Tynan's took every opportunity to cheat us from the day we signed our lease. I have never done business with anyone so willing to destroy a customer relationship to make a quick buck. Everyone I interacted with was either had no idea how to do their job or was actively trying to trick me into paying for things. Overall, I would rate Tynan's as the worst business I have ever worked with. Starting with signing the lease, we were told the advertised deal wasn't available on the specific car they had on the lot. Typical shady car salesman stuff, but I still got a decent deal so I took it. I specifically negotiated all the ludicrous fees (like the disposition fee) out of the contract. My next interaction with them was because I had gotten a flat from hitting the sidewall while parallel parking. What kind of cheap tires can't handle grazing a curb at low speed? The Leaf doesn't have a spare tire so I had to hobble over to the dealership on a low pressure tire. On arrival, I was told they don't stock replacement tires and I would have to wait 3 days. They refused to offer a loaner but did offer me a ride home. The employee who drove me spent the entire ride telling me about his medical problems. And these were the type of disgusting things I wouldn't tell my own mother the details of, much less a random stranger. On picking the car back up a few days later, the guy settling my bill goes out of his way to tell me that the good news is that now all four tires are under warranty again so if I have a problem again, they'll fix it for free.Well, a few months later, another one of the cheap tires goes flat the same way. I ask about the warranty and the new service guy tells me thats absurd and they would never offer that. I end up paying twice market rate for a new tire because its a lease.(In a happy intermission, it was a Leaf, so no standard maintenance over the life of the lease. That was cool! I was really happy with Nissan and the Leaf, this review is all just about the dealer.)Time comes to turn the car in at the end of the lease. After 10 calls and 10 emails, I set up an appointment to get the inspection done at the dealership on a Saturday morning with one of the lease managers. I show up, the woman I set up the appointment with and the lease manager are both not there. The sales guy on the lot tells me they would never do an inspection like that, "the internet department people have no idea what they're doing", and that I should just come back when its time to turn the car in. I tell him, based on what I've read, this is wrong and I should get an inspection first, but he insists.So I show up to turn the car in. The guy helping me gets to the second page of the return agreement before he asks me to come around to his side of the desk so I can help him navigate his web form. Who asks a customer to do their job for them? He spends 20 minutes randomly clicking any buttons he can find until his manager finally comes in and does it for him.A month later, I get a bill for $700. Turns out, they had snuck the $400 disposition fee back into the contract without me noticing. Technically, I admit I should have caught it while signing and, frankly, walked away from the whole deal right there. But this was ultimate sign for me that they were more interested in cheating me out of a few hundred bucks than trying to get me to repeat business. Additionally, when they finally did the inspection they "found a scratch" that was supposedly going to take $250 to fix. It wasn't there when I turned it in. The effort they made to keep me from getting an inspection done before I turn it in makes it pretty clear that they prefer setting up the inspections so they can add a few hundred bucks to them.So I call them up to try to get the facts straight about the $700 bill. I talk to a lease manager (everyone there is a "manager"), who tells me I "sound like an honest guy" who really did try everything in my power to get an inspection done correctly, and he will get the $250 repair fee removed as soon as his boss can sign off on it. I check in with him once a day for the next three days and he tells me each time that the boss hasn't had time to check it out yet. I finally leave a message for him telling him I'll be trying tracking down his manager directly. Five minutes later, call from another manager. He tells me, sounds fair, he can split the repair bill with me 50/50 and get it signed off by the end of the day. I call him twice more over the course of the week and he never returns my calls. I left messages for both the managers I had contacts for, and no one from Tynan's returns my calls anymore. Just to be very clear, I left exclusively polite messages asking this to get resolved, and never threated, yelled, or swore at anyone.All in all, the people at Tynan's are exclusively out to make a buck today at the expense of having customers tomorrow.

On September 10th 2016 I went to tynan's to talk to them about purchasing a vehicle after my bankruptcy discharge. After spending over six hours (!!!) on a Saturday at the dealership waiting for who-knows-what we finally got approved and was able to leave with the car and left our trade in. It is now October 18th 2016 and on October 9th 2016 we went to use the sunroof for the first time on this car and it hung up within its frame and broke part of the slide panel inside the car which fell in our laps and would not close after that. I placed a call to the dealership and I was told that I would have to wait until Monday to deal with the dealership in this situation. The call I placed was on a Sunday and initially I was impressed and highly appreciative that the salesman returned my call and arranged to touch base with me on Monday the 10th to determine what they would do to resolve the issue. **Note** we have had the car for 1 month and my first payment isn't even due until October 25th. The salesman, Bill, and I touched base on Monday October 10th and I was told that they would take care of it and fix it free of charge and that they were working on getting me a loaner car or a rental car for me to use while they had the car in their possession. This was finally arranged by late afternoon and I made the almost 45 minute drive to them and left the car and picked up the loaner car. Today is October 18th and I received a call this afternoon from Bill stating that my car was ready and could be picked up anytime today, and so I drove out there intending to swap vehicles and be satisfied with the repair and carry on. Upon my arrival, the first thing I notice is that the car is filthy and after I park and walk over to it I also notice that they never bothered to remove the tape or the tape residue around the sunroof and that there were oil stains like a track from a garage door dripping oil on top of the car. Needless to say I was a little put off and that became worse when I looked inside the car and saw that they didn't replace the plastic piece that had fallen off in my lap so I went inside to speak with Bill the salesman to ask him why the repair was not complete to xxxx the car was taking off the lot and why the car was so dirty and tape residue left on. I'm a professional truck driver and take a lot of pride in the care of my equipment and this includes personal vehicles as well. Anybody who knows me or works with me at all can attest to witnessing me taking upmost care of anything I drive including this particular vehicle. I never dropped it off dirty and the same can be said for their loaner vehicle I have a receipt from the car wash that I took their loaner vehicle through so as to keep it clean while in my possession so that when I return it it would be in the condition I received it in. Tomorrow morning I will be taking pictures of the outside of the car the oil stains on the car and the tape residue and the inside repair as well as the stains they left on the headliner when they made their repairs. I am willing to share that with anyone who would like to see. But wait, it doesn't stop there because after Bill took the car to go have it washed per my request I decided to go speak to the sales manager and ask him directly why bill came to me and told me that he would only authorize what was done. The sales manager I spoke to by the name of Sam was extremely rude right from the start I asked him if he had a moment and he said yes so I headed outside so that him and I could have a conversation revolving around this incident with the car and the repairs and it's cleanliness when returned to me. When he stepped outside I informed him that I am paying almost $22,000 for this car and before I could even finish what I was going to get to he went into Attack Mode and started that the he's not the bank and told me that I was unappreciative and ungrateful for what he was trying to do for me and that he had lost $1,800 and selling this car to me and spent another $400 in the repair of the sunroof and that I should just be thankful and grateful because they gave me a chance that nobody else would give me and that if I had better credit I wouldn't be in the situation I was in and then turned around and told me to have a nice xx day to which I replied that I would b****. He then came at me as I was walking back into the building and told me to leave the building that I wasn't welcome there and was extremely physically hostile towards me as well as verbally. From the minute we stepped out the door to have a discussion he interrupted me every single time I went to say anything to him was extremely rude and confrontational he was physically threatening and extremely unprofessional in all levels of business. I have been in business management my entire working career as well as customer service I have owned and managed businesses and have never spoken to a customer like that and never will. Let me point out first off that if what he says is true and he lost $1,800 plus an additional $400 for an accumulated total of $2,200 on the transaction of this car.... How would they still be in business? Was this a $2,200 personal favor from a total stranger who doesn't know me from Adam to assist me in buying a $22,000 vehicle just because he liked me? Now keep in mind we've never seen each other before in my life. He assumed and stated to me that my money management skills are what put me into bankruptcy and into the loan situation I was in with their dealership. I replied that he thinks he knows something about me but in reality he doesn't know my story any more than you do. I won't bother to explain my story because that's irrelevant but I will defend myself and stating that my bankruptcy was not from mismanagement of money and shopping skills. In my opinion this man is not fit to be in the position he's in at this dealership and if this dealership defense that type of character in the treatment of their customers then my opinion of the dealership is that they should just close their doors and let the real professionals take over business. I will be sharing this story across the internet and then more than willing to share the pictures the car wash receipt my loan contract and the additional service contract that I paid for through my loan that the dealership initially wanted to use to initiate this repair to which I objected and stated that I didn't buy that insurance to use it in the first 3 weeks of ownership and especially considering that it's just like an insurance policy where I have to pay a deductible for that repair. No let me know one other thing while it's on my mind and that is this guy Sam the sales manager tells me that he spent $400 on that car today fixing the sunroof however Bill tinkle the salesman stated to me over the telephone and in-person that as they did was put the sunroof back in track because when it got hung up on the interior panel it took it out of track. So I'm going to call Sam out right now and ask him to provide me proof of his $1,800 loss and his $400 expense on that car today. And if that $400 is to pay his mechanic well the real professional business men that are out there typically called that the cost of doing business for customer satisfaction. So you can make your own assumptions of my story or you can contact me and I'll gladly share pictures receipts contract anything else. I have nothing to hide does Sam? Thank you for your time and understanding my apologies for this being a long review but I believe in being that is complete and honest as I possibly can and I'm hoping that I can save somebody else and even worse headache or nightmare in what we all know is a long long history of dealership horror stories. Read the reviews read their ratings and make a solid decision before walking through their door that you're willing to deal with them because that's the one thing I didn't do and should have. Best of luck to you all. All that said I would also like to know that I intend to carry on and carry through with the purchase of this vehicle. I do have the service contract to which they are obligated to and I signed paperwork to which I am obligated to so as an adult and someone trying to do the right thing from my end I will honor my end of the bargain. However sharing my story I felt it was important for somebody else who might find themselves in the same position. My car is not disabled it is drivable and I still love it so there's that but I highly discourage you from darkening the doorways of a tynan's dealership. I do also realize that I not this car "as is" but does that take responsibility entirely out of their hands?Well, I'll say this..........the VERY friendly service ended the minute we drove off the lot. Is that am experience you'd like?

I have owned two Nissans over the last 3 years.Tynans Nissan has done amazing job for my vehicles. I dont have to have a lot done on them because they are great cars, Rich in the service department gets me in and out in a flash. My car is ways returned to me clean, even though I bring it dirty most the time.If I need a ride they give me one.

I was very disappointed today because I tried to schedule an appointment for an oil change by phone and they told me that I didn't need an appointment if I arrived before 6:00 PM. I arrived at 5:25 PM and the service team told me that I was too late and should come back tomorrow. They didn't care that it took me 40 minutes to drive to the shop in traffic and they could not explain to me why they declined a 15-minute service when I was there 35 minutes before closing. The team was rude, did not apologize, and instead made me out as a liar, saying that I must have called another dealership. After this, I drove to Grease Monkey and I arrived two minutes before closing. The guys there were very happy to help me. I was very disappointed in Tynan's services because I was planning to purchase my second car from this specific dealership. This attitude has lost me as a potential buyer and I will never come back to Tynan's for any service.

Went to this dealer because they were the only dealer that had the used vehicle that I was looking for. This was your typical terrible experience when it comes to purchasing a vehicle. Low balled me on my trade in and knew less than I did about the vehicle. From start to finish I was on the lot for 5 hours on a Friday afternoon. After agreeing to terms with the dealer I had to wait a hour to meet with the finance department. During that time not a single employee spoke to me about why there was a wait or gave me a expected wait time. Basically as soon as I said yes to the purchase they disappeared to work on other clients. If you are looking for your typical dreaded experience of buying a vehicle than look no further.

I had my brakes pad done but about two weeks later they kept squeaky so I took it back. I explain the problem and so they took it for a test drive. They told me that they didn't hear anything and it would be pointless to take into the shop that it would be a waste of their time. Wow! Unacceptable and I'm the customer. I told a friend about how I was treated and they told me to go to this Nissan Dealership that they treat thier customers good. So to find out their was a problem the caliper bracket shims dirty and had no lubricant applied and none to sliding pins either. Tynan's is the worst place I've ever been.

They claim oil change and other services are Express. I'm not sure what express mean to them when I had to wait over an hour for an oil change. Granted they topped off washer fluid and did an "inspection",but still an hour for an oil change!!!!!! If I had the warmth of an inside garage I think I could have changed my own oil in less time.Again if you advertise express service then do it in an EXPRESS way. The oil change 3 pack is what enticed me but the wasted 3 plus hours of my precious time for the 3 oil changes isn't worth it.I 'd rather make an appointment and know I had to commit to time lost for what ever reason takes Dealerships so long to complete work. I could at least arrange a ride and schedule my valuable time better.

The air bag light started blinking. I took my 2005 frontier to Tynan Nissan in Aurora The service adviser told me they charge $140 dollars to code read the problem. Any auto parts store does it for free. The service adviser told me they had to replace the passenger side airbag module. I had to pay upfront for the part. They charged me $699 plus tax for the part. I checked the internet. The part was selling for $418.00 OEM. I also paid 480.00 for labor up front. I was advised that the problem was not the module since the airbag light was still blinking. The service manager said he would fix the problem at no cost to me. No cost? I laid out $1230 including tax for a part and labor I didnt need. I told him what I paid so far. His reply was that if I forgot about moneys owed to me, they would fix my truck for free. DUH I asked for the old part. Rebekah told me the mechanic discarded it.Did they put the old part back? After getting my truck back the next day my daughter usually sits in the passenger side complained that her seat belt locks up and wont release. I can't wait for them to look at the problem. I purchased two vehicles in the past from them Why do I keep going back? There are other stories I can relate about Tynan. Some other time.

removed and replaced passenger side air bag as per factory recall. ----this guys messed up with drivers side too let dashboard loose upper bezel in wrong position .....complimentary multi-point inspection wrong........ my suggestion take your time to fixing the air bag and do it right and forget it the multi-point inspection

I visited Tynan's website and saw a car I liked. I made an appointment to see the car the next day and drove out from Denver to Aurora only to find out the car had been sold. No one contacted me to tell me this. I was then given a salesperson that did not know the inventory very well. He led me around the lot for about a half hour. He then had to leave and passed me off to another salesperson. This person was not really sure what price range I was looking for and showed me a vehicle that I could not really afford. It was a nice car and I test drove it. I then let the finance department run the numbers to see what my payments would be, etc. By this time I needed to leave and tried to hurry things up. The finance manager made a rude remark to me saying that "You can't buy a car in 15 minutes." This was after I had been there an hour and a half. Then I couldn't find my own car in the lot. They moved it when they checked it for trade in value and didn't tell anyone where they moved it too. So I had to hunt down my own car in their lot. Overall, generally not a good car buying experience. I felt like I was passed around from person to person and not dealing with just one salesperson. I would not recommend this car dealership to anyone.

Called dealership for price of fixing outside drivers door handle. $180 was the quote for labor only. I was charged over$500. With labor at $276. They said they had to replace the whole wiring system. The inside doorhandle worked. They tried to justify their over pricing by telling me they did recall work on my car. Called another dealership they start pricing at $145. I feel riped off,mad. They didn't care!

The guys at Tynan's Finance are amazing!! I had a horrible experience at another VW dealer in the area. I needed a car as soon as possible and Rolando and DJ jumped to the challenge and got it done! I was shown several cars and drove them. My first love is the Beetle and I ended up driving home an awesome BeetleTurbo. It's the best pre-owned car I've ever owned! Hats off to Jim Tynan too. He made sure I understood everything I needed to know about the vehicle. The next time I need to buy a car, I'm off to Tynan's!!

I recently tried to trade in my Nissan Murano for a Altima. I was called in on by someone I knew for the process and I thought the deal was going to be a great experience since I knew the sales staff, but it was a nightmare, I was not treated like a real customer, and I was there for hours. I gave them that whole next Monday and Tuesday to call me back and they never even attempted to help me. I ended up buying a Hyundai Sonata next door that Tuesday night at Shortline Automotive. Shortline got me in and out in a couple of hours on a awesome 2015 Sonata and treated me like family and like I was a real customer. Over all I would not recommend buying a new car from Tynans Nissan.

I had a car that kept dying upon take off and wouldn't automatically shift into a higher gear. Provided it only happened when it was hot out, my car sat at the dealership for almost two months. They lost the paperwork for my car, couldn't give me updates and when I showed up they had no idea where my car was. I was told "it's somewhere out there" and the employee handed me my keys so I could get stuff out of my car. I was on my own to navigate the back 40. They did loan me a car to use, but the service manager called out of the blue one day saying he would report the car stollen if I didn't bring it back. Asked if my car was done yet and he told me no. What a way to take care of a customer. In the end I was told that Nissan had a new way of fixing the problem my car had a "new process". But couldn't tell me when I would get my car back.

I have been coming to this dealer for about 11 years. the first time I was here I was with a friend helping her to purchase a new car. She ended up with an Xterra and we were both really happy with the service and deal. A year later I went in to by myself an Xterra which I did. Again highly satisfied. I started dealing with the service dept, they were helpful, friendly, and professional. I have been going there now for 10 years. Josh (salesman) was a "newby" but did very well. Jordan "Wizard" (the man behind the curtain) was great. He helped Josh with all our questions. Very low mileage for a used vehicle. I love our Rogue, BUT when we got it home we noticed a dent in the left front fender that was not disclosed during the negotiations. I came from close to 400 miles away and basically had the deal made over the phone. I was a little skeptical about what may happen once I got there, but was pleasantly surprised! Not only did they have everything in order and ready to go, but I had a great opportunity to look at some other vehicles in the same make. Alex was a pleasure to work with, he really wanted to work with us and honor our request's he was a good listener. Made us feel comfortable. Marcus was also a pleasure to work with and worked with us to stay within our budget. He was also nice enought to add Tint to the two front windows. On the other hand the guys that worked on detailing the car brought it back with the same scratches they were suppose to remove unfortunately i had to leave that that day I and had to bring it back the next business which was Monday. They also gave me a spare key that belonged to another car. But overall we are very happy with our call and would recomend Alex to our friend.

Had to have warranty work done on my 2013 Pathfinder. Mr Andrey was very customer friendly, he was not pushy or rude. I am not familiar with auto work and my verbage is by no means correct but he understood that and took care of all that needed to be done even with a horrible discription. He explained clearly what had been done and why. I did not buy my Pathefinder here but I should have I reccomend Tynan's Nissan Aurora Co over Arapahoe Nissan. I went in looking to make a purchase on a Nissan Rogue... Spoke with Jonathan and explained what I was dealing with... Income, Credit, trade in and he said he was sure he could help. After I completed the paperwork he came back and said the finance company would only finance a Altima or Juke at a ridiculous monthly payment. When I think about it now he was even skeptical about me test driving the Rogue and pushed me into completing the credit app first. He said he approached several banks but that was the best offer he could give me. He never showed me any official paperwork only hand written scribbles on a folded piece of paper. I just felt like it wasn't right so I approached a other Nissan dealer and they immediately financed me through NMAC, I've been driving my new car since Monday (4 days). I guess Tynans didn't want my business or I just wouldn't let them overcharge me. Maybe they think a woman going into a dealership alone can be taken advantage of. Stay away from this place!

The instrument panel on my new Nissan was no longer operative. Jeff had told me that it would take about two weeks to get the necessary part so he made arrangements to get me a rental car. He later called me back and said that Nissan was expediting delivery of the part and so I was able to get my car back in two days. Jeff was very responsive to my needs and if I have another problem I would be more than happy to work with him.

Buyer beware. I brought my 2013 Frontier truck in for a warranty repair on an obviously defective clutch, which wore out after just 8K miles (should last 80-100K). They refused to do the repair because a clutch is a wear-and-tear part, and they claimed it was my fault for wearing it out so fast. I found that interesting, since I have driven manual cars for 16 years and have never had a problem with a clutch before. After days of bickering back and forth on this issue, I finally took the truck to another Nissan dealer in town, where they replaced the clutch for free under warranty within 24 hours, no questions asked.On a separate note, I had asked Tynan's to also look into a problem with the stereo system during the same service visit. They fixed the problem, but returned the car to me with the dash board and subwoofer box still disassembled, so I ended up having to put them back together on my own.This is the worst experience I've ever had with a dealership. The service department is sleazy and dishonest, and I will not be dealing with them in the future.

Very pleased with my first car buying experience. Alex is a pleasure to work with and will go to the moon and back to make you feel comfortable and create a deal that works best for you. Mr. Williams, the manager, made sure to greet me before business. Although I didn't intend to buy a car until a few months later, they worked with me on all my concerns and didn't make me feel greasy like some dealerships do. Alex made sure to get all the requirements I wanted in my new car and then some. And Tom in financing is wonderful as well. He's a very genuine person who takes his time making sure you understand all the paperwork. Alex and Tom both were there til 10:30 at night with me and not once did I feel rushed. Isuzu's are not the easiest to get serviced since they are no longer imported into the USA. Tynan's is the authorized Denver service center for Isuzu, and I couldn't be more pleased. They are always been honest/straightforward with me about the work that is needed, and all work has been done to my complete satisfaction. Their prices have been more than fair. When I am ready to buy a new vehicle, I will consider Tynan's because of the great service there.

I went a more that week ago to get a part for my vehicle and i was told that it was going to take 3 days to get it, and now it has been a little more than i week and and still waiting so i not happy with that. the reason is i order the driver door handle and right now is very cold and cannot open the door , so its very difficult to get in. other than that the 2 previous times he has help he is been real y good.Now i n the past i have been few more times other employee has help me all times don't know his name but he has very pushed always my car need something extra and i dont like that if my car need it i am fine but i am sure you guys have my previous times in the past in find out what his name is, not happy with him.

In March of 2013 my wife and I bought a brand new 2013 Nissan Murano from Tynan Nissan in Aurora, Colorado. We owned a 2006 Murano and LOVED it!!! The 06 Murano was great over 100k miles. We decided to sell it and buy one with zero miles since we do a lot of road trips. Tynan's was awesome during the purchase of the vehicle (like all dealers) but once they got our $45,000 the service vanished. At 12,000 miles I changed the oil for the second time and went to rotate the tires only to find that all four tires were BALD. I called Tynan's with my problem and they assured me that the would easily fix the problem. I was told that they would check and fix the alignment and replace the tires as soon as I arrived. I drove 2.5 hours to get to Tynan's and immediately started getting the run around from the service writers. Long story short, there was no alignment problems at all. Nissan will not stand behind their junk tires that they put on their premium vehicles. Toyo tires have no mileage warranty on the crap that Nissan puts on their new vehicles. So the tires on a 45K vehicle are not between the bumpers on a "bumper to bumper" warranty. Thankfully Tynan's Nissan was willing to sell me a new set of junk Toyo tires for $400 per tire, but they didn't have them in stock. Luckily I found a Discount Tire that had Michelin tires in that size for $250 per tire. They also had the same Toyo tire for $200 a tire (wow). So I had to put $1000 worth of tires on my brand new car.Basically Tynan's Nissan would not take care of a customer or back up a product that they endorse, and, they tried to MAKE MORE MONEY on the situation. DO NOT DO BUSINESS with TYNAN NISSAN. They want your money and then they want you to go away. I love Nissan and will always buy Nissan but I will never do business with Tynan again EVER, not even for a spark plug. Go somewhere else.

This dealer ship presents itself as a FAMILY-OWNED business that has a huge inventory of RELIABLE used vehicles, to help get you back on your feet after a major life event like Bankruptcy. Truth is, they are NOT! I purchased a used jeep liberty crd from them that came in as a trade in that same day. I asked for a car fax and never received it. I was advised that the vehicle we purchased was as reliable as they came and would last me for years. Cat, the finance/sales person that sold us the vehicle even said, "you can turn around in a year and sale it for what you are buying it for today." The vehicle was in for repairs less than 3 weeks after we purchased it and after we got it back, it was right back in for repairs 3 weeks later. In fact, of the 13 months we have now owned the vehicle we have barely had it in our possession for 6 full months. Issues have included a U joint that failed, Transfer case and an apparent transmission filter that, of course that isn't all, but the support in response to all of these issues have been minimal. The customer service related has been a pure pass of the buck. Reach out to them on FB, they hide the post. Saw their 5 star reviews performed on this site on their face book page, but come here and their average isn't close to the5 star reviews that they post on their face book page. I asked their used car sales manager to buy this vehicle back and to allow us to purchase a new vehicle and his response was "I recommend you keep it, I would love to have a vehicle like this on my lot, it will run forever. But I'll be happy to take it as a trade" Funny, I went to another dealership who was happy to print a car fax for us and it disclosed that the vehicle was in an accident resulting in a tow that they failed to advise us at Tynan's Nissan. I do not recommend anyone purchase one of their used vehicles, in fact I was warned by someone else with a crappy experience. But my wife and I had previously purchased 3 new/used vehicles from them in the last 10 years and trusted them with our family, it was a mistake and now we ask that someone a Tynans step up and hear our story and help make this right!

I purchased a 07 Toyota Avalon in September and a 13 Nissan Altima in December each time the buying experience was great, As a female buyer I received no hassle during the entire process and walked out with what I wanted. I have a history with this location in the service department and that is why this time I decided to purchase from them rather than a broker. The service department is exceptional Mike is very knowledgeable and his team does quality work. My husband Jeffrey and I purchased a 2009 Tiguan from Tynans in Aurora, CO for our daughter's college graduation gift. The sales staff did not honor the original sales agreement with my husband but we bought the car anyway. (Of Note: the car was completely out of gas upon purchase and we almost ran out within 2 blocks of the dealership.) Having owned the car only since July 2013 (3 months) it has been in for repairs multiple times. We encountered a severe sunroof leak within the first week of ownership that soaked the car. Tynans repaired the issue without question and this was appreciated. Secondly the battery died within the first month. Over the month of September the vehicle overheated on multiple occasions It was taken to Midas for a check. Midas could not recreate the problem. 2 weeks later the overheating happened again stranding my daughter at 11 PM at nite in downtown Denver! She took the car immediately to Larry H. Miller VW on Colfax. They contacted us today to advise that the car has faulty cooling fans and the cost would be close to $1,000 for repairs. I feel the dealership failed to recognize these problems before reselling its product or was just negligent in informing the purchaser of the multiple defects at the time of purchase. Tynan's failed its customer and Volkswagen by selling this vehicle.

My experience with Tynan's Nissan overall was a good experience. We were able to complete out business transaction within a few hours; and the dealership was able to work out a better interest rate for us than our bank had originally approved us for as well. My sales agent's confidence was a little overwhelming in the beginning; however towards the end of our interaction either I didn't recognize it because I was excited about my new vehicle, or he truly turned down the cockiness. Understandably as a sales associate you have to be confident in order to succeed; but there were a couple of times I felt his "confidence" displayed a lack of concern which could have been avoided and he could have used a kindler gentler approachmeaning; I didn't get the impression he was working too hard to win us over for the sale in the beginning but once he completed the financial portion and understood that we were really serious about leaving the lot that day with a car he was all in with a more accommodating attitude. Bottom line, Jonathan closed the deal and assisted in getting us what we wanted.

I've always heard when shopping for a vehicle that you don't choose the car, it chooses you. I went in on the 27th after my husband had called around looking at some cars that may fit well for me after my car finally died. We went in after I left work after an exhausting day with a Prius or Civic in mind but I really wanted a Honda CRV. We met with Rolando Marsh who was so sweet and accomodating. This was my first time buying a car from a dealership and I was very nervous but he eased my fears. As it turned out the Civic was actually a CRV! The car had found me. A beautiful, black pearl, 2010 CRV with all of the features I was looking for and then some! Rolando helped me figure out a long term plan for purchasing and spent the time we needed for questions and suggestions. It was an overall wonderful experience and I drove away that night and am over the moon in love with my new car. Thank you Tynan's for employing such a terrific staff and thank you Rolando for going above and beyond to make my experience one that I am happy to have had. I've already started recommendations to friends and family that they come in for a visit!

I loved my time spent at Tynan's! Ryland was so chill and waited for me to make decisions for myself. He was patient and informative, but not pushy. Ron took some time to come talk to me when he noticed I had been sitting for a while. He was very friendly and made me feel at home. Marcus, who handled my finances, was very informative as well. He communicated clearly and in a way that helped me understand exactly what I was getting into. Overall, the service was outstanding. Almost every employee said hello to me and made I personal connection. If it wasn't so far from home, I would probably find myself here just to hang out. (and use free wifi...)

This place is a disaster. STAY AWAY......... They are all well and good, until you sign the papers, then you become unimportant. We bought a car there just before we moved. They shipped it to us in Virginia but did none of the paperwork. When I went to get a tag for it, the state of Virginia needed a title. We called Nissan finance for that but after 2 months, Tynan still had not sent our paperwork to them. All they were doing was collecting our money for the last 2 months. Now we have a car sitting in the garage that we can't get a tag for and Tynan ignores our emails and voicemails. I was supposed to start a new job yesterday but had to blow that off because I had no car.Finally...we got to speak to AMANDA. Bless her heart. She says she will overnight the paperwork to Virginia today. She is the only one who didn't blow us off and we are really hopeful that she will do what she says. The title was sitting there all along.....

I was one of the many affected by the Northern Colorado floods, and while out trying to get home in the waters my car stalled and died. luckily for me it was in front of this Tynan's VW dealership and a certain employee ran right out to my car in the rain and helped me push it out. We got it to a higher surface and were letting it dry. I ended up leaving my car there and I put all my trust in this one employee, Justin Lear, in my car and everything in it. The next day I was able to come pick it up and when I did he had fixed all of the interior car problems, and even put my bumper that got torn off by the water back on, all free of charge! He made it a very easy and not a worry was needed, I will definitely be going back to this dealership in the future! Extremely pleased!

While my car was in the shop it got flooded by rain water, coming in from the driver's side trunk. The last time that my car had any kind of work done it was at this same dealership and it was on the driver's side, back brake light. In order to fix this brake light one must take the entire light part out. Ironically, the first time that my car is exposed to this much rain it has a leak in the driver's side trunk. They didn't even look into it when I suggested it. I will never be taking my car there again.

I wanted to test drive a Nissan Rogue, the sales person went to make a copy of my drivers lic. and get the key for the car. He didn't return for 20 min. as I waited in the sun. When he finally returned, he said he could not find the key. I had driven across Denver just to drive this car. I said I would return the next day for a test drive. The following day, I called to make sure they had found the key and was told that they had found it. I drove all the way out to the dealer and talked to the sales person who showed me the key, but could not find the car. It turned out that it had been sold a few hours before I arrived and he had the spare key but hadn't checked if the car was still available. Then he proceeded to try to sell me a new one. I would never buy a car from Tynans after this experience.

They treated me like a celebrity. I worked with Tony - he was a gentleman and a true professional. Do yourself a favor and ask for him. He took my calls in the evening and treated me like a friend and I consider him one. After my purchase they backed my car into the showroom and showed me how to use and operate every gadget and even answered more questions the next day. Jim Tynan himself answered my questions. They treated me like I had just bought a Ferrari or a fleet of 12 VW's. I get more compliments on my 2013 Black on Black Beetle with Heritage rims that any car before and I love it, love it, love it. Dieter was my sales person and you can really tell that he likes his job. He was there throughout the entire sales process and was able to ask just about every question I had. I had given up hope on my dreams of owning a vehicle over the year of 2000. I had gone from dealership to dealership and was given the same answer you need so much more down than I had to offer them. I even fell in the trap of $99.00 down as commercial states I thought that was the best deal in town then when I actually went to that dealership another story it was not $99.00 down of course was more. Went to another dealership they let me drive in a 2012 Dodge Dart awesome I looked and felt like Queen Diana but then went inside to what I thought was to make a deal turned out to be the worst day of my life because I was humiliated by not one or two but three salesmen after that experience I had given up. Then through my brother who had gone through the same experience as I had gone through with other dealerships referred me to Tynan's what an amazing experience we both had. Now we are both in Volkswagon Jetta's the windows are even electric lol. I recommend Tynan's to the world what a life shocking experience I will never forget. I was treated with the up most respect I now have a 2012 Volkswagon Jetta and so happy thanks to all at Tynan's James Taylor, Micah,Steve Rodriguez and most of all Bill Tinkle.

We just picked up our 4th vehicle from Tynan's. John had gotten everything he needed from us via email and had everything ready to go! Dieter showed us the newest features of the 2013 VW Jetta TDI and we were ready to go on about our day. We were going to buy out our lease, however we ended up driving off in the 2013 Jetta TDI for about $50 less that keeping my other Jetta which I loved...but this new one is totally awesome!!!! VW has improved so much on the performance of a stereo-typed diesel car! KUDOS to DIETER (3x sales person), JOHN (having all business ready to sign) and Tynan's for believing in their customers. I always find the entire staff to be polite and helpful, as well as conscientious of my time. Because I'm now on my third car leased through Tynan's, the leasing process is super simple and - at this point - Tynan's calls me when they have a good deal running (like Sign & Drive). I've not had any issues with their cars or repairs, and the service staff makes it easy to schedule an appointment. I would totally recommend Tynan's to anyone looking to buy or lease a VW!

I test drove the 2009 VW Tiguan and not exactly what I had in mind in buying but after I drove it I end up liking the vehicle. Flew in from another state on a Saturday to close the deal on a car... and discovered I'd left the cashier's check for the purchase at home. Bank was closed, overnighting the check wasn't an option, and my return trip timetable was pretty much set in stone Yikes! But the Tynan's staff was quick to assure me this wasn't a problem (and I wasn't the first). They arranged for financing within the hour and I drove away with the exact car I wanted, which had taken me months to find. Crisis averted by a friendly, smart, competent staff. Tynan's FTW!

Just received some of the worst customer service from this dealer that I've experienced in a long time from a commission based employee who TRULY wants to earn business and not just his monthly minimum. After reading the other Yelp reviews and reviews in other places, I can't say that I'm surprised.Was dealing with this dealership and a salesperson name SCOTT MITCHELL on a new car offer online. Based on my experience, they can pay me to take off their lot if they want to do business.Was offered a price above and beyond pricing I had received from other dealerships, as well as pricing outside that of other comparable vehicles that I've received. I was open and honest with SCOTT MITCHELL of TYNAN NISSAN about those facts. And let him know that I would need to receive a sharper offer from him, if they wanted to win my business. I was then told by SCOTT MITCHELL from TYNAN NISSAN that I was only interested in price, and not service and honesty. I countered back to him, politely, that I was and considered those de facto needs for earning my business. Also, I suggested he might want to be a little more polite in his dealings with customers if he wanted to earn their business.SCOTT MITCHELL from TYNAN NISSAN then told me the first price he gave me was the best he could do. I told him, I seriously doubted that was the case, and that I'd make him a counter offer. I also told him that strictly based on his service towards me so far, and the online reviews of Tynan's that his service and honesty angle wasn't really winning me over so far.SCOTT MITCHELL from TYNAN NISSAN then decided that rather than continue trying to earn my business that he'd rather completely withdraw their offer and essentially kick me out the virtual door of their online marketplace.I'd strongly recommend never dealing with SCOTT MITCHELL from TYNAN NISSAN if you can help it. I have no idea if the rest of their dealership and staff operate this way, but based on the treatment I received this morning, I'm not even going to bother to find.

Justin is one of the most fantastic business people we have ever encountered. Our first contact was on Thursday by phone, because we live hours away in Clifton, CO. We were able to get all the info we needed from Justin and vice versa. Before we knew it he had the ball rolling fast. So Saturday morning despite the weather we drove 4 hours to purchase a Jeep that we had never seen or driven. The facilaties were great and the process was streamlined. I will not only be reffering friends and family to Justin. I'll give them his personal cell phone number so that the deal can be worked out, and then I'll bring them over the pass myself to Tynans so that they can recieve the top notch A+ service that we received from Justin Kopp and his amazing support staff. Thank You Tynan family for making us a part of your crew.

Rolando at Tynan's was extremely helpful with the entire process of purchasing our new vehicle. We were extremley pleased with the level of customer service provided. With our recent bankruptcy we did not know exactly where to start in trying to establish new credit and purchasing a car. Rolando not only got us approved for a new car but educated us on what we need to do to re-establish a good credit rating. We will return in the future to purchase another vehicle from Tynans and Rolando.

I purchased a car about 4-5 years ago that recently went through a total loss due to a terrible car accident about 3.5 weeks ago. I contacted Matt Tynan about the situation and he put me in contact with Markus Kamm to purchase another car that fit into the perameters of my criteria. Markus found a car immediately that met all my needs. Markus left the timing and needs in my hands to make a good decision w/o rushing my decision. I apprciate his communication expertise and personal customer service. Markus turned my case over to Jeff Costa who processed my sale needs with exepetional customer service and compassion. I value and appreciate the personal time and effort spent on this sensitve situation. I recieved quality care without "typical" sales presssure. I will continue to support Tynan's. This is my 2nd new car purchase from this dealer (1st was a new 2005 Altima bought in 2004) and not one complaint about that experience!!! So I felt confident about using them again.... I knew what I wanted and how much I would pay, Calvin Stevens (internet sales) made it happen! I sent him my requirements and he found the right car for me at the price I wanted to pay!! It was all done over a few emails.... Great customer service!!! The only complaint I had was I had to wait hours for my car to be delivered to the lot which took a while longer than I expected (paperwork & traffic from Boulder) but it couldnt be avoided as the vehicle I wanted was at another lot in Boulder and had to be purchased by the dealer and brought in for me... Overall the dealership and Calvin were great and since I had prearranged financing the closing was short and sweet as well! Thank you for another great buying experience!

I wanted to be able to give this dealership a good rating since they are locally owned and operated, and because Tynan's Volkswagen has such a good reputation in Colorado. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this dealership. I saw a newspaper ad for a 2012 Nissan Rogue that was heavily discounted due to incentives and rebates. I went down and drove the car on November 12, 2012 and was able to get the vehicle at what I thought was a fair price. When I signed the loan papers I elected to have the rebate check sent to me instead of using it towards the purchase of the vehicle. Marcus in finance told me that I would receive my incentive check within 3 weeks. When I did not receive my incentive within 4 weeks, I contacted him and he said it would be 3 to 5 weeks. After 5 weeks passed I again contacted Marcus. It has now been almost 7 weeks and I have not received my rebate check and the dealership is unable to tell me when I will receive it or if it has been mailed or when it will be mailed. Marcus has told me several times in the last week that 'someone' from Nissan will call me but he could not give me contact information for the 'someone'. Apparently, it is a well kept secret as to how / who / what / when a rebate or incentive is paid to the customer. I have called Nissan Corporation every other day and provided them with the VIN number for the Nissan I bought at Tynans, but Nissan has no record of me buying the vehicle. Of course, I do not know if I am calling the right department or person or who I would need to talk to find out when I can expect to receive the rebate check. Unfortunately, Marcus continues to refuse to give me any contact information for Nissan or the name of who he has been dealing with. Nissan has never contacted me or attempted to contact me. I do not even know what contact information for me Marcus has given the mystery person at Nissan or whether it is correct. In other words, Tynan's advertises incentives and rebates but there is no guarantee you will ever receive it and Tynan's will not tell you who to contact about it.The salesman repeatedly attempted to get me to agree to try to finance through Nissan or their banks instead of using the loan I had preapproved with my lender. I was told by my salesman that I needed to fill out and sign an Application even to use my own lender. I later found out Tynan's Nissan submitted my Loan Application to their banks without my consent or knowledge. Despite this, I still not write a bad review, again because they are locally owned and operated.To make matters worse, the car was delivered to me with a bad front tire. When we test drove the vehicle, I told the salesman that the 'low tire pressure' light was on and he told me that it was because of the cold weather. In his defense, I was supposed to take delivery of the vehicle that day but due to delays with financing I was not able to pick it up until the next day on my lunch hour when I had limited time. The General Manager did tell me I could bring it into their Service Department and they would fix the tire but I was not able to get back there, I took it to my mechanic and had him fix it - yes at my expense I had to fix the tire of my brand new car. I regret ever setting foot in this dealership and will never go to them for service nor will I ever recommend them even to my worst enemy. Basically I ended up paying $2,500 more than agreed upon for a brand new car, with a bad tire and having my credit score negatively affected by them shopping for a loan (without my consent or knowledge) even though I already had my financing in place. Now I will have to spend my time filing a Complaint with the Department of Revenue Auto Industry Division for buying a new car from this dealership. They really know how to take the fun out of buying a new car. They are constantly running TV and newspaper ads especially now with their supposed 'Holiday' Specials - don't get suckered in like I did. Run! Really - run! - there are good dealerships out there but unfortunately this is not one of them.

Yes, you ask, "Why didn't they just walk away?" and the answer is that one of the patrons is handicapped. We bought the car at Tynan's because they had a decent selections and they are close to our house. After several trips back and forth and massive haggling over unnecessary fees and searching for lost paperwork, we returned to get a tire fixed and a leaky sun-roof and window repaired. All of these issued were promised to be functional according to the Certified Pre-Owned Inspection. On top of all this, the department that took our taxes and other fees sent the registration documents to us and not to the DMV. The taxes paid by their check was less than what we needed to pay. Anyone and everyone we dealt with were not upfront and the one that was was promptly fired within the week in which we purchased our car. My suggestion is that you can choose another Nissan dealer in the vicinity. Skip Tynan's and do yourself a favor.

I called this dealer to find out if a car was still available and they refused to help me because I did not want to give them my name. I told them i simply wanted to know if the car was still on the lot and the salesman hung up on me. I called back to speak with a manager about the situation and he refused to address it.

I had given up hope on getting a new 2011 Maxima S. But Markus and Taher came through with what was later described as an unprecedented price on a new 2011 Maxima. I cant say enough about these guys, they went above and beyond to ensure I got the best deal and that I was completely satisfied.
