I just bought a new 2021 Subaru Forester from Twin City Subaru. I worked with Jenn Adams, a relatively new sales associate who is focused on the customer and providing excellent service. She is friendly, helpful, and honest and did a great job answering my questions, reassuring me, and getting me into my new ride. Also involved were Desmond, Jose, and Matt to round out the team. The really great thing (for me) is that they all followed through on everything they agreed to and it was a pleasure to deal with these folks.

Everything was excellent! Frankie and Matt were really helpful and friendly throughout all the paper signings, insurance updates, etc. The Subaru Forester was in mint condition, drove perfectly, and is loaded with all sorts of new features (used 2017 model). Bryan was great to work with in the purchase of our used 2013 Honda Crosstour. Even though it was not a Subaru he went out of his way to answer any questions we had and if he did not know the answer, he would find it. We were there past hours and we never felt rushed. I had no idea that when I walked in at 5:30pm to look at the car that I would be driving home with it at 8:00pm, it was quick and painless and I absolutely LOVE my new car. I booked my car in for service weeks in advance. Using their website I had to enter a TON of information including VIN#, etc. After all that it said I would get a message confirming it. A day later I got an email saying a certain service manager would be contacting me soon. After a week I emailed back and got a response that someone would contact me soon. After another week I called and was told I was not on the schedule. Since it was for a weekday and I was planning to drive over an hour to get there, I'd already blocked the day out. I was told they were very sorry but this has been happening with others who used the online booking - so why are they keeping the online booking up? And rather than rescheduling on the spot, I was transferred to a service manager's voicemail. I left my name and number, but she never called back. They don't want my business? Fine.

We recently leased a new 2016 Subaru Forester from Twin City. It is roughly 2 months old with 3500 miles on it. Then the oil light came on. Checked oil, it did not read on dipstick at all. 2 quarts low, at least. Brought it to Twin City where Domenic Cerminara told us that losing 2 quarts of oil is normal due to the break-in period. Especially because the car is a standard shift. Huh? What? Seriously? We called other Subaru dealerships, nobody has ever heard of such a thing. Their solution? change the oil and bring it back every 1200 miles so they can record how much oil its lost.That would be somewhat reasonable if the car was a 2006, not a brand new 2016. Mason the manager then tried telling us the same thing. Break in period. yeah right. Twin City Subaru is garbage.

I would recommend this dealership because they are the most informative sales representatives, they were great about answering any questions i had. And they were just fun people to be around, they made sure the process not seem boring or long, like the car process will usually feel! They took care of me very well! Previously, I have owned 25 cars and trucks since my first one as a teenager in 1952. So I have dealt with many sales people and dealerships. Bryan Chenvert and Twin City Subaru are right up there at the top in my estimation. Bryan showed me in great detail a range of models and prices with no attempt to influence my decision. I felt valued as a customer and a friend. I am assured that I will continue to have him as a resource if I have questions or concerns in the future. Twin City Subaru beat previous trade in allowances I had sought by a significant amount. I'm not certain of the young man's name with whom I dealt in finance. He was friendly and knowledgeable while making sure that I qualified for the best rate.

They were very helpful and stayed in the budget I had to work with. They were very friendly and helpful. I never felt pressured to buy on the spot. I was offered a car to try out over night since I was skeptical of buying a different model than what I was used to. That made all the difference for me. I loved the car after I got a real feel for it. It's hard to know with just a short trip around the block if it's right for you when you've had a different models for many years. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I was doing some internet research and out of curiosity, sent in a quote request. Not only did I receive the quote with all the features I wanted, but I received a personalized video of Bryan introducing himself in front of a vehicle he had on the lot with everything I requested. It was like I was at the dealership without the sales pressure. I scheduled an appointment and walked out a couple hours later with the car I wanted. I want to start by saying I did research for seven months before buying a car at Twin City Subaru. I Searched Maine, NH and Vermont and found their reviews to be great and now I know why. I had emailed to get a quote on a Subaru Outback that had just come in and had no photos of it online. I was contacted right away and I was even sent a little video clip on YouTube from Alex Nicholson next to the car I was very interested in. My husband and I made an appointment to see them two hours away and I'm glad we did. We loved it. While we were there our daughter locked us out of our car. They were more than happy to help us break into the car with their kit, that made my day. We ended up getting the car at a great price with the help of Desmond Culcleasure. He was great and super friendly as well. I really couldn't have asked for a better team of sales associates. They even called a week later to make sure we were happy and all set. They will see us again for sure when we need another vehicle.I will keep you posted in the future as well but for now I'm super happy..

Bryan was a great salesperson from the get -go. Upon my initial inquiry, he immediately responded with a great video of a car that might work for me, which was very helpful since I don't live in the immediate area. I had been looking at certified crosstreks at St. J Subaru and the experience at Twin City was by far superior. Desmond also worked with me regarding financing, and I was impressed with his straight forward approach and the fact that he actually came over and sat with me and worked out the terms I wanted (none of the usual finance manager in a back office somewhere BS.)I will highly recommend Twin City and Bryan to my friends and co-workers, and this is where I will go when it is time to buy my next car. I went in Twin City on January 26,2016 and dealt with Jeff Moser, had a great feeling towards the relationship and I thought we were going to be able able to do business.Got a very different surprise when I brought my wife in on Thursday the 28th.started the process making the deal and everything went south.Desmond started out nice but when he finally realized i would NOT pay full priceand take a beating on my trade, well I thought he got kinda rude.But I do say thank cause i drove 2 hours south and saved $2000.00 om the same car and I did not get raked on my trade.Thanks John McLean and the "TEAM" at Brattleboro Subaru,were you really are treated like family and the owner is there, not out walking the dog

The sales crew at Twin City Subaru is amazing. My husband and I had three different meetings with them over a couple of weeks, two separately, and a final one together, and during each visit everyone we dealt with went above and beyond. During my solo visit, and our final deal signing visit, our 2.5 year old son was with us. No one batted an eye. He was made to feel as welcome as us adults, to the extent that he felt right at home during his second visit, and has asked to go back to visit his buddies Joe, Desmond, and Mike. After our last visit, when the little guy was exhausted and we were transferring our gear to the new car, he misplaced his favorite stuffed animal. The sales staff helped my husband look while I was staying with our son and, ultimately, it was Desmond, the Sales Manager, who found the little bunny. Toddler meltdown averted. In addition to the friendly and personalized service, Twin City Subaru has great prices, and we are looking forward to taking our vehicles there for servicing in the future.

I scheduled an app't to meet with Bryan to discuss my interest in buying a Forester. He met me promptly and we discussed my wants/needs to help me find the perfect car. He was very thorough and showed me all the Foresters available on the lot pointing out the various models and colors, We went for a test drive which included paved and unpaved roads. As I live on an unpaved road, it was important for me to see how the car handled on different surfaces, Once I decided on the model I needed to choose the color. Initially, I loved the Venetian Red, but after looking at it up close, I knew that after awhile I would find it too dark a color. I saw the Silver Pearl with the matching interior and knew that was the perfect car for me. Brian and Dan patiently took me through the whole buying process as I had many questions. I would highly recommend Bryan as a sales consultant. The dealership staff was friendly and courteous and I was pleased with the overall service of the dealership.

We just traded our 4Runner to lease (for the first time!) a 2016 Subaru Forester and we are SO grateful for Bryan's help every step of the process!! He was so patient as we test drove several different cars and learned more about leasing vs. buying and this was especially appreciated because we brought our 11 month old with us each time! He and the entire sales care were so knowledgeable, and we enjoyed sitting down with Dan as well as added support from Desmond and other sales staff. Bryan is new to the 802 Subaru team and he seems like an excellent addition because our process was seamless and we feel like we got both a quality vehicle and service the entire time. We went to Twin City to just look at Subaru but with the help of Mike Rivet and Dan Barone we drove home the next evening in a 2015 Subaru Forester. We could not be happier, Mike was not pushy, he listened to what we wanted and needed. The forester has the clearance we need on our back road and the vehicle rides like a dream. On two occasions on two days, we spoke at length with him; we found him to be conscientious, professional and humorous. My husband and I were in search of a new Subaru. We had an idea of what we were looking for, but still wanted to test drive a couple of options to make sure. Twin City was recommended to me by a friend. After checking out some of the inventory online, we decided to give it a try and made the drive from Williston.We were lucky to work with Mike Rivet. He greeted us with a sincere enthusiasm that did not go unnoticed. He was very helpful and knowledgeable, and was eager to answer any questions we may have had. Fortunately, Twin City had the exact same car, knew how to deliver a wonderful service, and earned my business. The sales process was easy, straight forward, and stress-free. I would like to start off by saying that I opted to drive to this Subaru dealership instead of one located significantly closer to where I live. I have to say after a long tiring day shopping around for my new car I walked into Twin City Subaru very discouraged. Within minutes of meeting Mr. Jeff Moser I felt the headache of the day fade away. His communication/sales skills are impeccable to say at the very least. He was collected and very detailed as he explained to me all of my purchase options while keeping in mind exactly what features in a vehicle I desired. Jeff gave me car buying options that best fit my lifestyle instead of pressuring me into a purchase i was not certain I wanted. This was my first "new vehicle" purchase and I had no idea what I was in for. Finally after purchasing the vehicle of my choice and before driving off the lot Jeff went through every feature it has to offer not missing a single detail. Before I could ask a question he had an answer! Simply amazing! Twin City has now put us in 3 subarus and has been great to deal with on all occasions, both for sales and service. They sent us a flyer with an offer to buy back our 21\2 year old Impreza. So we went to Jeff Mosher to check it out. We have known him for 30 plus years in his work at a previous job and have always appreciated his salesmanship, knowledge,honesty,and just plain fun sense of humor.We were thinking about leasing and were concerned whether is was a good fit for us. We knew Jeff would give it to us straight. I told him I didn"t want it to take 7 hours like my brother does at his dealer to which Jeff replied he wouldn't want me around that long anyway. Three hours it was all done driving away with a new leased Crosstrek. I have had an issue with check engine, cruse control and another light coming on in my 2012 Forester. I brought it to Twin City on four occasions to get fixed. The light kept coming back on until the fourth service when they had to put in a new emissions system. The third service resulted in having to bring my car back yet again because they ordered the wrong part, which ended up ultimately not even resolving the issue.The last time I brought my car to Twin City to get the new emissions system installed, my car was there for two weeks (I was away for one of the two weeks). When I got my car back, there was a crack in the windshield that was not there when I dropped it off. I had dropped off my car with the gas tank over 3/4 the way full, and got it back with less than 1/4 of a tank. Someone had clearly driven my car as the time on my clock was changed, the radio stations were changed, and there were crumbs all over my console. I found out that one of the service employees had drive my car to and from his home and work somewhere between 100 and 200 miles. No one asked my permission. This is completely unprofessional. I will never bring my car here again.

My Forester was turning out to be larger than I needed and my monthly payments were kind of high. I went into Twin City to see if I could downsize and get into something new, but with better gas mileage and lower payments. Joe Sweeney helped me get a new Crosstrek and my monthly payments were reduced substantially, not to mention the money I will save in gas mileage. I was looking for Subaru, but not sure which model. I had done web searches on the Crosstrek, Outback & Forester. I am a quilter so I need space to take my sewing machine and tables to quilting retreats. Jeff pulled all 3 models together on the lot so I could sit in them and really get a sense of the space for my purpose. I was able to ask question and talk to Jeff openly about what I thought and I evaluated each one. When I sat in the last one ( the Forester) I knew. Seeing the cargo space also was a selling point. I took Jeff for a ride, putting the car through some testing for my driving style. The car responded well, and so did Jeff. I was able to pick a color (Bronze) from the lot and was able to drive it home that afternoon. This was my first cross over type vehicle and for my equipment, it will be easier to load then the trunk of a sedan. I am super happy Jeff took the time to let me do a comparison, without pressure or prodding. Every morning I get in to drive to work and say " this is a nice car, and I deserve it".

On Saturday (2/21/15) I stopped in at Twin City Subaru to see a used 2011 Mazda 2. It was snowing out and the vehicle body was hard to see. I tried with my cellphone flashlight to take a good look at it, and it all seemed ok. Jim Glassford and I came to an agreement on the price, and I left with the car. Sunday, when the sun came up, it became obvious that the car had rust issues under the paint of the roof and hood. When Twin City Subaru reopened on Monday I brought the car back, and they very kindly agreed to cancel the deal due to the hidden condition issues. Jim seemed to be honestly unaware of the rust, and was very helpful in facilitating the return.Because they were kind to me, when I decided to buy a new Subaru Impreza instead of a used vehicle, I called Jim first. I knew that they did not have the car I wanted on their lot, but I figured they might be able to do a dealer trade for it. I had even located the car I wanted only 30 miles away at Saint J Subaru and I told Jim that I would buy it from Twin City Subaru if he could get it for me.Jim asked me for a credit card deposit of $1,000 to try and obtain the vehicle for me. He told me that the deposit was to show that I was serious, and that if we did not come to terms it would be refunded. I gave him the requested deposit under these conditions.Later in the day (2/27/15) Jim called me back and told me that the car I wanted was not available because it had been sold, but that they had located and secured a similar vehicle. I agreed to come into Twin City Subaru on Saturday morning, and planned to purchase the similar vehicle if it all checked out.On Saturday morning, before driving to Twin City Subaru, I decided to check on the status of the car I really wanted. Saint J Subaru told me that the car was still available, and that I could buy it that morning if I wanted to. Realizing Twin City Subaru had misrepresented the availability of the car I wanted, I canceled the deal with Twin City Subaru and bought the car from Saint J Subaru instead.After sending an email message to Jim, and explaining to him why I was not going to buy the alternate vehicle from Twin City Subaru, I received the following email message from Sales Manager Chris Davis, "Mr Garland-We will not be refunding your full deposit, this is the second time you have back out of a purchase, we have located and then swapped in a vehicle for you, we have cleaned two vehicles for you. We will refund half of your deposit. Chris Davis"I went back and forth over email with Twin City Subaru for the rest of the day. They were arguing with me about returning my deposit. I reminded them that I also had incurred costs in trying to buy a car from them and suggested that they just refund my deposit and we part as friends. Finally, on 3/5/15 the full deposit refund appeared on my credit card statement.So, they were kind to me in allowing me to return a used car, but should have just told me that Saint J Subaru would not dealer trade them for the car I wanted.

When I went to Twin City and was ready to talk to someone, I went inside and waited for Jim to become available because I had a great buying experience the first time around. My daughter and I had a great experience buying her a used car. The price was fair and they allowed us plenty of time to check it out, including putting it up on a lift. The car came with a 12 month/12,000 mile wide-ranging guaranty that included manufacturer-required service (this was based on the condition of the car and is not always available) which decided the deal for us. The salesman Isaac and the business manager Desmond were quality people. The only negative was having to endure being sent to a room for an attempt to sell us all manner of extended warranties. This was so even though I made it clear at the outset that we were pressed for time and weren't interested. (The guy in the room--not the salesman or the business manager--said it "was legally required" although as a lawyer I doubt that highly.) Despite this heartburn I still give them a superior rating. I suggest in the future they consider making it easier to opt out of this.

My recent experience in leasing a new Subaru impreza from twin city Subaru was great. When I got there Tony helped me find the car that I was looking for and showed me all of its features. Desmond helped make the financial process very easy and before I knew it I had a new car. I would recommend twin city Subaru to anyone who is looking for a new car, they have great service and everyone is very nice and honest.

I've bought many cars in my life and I usually know pretty much what I want and what is a fair price, but I usually dread the process since I expect the usual sales gamesmanship that ensues. However, dealing with Tony at Twin City was a very pleasant surprise. Tony was straight forward, professional, and generally just a nice guy and both my wife and I really enjoyed working with him. The whole process went smoothly, it felt honest, and I didn't feel over pressured. I highly recommend working with Tony if you need a new car. We also spent time with Desmond, who was very pleasant, and fun to talk with. He treated us very courteously and remained friendly and engaged despite the fact we did not buy any add on warranties. I knew what I wanted in a car and their website listed a few at the dealership. There is another Subaru dealership which is closer to me but I chose to drive further to Twin City, for their good reputation. I walked in and told Tony what I was looking for, one minute later we walked into the lot. They had a 2015 Subaru Impreza Sport with the exact features and options I wanted. A quick spin around the block and I knew I wanted it. I filled out the required paperwork and told them what I was looking to spend for a monthly payment. I finance the whole car. The financial manager at the dealership told me he contacted a few banks to get the best interest rate. He got me a payment within $15 of my budget, but in the end I opted for an extended Subaru warranty coverage which added $100 a month.About two hours later I was driving home in the new car. It could not have gone any easier. No pressure, Tony showed me all the features and controls in the car, he knew what he was talking about instead of just reading it from the manual. The showroom was nice, clean, modern, friendly staff. This is the third Subaru I've owned and they are fantastic cars. Twin City is worth the trip for your next purchase!

We have purchased and serviced our cars via Twin City for 20+ years and it has always been an excellent experience.Most recently, our daughter (who always brings her Subaru up from Boston to be serviced at Twin City after unhappy experiences at the Boston Subaru dealership) discovered that her beloved 2003 Subaru Imprezza was finally in need of replacement after many years of New England winters. Naturally, this happened at the worst possible time - right at Christmas. Jim Glassman in Sales had us on the road again in record time with a beautiful 2012 Imprezza at a great price. In addition, the fabulous Twin City Service team (headed up by Lee during our Christmas adventures), did great work running our 2009 Imprezza through a last minute service, troubleshooting, and tire changes to make sure we had wheels over the holiday and that everything was ship-shape in time for our daughter's return to school in Boston. It was pretty wild for a day or two, but Lee's consistent smile and repeated assurances that "Sure, We can do that." made the whole process much less stressful.Way to go, Twin City!

I had a two hour appointment to have a remote starter installed on a family member's Subaru recently purchased at Twin City . It was six hours ( 11 a.m . until after 5 p.m. ) before they finished .During that time , no staff member troubled themselves to keep me informed as to why there was such an egregious delay or to offer a courtesy car . I approached the service desk twice and was given inaccurate information as to when the car would be ready . After six hours from checking in , I was sent on my way , however; they neglected to give me the control for the starter . Massive Fail in service and communication .

Our family was in the market for a new Subaru Forester configured in a way and color not readily available. We looked for our car in several states, emailed and talked with a number of dealers, but were unable to find what we are looking for. Before returning from VT, I called Twin Cities Subaru and talked with Dan Barone and Chris Davis to see if they might be able to help with availability and a quote. I am glad I did, because they were the last of many Subaru dealers I contacted.From the get-go, both were incredibly forthcoming with the information we needed, friendly and honest. They worked with our family to get the car we wanted and beat every other dealer's quotes. Dan and Chris were great communicators and kept us abreast of status of our order. When I got to VT, they generously offered to pick me up as I did not have a car yet. Once I arrived, everything was set up, there were no surprises and the terrific customer service continued. The new car paperwork and financing went quickly and painlessly.Dan Barone and his colleagues made the process uncomplicated and dare I say a bit fun, too. He took the time to explain all the features, made sure I left with a full tank of gas and an offer to be available for future questions.We are ordinarily very critical of any car dealings and ran into some nasty dealers along the way, but we were so pleased with Twin Cities Subaru. In summary, Dan Barone and Chris Davis not only provided us with the best deal (after shopping around with about a dozen dealers in several states), but also gave us the best car buying experience we had encountered thus far. We would go back to Twin Cities Subaru in a heartbeat.

This was our second time working with and leasing a car at Twin City. Tony is great to work with and helped make the process go very smoothly. He's friendly, knowledgable and helpful, but not pushy. The finance department was also great to work with - we discussed our options for service plans and Desmond was upfront about the numbers and made sure everything in our lease agreement was very clear, which is very much appreciated. We had planned on trading in one lease for another, but ended up leaving with 2 cars! In less than 4 hrs, we went over model options, test drove two cars, worked out details for a trade in, signed paperwork and drove away two just cleaned cars. Many thanks to Twin City Subaru and in particular to Jim Glassford for being very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable during our recent process of figuring out which car we wanted to buy. Jim took time to answer all our questions and was also very flexible in accommodating our schedule. The first day we went there I said I really wanted to see the insides and outsides of the cars, even though it was raining a bit, and Jim seemed very happy to stand out there, show us the cars and answer all our questions. Jim then called us a few days later to let us know about end-of-the-month incentives they had going on. When we went back for test drives of the Forester and Cross-Trek, Jim was again very accommodating about our changing and tight schedules. We bought a 2015 Hybrid Cross-Trek, which is great on the mountainous dirt roads we live on, and great fun to drive. Twin City Subaru was also easy for us to get to, the dealership looked very well-run, and everyone was very friendly and professional. I would really recommend the car, the dealer, and the sales person. I also want to thank Desmond Culcleasure who was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable regarding extended warranty options.

I felt hounded and pressured, and at one place wasn't even told the price of the car until I was there a 1/2 hour! None of that happened at Twin City! The prices are clearly listed right on the car. We had had the pleasure of dealing with Mike Hassett. He greeted us with a smile and listened in detail to the the car we were looking for, a white WRX Premium. They had ad a silver WRX and Mike went in and got keys and we took it for a ride. It was very similar to the white GT we had purchased from Twin City in 2005. After the ride, we sat down with Mike to see if there was a white WRX available but there was none to be found. We then ordered what we wanted from Mike and it was delivered the end of August. Mike called us right away! We then had a few extra things done to the car which Mike handled for us promptly. I was driving a MiNI Cooper, but needed to revisit owning an all-whhel drive workhorse to handle the Vermont winters: Subaru. After paying a cursory visit to another Vermont Subaru dealer and not being impressed with my service, I was happy I had a choice, and visited Twin City Subaru. When I owned my previous Subie, I took it there for service, and was always pleased. Salesperson, Joe Sweeney upheld that model, and my experience leasing a new Impreza Sport was a pleasure. Joe took a lot of time, answered a lot of questions happily, and helped me consider my options.. He saw on my trade-in that I only drive about 14,000 mile per year, and suggested that I lease rather than buy--no pressure either way, he objectively presented the facts. I'll use Twin City as my dealership in the future, without question, and will request Joe Sweeney as my sales rep.

I was looking for a 2015 Outback, and Jm helped me get exactly what I wanted. Since it was the beginnng of the model year and there was only one Outback on the lot, this meant finding the car elsewhere. Jim followed up by telephone as did Desmond. Both made my experience easy and fun. I appreciated their even getting me new permanent plates. Jim carefully went through the way the car worked amd explained the differences berween the various types of Outback. I did not get the feeling of beng rushed. Desmond was helpful with financing and information about various maintenance plans available. I don't know the name of the service person who helped me by putting on the splash guards, etc., two days after purchase, but he was very friendly and efficient, also, and the service waiting area (and popcorn and donut holes) were very pleasant.

After my beloved Honda CRV got totaled, I became interested in the Subaru Forester. After having a disappointing/frustrating experience at our local Subaru dealer in MA, my husband then located the car that I was looking for at a dealer in Vermont. Jeff Moser promptly answered our email inquiry and called us on the phone and quickly worked us up a very fair deal. He was responsive and helpful and direct and a true pleasure to work with. Our only glitch was that we should've paid with a certified check to insure immediate processing of the title (rather than the easier process of bringing a personal check). However, even with this out-of-state-glitch, Jeff made sure the paperwork got expressed to us in time for me to meet the 7 day MA deadline for registering my car. It should be noted that he also fast tracked some extra accessories that I wanted added to my car for purchase and it was ready, as promised, with all my personalized bells and whistles!!Everyone at Twin City Subaru was very friendly and welcoming. For someone who usually HATES going to any car dealer because of the "circling vulture" feeling, I was VERY appreciative of this painless and enjoyable experience! Oh, and they were wonderful allowing our lab, who joined us for the ride, to rest in the AC building during our transaction. In summary: An A+ car buying experience.and I HIGHLY recommend Jeff Moser!

When we checked on availability of delivery of the cars "in-transit", Joe Sweeney contacted us by e-mail and we set up an appointment - he also send us a video file introducing himself, so we would know who to look for when we came to the dealership. Joe was friendly and knowledgeable, answering all our questions and walking us through our choices. When we came to our decision on a car, he was able to offer an excellent trade-in value for our Equinox and offered us a great price on the Crosstrek. When it looked as if our car would not be delivered for 6 weeks, Joe was able to arrange to get us in a car in just a few days instead. His follow-up is great - he's always responsive, calls back right away, and delivers what he promises. I'll be going back to TwinCity Subaru, and Joe in particular, for my next car.

I was desperate for manual transmission and Twin Cities was the secret! They not only have bigger stock but service has been incredible so far. Feels like family. Honest and cooperative, which is smart because you can check it all online now anyhow. Popcorn is free but more importantly delicious. Bentley the Aussie shepherd ( I think) entertains you while you wait for paperwork. I will be using dealership a lot even though it's 90 min. away...I trust them. Right now I'm in loaner while they treat upholstery--was no problem at all.

The actual negotiation was done on the telephone, the next day we went to the dealership everything was very professional and smooth , since I had not bought a new car in 13 years I see that the experience has really changed , because of the internet pricing has become much more open and easier to deal with. With that being said the relationship is much less adversarial and actually you are just being helped thru the paperwork and introduction to the features of the car.So far everything went well, now over the next 13 years hopefully the relationship with service will also be satisfactory.

This is the second Subaru we bought at TC. Jim Glassford was the salesperson the first time around and that all went really well. So this time, we asked to deal with Jim again, even though a different rep met us outside. Our request was immediately granted, no questions asked, even though he was already deep in a busy day.Once again, Jim proved to be an excellent salesman. Although we made up our mind following the test drive, Jim followed up and got us answers to all outstanding questions, rather than make something up on the spot (fresh 2015 model, so it is normal that not all random questions about alternate parts have a ready answer.) Jim took care of everything relating to financing, trade, transfer and custom prep and we had our new ride ready to go next day.

While test driving my Forester, we talked about a former TC Subura salesman and about the sales experience I had at a Buick dealership and I was right up front with him when I said I do not want to be pressured. Mike said he'd ended up in a vehicle that wasn't a good fit for his family and knew how I felt. There was no pressure, he asked if we'd like to close on the deal that day and my husband said if its good today will it be on Monday and they did. We did an enormous amount of research before deciding that the Subaru Outback was on our short list. We checked out a RAV 4, a CRV and a Subaru Outback from a different dealership in Vermont. I got a used Subaru 4 years ago and just LOVED it. But like all good things that Subaru engine gave way :(. So I needed a new car and knew I wanted a Subaru. I was looking for used thinking I could not afford new. We went to Twin City and were greeted by Andre's warm smile and relaxed nature. He showed me a Legacy that I liked and was in reason as I wanted a wagon. Took it for a test drive and told him I needed to think it over. I returned a few days later and looked around some more and found a nice new Impreza that I fell in love with!!! Andre went and got the keys and we took it for a spin and started the paperwork. When I asked him why he did not point it out before he just simply said that I was looking for used and he was not going to pressure me into something I did not want. I liked the no pressure way Andre dealt with me. It was a great day and I would buy another car from him in a heartbeat! He allowed us to browse and did not hover over us. Buying a car can be a very anxious event, especially when the customer senses the sales person is trying too hard to sell a vehicle. When my wife and I walked into Twin City Subaru we were greeted by Tony Fletcher and asked to have a seat. Tony then asked what we were looking for and what price range we were considering. He listened, really listened, to us describe what we had in mind for a car that would meet our needs and financial expectations. His manner of presentation was non threatening and low pressure. I believe his friendliness was genuine and sincere. After the initial 2 to 3 minutes I felt at ease with our conversation and didn't sense any undue pressure form Tony. Tony then showed us the car he thought would match our expectation. We test drove the car and he answered our questions to the best of his ability and if he didn't have an answer he asked other knowledgable staff at Twin City Subaru who could answer my questions. Tony hit the nail on the head when he showed us the car he thought would meet our needs. We bought the car and will be doing business with Twin City Subaru in the future. Over all, our buying experience at Twin City Subaru has left me with a high regard for Tony and the management atTwin City Subaru. I will be telling my friends about my experience and the friendly and professional service my wife and I received. I must also say that Chris Davis presented us with warranty options in an easy to understand manner which led us to select the options we felt met our needs. Every one was very friendly. I went in looking to upgrade from a finicky Mazda protege, and left happy with a certified pre-owned Subaru Impreza. They took my Mazda at a fair price and so far I'm very happy with the Impreza. Overall my experience at the dealership with Mike, Chris and Stacey was positive and now I actually enjoy driving in the snow.Not sure about the new car experience but if you're looking to go the pre owned route I would definitely recommend checking this place out.Also they're dog friendly.

Tony Fletcher did a great job selling me a new car because he really listened to me. Every question I had was answered with sincerity and "top" knowledge. He even told me why the Crosstrek Xv had that unusual name. As uncomfortable as buying a car can be, Tony made me feel comfortable with my decision. He repeated that my monthly payments would be close to $200/month, and it ended up at $209/month due to my decision to include the ProtectAll service. The only negative comment is that I had an accident, yesterday, during the snow storm! I was on a back road and due to a temporary whiteout I drove into a pretty deep ditch. I know I will need a front left bumper. Luckily, I'm ok and was rescued by an understanding guy who assessed the situation quickly and then pulled me out (with the rear towing tool that you people showed me at the dealership). I would purchase again, possibly in six years...if I get a good trade-in value.

My last car was purchased in 2003 and my husband purchased his car in 2004. Both cars were purchased at Twin City Subaru. Although the drive to Berlin is approximately a 90 minute drive I decided to call Jim (if he was still there) and see what he had to offer for my new car. We spoke Friday morning and I drove home Friday night in my new car. Jim is a very personable man and was very honest with his answers to my, and my husbands questions. Although he was very busy with other customers he was able to take time to meet with us. I would recommend Jim Glassford and Twin City Subaru. I just hope he will be there in 3 years when we return our lease car and purchase or lease our next car. Stacey Kemp was very patient with us and our questions. She had to repeat herself a few times, as we kept thinking of things we might want or not want and we would confuse ourselves. These folks are awesome!I bought my prior Subaru at another dealership in Vermont several years ago but I always had it serviced at Twin City Subaru. I've been very pleased with the service department over the years, so I went to Twin City first when it was time to look for a new car. I was not excited to buy a new car-- I do not like car shopping generally, as I have always felt pressured by the sales staff. At Twin City, I met Dan Barone and he changed my mind about car sales people! Dan was a pleasure to work with-- very knowledgeable, attentive without being overbearing, professional, and just an all around great guy. My husband and I were also impressed with the rest of the team: Stacey Kemp did an outstanding job outlining all of the financing and other options, Dan's manager Chris was also helpful, and special kudos to Brandon from the shop, who went the extra mile to make sure our car was in absolutely perfect (spotless) condition despite the weather conditions. We first chose Twin City to visit in person because of the personalized video of the vehicle that Tony made (outside) on one of the coldest days of the year. Within an hour of expressing our interest, the video showed up in my inbox. It was just a simple walk around and a quick description of the car, but the fact that Tony made that extra effort really impressed me. We actually had no intention of buying a vehicle that particular day, but the deal Tony gave us on our trade-in and his no pressure manner put us right at ease and the made the buying experience extremely enjoyable. I was looking for a new car and was in conversation with another dealership when I looked at Twin City Subaru online. I was contacted via email very quickly by the sales person, Jim Glassford. Right off the bat Jim was great to deal with. I told him I had been looking at my local dealership but the car I wanted was not in stock there. I had looked at their inventory online and Twin City did have the model I was looking for. I really didn't want to start the dealing process all over again, the usual back and forth offers and to my delight I didn't have to. Jim honestly wanted my business and came back with a very fair offer, first shot. No need to banter, Jim did all the work for me. Twin City has a very quick and easy online application process, that went extremely smooth and by that afternoon I was in my new car. Jim and the staff at Twin City had everything ready when we arrived. It was more like meeting a new friend than a business deal. Even thought Twin City was a further drive than my local dealership, it was well worth it. Overall a very enjoyable experience, both with Jim and Twin City. Everything about my car buying experience here was positive. Tony heard me from the beginning and the process was effortless. I knew what I wanted and there was no trying me to get me to buy something I didn't want, like an upgrade.... This also included the woman who showed me different warrenty options. She presented but didn't press. I know I got a good price, but like all consumers, I just couldn't save 5 because of that elusive human instinct..(on Price) it is not a reflection on the individual at all. .so I would recommend this dealer and sales person. I recently financed a used Subaru at Twin City Subaru with the help of Doug Smith and Chris Davis.My boyfriend had found a great used Subaru whose Carfax showed it to be in good condition at Twin City Subaru in Vermont. It fit all the parameters and we went on a 45 minute long trip to see the car. The trip became much longer as my car began to overheat repeatedly. In the end, a 45 minute trip became over 2 hours long. My boyfriend called Doug at Twin City Subaru and explained the problem: it was nearing their closing time on a Saturday evening and we had no way to get back on my entirely-broken car. It was time to buy a new car, now! Doug told us not to worry and to get there when we got there. When we finally made it, it was very nearly closing time. Both Doug Smith and Chris Davis had stayed to make sure we could make a purchase that night, if we wanted to. In just about two hours, they managed to take me through the entire process of test driving and financing a used car, trading in my used car, and setting me up with all the correct documents and temporary plates. They did all this in a friendly and professional manner, and took the time to answer all my questions.Thanks to the Doug Smith and Chris Davis, I was able to drive out of the dealership in record time on a Saturday evening in a used car I wanted.

They were very friendly and mostly worked to give us what we wanted, except that we were told the interior color we wanted was unavailable (it wasn't) and then that it would be more costly, so we went with a color we weren't thrilled with, and I do wish we had been encouraged to go with what would work best for us. Also, we would have been very interested in purchasing after-market accessories, like a hitch, and including this in our financing package, but these were not offered and we didn't think to ask at the time, so be sure to ask for what you want and insist if you need to. Otherwise, very friendly, easy to work with, and overall very fair with out trade in. Joe and Chris in particular were excellent to work with! They gave us a great deal and excellent sales service.

I have worked with Twin City Subaru since 2007 when I started bringing my Impreza to the service department. I continue to be pleased with their service, knowledge and friendliness. When it was time to lease a new vehicle I sat down with Jim Glassford. He is professional, knowledgeable and exceptionally friendly and helpful and always available to answer any questions or concerns. I had inquired at two other dealerships but Jim came up with the best price, the best deal possible to trade my Impreza for a 2010 Forester. I was very happy with my new vehicle, the lease experience and I continued to bring it to Twin City Subaru for service even though I moved out of the area. In October 2012 I was ready to trade again. Just before this, my Forester had gone over the 36,000 mile warranty and had a $500.00 service bill but Jim and the service department worked to get it covered under the warranty and I didn't pay a dime. I was thrilled. I was ready to downsize and try the newly remodeled 2013 Impreza. Once again I inquired at two other dealerships but Jim at Twin City Subaru came in with the best deal possible. I was happy with the deal but not so happy with the Impreza. So, only eight (8) months into my 36 month lease, in July 2013, I contacted Jim and told him of my unhappiness with the Impreza. Jim and the entire dealership worked very hard to get me out of my lease and into a brand new 2014 Forester. I didn't think they could do it without it costing me a lot but they did and I am forever grateful. There are not adequate words to state my appreciation and satisfaction with Jim Glassford, Twin City Subaru and their service department. They always go above and way beyond with their customer service. Here's another example: by the end of next month, October 2013, I'll be ready to bring my Forester in for it's 1st 3000 mile maintenance service. I called to inquire what a set of snow tires cost. I had seen a 10% off snow tire coupon on the Twin City website but it expired 10.01.13. When I called, I was told they would honor the coupon even if I came in after the expiration. Need I say more? I made an appointment for a test drive and Jim followed up before I arrived to make sure he knew exactly what I was looking to test. When I arrived, Jim and the car were ready to go. After a smooth test drive of the requested Impreza, Jim suggested that I consider the Sport model. That is the car I was able to drive off the lot that afternoon. I found Dan Barone to be very knowledgeable about the vehicles. There was not a question he did not know the answer to. ( If there was was, he surely would have gotten it for us). He was not at all pushy, but informative and described all aspects of the cars we were looking at. Dan is personable, friendly, and well spoken. This is the best car purchase I have had. I had a Subaru years ago and never thought I would go back, however after a referral to Dan from one of my closes friends and then talking with him I was sold. I knew I wanted a Subaru but I wasn't sure what kind. I went to the lot, Jim found me while I was overwhelmed by the many choices. He asked a few simple questions, what did I like about my current car, what was I looking for in a new car, what prompted me to come to the dealer. WHAM, just like that I was on track to finding the right car for me. He was incredibly patient while I roamed from model to model asking questions, sitting in them and when I finally decided on which one I wanted to take for a test drive he was ready. He showed me the different features on my new car, made sure that I was comfortable in the car and made sure I knew all my alternatives. He was very patient with me - even when I was waffling between grey and red. Once I had decided on the Impreza he made the purchasing portion of the day incredibly easy. He stayed after closing to make sure that I was able to take my new car home. Chris made sure that I was aware of all the possible differences in my extended service plans and made sure that I got the one that worked best for me. At no point during the process did I feel pressured or rushed. They were both great and I highly recommend working with both of them if you are looking for a new Subaru!!!

Joe made the buying process about as smooth as could be expected. I looked at their stock on-line and chose a car I was interested in for a test drive. My wife and I went in the following day, and drove the car, closed the deal, financed and drove home our new Impreza in less than three hours. Joe was professional, polite, and knowledgeable. Six or seven years ago we bought a new Subaru Forester from Burlington Subaru (Vermont), and were very unhappy with the attitude of the people who headed up the service dept., as well as the salesman we talked to when we decided to buy a new Subaru in 2010. That is when we decided to try Twin City. Our daughter had bought a Subaru Forester from them the previous year, and raved about the great sales people and service people there, so we decided to give it a try. I called to set up an appt. and talked to Jim Glassford, over the phone. Jim made himself available to accommodate our busy schedule. When my husband and I met Jim a few days later we were impressed by the amount of knowledge Jim had, regarding the Subaru Forester, which is the specific car we wanted to purchase. Jim was straightforward, and articulate, and willing and able to meet our needs for financing. After meeting and dealing with Jim, we knew we would go back to him and Twin City for our next Forester. We recently decided it was time to trade our 2010 Forester in for the 2014 (due to the high number of miles we put on our cars each year). Great decision on our part! I'm so glad that Jim Glassford 'just happened' to be the salesman we spoke with on the phone - we got lucky. He was down to earth, friendly, real and incredibly easy to talk with and deal with. He stayed late to show us that 'one more' vehicle - which was the one we ended up purchasing. The price for the vehicle was very competitive, the knowledge of our salesman was outstanding and the other staff talked to us like we'd been shopping their for years. The parts department worked with us effectively and efficiently also, on accessories we wanted.Would we use Twin City again and recommend them to others? Absolutely. Would we use Jim Glassford again? Mr Sweeney and Ms Kemp gave exemplary service! Joe had been in touch with us over the phone arranging his schedule to meet ours and meet with us. Never pushy, he went over the car both in the lot and on the test drive. I already knew I wanted the Forester, but I didn't know about most of the new changes made and how much better they made the car for 2014. Joe brought everything to light. After spending several hours with us, he would politely excuse himself to go get each thing started ie: the service area to look at my trade-in, and the woman (Stacy) who would be handling the financial aspects. This made everything go smoothly, timely, and fall right into place. Very pleasant, interesting, and personable, I am glad I will be dealing with Mr. Sweeney as the years go by in my Subaru.Ms Kemp was also a pleasure to deal with. Funny, smart, and very thorough, she had all her information ready for us in great little charts that made what could have been a maze...very clear. She was bright and cheery...made all that money going away seem painless! :-)All in all, I think Twin City is a great dealership. It has been a long time since I was in a dealer's showroom and I expected "hounds" to be at work. I didn't find or feel that at all here. I bought the Subaru Impreza and am loving it. Tony was great to work with on the deal. I found him to be a professional, down to earth, no nonsense type of guy. He never did the whole high pressure sales pitch. (I would have run the other way, if he did). Tony was knowledgeable about all aspects of the car and was very thorough about explaining the equipment and accessories before and after the test drive. After I bought the car, he took the time to help me get my phone set up to work with bluetooth. A couple days later he called to make sure everything was working well and to answer any questions I had. I did my research before buying the car, so I know I got a great deal on it. Whenever possible, I like to buy local, if the local company is willing to work to earn my business. Tony and Twin City Subaru do that.

John Henning and Jim went the extra mile to locate the exact car I wanted at a dealership 2 hours away, and they got it there by the time of my appointment to finish the paperwork. That is just the apex of customer service, and it made me feel very special. Thanks!(The ONLY negative issue I had was the dealership's fault, not Joe's - I was bummed that they wouldn't take off the old hitch I had had recently installed from my trade-in without billing me. It would have been a nice gesture to either roll into the cost of the car, or not bill me for at all. It would have been less than a half hour for labor, ($40 they were going to bill me) which is nothing to them but not much less than what I was probably going to be able to sell it for, so it would have been a wash out for me). But, given the awesome price of the car, all in all, I am super happy with my new-to-me Subaru which I bought for below the KBB value. My financing took a day to go through, and Joe was super helpful and patient. Thanks!

I first visited Twin City Subaru 3 years ago looking for a new Subaru Forrester. As I did not like the size of the new Forrester or the new options it had, I decided to stick with my old Subaru at the time until I found something that better suited my needs. I bought a 2010 Forester through him in the summer of 2009; went through a negotiation for a 2013 Forester in the fall of 2012, but wound up not purchasing it; and then just recently bought a 2013 Forester. Jim is professional and treats his customers fairly; that was the case even after the deal which didn't come to fruition. I think he was a bit surprised to see me come back just 5 months later, but this time we were able to put something together - and I'm very happy with the car. On a related note, I've always had ALL my servicing done at the dealership - and they are very good, reasonably priced, and stand behind their work.

The Crosstrek I just bought from Twin City Subaru is the third new car I've purchased in my life, but this was the first experience of buying a car that I actually enjoyed! Jim Glassford was awesome to work with. He was laid back, patient, informative and had a great sense of humor. I never felt pressured. I particularly appreciated that he didn't dismiss me because I am a woman, or speak only to my husband--those types of behavior have been the norm in previous experiences, but Jim seemed to know from the first moment that I was the one shopping and he treated me with total respect. My daughter and I came in to replace our 2004 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport, which had been hit and totaled the week it was due for its 95,000 mile checkup. Bought it from Twin Cities in 2006 in immaculate condition and was still going strong. Doug Smith was great: he listened to my likes and dislikes about color, etc., let my daughter test drive a couple of used cars, and I liked the second car, a 2008 Legacy Outback that fit our budget. Seriously, both my Subarus, although used, were totally clean and had been beautifully kept and cared for by their prior owners. They both looked like new cars.

Very pushy to get me to buy a used car that they used themselves as a personal vehicle. All the used cars on the lot they take home an drive them. I noticed one impreza had the back window down an there was snow on the back seat, an Doug seemed to careless, not to mention the whole time he called me by another guys name.The car I test drove had a pile of loose change in the door handle, clearly someone there had been driving it around a lot. They had a brand new 2012 impreza in the show room with the back hatch up an a spilt Starbucks coffee all over in the back all out in the open. Then they offered me 2000 less than other dealers for my car an tried making me pay them more for my car. 200 miles later an a wasted day off a lesson was learnt. Never again...

Was a good experience purchasing a new Subaru from Joe and Twin City. Joe seemed very honesty and we had some laughs in the process. Over all it was the best experience I've had buying a car and I'm 61 so I've purchased a few. This is my first Subaru and actually the first time I've ever driven one and I'm very impressed. Chandler worked very hard for us to purchase this new car as the one I was trading was only a couple of years old-we appreciate his love for the Boston Red Sox, his humor and dedication to our sale.

My wife and I were looking for a new Forester. We knew what we wanted and knew what we could pay. When we arrived at Twin City Subaru (one of many possible dealers in the area) we were met by Joe Sweeney. Right from the start he was friendly, low pressure and knowledgeable. He walked us through the car and we took it for a test drive. We told him we would be back later in the summer, once our finances were in order. He was patient and gave us a call a month later (as we requested). When it came time to "bargain" we didn't even need to, as the price was more than fair. Needless to say we will be back for our next car. If you are looking for a professional, low pressure salesman to buy your next car from, Joe Sweeney is a great choice.Furthermore, the other employees that we encountered have also been friendly and helpful. After narrowing down our search for a new vehicle to a Subaru from Honda, Toyota, Nissan, Ford, we started our search for a Subaru dealer. We compared prices, service, and salesmanship between three Subaru dealers in Northern Vermont. Twin City Subaru was hands down the winner with Doug Smith's excellent salesmanship. Twin Cities treated me with respect, and seemed to be actually interested in what would make me happy. After driving some vehicles and speaking with Terry, the sales representative, I was provided with some suggestions. Tey open about their costs. While they tried to make the sale, I was in no way pressured to do so. Even after the sale was made, Twin Cities went out of their way to help improve my experience.I highly recommend working with Twin Cities Subaru.

Compared to other car buying experiences in the past, this entire transaction was more like meeting friends for coffee. It was just that easy and relaxed. Everyone we dealt with listened to what we wanted and then bent over backwards to give it to us. Joe Sweeney was great to work with. He was attentive, but never pushy. It was well worth the drive to Berlin from Burlington to receive customer service at this level. I went to Twin City as the first stop in my search for a used car. I had the luck to work with Joe Sweeney who was incredibly helpful and very low pressure. We looked at a number of used outbacks and ended up test driving a 2008 with LOW mileage. It was perfect, I didn't even look at any other cars. It took a few days to negotiate workable financing; even this process was easier than I've ever experienced. Thanks guys for a great car and I'll be back in a few years when I'm in the market again!

I highly recommend Twin City to anyone looking for a car. The staff was great and very helpful. After dealing with a horrible dealership in NH, we drove back to Vermont and worked with Joe Sweeney and Chandler at Twin City to help us buy a Jeep that we wanted. They were really great--very friendly and not pushy at all. Next time, we will definitely stay in Vermont to buy a car and will work with Twin City again!?

Terry was knowledgeable, helpful, used factual rather than high pressure sales techniques. He responded promptly to my initial internet query, followed up appropriately without being pushy, provided helpful information via email, and when we went in to look at vehicles was very helpful and attentive again without being pushy. We received honest/fair pricing. The managers were also very pleasant and helpful. We received fine service; everyone there made the transaction easy and convenient.

I was referred to Twin City and salesman, Jim Glassford by someone I work with. I had a choice of dealers, one closer to where I live, but based on some reviews by other Subaru owners who had purchased cars from both dealers, I went to Twin City and met with Jim. He was very helpful and informative when I took delivery.

I went in on Thursday, June 24, just to inquire about the availability of 2011 Outbacks. Jim Glassford greeted me as I walked in, and he answered all my questions. By the time I left(2 hours later), I had put a deposit on a car which was not even at the dealership yet. Today, Tuesday June 29, thanks to Jim and the Twin City crew, I drove off in my dream car.

Ms. Brown is extremely warm, friendly, knowledgeable and considerate. She had an excellent grasp of the unique and superior qualities of her Subaru vehicles, and thoroughly explained the advantages of the Boxer engine and all wheel drive mechanism. Since I am new to Subaru as well as Vermont, she was very generous in offering to assist me in learning about the state, even offering to show me around. She and her team, including business manager Christopher Davis, were very fair in dealing with me to locate the vehicle I desired and worked with me to come to terms at a fair price.
