Exceptional customer service, everyone is very friendly and willing to help. Service guys are experienced and knowledgeable. Mechanics pay high attention to detail, work fast and do tremendously great work. Prices vary depending what you have done. Paying less isn't always better. I've been a Subaru client for nearly 8 years. I highly recommend this particular location!

This is the second time I have bought a car from Van Subaru. First time around I was on a very tight college budget, every person I worked with was understanding and easy to work with. Second time around I got to splurge quite a bit and realized they treat everyone no matter their budget the exact same. With car inventory low at every dealer in town I was shocked they had exactly what I wanted in stock on the lot (it was the last 1 though for quite some time). Johnny was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle and was eager to show off every feature and answer my endless questions about the car. Financing was super easy and painless as well. Honestly today I was planning on buying a completely different make and model of car but after 15 min at Van I was reminded why I chose Subaru a few years ago for my first big girl car.

I just got my second Subaru for Van and I enjoyed the process. It was all possible thank to Marvin Powers. Marvin was great in explaining about the process and the futures of the car, patient while we negotiated , and entertaining with his life story while we were waiting for the paper work. Again thank you Marvin and Van Subaru for eveything

Good service! Always wash the car after service. Not my favorite Subaru Dealer though. We prefer the Subaru Dealer in Lee's Summit.

Live in Florida and arranged to get the car in KC. Very straight shooters. No surprises. Eddie was helpful. Took me to the bank to get the check. Car is perfect and just as advertised. I got a good deal. 10/10 would recommend, and that means alot coming from me.

I went in with the full intention of purchasing a specific car they had on their lot. I drove in with my trade and was offered almost $2000 less than both KBB and Edmunds fair trade value. They would not move on the price of the car because they said they only had $700 margin in it, yet a few days after I went in they had marked it down $1200 on their website. I also told them my credit and got an estimated rate of 9.99%. My credit union had already pre-approved me for 3.49%! I wanted to give them a shot at the financing as a negotiation tool to get them to move on the price of the car or the trade, but they were so focused on trying to make a killing on me that I walked out without buying the car I had walked in planning to buy. I've bought a lot of cars in my life and this was the worst car buying experience I've ever had. Do yourself a favor and avoid this dealership at all costs.

This was a very good experience until we pulled off the lot. The used vehicle had not been serviced. In my opinion, it took too much back and forth to get them to make that right (to their credit they did in the end). Someone spilled coffee on the passenger seat when they were detailing it for our departure. We missed this as it was dark when we left. They did not try to make that right..........We now have seat covers.

This was a very good experience until we pulled off the lot. We found out they had spilled coffee on the seat after our test drive. We didn't see it until later because it was dark when we left. They did not make this right. We found out service had not been done on the vehicle. Only after getting a bit angry did they make that right. Personally, I would recommend going to a different dealer.

My buying experience with Van Subaru in Kansas City was beyond my expectations. Ariel Frink, my salesperson, was friendly, knowledgeable of her product, patient with my unusual circumstances, and willing to reach out to other dealers to find the exact vehicle I wanted. Sales Manager Ben Johnson helped me understand the advantage of Subaru technology. Beyond that, once the sale was completed I discovered a misunderstanding that left me a feeling disappointed. Ben and Van Subaru stepped up and rectified the issue to my complete satisfaction. I have nothing but great things to say for Van Subaru. If I still lived in Kansas City, they would be my lifelong car dealer.

Friendly and efficient staff, very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about their brand. Ted Leeper was an absolute pleasure to work with and I couldn't be happier with my Outback! I was pleasantly surprised that Ted has continued to keep in touch even after the sale, this kind of customer service experience is rare! I would highly recommend this dealership!

Had an absolutely fantastic experience at Van Subaru when looking for a second vehicle. The sales person, Gilbert, was the most honest and down to earth person I've met in my many years of car shopping. We owe our experience entirely to his fantastic customer service, and we will be buying exclusively from him in the future.

My beloved 2007 Subaru was totaled in a crash when an uninsured driver ran a red light. Shopping for a new one while still negotiating with my automobile insurance could have been a really frustrating process, however, Kim Kloth from Van Subaru customer service guaranteed that Van would handle my 2007 Outback like a functioning trade-in if I thought whatever my insurance offered wasn't sufficient. This hassle-free approach convinced me to purchase my new Outback from Van Subaru!

I've owned over 30 vehicles and lost out on some good deals, but never when I had a check in my hand and on my way to a scheduled appointment to buy a car, like I did last night. Had I known it would have been sold out from under me (or as I was told after the fact, someone had put a deposit on the vehicle over a week ago), I wouldn't have spent the time getting the financing done ahead of time, printing a blank check, detailing my trade-in (2013 Crosstrek), and most importantly, wouldn't have gotten my hopes up on driving home a new car that night. There were multiple opportunities for the woman who scheduled my appointment to tell me the car already had a deposit, while I spoke with her or in our texts on Wednesday. Same for the salesman who I spoke with Thursday morning confirming our appointment. Same for the second salesman listed when I filled out an online form through USAA's car buying service Thursday morning, in which I specifically mentioned my upcoming appointment that evening. It wasn't until I was pulling out of my parking lot to drive 90 minutes to Kansas City to pick up the car that I was told it was already sold, but that "they have several other Subarus to choose from." I don't want several other Subarus to choose from, I wanted the 2014 Forester Limited that I was ready to drive home in that night. I felt like a bait and switch was being played on me - your dealership knew the car was "sold", but still wanted me to come up there so you could try to get me to buy another. I've bought, sold and traded enough cars in my life to know this game.It took me 5 phone calls to speak with an actual person Thursday evening to express my extreme displeasure in this situation. Even then, the Sales Manager I spoke with, said he would see what he could do and would be in touch. That was 5:00 pm last night, it is now 11:00 am Friday and I still have not heard a word. And to add insult to injury, the vehicle is STILL posted on your website for sale, when apparently, it really is not for sale. He did apologize and I appreciate that, but I still don't understand how I can have so many people correspond with me and not a single one knew the car was basically not for sale. I was told that a couple put a deposit on the vehicle last Friday, July 8th and were coming in from Alaska to pick it up. True or not, any time I have put a deposit on a vehicle, the contract was immediately signed and the car taken off the website to prevent this exact situation from happening. At this point, I don't see any resolution to this situation. My local Subaru dealership, Briggs Subaru, in Lawrence, is outstanding and where I take my current 2013 Crosstrek and 2011 Outback for service. Unfortunately, they don't have the volume in and out of a bigger dealership like Van, but the relationship and trust I have with them already will be worth any savings in premium I can get at a bigger dealership like Van.If your website had a way to contact your GM, or other Management staff, I would have done that, rather than in a public forum. I cannot find any contact information on your website other than a form or 'About Us' on several of your Service staff.

Recently we were on a trip traveling from Colorado to Illinois to visit my parents. On the way, my Subaru WRX had an issue as when we tried to get gas at a station while we were in Kansas City which could've stranded us for the night. We immediately looked up the nearest Subaru dealer and found Van Subaru. We called to see if they could get us in due to the emergency we were having and luckily James informed me that they could have someone take a look into my issue if I could get there as soon as possible. We rushed over with the last bit of gas we had left in our car to barely make it to the dealer. From the time that we arrived until the time we left, we were met with the most friendly and helpful staff we've ever encountered. Upon arriving, Lisa and James greeted us and made sure were taken care of. Being a pet friendly place, we were able to bring our dog in to get out of the heat and inside to get some water and treats. Thanks Lisa and James! :D Kenny, the technician, took our car and got started in no time. Once he was done he came out and explained to us what his thoughts were on the situation. (We were not able to fill up our car with gas due to some pressure that had built up in the tank coming down from Colorado) He was really great and helpful. We even had a moment to talk about WRX's and some tuning tips. Thanks Kenny! :) Ted, one of the salesman, took the time to hang out with us while we waited and showed us around, even though he knew we wouldn't be buying since we were traveling. We really appreciated him showing us around and explaining a lot of the features of the Forrester XT's. I think my fiance has become a fan! Thanks Ted! Overall, it was one of the best customer experiences we've ever had! Thanks again to all the folks that helped us out in the dire situation! I would highly recommend checking this place out, you won't find better customer service. Cheers!

I have never encountered a salesman like Guy Merola. He is not your typical car salesman. Buying a car has always been a stressful event, but Guy's true love of people and knowledge of his product made this a pleasant experience. I didn't feel like he was just trying to sell us a car. He was very attuned to our wants and needs. I will recommend this dealership and Guy Merola to everyone I know.

I live in Illinois, near St Louis. I was shopping for a Subaru Outback and checked out the dealerships near me. My son had just purchased an Outback from Van Subaru in Kansas City and got a really good deal so he suggested we check them out. I am so glad we did. We ended up purchasing a 2016 Outback from Ted Leeper at Van. Ted was friendly, informative and professional. Ted and his dealership delivered on every promise they made. Their deal significantly beat all of the other dealerships. Our 250 mile drive was well worth it. I have told all of my friends that they should do as I did. They should check out Van, Ted and the KC BBQ.

Live in Illinois next to St Louis. Checked the Subaru dealers near me for the price of a 2016 Outback, extended warranty and the maintenance package. Van Subaru beat one dealership by $2341 and another by $880. Because the price was significantly lower, we purchased from Van. We had a hassle-free, no pressure experience. I would highly recommend checking them out, even if it means a 5 hour drive. Our salesperson was Ted Leeper. He is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and professional. My recent visit to Van Subaru was the best experience I have ever had at a dealer. Everyone was courteous, informative, helpful and knowledgeable. The waiting area was comfortable with amenities I have never enjoyed at a dealer other than Van Subaru. If my car has to need repair or service, this is the place I want to take it. The charges were roughly the same as the local car shop that does not specialize in Subaru. I am extremely satisfied. Randy D.

I live in SC and was passing through on vacation and needed an oil change. I called and talked to Lisa who set up an appointment for the next day. When I arrived I was promptly greeted and the vehicle was serviced. Not only was the oil changed, they also checked the cabin and engine air filters and changed one that needed it. I had driven several thousand miles and the car was very bug-splattered. It was returned to me washed and in like-new condition. All very promptly. What a great place to have service!

Unfortunately my timing belt in my Forester 2004 went. It could have been catastrophic. But fortunately the vehicle was in the garage when it went and was not driven. Called Lisa and explained the situation. She cleared space for her team to look at it that day! Called tow truck and it was towed to Van Subaru. At first glance we thought it was a total loss. I left it over night for her team to be able to look more carefully at it in the morning. She spoke with her manager and arranged for a dealership load vehicle for me to use to drive home and back the following day. After the service team inspected it further it was NOT a loss and they were able to replace belt AND other things with minimal cost comparative a new engine! I have to say through it all, Lisa was simply outstanding! It is 100% because of her, Van Subaru will be getting ALL of my business! Without fail, they have earned my full trust and loyalty! Thank you Lisa and Team!!! You guys are the best!

I was extremely unsatisfied with the advice I got from the Servicing office. First I'll start with the good and why this isn't a 1 star rating. The appointment process was very straightforward. Preston was very friendly, nice, and patient. He had a good demeanor overall and I left with a good impression of his customer service skills and the professionalism of the service center. Now for why I'm not happy. I expect a certain level of upselling when I go to a dealer anyway, but I had a Subaru Impreza '10, 90k miles, with a check engine indicator light and the anti-lock brake light on. I wanted them to check it out and make sure it was okay, and to turn off the light. the code came back as 0420. Preston tells me that based on this, I have to get an entirely new catalytic converter, at about $2-2,500. I had him explain the sensors that he said would also need to be replaced because they had been "dirtied" somehow by the bad emissions given off, that the code applied to both sensors, and he was 100% positive that was the only solution to my issue. I asked if they had run an emissions test to make sure it wasn't just a bad sensor since 90k on a Subaru is really low for a catalytic converter to fail, and he never answered affirmatively, but rather that he trusted his guys and I needed the entire thing replaced. I did not take him up on the repair but told him to turn off the light and I would think about it. Based on my knowledge, Google, and gearhead friends, I was told that the 0420 code alone does not mean a replacement is required, that it can be caused by just a bad tank of gas, and that it is more likely a sensor will fail at 90k than my catalytic converter. After my light was turned off at Van Subaru, I have yet to have the lights come back on again- so it's likely just a bad tank of gas from a couple weeks beforehand. If they had tested my emissions, they would have easily caught that and advised me. In the end, I'm glad that I didn't get ripped off with thousands of dollars of needless repairs. While the staff was nice enough, it does not make me confident in the slightest that I won't be taken for a fool again. This is really disappointing for Subaru, the other ones I have been to have had staff that are much more knowledgeable and thorough.

The Sales team is accommodating, informative and friendly and worked with me for a couple weeks to give me a great deal on my 2010 Forester Limited. I've brought it in to be serviced one time since I purchased the vehicle and the Service staff could not have been more helpful - it turns out that the issue I was having with my car came from my insurance tracking device and they didn't even charge me for their time! Super experience so far and as a first-time buyer I am definitely glad I chose Van Subaru.

I can't thank Van Subaru enough for making the car buying experience for me and my family such positive one! Our specific needs for SUV were carefully heard and analyzed. No one tried to force us to purchase the higher end SUV model or the more expensive warranties or any such thing. Eddie Jenkins (Sales Consultant), Joe Antal (General Manager), Chris Wood (Sales Manager), and Jacob Oberfoell (Finance Manager) were an absolute pleasure to work with. I really appreciate their friendliness, honesty, patience, and guidance. In addition, Aaron Hansberry (Sales Manager) and Lisa Van V. (Service Advisor) were extremely helpful in explaining some neat features of our new Forester during the first service center visit for placement of some accessories. I would highly recommend the Van Subaru Family!!

We started out the new year by purchasing a 2015 Forester. We knew we wanted another Subaru, as we had already owned 6 of them. They are great all around vehicles, having won many safety awards. Everyone at this Dealership was friendly and helpful; all the way up to the General Manager, Joe Antal. Our salesman, Ben Johnson, was the best. Once we decided exactly the model we wanted, it only took him 24 hours to get it on the lot. Was quite satisfied with our deal and trade in. We are totally happy with our experience at Van Subaru and would highly recommend them to everyone.

We just purchased a 2015 Subaru Outback and the entire dealership couldn't have treated us better. You must ask for Blake Wilhoit as your salesman! He tends to be in demand so set up an appointment and he will treat you right. He is not into high pressure and has an easygoing manner and he knows his product. He introduced us to Marcus who had already anticipated our needs before we even knew what we wanted. We had made several trips to the dealership prior to the sale and the network was on the lookout for our perfect automobile. When we were ready to buy, the car was there and the price was right. Joe Antal, General Manager, was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. On to the finance guy, Dave, he was awesome. He worked and got us the best rate possible. Overall, the experience was warm and friendly and I would recommend them to anyone!

I had a problem with the OEM tires on my 2015 Subaru Forester. In my opinion, they were exhibiting poor traction in "lightly icy" road conditions. As a consequence, I did not feel safe driving the vehicle. Van Subaru replaced those OEM tires with a new set of highly rated All Season tires, at absolutely no cost to me. They only thing they asked me to do was to send an email to Subaru.com, informing the corporation that I had a "vehicle problem". It remains to be seen how well these new tires will grip the road, but that has no bearing on my opinion of Van Subaru. Bottom line: They are tops.

I was very nervous about buying a new car for the first time by myself. I cannot say anything but good about this experience. I was especially pleased with how the General Manager Joe Antal worked with my salesman. I genuinely felt like they were trying to do the best they could for me. I was impressed with the professionalism of the General Manager especially and could sense a atmosphere of family there. I will definitely buy from again and will be using their service department even though its quite a drive for me.

What to say but only "WOW". This place is awesome. I purchased a Forester XT from John Wickwire at Van Subaru and the entire experience was amazing. The buying experience was extremely seamless. John did a wonderful job not only showing and selling the car but he also delivered my "newer" used Subaru to my work. That was totally unexpected especially since this was a used vehicle. I highly recommend this dealership.

My husband and I just got a new Subaru Forester at Van Subaru. It was a great experience! Our salesman, John, and the General Manager, Joe Antal, were both an absolute pleasure to work with! They went above and beyond to meet our price range with the car we wanted. Mark, in the finance department, was nice, smiley and made everything so easy for us. John spent a lot of time with us, showing us our car and all of its options. They didn't have the color we wanted in stock but got it there in less than 24 hours! Joe Antal personally came to us and introduced himself and talked to us about our wants and needs in a new Subaru. They are all Subaru enthusiasts! Van Subaru really is a family and we are delighted to be a part of it!! I highly recommend Van Subaru for your Subaru needs. We will be with them for many years to come! Absolutely wonderful buying experience!!

Sales rep was professional...sales manager was professional...general manager was nasty, went back on his word as to what they would give me for my trade-in and actually threw my car keys at me AFTER i HAD DRIVEN FORTY MILES TO THEIR DEALERSHIP. Joe Antal is the general manager...most arragant, unprofessional, rude sales person I have ever met. He actually scared my daughter whom I was buying a new car for. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS DEALER>>>COMPLAINTS HAVE BEEN FILED WITH SUBARU OF AMERICA, BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND LEGAL ACTION IS BEING CONTEMPLATED...PLEASE FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME AND I WILL PROVIDE VIVID AND SCARY DETAILS REGARDING THIS DEALERSHIP AND ESPECIALLY MR. ANTAL !!!!!!!!!!!! (HEATHERSMAN2011atHOTMAIL.COM)

Had agreed upon a price for a Impreza with the sales rep and sales manager. I was almost forty miles away and journeyed there on the next day with check on hand and with my trade in with me. The general manager rescinded the orally agreed upon price and when I refused to renegotiate the deal he literally threw my keys to my car at me. I have never been treated in such a manner and have filed a complaint with the national office of Subura of America. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT DOING BIUINESS WITH THIS COMPANY...ESPECIALLY WITH THE GENERAL MANAGER MR. JOE ANTAL!!!!!!.

I was just looking at SUV's at Van Subaru - their Salesman Sam Miller was a pleasure to talk with. He answered all my questions, showed me valid comparisons, and in general helped me see the quality and value of a Subaru. I purchased my Forester and am very pleased with it. I highly recommend Van Subaru and Sam Miller to anyone looking for a new or used car.

I was trying to buy a 2014 Subaru Outback that this dealership was selling on their website. I was dealing with Guy Merola. He got a purchase price from his manager and presented it to me. I agreed on his price on the Outback. Since I was an out of state buyer, I gave the dealership a $500.00 credit card deposit. I scheduled time off work, made travel and financial arrangements and prepared to come get my car. When I called Mr Merola with my travel plans he told me his General Manager Joe Antal has voided the deal and decided he needed an extra $3000.00 for the Outback since it was a hot car. Mr Merola requested that I look at their website and confirm the $3000.00 price increase. I refused to pay their upcharge and requested our previously agreed upon price be honored. General Manager Joe Antal refused to honor it and stated he could back out since he did not sign the purchase contract. I requested my $500.00 deposit be refunded. Mr Antal refused, so I called Subaru of America and requested their assistance. Thanks to their assistance I did get my deposit back approximately one week later. I have never been treated so poorly and lied to by a dealership as this one. I have family who live nearby and I have informed them to avoid this dealership. Hopefully other prospective buyers will read my sales experience and avoid them as well.

So the turbo on my car quit, and it was covered under warranty. The head of service said that he would take off the turbo to see if it was working. If it wasn't, he would take off the oil pan to see if my engine was blown. He said I was good, I had a warranty. He said he would cal by the end of business. That didn't happen. The next day, I find out that they found something broken that was NOT covered, and hadn't even bothered to see whether or not I had bigger problems JUST LIKE THEY SAID THEY WOULD. They didnt bother to see if something covered had failed and blown up the oil line. They wanted 1200 for a new turbo. I can get one off the Shelf from IHI for 400. they said 1750 for the up pipe and oil lines. 200.00 in parts. Now I have no idea whats wrong with my car because they did not deliver on what they said they would do. Over-Promise, Deliver Nothing. that's their mantra.

My salesman, John and his manager Joe Burberry easy to deal with that made the pricing simple buying process was very stress free. over in the finance department Adam was very good and explained everything in great detail so that I could understand it everyone knows no pressure situation. I would highly recommend anybody to go to the dealership they make it very easy to buy a car very comfortable. Each time I have been in the dealership, my experiences have been very positive. Prompt, friendly and curteous service with any problems I came in with resolved. I also like that their location has such easy access off the highway. I have moved to another location within the metro area since leasing my Subaru Impreza - a great vehicle - but can still easily access the dealership. Preston and Marcus were great to deal with, each proving me a card with their emails and cell phone numbers.

I was misinformed, disrespected, & lead on by people who are suppose to have integrityService Technician-PrestonGeneral Manager- Joe AntalI took a 1999 Subaru Legacy Outback 2.5 liter into Van Subaru for service because it was having issues & not getting enough power.A certified technician overlooks the car & informs the service rep that My Cylinder Heads are not getting enough compression & whoever did them last put them on incorrectly. So the service rep tells me that my cylinder heads need to be machined & put back on. That it would cost me $1700 at the most, that they would have to send the cylinder heads to Subaru to be done. Come to find out later that Subaru does not machine heads they sent it to a reputable local machine shop here in kcmo. I was lied toI call a week later & they have not even started on the job. I had to call them to find out that they were running behind. Horrible Customer Service The service rep states that it will be finished within 3 days. The service rep calls me back in 2 days & states that the machine shop stated the cylinder heads were not repairable that I needed to purchase new cylinder heads & cams & that would be an additional $1900 making a total cost of $3900. I told him that is nonsense that he did not inform me before I gave him permission to take the heads off that this could be worse case scenario. So I ask to speak with his master technician & manager. "Bait & Switch"So as Im speaking with the master technician/ manager. This manager tried talking over me, provoked an argument with me, interrupted me & hung up on me. He told me to not be mad at him because I didnt buy a good car; that hes trying to help me fix the piece of junk. "rude, disrespectful, & very unprofessional. So I decide to go up there & speak with the general manager of the entire store with a service technician, & the manager service technician who disrespected me present. They only offered me a $700 off the $3800 because of there mistakes or I pay them $500 to put it back together & I take my car. I told them that is nonsense I will go downtown & file paper work for a civil case against them because of there corruption & them misleading me. They decided to put my car back together for $350. & now I am out of $350. they robbed me for $350 Bottom line:If I was informed before giving Subaru permission to remove the cylinder heads. That it would cost up to $3800. I would have not given Subaru the permission to take apart my motor. I believe the situation to be bait & switch & here is why.1.Service Technician did not notify me of worse case scenarion, he stated that it would cost $1700. Whether his intentions were good or not; it is his job to inform me2.I gave the service technician multiple chances to tell me what the worse case scenario situation would be by telling him what I had checked & what had been replaced. & even after a technician checked it & stated that the motor was put together improperly he still did not inform me3.The technician manager argued with me, talked over me, interrupted me & hung up on me. He also told me that it wasnt his fault that I bought a bad car & he reffered to my car as being a piece of junk. He was very rude disrespectful & unprofessional.4.They were not timely & promising on there words.I tried resolving the issue by attempting to get my car fixed for $2500 which was a very reasonable price. parts were $1400 & I was going to give them $1100 for labor. But the general manager would not do it. So he decided to put my car back together for $350 & rob me of my money.Bottom line is that service department is full of thieves & that dealership is garbage

I should have known this would be an awful experience when I purchased our 2011 Outback at the old North Kansas City location and the salesperson repeatedly screwed up the invoicing over the course of a month. I nearly returned the car because the temp tags had nearly expired and I still had no title information or a proper invoice. The service experience has been absolutely wretched even in the new location. Even a simple oil change results in an attempted up-sell for this filter and that filter we never experienced at other dealers with our two previous Subarus. Scheduling is fairly convenient and you do get text message reminders, but it always takes longer than indicated. Most recently, Subaru corporate agreed to cover a part for free that was out of warrantee because it is a common problem (steering wheel radio controls fail). Three separate calls to the service department over the course of a month, and they never call back. The service reps are pleasant and "talk the talk," but dealing with this trainwreck of a dealership will waste your valuable time and you get the feeling of being blown off. I will never buy another car here and the dealer experience caused us to buy our first non-Subaru in a long time.

Don't believe this dealer's online listings, or receptionists. They put cars they don't have up online, and then have their receptionists lie to you to get you out to the dealer. I drove over an hour to come see a car, and then when I got there the car I called about didn't exist. Then the salesman pulled a "well, so what else can we do for you to get you into a different car today?" This is with no similarly priced cars with similar miles. Avoid this dealership and give your money to a more honest business.

I recently purchased a Subaru Legacy, 2006. I will start with the good things. The salesman was low key and professional and they did stand by their warranty. OK, now the "not so good". Had to take the car back three times to get the cruise control fixed. The last time I picked up the car, the car was FILTHY, whoever drove the car used up 3/4 of a tank of gas and did not replace it. The tech changed all the radio stations on the FM dial, and when they replaced the Missouri State Inspections sticker, they put it on crooked and did not clean the old "gunk" off of the windshield. In addition, this car was supposed to be "certified". Maybe Subaru has a different definition for this word. The wiper blades were completely worn out, and the door for the gas was stuck shut and I nearly got stranded. Don't they check these things? There seems to be NO ATTENTION TO DETAIL at this dealership. Yes, these are all small things, but several small things add up. Would I purchase another vehicle at this dealership? Probably not.

I purchased my 2010 Subaru Outback from Van Subaru in March 2010 and this was my first new car purchase ever. I had driven my previous car for 12 years and when it broke down for the last time I decided that I deserved a new car. Based on everything I had heard about Subarus I started shopping for a used Outback. I quickly found that they hold their resale value quite well and that it made more sense to buy a new one. I went to Van Subaru and received no sales pressure whatsoever. The sales staff allowed me to test drive a Forester and an Outback to see which one I liked best, allowed me to take both vehicles out for a long drive by myself and stayed late into the night while I slowly made my decision. At no point in the dealings did I ever feel pressured to buy nor did I feel that I was being lied to regarding the vehicle, pricing or the warranty. My wife and I shared stories with our sales agent, Marcus, and our financing agent, Mongo. I left feeling like we had made new friends. Now every time I go in, they know me by name. I continue to take my Outback there for all oil changes and periodic servicing because I genuinely enjoy hanging out with the staff there and I have no qualms about buying another new vehicle from them.

My 2000 Subaru Forester with 85,000-plus miles needed head gasket repairs. The service manager went to bat for me because I had had all my maintenance done through this Jack Miller dealership, and Subaru honored an "extended warranty." My repair costs were about half what they would normally have been. I have been to this dealer since 1999 and recommend them highly.
