I say thank you.. because they stayed late to show me the car. Took time with me to go over financeing. Took time to be fare with me with my trade in. And took time for me through phone calls and text message to make this purchase possible. Also brought the Buick to me and all the paperwork,so i didn't have to make another trip to Fargo. The employees at Valley Imports worked with us to buy the exact car we wanted. They made the whole process simple and easy. Aaron Schoenack and Marshal Girodat kept us totally informed on when the car was being assembled in Germany, went to port, and arrived in the U.S. Matt Walz put the financing together and all we did was come in an sign the papers. There was no waiting for paper work. There is a lady and we think her name is Kris who does the ordering of cars. She was most supportive and pleasant when we came in to pick up our new 2017 Audi Q7 Prestige. Marshal Girodat provided an outstanding training session on our new car. We are slow learners and Marshal made the complicated issues easy and fun to learn. This car purchase at Valley Imports was the best car purchase we had ever encountered and we have bought many new cars. We will be repeat customers.

My wife found a used Hyundai online at Valley Imports. Our friend (and Valley Imports Parts employee) Justin Seng encouraged us to come in and check it out. Nic was extremely helpful, laid-back and easy to work with. My wife specifically mentioned how happy she was to deal with Nic. Greg (appraiser) gave us a nice trade-in. Matt in finance got the paperwork in order and Kristin guided us through the closing smoothly. The staff even kept my 5-year-old son entertained while we worked out the details. Thanks, Nic. Nic was very helpful with the purchase and trade in process. He only cared what we were looking for and was able to answer every question we had...as well as answers for the questions I didn't think to ask! --David Donahue is a no-pressure salesman, I would buy from him again. Stayed over 2 hours after closing so I could buy the vehicle that night. --Michelle Alm got me a great rate and the number of months that worked for me. --Bought a 2006 Lincoln Mark LT which was in great shape. --Got a fair trade on my vehicle. --Great atmosphere to buy a vehicle. Michelle Alm, Business Sales Manager, is a true leader in helping the customers needs. She is very proactive and helped us with our new Q7 purchase and paperwork. She had really made our purchase process simpler and convenient. She was always ready to help us with our questions. She was always flexible and even stayed late nights to accommodate our schedules to complete the paperwork. She was a big asset in turning around our purchase so quickly and getting our Q7 on time.I have been part of Audi/VW family since 2006 and I can't think any better automobile selection I can make. Erik Swenson was great to deal with! I came in for a visit in the fall of 2015 just to look around and test drive but not planning on seriously considering a purchase until early 2016. I gave Erik my contact information and the time frame I was looking at but NEVER expected a follow-up. I can't tell you how many times at other dealers I've visited, asked for a follow-up and never heard from again. David Donahue helped us find the perfect vehicle and went above and beyond his job description to take care of us. From showing us all of the changes on the new models to researching questions we had for him. He continues to keep contact with us (4 months after the sale) to make sure we are still happy with our vehicle. I just regret not going there sooner. So if you are looking for a new car, I strongly recommend going to Valley Imports and finding David, Michelle or Kristen and tell them I sent you. I am so happy I can't thank them enough.

I needed a new vehicle and fast. I had a very specific list of things I needed from a new vehicle. I had very set budget. It wasn't looking promising for me, but Ryan Fischer, was not going to let me go without what I needed. I love that they don't operate on commission there, so Ryan was really focused on getting me exactly what I needed and not the most expensive this he could sell me. Ryan found me a car that fit every need I had and I loved it from the moment I saw it, the test drive was great, the paper work was very quick, it all happened so fast and I was so pleased with how well and how quickly I was taken care of at Valley Imports by Ryan Fischer. I would recommend him to anyone. I have a beautiful, safe and awesome new car now. I am so happy. Thanks Ryan.

My wife and I were coming to the end of our second lease through Valley Imports just before Christmas in 2015. The original plan was to give our salesperson time to search the inventory, check for promotions and basically get the ball rolling. If there were any year end deals or customer loyalty programs, this was the time for Valley to find out. We stop in periodically to carouse the lot to see what might be in our next lease interest and we are always greeted promptly by Erik Swenson,our preferred salesperson. We have developed a nice repor with him over the years and have come to trust him and all Valley Imports employees. Erik was on fire this time around as he completed the fastest auto deal agreement I have ever been a part of . That says a lot coming from a guy who has a new car every 3 years or so. My wife simply laid out her choices and within a day or two, Erik was in dealings via phone with the exact model, color and package we wanted. He then proceeded to retrieve the vehicle in less than two days and had all the preparations in order. I was at the dealership for less than two hours which is basically unheard of. The finance portion of our visit was equally efficient and comfortable as we dealt with a very nice gentleman named Armin Arnautovic .He moved things along quickly and was very personable and knowledgable concerning the paperwork process. I will continue to seek out Erik Swenson every time I am ready for our next Audi. We are very happy with each visit whether we have a question about a car to needing assistance with a taillight bulb . Ryan Fischer was the sales representative that I met with, and he put me in contact with Matt Walz. The two of them together worked to find a car that I could get so I could have reliable transportation for me and my son. It took a few days, but it was completely worth the wait. Ryan Fischer was a very professional sales consultant. His personality made it easy to work with him and ask questions. I got a better deal than at other dealers. That meant a lot considering I wasn't buying a high priced vehicle. The financing staff was very nice as well. Went in to test drive and Ryan was so helpful and informative I ended up with a brand spanking new 2016 Mitsubishi, He also explained the difference between leasing and buying very well. He let me know all processes in advance so I knew what to expect. He did a great job of going over everything in the car and was very patient with all my questions. Also Armin did a great job with the financial process. They were very friendly and helpful. I did not feel pushed into anything at all.

He was able to find me an amazing rate so I couldn't be super mad about having a car payment again. Armin and Nic helped make the process as stress free as possible considering that I was turning over a large chunk of change! If Nic's boss reads this, please get the poor guy a calculator. Also, I wanted to keep my license plates, but the state of ND decided to get ugly new ones and forced me to have to pay the extra money for those. Armin did go above and beyond to see if I could get any other plates, but unfortunately ND says NO! Thanks for trying Armin!

Went there to by a used car. I was greeted by Nic Goettle. I was eyeing a number of used cars. He straightforward told me that the ones I chose had problems that would cost a lot of money to fix. I asked about another car and he said it was fine. No bargaining. I returned back a week later and bought that car (2007 Chrysler Town and Country) partially because of this salesman's honest attitude. He was quite nice and accommodated my payment preferences. Erik Swenson was very personable while helping me in my first experience buying a Mercedes Benz. He also answered all of my questions and took a lot of time showing me how to use the numerous displays. He even helped me with the m brace system. I will likely return in a couple years to by a new model from Erik. Hopefully, Michelle Alm will still be there as well. She made the paperwork seem pleasant was very knowledgeable about warranty and scheduled maintenance prepayment.

Anyone that has gone through the new vehicle buying business and been frustrated has clearly never gone to see Erik Swenson at Valley Imports. He responded so quickly to my emails and always made time for me to test drive or ask questions. I started off looking at an older vehicle but it just wasn't a good fit. He was extremely patient and asked me what I was looking for. He didn't push or pressure me into buying anything and just let me know he was there when I was ready. I ended up a brand new vehicle and I love it. I'm thankful I wasn't harassed into buying something I wasn't going to fully love. I got approved for a loan and got a bether rate through Valley than I did with my bank which was shocking. The whole team was great to work with and I recommend anyone interested in a vehicle to see Erik Swenson at Valley! Do it you won't be disappointed.

Our MB/Sprinter has not been reliable in our travels - damage codes, faulty sensors, A/C runs hot sometimes, transmission issues, limp mode, etc. After four days of service elsewhere - we were headed back to Michigan and the A/C quit working in 90o temps all across ND. We spent the night in our Sprinter RV at Valley Imports lot. At 7:30 am Brian got things rolling for us - he listened and acted appropriately under pressure! he cleared the schedule, swapped A/C unit and performed additional service above the call of duty! We were back on the road by about noon. Seems to be a very caring staff at Valley Imports!

Tana worked with us. She was pleasant, fun and courteous. She also knew everything there was to know about the cars. She was never pushy and followed up with us to see how things were going. If it wasn't for Bob, who wasn't even our sales person I don't believe we would've stayed the duration to get the truck. We found the truck we wanted, took a test drive, immediate approval it was great. It was a holiday so this must come into play however since starting the buying process at 10:30 a.m., approval immediately we finally were able to speak with the finance dept and finished at 2:00 p.m. I wouldn't recommend bringing in a trade, the offer was more then insulting by this other gentlemen. WOW. That said, Bob hands down made our day with conversation, good humor and just overall was great to be around. We had a good sales person, he left us a few times but he did good, but it was truly Bob that made the long hours not seem so long. Thank you Bob, our next purchase will be from you!

Ryan did a great job finding a car with the options I wanted (odd combination). He did not pressure me into buying a car after I test drove a used one. I then decided to buy new in the end. Ryan is one of the best car sales associates we have ever encountered. He was the only one in two days of visiting car lots that actually came out and visited with us. He was friendly and personable and very patient with our decision-making process. Ryan did an excellent job of answering our questions and when he didn't know an answer, he made sure to find out! I began the process of looking for a new car several months ago and got in touch with Erik early on to come in and test drive a couple cars. Being from Duluth, we had only purchased cars from local dealers. When they could not find the particular model and features I was looking for we widened our search. After extending our search to 500 miles, we found a 2008 Aspen with low miles and a bench seat, just what we were looking for. Buying a car from 250 miles away is harrowing to say the least. Erik Swenson made it easy. He answered questions, explained policy and send us many pictures - even created a quick video. I have a thing about rust and this body type tends to rust. Erik took extra time to take photos of all the problem area. There was never a time through out the entire process that he pushed us to make a decision. When we said we were coming out to look at it, he pulled it off the lot and held it while we drove the 4 1/2 hours to get there. The car was everything he said. Rust was very minimal and we left with the car later in the afternoon. He even stayed after the dealer closed to ensure that the deal was done and that we were happy. I would buy from him again Not much more to say. If you are looking for a car, locally or from a distance, I think Erik is a salesman you can trust.

I was in the market to lease a 2015 Golf R. I was immediately contacted by Erik Swenson via email after visiting Valley's website. Erik did his best to find all of the answers I was looking for as to when the car would become available to dealerships and how to go about securing one for myself. I submitted a question through the Valley Imports website and I received a very prompt reply from Tana. She answered every question I had in detail (even on her days off) and was very helpful and friendly when I finally met her. She was not at all pushy, which was so refreshing! I knew my needs and wants were her number one priority and she far exceeded my expectations. Kevin was amazing to work with! I have been a devout GM customer but was looking to find something else for my new lease. I didn't know anything about Volkswagens but have heard great things about them. I had a plethora of questions for Kevin about both the Passat and the Jetta. My biggest concern was if 2 car seats could fit in the back and we could still all be comfortable. Most of our communication was via email and phone since I am in GF. I had about 30 mins during a recent trip to Fargo and Kevin coordinating to have a Passat and a Jetta, warmed up, and ready for us to look at. I walked into Valley Imports admittingly looking kind of confused/lost. Kevin introduced himself with a smile and a question, "Can I help you find something?" Already knowing what vehicle I wanted (2014 Audi Q5), I didn't want to be pushed or haggled, and it was like Kevin could see my defenses were up. What impressed me most was when he said "I normally handle Internet Sales, but let's see what we can find for you". His calm demeanor and polite attitude made it easy for me to relax and be honest. Each time I mentioned what I did and didn't want, he was motivated to look at different options for me. He showed me exactly what he was doing on his computer, made phone calls right in front of me, and explained everything without using confusing terms and jargon. My Mercedes Benz GL 450 was towed from Bemidji to this service center (being the closest). By the time we picked up the vehicle about 3 weeks later, the gas tank that was full was empty, the wind shield was broken and the inside of the vehicle was thrashed. I spoke with Steve, the manager, he told me the vehicle was only driven about 4 miles while in their possession. That tells me he doesn't have control over his staff and over the vehicles at this dealership. I'm waiting and watching to see how this manager and dealership correct their wrong doings.

My husband and I were looking for a used car as gift to our daughter as a birthday/graduation gift. We found a very nice looking Volkswagon on the website and went in to meet with Kevin (secretly) to take it for a test drive, etc... Of course Kevin did a fantastic job teaching me about the car and all the safety features and everything that goes along with buying a car. But the best thing Kevin did was help me plan to surprise my daughter with the car. He had the car detailed (looked like new!) and set it just outside the showroom all by itself so when our family 'spontaneously' decided to drive through the car lot, the car immediately caught my daughter's eye and we went up to look at it and there was a card on the seat that said "Happy Birthday". The next day my daughter went in to the dealership and Kevin helped her set up all the features of the car and gave her a tutorial. I definitely recommend Kevin and would look forward to working with him again should the opportunity arise!

A great experience from the minute we walked in the door. We asked to speak with someone regarding the Q7 out front and Tana introduced herself as the Audi Specialist. We weren't in any hurry to trade. Hadn't even looked at a Q7 but decided to take a test drive. We were hooked. Tana took the time to show us all of the features and was even willing to located exactly what we wanted. We looked on a Saturday and agreed to make the deal on the following Monday. I sent a message asking if the vehicle was still available and with in minutes Tana had responded and we set up a test drive. The whole process was far from stressful! Tana made it very easy to go through the whole car buying gig. I never felt "pressured" into making a purchase, in fact she was more than willing to give me time to make up my mind and answered all questions I had about the vehicle itself. We went into Valley Imports knowing the exact car we wanted, but unsure about options we wanted. Taylor was very friendly and honest. He answered all our questions and gave us the information we needed to make our choice. He did not come across as pushy in any way. When we wanted to pick up our car ASAP, he quickly made the arrangements to make that happen and even stayed late after work to go through the final inspection and closing paperwork. It is refreshing to find a kind and honest car salesman! It appears Valley Imports does an excellent job of trying to make you comfortable while you make your car buying choice. In the last 10 years, I've purchased 2 cars from dealerships - this purchase was my 3rd. My experiences with other dealerships have not always been great - lots of pressure from the sales person and then walking away feeling like maybe I could have gotten a better deal. That was thankfully not the case at Valley Imports or with Erik Swenson. My experience from start to finish was incredible!!While researching cars online, I came across the website for Valley Imports and sent an IM inquiry about one of their cars. Erik sent a message back within a few seconds and spent the next few minutes 'chatting' with me via IM. We set up a time for me to come in for a test driver later in the week. Upon arrival for the test drive, I was impressed with how friendly and non-sales oriented everyone was. Erik took his time to ask what I was looking for and what I didn't want in a car and then went with us on a test drive. It sounds odd to say, but I really appreciated that he came with on the test drive, as I've had several other dealers just hand us the keys and then go off to do something else - Erik coming with made me feel like he valued my time (and money); it was also nice as he could point out features of the car during the drive and he answered my questions. When we returned to the dealership, I let Erik know we were checking out other cars, so he politely asked if he could give us some pricing information. This took about 5 minutes, with us leaving already knowing what we could expect to pay if we went with this vehicle. After test driving other vehicles, I emailed Erik (we live out of town) and let him know I liked the Jetta and would like to purchase one, but in a different color than what they had on the lot. Erik emailed me back after hours and told me he'd call me Monday. Without fail, he called me Monday, I let him know what color I was looking for and provided the information to start the financing process - all over the phone without having to make the 1+ hour drive in to town. This was especially beneficial since our movers were at the house and there was no way for me to make it to the dealership that day. By the end of the week, Erik had the color car I wanted at the dealership, and all we had to do was come in and sign paperwork. I figured that would be the end of it, since that is where most dealers stop, but Erik took a good 30 minutes to orientate me to the car and even called a few days later to see how things were going. I truly would recommend this dealership, and especially Erik, to anyone in the market for an import car! The service and genuine integrity of everyone at Valley Imports is second to none - other dealers could learn something from them!!!

I have a 2007 VW New Beetle that my 17 year old daughter drives. The aux cord outlet that had become lost behind the dash due to a clip breaking thus my daughter wasn't able to run her Iphone music through it. We went to Valley and Michelle in Service did a tremendous job having one of the techs look at it on the spot and came up with a workable solution in under 45 min for gratis. I had a great experience buying my new Q7 at Valley Imports. Tana made it easy to find the vehicle I really wanted and that best fit my needs. The dealership had a very comfortable atmosphere and they made the whole process very simple. It was nice working with both Tana and Kristen. He researched the cars to get closest model to my "wish list". Then he provided upfront pricing to get methe best deal possible. My wife and I have been extremely impressed with Valley Imports even predating our recent purchase of a new ML550. Your service department always took exquisite care of our 2010 SLK350, and the courtesy extended to us while waiting for the car to be worked on was very much appreciated. Obviously, in your service group, the "Customer satisfaction comes First"!! With regard to our experience purchasing the new ML550, I can tell you that the three main individuals with whom we dealt were great to work with. The entire purchase experience is the best I've had with any dealership over at least 50 years of auto purchases. Dana Martin is undoubtedly the most thorough sales person I've ever met - right up until we drove the vehicle off the showroom floor. She didn't miss anything, not even a fingerprint on the paint, in prepping and reviewing the new vehicle with us. Can't speak for the car dealers but be very wary of the service department. Took my vehicle in for a recall repair (no cost to me). They called to say I needed additional repairs including a new catalytic converter, brake fluid flush (dirty), and engine gasket replacement (oil leak). Estimate was $3,300. Needless to say I took it to another specialist for a second opinion. The catalytic converter tested 100% with no issues. Technician power washed the engine then added UV detectable die to the crank case and let me run it for two days. Came back with no detectable oil leaks anywhere. In addtion, the brake fluid was fine. WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

I test drove a car recently from Valley Imports. I wanted some questions answered in regard to a car. This was last Friday. He told me if it didn't sell over the weekend he would call me this past Monday. He never called me. Salesman's name is Kevin Duenwald. He told he was too busy to find out the information on this car. I felt he was hiding something from me. This is poor customer service. He told me the car was sold this past weekend. I don't believe him. Since the car is still listed on the internet. F.or being dishonest & not calling me when he said he would; & telling me the car was sold when it wasn't; I definitely wouldn't recommend him. .

We were looking for a different vehicle. After researching information online, we decided to explore the "Sign & Drive" program through VW. Everyone we encountered at Valley Imports was professional and seemed focused on helping us identify the right car for our needs and budget. Prior to this, we had purchased a used car from a private party that turned out to be a VERY unreliable choice. We spent a lot of money trying to keep that vehicle operational. I had always percieved a Volkswagen to be too expensive to own/operate. When we discussed the predictable cost of this car vs. the unpredictable cost of something else, it seemed clear that this was a good choice for us. The sales process was straighforward and transparent and we were not pressured to add anything. It was a great customer experience.

I brought my 2007 Audi Quattro for a checkup. I arrived early but Brian Mackner took me in right away. I had a check list which he went through point by point and answered all my questions. After the work was done, Michelle Seaman walked me through the service paperwork, explaining each charge. Then she sent me to Tyler Braaten to order a valet key. He was friendly and helpful even though it was a few minutes to closing time. A week later, I was experiencing issues so I traveled 5 hours on a Saturday to see if I could get it back in for service. Cory Burkhardt immediately got my vehicle in even though I didn't have an appointment. He asked the right questions, and all the issues were addressed. He even showed me pictures of the problem, explained how it was fixed and told me how to prevent it from happening again. My vehicle is working great. I appreciate the good work, professionalism and great customer service.

I have been test driving several cars and have not been totally satisfied with any of them. I had an Audi and wanted a good road car that was economical fuel wise and had good service. I went to Valley Imports Inc. website and found a couple cars that interested me. I sent an e-mail to the dealership on Thanksgiving morning and Erik Swenson texted me back late Thanksgiving night that they had a car in a color that interested me. I texted him early Friday morning and told him I would be heading down to test drive the car. He rushed to get it detailed and ready. He was very friendly when I arrived at the dealership and the car was ready to test. Erik Swenson asked for the finance information to get the financial end started. In less than 1 1/2 hours, I arrived, test drove the car, was given a thorough explanation of how everything worked, signed the paperwork and drove home with a new car. The trade in value for my old car was fair and the new car has far exceeded my expectations. Thanks Erik and Chris who made this such an easy, enjoyable experience. I would strongly recommend this dealership and Erik Swenson to anyone who is considering purchasing a new car.

I quoted 2 cars online, and Eric Swenson contacted me. He asked me if I would like to go ahead giving my information for the best APR for the car I was interested, so I did. I made an appointment to see him, he was ready with the 2 cars I mentioned on the phone and emails. I also went to test drive a used car which was just arrived, I fell in love with it. I went back and forth with car quotes, he always so promptly answers my questions. In 2 days after, I went to have a second look of the car with my husband, requested to test drive 2 cars, one was a new one, and the other one was the used, we both agreed we liked the used one better, it was a better car for a better price. when we arrived, he lined up two cars, already warmed up, ready for my husband to test drive. We chose the car, and Eric was already ready with the whole loan, from the information I gave him over the phone the first time. We brought a wonderful car home, from start to finish in 3 days. The whole buying process was very simple and organized. We also went to the other local dealer, and the sales person played games with us, not answering our questions, but trying to give us more options of cars he is selling, which we could have done it over the internet, they just wasted our time. With Valley Import, especially Eric, we always had a wonderful time, we don't feel we wasted our time, the whole people who are working int his dealer are very friendly and professional. I definitely will come back for next car if we stay in town. You can't bargain for the price, but they have a fair price. Best dealer in town, hands down.

This was our first visit to Valley Imports in Fargo, ND. We were searching for a reliable vehicle for our daughter. Having her away from home, attending NDSU and driving alone the majority of time, we wanted a vehicle that was more efficient during the winter months. We were very impressed with the welcoming atmosphere of the dealership and employees we worked with. They made us and our daughter feel very comfortable. Tana was a complete joy to work with. Her personality is overwhelmingly awesome. We are the proud new owners of a 2014 Volkswagen Passat TDI SLE, purchased from Valley Imports in Fargo, North Dakota. We would like to thank our salesman Aaron Schoenack for his outstanding customer service. Aaron was knowledgeable, courteous and professional. To say the least we were a little apprehensive about the purchase of a new car and even more indecisive. After our initial test drive of a used Audi A8 we needed time to consider our options and conduct a little research. After a day or so, we received a follow up courtesy email and call from Aaron, but at no time did we ever feel pressured or rushed. There were no threats of losing out on the deal or someone else wants the car etc., etc., etc., We went back on Tuesday test drove the car, picked our color, did a little paperwork and scheduled delivery for Wednesday morning. Wednesday when we arrived Aaron had the car ready for delivery and took an hour to show us all of the features and how they worked. The Sales Manager Kristen Pagel, had the paperwork ready and delivered exactly what we discussed the day before, no bait and switch or last minute tactics you find with other dealerships. I purchased the new cla250. The total cost was a little over 41k, I didn't get a loan I paid cash for it...and I paid for it about three weeks prior to me getting it. I was told that Mercedes wasn't releasing the vehicle until October 29th so I couldn't take it home until then. I also asked about getting it in a different color and they said it would take months to get it in another color.... But they made me feel really special by saying you will be the only one driving this car in Fargo for a while because it will take time to get others like it.... While in South Dakota In early October I passed by the Mercedes dealership, they informed me that they had already sold three of the CLA250 cars and they started selling them in September... I wasn't very happy to hear this... Then before I even picked up my car on the 29th Valley Imports had a red one on the showroom floor, I asked Kevin about it and he said he didn't say he couldn't get it, which was a lie...Then the night I picked my car up I found out someone else was having the same car delivered to them in a few days, another lie.... What happened to it taking months to get it.... I asked if I was going to get a gift and Kevin said the gift that my husband won at the event was my free gift.... We are going to buy the S550, but we will be going to South Dakota to get it.... Very very poor service....

Buying a vehicle has always been an extremely stressful experience for my husband. Tana and Kristin made Todd (my husband) feel extremely comfortable with the entire process. Tana was very easy to work with, not at all pushy, and was very knowledgeable about all of the vehicles Todd looked at. We were interested in purchasing an Audi Q5 or Q7 and Valley Imports was the nearest location. I called Erik Swenson to set up a time to test drive a car. The Q5 was a little small so Erik suggested we wait until they were able to get a Q7 in stock. I went back & forth about the color and options and he was so patient with me! The dealership had one on order and Erik described every detail about the car over the phone. It actually arrived a month ahead of schedule. He got most of our information over the phone so when we arrived to pick the car up it only took a short amount of time to finalize the sale. Erik knew every detail about the inside and outside operation of the entire car and was very thorough in teaching. We would highly recommend a salesman with his skill in car sales!

Everyone at Valley Imports was friendly and helpful from the minute I walked in the door. I knew what I was interested in and Joe knew his car facts! He was a joy to work with and made the entire process efficient and fun so I walked out the door with the car I wanted. Konstantine facilitated the process to make sure nothing was over looked and Joe took time at the end to get my blue tooth set up and my daughter's car seat secured, two things I have never had a dealership help me with. I was extremely impressed with Valley Imports as we are moving to Canada and they knew the rules and regulations of taking the car across the border. Overall it was a fabulous car buying experience, and I wasnt looking forward to it at the start of the day!

I brought my VW Tiguan in for service after there was a cut in the sidewall of one of my tires and it had an unfixable leak. I did not have an appointment but Brian helped me out right away. With no tire in stock but one being overnighted I was given a very nice loaner for the night. It was great to be able to get my car fixed and not have to miss work or rearrange my schedule. The customer service that Brian and the whole staff I worked with was exceptional. I will definitely bring my car there for service again in the future.

Let me say I'm impressed, I had friendly sales agents who were genuinely concerned with watching out for my best interest and spent time and effort on my behalf. I went in looking at the passat already fairly informed but Zach pointed out several thing to me and helped me learn about the vehicle. He was very prompt and all around helpful. Unfortunately when we went to close the valley dealership did not use the costco discount so the price offered compared to another dealer was not competitive (over 2k more, not fully due to costco discount). HOWEVER even though they knew that the price was lower and they weren't likely to get my business, they warned me of some things to look for and were absolutely fantastic, they weren't disgruntled or angry and I intend to have their dealership service my vehicle, which is where the real money is for a dealer anyway. Their team put their best foot forward even though I know it personally impacted their team, the dealership should be proud to have such quality individuals. I visited every dealership and this was the best experience of any of the dealerships in Fargo.

Kevin Duenwald was a great salesperson to work with.He was knowledgable, ready to answer our questions promptly. I live 200 miles away from the dealership so I had to start out contact on the internet and I was immediately connected with Eric Swenson. I had done some research on the car I wanted and he knew the inventory very well and suggested the available cars and we quickly decided on the right one. We were able to apply for financing for the Passat I wanted and within about an hour I was approved. I had to wait until the following weekend to go to the dealership to look at the car and test drive it. The dealership was spotless and impressive. All of the staff were very friendly. We were treated very well. None of the dealerships in my hometown try this hard to impress or were this courteous and helpful to us. I recently moved from Fargo, ND to Williston, ND for work and unfortunately was in an accident and had to start the search for a new car again. I was not looking forward to searching for a car out here in Williston. I knew i wanted another Honda Accord and saw one for sale at Valley Imports. I sent them an e-mail and with in 30 minutes I got a phone call. I explained that I wasn't in the Fargo area and Zack was more than willing to help in any way he could. He took the car over to a friends house for me, they looked it over, took a test drive and got back to me right away. They were blown away with his customer service skills and had nothing but good things to say about him and the car. After deciding that the 2005 Honda Accord was the way I wanted to go, he personally delivered the car out to Williston for me. I was completely thrilled with this entire experience! The customer service that I had was out of this world, and working with Zack was effortless. Needless to say I am 100% satisfied with my new car and plan on recommending Valley Imports to anyone who is searching for a new car.

Dealing with Tana and Kristin was the best car buying experience I have ever had! Tana was very concerned that I got what I wanted and was mindful of the price I wanted to spend. This was the first time I have leased a vehicle and Kristin went above and beyond! I can honestly say I had fun buying a new car!!! After the sale Tana took me over to the service department and introduced me to the lady I will be dealing with for oil changes, etc. That lady even gave me her personal cell in case I ever needed it! I recently moved to Fargo and was still driving my old college car and I was due for an upgrade. I didn't even really know what I wanted when I walked into the dealership and the first car that caught my eye I thought huh looks pretty nice. Then I got help very shortly after looking at the car and before I knew it I was test driving it! I told them what I wanted for a monthly payment and they worked with me to get to what I wanted. I've been driving the car for 6 months and couldn't complain one bit. Everything was stress free throughout the whole process. I recommend valley imports!

I was looking for a new car for my wife and visited with Erik Swenson. He was a pleasure to work with and meet all our needs. After getting some initial information and I stopped back in while Erik wasn't around and was taken care of by Sam and Zach who answered all my questions. I am kind of slow at decision making, but when I came back the next day Erik was up to speed on my situation and picked up where they left off.Overall this was the best experience I have had purchasing/leasing a car to date.

Valley Imports was great to work with. I didn't expect to find an F150 at an import store but when I was searching around I found exactly what I was looking for. I made a request online and Kevin responded to me within the hour. He was very knowledgeable about the F150 and even took it for a test drive to give me his opinion on the condition. I have bought my last two Galant's from Kevin and it has been a wonderful experience both times. I was apprehensive to buy the first Mitsubishi because I hadn't purchased an import vehicle before that. The first Galant was such a reliable vehicle that when I was ready for a new car I didn't think twice about what to buy. I just knew I wanted one with a few more features so i upgraded to the SE model. Kevin is always there if I have questions or concerns. I was in the market for a new vehicle that was reliable, easy on gas/fuel and fun to drive. I personally had never owned a new car, but Kevin Duenwald suggested I take the 2011 VW Golf TDI for a spin. What an awesome car! Since I bought it 2 years ago I've taken it on a solo trip to New Mexico and back for under 350$. Four of my buddies and I took it out to western Wyoming for a week long rock climbing festival. Five guys and all of our gear fit comfortably! (the guy in the middle back was a bit cramped but hey) The miles clicked 2000 for the trip as we rolled into the driveway in Fargo. We each paid...wait for it...30 bucks. 30!! I love my car! The services have been promptly taken care of, any issues that I've had (tire nails ect...) have been fixed with almost zero hassle. The courtesy drivers are friendly as any I've ever dealt with. Even though I didn't buy my car from him, Eric always says hi when I'm in the shop. Kevin and Eric also remember my name and say hi even if I see them outside of the dealer! Crazy good stuff. All in all Valley Imports has been very good to me and I will likely be a customer there for a very long time.

We were in the market looking for a hardtop convertible. We'd visited other dealerships, seeing models we liked. Truly, our decision to purchase from Valley Imports was based strictly on the professionalism that Kevin Duenwald demonstrated in his approach with us (wife and I). Kevin went over and beyond in his explaining features, the dealerships reputation (we have friends that told us of the dealerships fine service) and never once with a feeling by us that he was "pushing" us in one direction or another. Kevin in our opinion stands out among the very best in sales professionalism. Added to the great purchase experience we had, I need to add that the followup Kevin has done since has been exceptional, as an example emails in keeping in contact, answers to even such little questions on how to connect a phone to Black Berry mode, all with so much patience. Continuing with service, the service department is exceptional! Our vehicle being new has had scheduled maintenance, always on time, without waiting and always with explanations of the service that was performed on it. I would recommend Kevin Duenwald first and foremost for his truly professional approach in sales and of course the excellent staff in service. As a GMC owner, my heart was set on purchasing a new Yukon Denali. Before I made the trip to the other dealership, we read positive reviews online about Mercedes and Audi that blew GMC out of the water. We stopped at Valley Imports and had the pleasure to work with Kevin Duenwald to learn about these specific SUVs. Kevin's passion for qualify craftsmanship and features/functions, coupled with no-pressure attitude, opened my eyes to new opportunities. I am pleased to say I purchased a 2013 Audi Q7 and could not be happier! I purchased a 2013 Golf R from Valley Imports. I first contacted them through email and Mr. Kevin Duenwald responded right away. I have received nothing but first class service ever since. He patiently answered all my questions and was able to provide me the EXACT configured vehicle I wanted. I live 4 hours from Valley Imports and Mr. Duenwald put all my concerns to rest. I recently had some warranty work done and it was hassle free. The techs seemed professional and the facility appeared modern and clean. Mr. Duenwald was engaged during the whole process and ensured I was well taken care of. He isn't just a salesman. When it comes to customer service, he owns it. When we were considering trading to a new Mercedes, Kevin Duenwald went out of his way provide us some preliminary cost estimates for a new vehicle and for the value of our older Mercedes for a bottom line estimate. He was able to take advantage of Mercedes discounts at the time and discounts offered by my USAA membership as prior military servicemen. All this was in a no pressure/relaxed and sincere atmosphere. We liked Kevin's sincere approach and what we saw in the vehicle with the options we wanted along with the price. Since we live in northern Minnesota about equal distance to other Mercedes dealers in Minneapolis, we chose to do business with Kevin at Valley Imports without question because of the way we were treated, a sincere no pressure atmosphere and the buying ease Kevin presented. We also liked the Mercedes service after the sale which provided the same quality approch we experienced in buying the car. We will be back again when we need to trade again and know that we can rely on Kevin and Valley to provide us with same high quality approach as before.

My experience with Kevin Duenwald is THEE absolute best.I have never before had such a great experience in buying a car as I did with Kevin.I purchased our first VW beetle in 2007 which was Red. I was impressed as Kevin trailered it to Bismarck and I gave it to my wife for Christmas.He texts,emails or returns calls in a timely manner with a response to any questions we have.The guy is SUPERB.Then in 2011 the car was rearended on I94 west of Bismarck.My wife wanted another 2007 beetle and Kevin found four of them on the internet in the US but I was apprehensive about internet purchases.He gave me a price on a 2012 and ordered it.Wife was not fond of the new body style.Kevin told us if she didnt like it,we didnt have to take it. We had a VW Jetta rental while waiting for the new beetle. When the beetle arrived Kevin drove it to Bismarck and drove the Jetta back.Shortly after that I decided to get a new Jetta TDI diesel as I liked the Jetta style and handling.He ordered the Jetta for me in Nov of 2012 and found one in a timely manner from another dealer.I rode to Fargo with a friend and met Kevin and drove my Jetta back.Mpg was 39.7 on the very first road trip.On 2-22-2013 I made a trip to Beach ND with the Jetta and it average 41 mpg. I really like it more this winter as Kevin recommended someone in Fargo to install a remote car starter.It works great. I am retired and have a retired friend that likes my Jetta.Indicated the other day if he is in the market for a new car,he will consider a Jetta as likes the ride and the way the car handles. Had some service work done the the 2012 beetle.Kevin makes sure the vehicle leaves in a manner that customer is happy with.Took my Jetta in for service Nov 2012 and he made sure it was done to his satisfaction before I picked it up. This guy is always smiling and has such a positive attitude.Definltely has what it takes for customer service.I think of him almost every time I get in my Jetta.Its like the car is smiling too. After skeptically verifying that they really did have a best deal at the time I contacted Kevin Duenwald. Kevin was extremely helpful took care of all paperwork for both sale and trade-in and provided the best price for trade-in and sale. The final touch was the fact that Kevin took his time to meet me half way between Minneapolis and Fargo. That was an extremely nice gesture. I have dealt with a lot of dealers over the years, but not a single one qualifies for Above and beyond valuation with an exception of Kevin Duenwald.

I was already a happy owner of a 2011 E350 Cabriolet purchased as a seasonal vehicle, it was precisely a service visit for that car, when I spotted a 2012 A4 on the showroom floor that got my attention. In comes Kevin, patient and informative. Exactly what I needed before I made a second, high end purchase. After returning home that evening, the A4 remained in my mind when I called Kevin and asked to schedule time for a second look.Returning the following day, Kevin and I drove the car off the floor, onto the highway and that was it. Not certain if I was buying the car or the salesman as both played an equal role in helping me make the decision.Secondly, my old car which I had already researched its' value to my surprise was matched at the dealer, sold on the spot and drove away with my beautiful A4 making the entire transaction virtually seamless.I intend to return next year for a repeat and I'm hopeful Kevin is there to help me navigate my next purchase.I should also point out Kevin publishes a periodic look at his life and career which prevents me from ever forgetting I have a new friend.Lastly, I've already been approached by at least one co-worker who was shopping at Valley Imports and coincidentally working with Kevin. I thought buying my first car would be a hard process, not only with deciding what I wanted to buy, but where and with whom I bought. Lucky for me, I am a girl who knows exactly what she wants. Even luckier for me that when I emailed Kevin Duenwald about an Audi Q5, he had exactly what I wanted. Kevin helped me every step of the way throughout the whole buying process, he made it so easy for me that I had literally boughten a new car in a weeks time from a company over 3 hrs away. Who knew? When our old van died and we needed a new, used, one fast, I looked around for a use van online. I found several and contacted the sellers and asked lots of questions. We found on on cars.com and it seemed perfecct. After talking to Kevin online and over the phone we were confident this was the van for us. Kevin Duenwald at valley Imports was the best by far, and he is a breath of fresh air. He took the van for a test drive to let us know up to date information on the van. He also came to our house with the van so we could see it for ourselves. When we were ready to purchase it he drove us, in the van, to Fargo so we could test drive it in person. Everything was perfect. Valley Imports guarantees their vehicles so we had confidence when buying. By the way, the van was priced at a great reasonable price, so no stress and pressure to get the best price as the van already was at the best price! After we purchased the van Kevin made sure the gas tank was full before sending us on our way. I will keep Valley Imports and Kevin Duenwald names in the back of my head and many years down the road when we are looking again for a vehicle will visit them again.

Not like the typical salesman; Kevin cares; his #1 concern is that the customer is happy and taken care of. We purchased a new Beetle and were impressed from the start with his knowledge of the VW line. He even located another identical model after the one we originally enquired was sold. I'm a little older now,but during my lifetime I have purchased many, many cars, pickup's trucks over the years of my life and I am still young enough to keep doing it. I must say almost all of my sales people were pretty darned good except a couple that comes to mind. But Kevin is by far the very best w/o exception and he is still young.and his future is still way in front of him. I am admire Kevin's total people person skills,and kindness'es, his product knowledge and his "let's get after it attitude w/o being pushy" I have come to have such confidence in him, that I tell him, this is want I want in this price range, etc. and just leave everything else up to him. I also told him, keep treating me like this and I won't even check with another dealer or call another sales person. Around Christmas time 2011 my wife and I came in because I wanted to check out a CC, I test drove the one on the lot with Kevin and everything went great. We went inside and talked some numbers and came back a few days later and ordered a brand new one with ALL the options I wanted. Kevin did a fantastic job on finding the exact car I wanted and gave me a great trade-in value on my car. Then when we came in to sign the paperwork for my car we also ended up getting a certified 2011 Tiguan for my wife! We are both so happy with our cars and the level of service we have received and continue to receive. Keep it up!

After meeting with Tana Martin and Kristen Pagel at Valley Imports, we instantly felt like we were sitting down with friends; friends that were going to guide us down the right road in our search. Together we decided the Mitsubishi Outlander Sport was the best car for our needs, but there wasn't one on the lot with all the features we were looking for or at the price we were willing to pay. I almost felt bad because our budget and "wish list" was very specific and seemed almost impossible to fulfill: Base Model, Black Exterior, Black Interior, Power Windows, Cruise Control, Air Conditioning, and the not so common to find Manual Transmission. Tana and Kristen went the extra mile(s) to find the exact car we wanted within our budget at a different dealership and had it delivered within a couple days. Their outstanding customer service was very appreciated, so appreciated that we have purchased 2 other cars (pre-owned) from them as well. Considering how easy and enjoyable the buying experience is with Tana and Kristen, we will absolutely be buying from them again when the time comes.

I worked with Aaron Schoenack at Valley Imports in Fargo. I thought he did a great job and was very helpful in the car buying process. I purchased a Volkswagen GTI and love everything about the car. I did a lot of research on the car before buying this particular car. Aaron knew all the details of the vehicle. Aaron was very patient with me and i never felt like i was being rushed into anything. I think the key in buying a car is doing adequate research on the car, feeling comfortable at the dealership, and knowing you bought the right car. What an outstanding customer service experience! Gordy Brustad made me feel very welcome and comfortable from beginning to end. The trade-in process was a breeze. I really appreciated his 'check in' phone call a few weeks after the sale was complete. We were very specific in what we were looking for in a used car. Valley Imports had what we wanted but we didn't want to make a 4 hour drive to car shop. Kevin Duenwald partnered with us from the get go to assure us this was a solid vehicle. He was in constant contact but gave us the space we needed to proceed at our own pace in the process. Erik was very fast in contacting me after I showed initial interested in the vehicle. An hour or less after I submitted my request online I received a phone call from him asking when I could come test drive the vehicle. The whole customer service experience was fantastic. Kevin is a knowledgeable and kind sales rep. He answered all of our questions and left us feeling we could ask anything within reason. He knows his vehicles and can explain the ins and outs of them, whether they are new or used vehicles. We purchased a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT from Valley Imports after finding it on cars.com. We could not easily go the 150 miles to Fargo to get it as our old van was incapacitated (long story). Kevin took the time to drive the van to pick us up, bring us to Fargo, do the paperwork and payment, and send us back home with our van. This was what I would call a 'going-out-of-your-way' act of service. I know he does this for other customers, too. People should ask for Kevin when dealing with Valley Imports!

Quality work was done in a timely manner when promised on my recently scheduled car maintenance inspection, oil change and Auto Butler. I emailed the Internet Sales Manager Kevin Duenwald about setting up the appointment and he immediately took care of the appointment and was able to get an appointment scheduled in a very timely manner in the same week. The work performed was done with excellent quality and in the time frame promised in a very friendly and professional manner. My experience with Valley Imports has been perfect from the moment I spotted my Tiguan online. I was willing to travel to Minneapolis to purchase a VW. But after many hours online, Valley Imports had the best deal within 500 miles. I'm a fan of their best price, no hassle format. I think it frees the sales team to be all about service. And they are. I started thinking about VWs last year and Aaron spent time giving me a master class on everything about VWs. This year, when I contacted Erik to inquire about car I was interested, he continued this education with specific knowledge about my Tiguan. And then from meeting Erik in person, to the test drive, to the overnight of pondering, through the quick and easy financing (sorry finance guy - your name escapes me, but I did want to mention you also made this a perfect experience), to the driving off the lot, the whole process was exactly how I would have liked it to be. I think that is the thing, Erik helps you buy a car the way you want to buy a car. I also want to mention Zack and Mr. Mackner in service. After a couple weeks I discovered my car seat had a slight issue. These guys made it right as soon as I brought the car in. So the service after the sale is also really phenomenal. So I just scanned this before submitting it and sounds pretty glowing. But I am a real customer, happily driving around Detroit Lakes. The experience just really was that good.

When I purchased my new vehicle, Kevin delivered the car 75 miles right to my home and picked up my trade-in. He did this the same day I called and finalized the terms of the purchase. I was originally interested in Valley Imports because it was the only place around I could get the car I wanted. I did an online search for a vehicle and a day later I received an email from Kevin Duenwald a day later. I was not expecting to really get much accomplished at that time but Kevin was really friendly and helpful. One of the biggest things I look for in a car salesman is a "car guy" and not just a salesman. Kevin is that and way more. Every step along the way Kevin was checking in and making sure I was being taken care of. Even after the delivery I still talk to Kevin once or twice a month and he is always going the extra mile to make me feel wanted. He at no point in the process was overbearing or pushy. I would only work with Kevin when going to Valley Imports. He is the best sales guy I have known and I worked at 3 dealers in the Twin Cities, none of them will do what Kevin does!

I'd spotted a few cars that interested me at Valley Imports, then asked a couple people I knew to recommend a salesperson there. They both suggested Kevin Duenwald. We set a time to test drive the cars, and as I pulled up, they were both in front, running and warm! Nice. I'm a haggler, they are not, so I had to wait for a price reduction. Kevin Duenwald has been my salesman on two cars. My wifes VW Tiguan and my VW Golf. The sale was excellent and his customerservice is above average. I'll give an example:When we bought my wifes 2011 VW Tiguan we had a sensor go out. We called VW Roadside and they came and picked up the car in Minot, ND and delivered it to the dealership in Fargo, ND. The vehicle was fixed and we were all set to go to Fargo to pick it up. Kevin said no way and delivered the vehicle back to Minot for us that night. Now thats great customer service.

I purchased a low mileage Mercedes E350 and had a very good experience. They were honest and upfront on the pricing with no hard sell and no pressure. They showed me pricing on similar models at other dealers, etc. and made me feel comfortable with the price I paid. The service department has been great too. It's great to have your vehicle serviced and have it returned to you freshly washed with the seat adjustments, radio, etc. untouched.

Where should I start? The personnel of Valley Imports was nothing but rude and treated us very poorly. My wife and me where talked in a very condesending matter. Is that how you treat paying customers? I think not! I went there to have my audi inspected that has never had any serious issues until Valley Imports 'serviced' it. After a routine inspection that cost me twice as much as other Porsche/Audi dealers in Minneapolis and other places would charge, my vehicle started acting oddly and having one minor issue after another which required me to come back to waste more money on this terrible dealership. Still believing Valley Imports to be competent, I went back over and over again spending thousands in repair cost on issues that I now believe might have been deliberately caused by Valley Imports. The last time I went there they 'accidentely' popped a tire and then tried to get me to buy a whole new set of tires. After almost having to argue with the personnel they reluctantly agreed to replace the tire they destroyed at no charge. The Audi I am referring to was my first car and i saved up for a while to be able to afford it and entrusted it to Valley Imports to take care of it and service it properly and in return they ruined it. After talking to my coworkers I found out that another person had a similar experience of having a perfectly fine vehicle 'serviced' only to have it returned with never ending issues that required more 'servicing'. If you care about your vehicle and friendly customer service you should avoid Valley Imports at all costs!! I wish I never had stepped into this dealership since they are either purposely ruining vehicles to trick people into coming back for more repairs or they are so incompetent that their attempt at repairing a vehicle results in more damage. Stay away!!

To put it in a nut shell - Gordy and all the staff at Valley Import are very personable and know us when we walk in the door from one purchase or service to another. When they call, they are always interested in what is going in our lives as much as to insure that all of our answers about the vehicles are being answered. The service team is on top of their game in notifications of all of our services and if we have any problems (so few) they take the time and help us. Thus, we consider the Valley Import staff as friends while other dealerships I have use in the past have workers.

This is the second vehicle we purchased from Valley Imports, our first vehicle was a brand new 2011 Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagen, our current purchase was a used Mazda CX-9. Both vehicles were found online using the Valley Imports website and both times Erik Swenson was our salesman. Erik was a pleasure to deal with, he is very knowledgable about the vehicles he sells and he goes the extra mile to ensure his customers are satisfied. We live in Northwest Minnesota about 160 miles from Fargo, with our first vehicle purchase Erik arranged to meet us in Grand Forks so we wouldn't have to make the trip all the way to Fargo. Erik had all the paperwork with him and completed, all I had to do was take the car for a test drive and sign a few documents. From start to finish it took about thirty minutes, that's including the test drive! With our second purchase we needed to go to Valley Imports because we were trading in an older vehicle and to get us the best trade in value it had to be evaluated at the dealership. My work schedule wouldn't allow me to make it to Fargo before the dealership closed so Erik arranged for himself and Dave Hawkinson the business manager to stay late until I was able to get there, inspect the the vehicle, take it for a test drive and complete the paperwork. I received more money for my trade in than I was offered from dealerships in Grand Forks and I paid over five thousand dollars less than KBB value on the vehicle I purchased!! Thank you Erik for making our vehicle purchases so effortless and enjoyable!

Erik Swenson was extremely focused on our car buying experience and making it great. We used to visit lots when they were closed to avoid the salespeople, at Valley Imports we found that we don't have to. Erik was informative, knowledgable, and professional without being pushy.We love the Tiguan, quite a fun drive!

Erik and I met via the internet after I filled in a Mercedes info form. After meeting with Erik in person my wife and I knew we were not dealing with the "typical" car sales type. He was very straight forward and we immediately felt confidence in his handling our transaction. We wanted a ML 350 with certain equipment. He found the car we wanted and delivered it at an easily negotiated price.I will definitely call Erik the next time I want to buy a car and definitely recommend him ro our friends.

My husband and I just purchased a new Touareg from Erik Swenson at Valley Imports. It was a Pleasure working with Erik! His warm smile and easy laugh put me at ease and I enjoyed the experience. All the computer gadgetry and smart key business in a car is new to me, but Erik was a patient teacher. I am completely comfortable calling him or stopping by for a refresher course or further assistance. It was delightful having Erik help us and I look forward to staying in touch with him. I love my new Touareg and am becoming quickly comfortable with the features!

It was my first visit to Valley Imports. My son turned 16 and he is driving my car to school. I needed a car, and as someone who lived in Europe for many years, I thought about having a German car. I was welcomed by a cheering gentleman who immediately put me at ease; that was Erik Swenson. I showed an interest in a Jetta. He immediately informed me about the qualities of the car and gave me a tour to see the available cars. He talked to me about the various options between buying a used Jetta, a new Jetta or a different car that Valley sells. Erik was very friendly, seems to know about cars, and asked all my questions. I felt like I was dealing with a friend I know for many years. I immediately trusted him and decided to make the deal. What amazes me really is that after a few days of my visit and when the car I asked for was available, I had the pleasant surprise to get my car delivered by Erik to me at Grand Forks where I live.I didn't have to drive to Fargo and paperwork was promptly prepared by Erik in advance. I have never dealt with someone as professional, friendly, knowledgeable as Erik. I am sure if you meet Erik and deal with him you will find him a pleasant to deal with person. I will highly recommend his services to my friends. Erik, you are simply a great dealer and I was happy that I made business with YOU.

Erik was great to work with. I was looking to purchase a new car and was on a limited time schedule. He went above and beyond to help me on his day off because it was more convenient for me. Now that is great customer service. I love my new car!

Everyone at Valley Imports is great! My last two new cars came from Valley 2007 Volkswagen GTI MkV and 2011 Audi S4 and I had the joy of working with Erik Swenson both times. Erik is a great person to work with low pressure, helpful, gets what you want (or does everything in his power to do so), and he keeps you in the loop the whole time. Hes a nice guy, too. That always helps! The service department at Valley is top notch, too. I put a lot of miles on my car (had 156K miles on the 2007 GTI when I traded it in towards the 2011 Audi S4) so I see the folks in the service department more than most other drivers. Zach and Michelle are always helpful and go out of their way to make your service experience as perfect as possible. There are a lot of car dealerships out there, but there are very few places that offer world-class service from start to finish. Valley Imports is clearly one of these places. Erik, Zach, Michelle, and everyone else at Valley Imports strive to make yours a trouble-free experience I would absolutely recommend friends, family, or anyone else look to Valley Imports for their next vehicle purchase or service.

Erik Swenson was exceptional throughout my car buying experience at Valley Imports.Erik took the fear out of buying over the internet. He was very thorough and tireless in researching my questions on a wide variety of cars. He also, along with Dave Hawkinson, talked me though several financing options and then worked directly with my insurance company to make the test drives, purchase, and drive away a very easy and pleasurable event. I highly recommend you pay them a visit on line or better yet in person.

Both Erik Swenson and Dave Hawkinson were involved with my purchase of a 2011 Jetta TDI. I first made contact with Erik in a phone conversation. From that point on he was very helpful in the trade in and purchase process. He came in on his day off to complete the sale. Dave was also very helpful. He made contact with the lending company that is doing the financing of my purchase and made sure everything necessary was done to complete my purchase.Both men were very friendly and personable.

Never take any car, especially a VW diesel, to this dealership for service. I took my 98 Beetle in for routine maintenance(timing belt replacement) at 60k miles. When I woke up the next morning and started the car I noticed an oil drip. It was coming from the oil cooler. I thought that they had just missed it, but now wonder. About 2k miles later a noise came from the engine compartment and immediately my speedo/odometer stopped working. Also, my engine would lurch whenever I shifted up or down. I park in my driveway on a slight incline and pop my hood. My engine is rocking violently. I park it until I can find out what's wrong. While researching internet/Bentley service manual I find that the motor mounts can be damaged during a timing belt replacement if not aligned perfectly. I also find that the motor mount bolts MUST be replaced because they are stretch bolts and are designed to only be used once. I look on my reciept and find that they didn't replace them. If they didn't know to replace the bolts, I doubt they new to align the passenger side mount to exactly 10mm, or not to stress the drivers side mount AT ALL when the passenger side one is removed. I call up the service manager and expain. He says that they will look at it being there is a 12k mile/12 month warranty for all certified repairs. Ayways, I bring the car in. Next week I get a call asking what exactly it is that's wrong with my car. Apparently everyone there had all failed to remember or even write down what my complaint was. A few hours later I get a call saying my car is ready to go. I ask if they got the new bolts in and the speedo working. They say they never knew about the speedo and they didn't put new bolts in because they don't do that. They also say that the diesel motor mounts are supposed to have extra slop in them because they vibrate so much. I hang up with them and call VW of America. They get my info and tell me that they can't really make them put the bolts in, but will call them and tell them that they were supposed to. Valley Imports agrees that they will replace my bolts. So finally over a week later they get my car done and call me to pick it up. Now for the final insults. I go to pick up my car and they send a guy out to drive it around. I run out after him to tell him not to bother because I have to go buy tabs for it anyways and won't be taking it right away. Being my car is a diesel I also don't want them to start it to shut it off right away. (This is hard on a diesel engine for those of you who do not know). He won't give me my keys and insists that he drive it the 20 feet over in front of the building. He gets in and shuts the door while I'm still talking and starts cranking the engine over without waiting for the glow plug light to go out(SUPER bad thing for a diesel engine). I yank the door open and explain to him to stop and wait for the glow plugs. It finally starts and he then drives it up front, shuts it off, and brings the keys in to the service area again. When I finally drive away, the speedo still didn't work, and my engine still rocked. I don't know how they could let me leave the lot with my car not registering the milage, being there is warranty on the repair. I had to pay $800, drive my car over 100 miles to get there the 1st time, tow it the 2nd, and it still isn't fixed! I will now do it myself or bring it to the Minneapolis/St. Paul dealers.
