership was offering as a sales price, not including tax, tag and dealer fee. I don't know how they did it, but they did!

Went to Tropical Ford to test drive a 2013 Fusion. They were pretty busy, which was actually a good sign. The Lady we talked to over the phone, Denicca, went out of her way to come to showroom floor and introduce us to William. William then took us on the test drive. His demeanor was very much appreciated as he was pleasant to correspond with. He was knowledgable about the product and put zero pressure on us. Don't go there, its the pits the worst ford dealership around. The service center locked my truck keys in there office and went home. It took 2 hours to get my truck keys back then to make things worse they dinged the rear passenger door breaking the paint. NOT EVEN A " SORRY" FOR ANYTHING.

I visited three different Ford dealerships in pursuit of a used Ford Edge. I came back to Tropical Ford because of Mr. Kader Fall. I had specific numbers that I needed to meet in order for the deal to work for my budget. He not only got me the deal I needed but was a gentleman throughout the entire process. As a woman purchasing a car alone, being treated with respect was the reason I came back to work with Mr. Fall. I had another deal that would have saved me $2000 at another dealership. That salesman was insensitive and disrespectful. I chose to buy my Ford Edge from Kader Fall and Tropical Ford simply because of the respect I was shown. I also would like to mention that Mr. Jose Guiterrez from the finance department was a pleasure to work with. He was able to shop my rate and improve my deal. Again, I wasn't pressured into anything and was able to make the deal that I was happy with. Lastly, none of this would have happened if it weren't for Carlos Sheppard in the service department. Carlos has won my business by being consistently professional and by always making my service visits a pleasant experience. I have been working with Carlos for a couple of years now and I have complete confidence in him and the service department. In closing I want to say that I purchased my car from Tropical Ford because of the three men listed above and the respect each one of them showed me. I could've saved $2000 at the other dealership but the respect these men showed me was worth more to me. I will tell everyone I know about this experience.

Once I made the decision to buy a new car I decided to visit different dealers in the area. My first experience was a complete disaster for the quality of service offered in a Nissan dealer. At the start of our day I told my husband, you know that "buying a new vehicle is my least favorite thing to do". The thought of shopping, dealing with the sales people and making the decision makes me shudder. I did not start out to shop at Tropical Ford or to even by a Ford. My last four vehicles have been Toyotas. After driving the new larger Tundra, I decided to test drive a Ford F150. We stopped at Tropical Ford. I'm glad we did. I walked the lot and nothing popped out at me. We were not bombared with salepersons!!! We walked to the showroom to have a hot dog (they were cooking out front for Memorial Day weekend). The MANAGER was cooking! After a nice conversation, he asked what we were looking for and asked Jose to go search the trucks for what I was looking to see. Jose came back with a beautiful truck. It had all the bells and whistles. This was the easy part. I'm not a "bells and whistles" kind of lady (and not a Ford lady either). We went for a test drive. It was a great ride. Still the easy part!The hard part that Jose nailed was selling me with out selling me!! Jose stayed with us the whole time but was never pushy. I could tell he loved his job. He was patient with my questions and had all the answers. My comment on my experience is, "Jose turned my least favorite thing to do into a good experience." I will return when I'm ready for my next vehicle.

He made sure that all my questions were answered and was very thorough with me in explaining all the upgrades and choices I had on my vehicle. Once I finally made up my mind in which vehicle to purchase he was present with me throughout the entire process from financing all the way to receiving the keys to my brand new vehicle. I have never had a good experience buying a vehicle--so I was really anxious about the car buying process. I was very concerned about overpaying because I did not understand how a dealership arrived at a final sales price, wasn't very good at negotiation, and was totally befuddled by the financing process. A close friend had just bought a 2013 Fusion from Tropical Ford and highly recommended her experience. She put me in contact with Gary Burton, the finance manager who paired me with Jose Gutierrez to help me find a vehicle. It took me two days to make a selection, but what I loved about Jose is that his faith that he would find me the right car never wavered for a moment. I test drove 4 different vehicle models plus discussed the pros and cons of 3 other models but Jose had unlimited patience and enthusiasm. Gary didn't let me down either--he thoroughly explained how they arrived at a sales price and how the financing was structured. I was very happy with the CPO 2013 Escape SEL that Jose showed me and took it home that day. Thank you Jose and Gary!!

Great Staff, and saved our vacation. I had my card serviced at home before we drove over 800 miles to make sure we had no problem, but that was to good to be true. After arriving to Orland, Florida the check engine light illuminated so I knew this was going to be a major concern. Was two Ford dealership in the area and saw Tropical had better reviews, so off we went. After drooping off the car I asked about a rental car and Ford had two and I picked one. They showed up and gave us a great deal because of Ford and this car was over the top! Then came the bad news, but it was given with tact and respect and that gave my confidence that they would do the job right. The had to replace the motor and do the job in less than two days. They stayed late and came in early the next day, just to make sure we could leave out as expected. They found several other concerns while doing the job and took care of it without charging extra. If you have any Ford troubles or concerns I would recommend this service department! They are top notch and you should talk with them first, but if you are reading this after going some where else, then give them a call you will be glad you did. I am the field supervisor for CBC Transportation, and one of the cars on my fleet had transmission problems. I decided to give Tropical Ford a shot. What a right decision! They directed me to their own tow service, who picked up my vehicle and dropped on site in less than 2 hours. Once I reached the dealer, my van was already diagnosed and parts had been ordered. I would never recommend this dealer to anyone unless they were an enemy!! My 99 ford f-250 was in for service last July. Ran ok for about a week. 1 week let me repeat 1 week! I finally found someone that would take the time to find out what was wrong. Dealer replace 2 coil packs 2 injector connectors and 1 spark plug 568.00. Miss fire came back a week later. No i was not going to take it back and be told it is something else altogether and pay another 500.00. It is not my main vehicle. Since then I have replaced all 10 coil packs at my expense still running bad. Had a guy today start taking out the coil pack and spark plugs to see if anything was burnt up because the truck would not throw a code on the computer. he got to cylinder #4 and come to find out the socket wouldn't fit the plug. between filling the tube with liquid and mirrors he found the old injector clips down inside the tube causing the coil to not be near the spark plug! HOLY at#$% REALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll be damned if i ever take a vehicle to a dealer again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was in the market for a new car. In looking I went to several dealerships along Orange Blossom Trail. I stopped at Tropical Ford and Jose Gutierrez greeted me as I stepped out of my car. He was very personnable and interested in what I was looking for and listened to me. He showed me several cars and had me drive them, I was very interested in the Ford Escape, but it had more extras than I needed, so I had to take it off of my list. I kept looking at other dealers. Jose kept in touch with me; then one day he called and said he had a car that had just come in and would I stop in to see it; I did only to find out that he had been looking for an Escape that fit what I needed. He had the color, and everything else I wanted. Of course that was THE car. He had me drive it to be sure I was satisfied, went over how everything worked and in general spent a lot of time with me. He came in to work on his day off to help me. Not everyone would do that.Jose has a concern for the person he is working with and cares. I would refer anyone looking for a car to go to Tropical Ford and ask for Jose Gutierrez.As a sidenote, the gentlemen in the Financial Dept. were very patient and helpful, I had a lot of questions. Jose was spectacular! When I first became in contact with Tropical Ford I was just browsing and wasn't sure what my options would be since my credit wasn't all that great. Jose contacted me via phone and let me know various options right away. He listened to my needs and was able to provide me with a good variety of options. Being that I was traveling over two hours, he went ahead and helped me out by taking the time to send me pictures of the vehicle I was interested in (various different angles) and even pre-qualified me so that I didn't waste a trip. When my mom, kids, and I arrived he was patient enough to be understanding of my kids being a little hyper and even offered us pizza and water. He made the experience very personable and customized everything solely based on my wants. From the moment I walked in, he introduced me to everyone on the team including various Sales Reps and the General Manager. Once I stepped in to speak with the Finance Rep I completely felt comfortable with the deal and truly felt that each one of them at this location were genuine. I am very impressed with not only Jose's expertise and knowledge, but how he was patient and understanding of my needs and willing to go out of his way to make sure the deal went through. The entire team is excellent and I would definitely refer all my family and friends to this location.

I have purchased several new cars in the past from Tropical Ford but this time was the best experience. I saw the vehicle that I wanted to look at online and set up a test drive. The next day I went to the dealership and test drove the vehicle and fell in love with it. The salesman Jose was wonderful. I had brought my 83 year old mother with me and he always made sure that she was comfortable. That meant a lot to me. I got such a good deal on the car. I wasn't in the market for a new vehicle but you might as well say that this vehicle is new. . . low miles, exceptionally clean,7yr/100000 mile warranty, so many perks. This dealership was recommended to me by my father who had purchased a number of vehicles from Tropical Ford in the past. Most recent being about 6 years ago when he and my mother purchased a brand new Ford Fusion. They received excellent service and when I purchased my new Ford Focus a couple months ago, I did as well. Jack Grace was very helpful and referred me to Devon Bignall who was great. He answered my questions with no problem and was so friendly the whole time. I actually went there two or three times because I couldn't make up my mind on style, then color, but the whole time, these two were very cooperative and helpful. I would definitely recommend this dealership to others and actually I already have. Whenever I am ready for another vehicle, Tropical Ford will be my first choice. No questions asked!!

I had been working with Amir Sahebi of Tropical Ford for several weeks prior to deciding to purchase my vehicle. He was extremely customer oriented with great professional ethnics. He escorted me through every step with patience and professionalism. Be honest I wasn't too happy with the managers as they were rude and didn't seem to have my best interests at hand. The managers spoke rudely to Amir right in front of me, which I know made both of us feel strange, but I decided to buy the vehicle due to Amir re-insuring me that he would do his best to make sure I reached my goals as far as financial terms and payments. On Friday July 13,2012 I had an appointment to trade in and purchase a new vehicle with Tropical Ford Motor company. Upon arrival I was introduced to a sales man named Kader Fall. I was interested in the new Ford Focus, but ended up not caring for that vehicle. Kader showed me a few other vehicles, but nothing was satisfying for me. The last vehicle Kader showed me was what I thought a 2009 Ford Freestyle because that's what he had told me. We test drove the car it seemed fine when he took it off the lot. I only drove the car 45mph. We returned to the dealer he said he didn't do the numbers and he would have another gentleman by the name of Carlos fill out the paper work. Carlos came to me and said they were going to take my trade in pay it off and I would drive off with the Ford Freestyle. He said I worked out the best deal and I signed off on the papers. When I left the dealer I drove my vehicle on the high way. The high way speed was min. 65 and as I was starting to increase my speed to 55 I started to notice that the vehicle was dragging when I step on the gas and the car started to shake. It continued to do this as I increased to 60. Another thing I noticed was when I back the car up the steering wheel feels hard when starting to turn the wheel it does not glide. It also makes a whistling noise when I turn the wheel as well. When I returned home I was looking over my paper work and I also notice the vehicle was a 2005 instead of a 2009. Immediately the next morning I called Mr. Fall on his cell phone and I didn't get an answer. I tried several times to get in touch with him on his phone left messages for him to call back and he never did. I then decided to call the store up and have them transfer me over to speak with him. The receptionist would place me on hold and then tell me he's busy with a client or in a meeting and he would call me back. She also asked me what was my calling in reference to and I had explained to her my situation. I continued to call Kader up to Monday, but was still getting no response so I ended being transferred to a man by the name of Raleigh Geddings. I explained to Raleigh I was not happy with my vehicle and I wanted to know how to go about getting my old vehicle back. He then laughed and very sarcastic with me and told me we don't do that and I needed to bring in my car to get serviced. I told him I didn't want to do that my schedule is tight and I couldn't bring it in. He kept persisting me to bring the car in on my next day off and I told him which might have been Wednesday. I also had told him I was going to end up making a car payment on my old car and would also be making a payment on the new car I purchased. He then replied in a VERY sarcastic voice saying I signed a contract and I could NOT get my old vehicle back and I was stuck with the one I have. I was charge yesterday July 17th for my old car and now I'm about to be charge for the new car I purchased. I feel I have been involved in a scam. They do not return my phone calls and continue to give me a run around.

Tropical ford is running a bait and switch program. They bring you in by telling you that you'll get this wonderful APR, supposedly run your credit and tell you that you qualify for this great APR, have you sign the papers and take home the car, and then a week and a half later call and accuse you of not having given them their money because their financing didn't go through and suddenly you do not qualify for their wonderful APR. Do NOT shop at Tropical Ford if you want to keep the car you purchased and not spend weeks getting the run around. The manager is extremely rude, Jonathan is arrogant and a liar.

Brought my car in to have a new key made - when I arrive back at work - realized that the old key had not been programed. Called Derick - he suggested I try a series of steps which did not work (this is the worked that I paid Tropical Ford to complete). Had to take the car back to the dealership the next morning to reprogram the old key. I requested the labor charge be credited. First talked to Service Manager (who did not introduce himself or get out of his chair to address my concern) - he offered an oil change - asked to speak to his manager - escorted into Fix Base Ops Managers office (again did not introduce himself) - now offered a future credit - he commented that "I would most likely not come back for serice so go ahead and give me credit". I explained that when a customer has an issue, if it is handled correctly, that customer can become an advocate for that business - if not, they can write a review and tell all their friends as I am doing now. My question is - is $89 really worth an unhappy customer? This dealership has not gotten the message the customer experience is the new playing field - I explained that I had own only Ford brands since I was 17 and they just did not care. I will not be replacing my cars that have 90K and 130K miles on them at Tropical Ford - all for $89 issue.

Tropical ford is a great dealership,their overall knowledge of their cars were excellent.I give Tropical Ford a 5 star rating in all catagories because they were friendly,knowledgeable and worked hard at making sure i was satisfied before leaving. The customer service i received from Jeff L. Jack and the rest of the staff was the best that i have had in searching for a vehicle.The price was outstanding and i would recommend this dealership to anyone...5 THUMBS UP!!!!!

My Wife and I rated Mr. Terry Bailey as the best sales executive we have ever done business with in a Ford or any dealership. I have personally purchased two previous Ford vehicles at different dealerships and received a satisfactory treatment and Terry is by far the best. All i can say is THE BEST PLACE EVER!!! even tho i had bad credit and still young they where able to get me a 2010 converitble mustang telling me dreams come true long as you have faith and work hard and when Terry say dont worry where gonna get you that car oh ya they gonna get you that car even if it takes 12 hours lol so thank you guys for all the hard work yal did for me and sorry terry you had to get cuss out to see if everything was good for me lol i highly appreciate everything yal did so ya i recommend this dealership. =)

Devon at tropical Ford was able to beat other Ford Dealerships offers, and got me a great deal. They treat you like a winner at Tropical Ford, providing twice the trade in value of my old Ford Truck (also bought from tropical ford) verses another ford dealership.

I appreciated the honesty, yes honesty, and friendliness of Terry Bailey. He put me at ease when he recognized my nerves and he did not take advantage of that. He tried hard to make sure that I was put in a safe car and I felt like he was working on my behalf. He made it known that, yes, they will be making money off of me but it will be beneficial for both parties. Everyone in the dealership was extremely friendly and so helpful. I also want to give a thank you to the financial analyst, I'm sorry, I don't remember her name, she was amazing and how she got the deal I got, was truly a blessing from God. I thank everyone who helped me through the process of my first car. There were a lot of lessons learned and I know now, if I don't want something to speak up, I'm very thankful for everyone here at this dealership. Please continue to work with individuals with their finances in mind, I truly felt that's what they did for me.

I liked the atmosphere, relaxed no pressure attitude these guys have not to mention the Marine Veterans on staff. Very professional and had all the answers we were looking for. They put us in the car We wanted and got us financed at a great interest rate with no money down. Back in a Ford again!

I purchased a 2012 Ford Escape from Devon/Tropical Ford. This is not the first car that I have purchased from Tropical, and my whole family has used Tropical Ford and Devon Bignall for years when purchasing cars. I have always received excellent service from Devon. I do not feel pressured and feel he truly cares about finding a car that meets my needs and desires. He is always faithful about following up with me after the car purchase to make sure everything is going okay. If I ever have any concerns about my car, I would not hesitate to take it in to the Servicing dept. I have used them with my previous cars and am pleased with their service.

came to dealership knowing exactly what i wanted. They didnt have any on the lot. Instead of trying to sale me on something they did have they contacted another dealership. Within minutes the exact car I wanted was there! These guys are great! highly recomend.

My initial introduction was a bunch of salesmen standing around shooting the breeze. I had to ask if a salesman was available to help me. I told a salesman what I was looking for(I'm not sure he understood me-he barely spoke English)and he told me he didn't know if they had what I wanted and would just have to settle for what they had on the lot. Then he headed for the F150s which were at the opposite end of the dealership form the F250s, which is what I wanted. Before I got to my car, another salesman got my attention and showed me the trucks I wanted to see and then pawned me off to another inept salesman. Eventually, I ordered a truck. That was 2Feb2011, today is 5May2011 and because of a comedy of errors, I won't get the truck for another 6 to 8 weeks. I just called Ford Customer relationship center and was told they couldn't help me, that they would have to forward my grievence to someone who might call me next week. I won't bother this dealership with my business again and I'm not really happy with Ford motors, either.

Awful place. Tropical Ford is stuck in the stone ages. They have piss poor customer service, no loaner cars, and a bunch of uneducated drop outs working for them . I had the unpleasing experience of meeting the controller and owner by accident. What a joke, they have no clue what is even going on in their own store and walk around like they are the most important people in the world. The ownder wont even talk to you, parks his car in the middle of the service drive blocking me from being able to pull out and leave. I wont be back for service, and I sure as heck wont buy another car from them. Ford...how have you not yanked Tropical's franchise from them yet?

Buying experience was horrendous , car needed body repairs and they weren't done till 6 hours before picking it up. Paint was still tacky! payoff was sent late to toyota so it accumulated more interest. Refund for payments we already made to toyota were held back, had to withhold signing title to old car and mailing it back till they issued a check. Owner Wanye Massey was no help, always unavailable or at lunch. Had tyo corner him in showroom when he came in from lunch. We should have known he was low class too, when we saw he carried a folding knife prominently displayed in his rear pocket. What executive do you know resorts to this type of gutter mentality in his own showroom. After 2 to 3 weeks of back and forth bickering with them they conceded and issued a refund. Employees are snotty and once they have your cash you are scre**d.Calling Ford was a waste too they dont care as all dealers are independent. Stay away from this dealer at all costs.

Save yourself time, go to another dealership. I went to look at a Taurus and a fusion, just wanted to get some information to show my wife. I specifically told the sales associate that I would not buy for a few months simply because I was working out a few financial items. But he continued to push to "save me 50% today!" Then when I got annoyed and just wanted to take a brochure home, he brings the manager out and he starts to interrogate me thinking I'm a secret shopper! I will not be buying my next car from here.

i took my 2000 ford escape there for an oil change. this place, as far as service, is rotten. they came back with some old dirty tranny fluid on a piece of dirty paper and said my tranny oil had to be replaced. besides trying to tell me everything they could add on to the ticket need to be done.when i'm not some young girl who doesn't know anything about cars. plus i had it replaced by the dealer i bought it from only 4000 miles before that. so i demanded the guy go back with me and pull another sample from my escape while i watched, which he refused to do. he fought with me for awhile and said the other dealer ripped me off, etc. i said well let's call the other dealer and get that service manager on the phone and you can tell him he ripped me off and didn't change the fluid he charged me for. well of course he refused. so i left. when i got home i checked it and it was fine and not brown and filled with metal shavings, and filth, etc. like the sample he showed me at tropical. beware when having service done at this place. don't just take their word for it...make them prove it.
