I purchased a 2011 Ford Explorer from Brent at Grand Rapids Motorcar. I could not be happier, Brent and his staff were friendly, courteous and their no-pressure approach was a plus! The car was in immaculate condition and runs and looks like a new vehicle. I also did a trade in on my old car and he was very fair with the price. It was the easiest, most pain-free transaction I have ever had. I was in Battle Creek and Brent and I were able to take care of most matters over email so that when I test drove it and wanted it, I did not have to come back to GR to sign and drive. Thank you Brent!

I recently purchased a vehicle at GR Motorcar (which as my previous review states, was a FANTASTIC experience). A few weeks after I purchased the car we had a repair issue - nothing anyone could have seen coming, just a locked emergency brake. The service department was so great to work with, they got me in a loaner car as soon as I arrived and had the repair finished the same day. After I drove the car for a day I noticed a noise that I thought was related to the recent repair so I called and spoke to the service center. They got me back in the next morning, got me in a loaner again and had the problem diagnosed and fixed within hours. These guys are so great! I can not recommend them enough. They just do business right at Grand Rapids Motorcars.

I had been internet searching for a new car for several months when I stumbled upon my DREAM CAR at GR Motor Car. To be honest, I rejected it - thinking that I would be going to be a typical used car place and it would be a nightmare to get a good car. After watching the car for several weeks online, I finally decided to call and schedule a test drive with my dream car. I was connected to Harvey, and instantly felt like I was talking to a friend, not your stereotypical used car salesman. I scheduled the test drive the next day and still didn't think I would be buying this car, I was "just looking." After a test drive I fell in love with the car and really felt like I could trust Harvey and the team at GR Motorcar - being a woman buying a car, it can sometimes feel like people are trying to take advantage of you, I never felt that way during the whole buying process. The whole team was great and I loved, Loved, LOVED my experience there. These guys were honest, friendly and trustworthy and you can tell they really care about their customers and their service. I even had to hug Harvey several times before I left. I would not hesitate to recommend these guys to a friend, and I hope I buy my next car from them as well!

I would absolutely recommend Grand Rapids Motorcar. Buying a car from these guys this week was a great experience. They were extremely knowledgeable about all vehicles and were able to recommend based on exactly what I requested. It's obvious that quality is important this dealer. In addition, I have brought in several cars that needed repairs (BMW's & an Audi) and they fixed my cars in a timely manner and at a fair price. It's rare to find a shop that has excellent technicians, as well as an outstanding sales department.

This dealership sets itself apart from any other in the West Michigan area with it's outstanding customer service, honest professional sales staff and quality service department. The purchase process was very easy and if there is a problem with your purchase, they are willing to work with you to make things right. Tom, Brent and the staff of Grand Rapids Motorcar have brought the car buying experience to another level. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a quality used car.

Found the van of my wife's dreams, test drove the vehicle and she fell in love. Brett let us know that the van needed some work so we decided to do a final test drive after the work was complete which was to take 2 days. 4 days later the work was complete and before we headed over to GRMC with the kids for our final test drive I called Brett to make sure all was well. He informed me that the car had been sold the day before by one of his other salesmen. I understand them wanting to sell the van, but if the work was completed on schedule my wife and I would more than likely purchased the van and been on our way long before the van was sold to anyone else. Everyone at the dealership that we had contact with was very nice.

We called ahead to find out what time the showroom closed and found out we would arrive just at closing time. Harvey was generous and stayed late on a Friday evening to allow us time to test drive the car and then even longer to help us with our sale. He's a great guy to work with and I would definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a car.

She runs fantastic! My daughter & family were so excited and very thankful for the genuine customer service at your dealership. It became obvious the care and concern for a safe running vehicle was of utmost importance to the crew at GR Motorcar! The service department went above and beyond, the owner of the company approved the necessary adjustments needed to ensure safety and value for our money, and Harvey, well lets just say, working with Harvey was fun and very comfortable! I needed a car right away as my other car had died. I went to this dealership based on a friend that had purchased cars from Tom for 30 years. I walked in and met Brent and Tom and within a few hours I had a new to me car. Thank-you to Tom, Brent, Ron, and the wonderful service department. I agree with an earlier review that car buying for a female can be a very overwhelming task and with GRmotorcar I actually had fun. I Love my Chevrolet Cruze and would/have recommended this dealership to everyone that asks where I purchased my car. Great people, great service and extremely helpful. I will be back when I need another car in the future. It was truly my pleasure.

For the first time, we really had fun shopping for a car. The staff is great and they are dialed in about what YOU are looking for. Rather than talk about what they can sell, they listen to what you are looking for and work to make it happen. From the time I walked in the door, there was no pressure to buy and no push to upsell. All of my questions were answered with thoughtful answers backed up by facts. I did a lot of research on my own prior to my visit and there were no surprises. Attention to the details is very evident from the clean showroom to the clean vehicles on the lot. I was shocked at how smooth the whole process went as it is not usually the industry standard in my opinion. Thank you Harvey! You sir are a class act! I would highly recommend GR Motorcar to anyone.

This dealership has some of the nicest people I've ever met working there, especially Harvey. He was so friendly and talkative, and made the buying process so much easier! My husband and I had been looking for a new car for me and we test drove a couple from different dealerships, but all of them tried to get more money out of us because we're young. Harvey took such great care of us and didn't try to get as much money from us that he possibly could. He was upfront with us about everything about the car. I've never in my life been treated that way when buying something. Thank you so much for everything!

After car shopping for over a month, we found the van we were looking for at Grand Rapids Motorcar. I have not previously been there or heard of them. We test drove two cars on the lot and we were please with both. But the van that we decided to go with was truely the best deal in town! I have done my research and could not find another van with that many options in our price range. I'm so happy with our purchase. Not to mention the service there was great. Harvey was very friendly and easy to work with. No pressure like the other dealerships. I had enough information and time to make the best choice for my family. Thanks Grand Rapids Motorcar!

I was so impressed by the friendly nature of Motorcar of Grand Rapids. They responded fast to my interest in a car and treated me like family. They helped me finance my new car and even are going to do my first oil change for me! They cleaned up the car for me and getting the paperwork done was no hassle at all! They even made it so the car was there for me when I had all my paperwork for my totaled car to deal with! I felt so happy buying a car from them, and I highly recommend it to first time car buyers or to anyone buying a car from a smaller dealership!

They had a very good deal on a van we were looking for. We shopped at another local dealer and asked them if they would match the price at Grand Rapids Motorcar and the other deal almost laughed at us. On top of that they have a repair shop right there so if you want any work done on the vehicle (including body work - we had them pop a few small dents out) they'll take care of you.

I'm not a car girl. The last time I bought a car from a dealer was in 1991 and my parents basically managed the whole thing. I was a little intimidated by the thought of going to a dealer to buy a car...so I took my boyfriend with me. Now, after my experience at GR Motorcar, I feel comfortable going there on my own to buy a car again. Ladies, don't be afraid to go to GR Motorcar by yourself, just do your research ahead of time, know what you want and how much you're willing to spend. I called GR Motorcar and talked to Harvey about a Fusion hybrid I found online, and scheduled a test drive. When I got there, Harvey had the car inside for us to look at so we didn't have to stand outside in the freezing cold weather. He gave me all the details about the car and the information about the hybrid system (something new to me) and he patiently answered all my questions (I came in with a clipboard with several pages of questions/notes). My boyfriend and I took the car for spin and I fell in love instantly! Harvey worked with me on coming to a price we could both live with and gave me a fair price for my trade-in. He made the process easy, without any pressure. He was easy to work with and treated me as a person instead of a commission. He even thanked me for doing my research and coming prepared with all the necessary information to trade in my car. This is a new location for GR Motorcar and the entire place was very clean and welcoming. Great experience!

If you're reading this, you're probably enduring the car purchasing process - which we all dread. I have to say, I've purchased a decent amount of vehicles in my life and none have been easier and as painless as buying a car at Grand Rapids Motorcar. The gentleman that I dealt with was not only honest and fair but very knowledgeable in all aspects of my purchase. His attention to detail and service was the best I've ever seen. If you are in the market for a used vehicle, I would definitely recommend Grand Rapids Motorcar.

I purchased a 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8 from GRM. I was fortunate enough to have Harvey as my sales associate. Getting to know him was as enjoyable as the AMAZING car I just purchased. My wife, children and I are grateful for the time, patience and fairness GRM showed us throughout the process. If I told you GRM will go half-way around the world to help you, I wouldn't be lying. Lastly, as an active duty service member, thank for making this easily the best buying experience of my life. My pending PCS just got a lot less stressful thanks to Harvey and GRM. If you want top notch personal experience, go see these guys. Everything was done how we wanted it to be done. We purchased a 2007 BMW 550i and got a way better deal than any other dealer would even come close to. If you don't see something on their lot, just ask, they will find it. This is the 2nd car we have purchased from them in the last 5 years and would definitely go back.

I came to GR Motorcar to see a 2011 Subaru Forester. The car was in excellent condition true to advertisements. Working with Brent was a wonderful experience. He was honest, genuine, and had lots of data! I would recommend GR Motorcar to anyone, and now I'm the proud owner of a Subaru!

We came looking for a used Honda Pilot with very specific options and Brent was such a joy to work with! He searched and found the perfect Pilot out of state and had it in a few days. It's the cleanest 2006 vehicle I've ever seen! The financing experience was also great, they shopped around to find us the lowest interest rate available and we're thrilled working with the credit union they found. All in all this was not like any car buying experience we've ever had, Brent was so honest and fun to work with! I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely be going back when we buy a new truck for my husband.

Recently totaled a car in an accident and need a good deal quick! The owner/manager personally attended to my search and found a quality car at a great price. Very courteous and professional experience. Was most concerned with my needs and didn't try to sell me on cars wasn't interested in. I'm definitely coming back for my wife's next car!

I'm not a car guy, and I'm even less of a car buying guy. I don't know that there is anything worse in life than that first "how you doing today" upon walking a car lot. But this place is different, Brent Kilmer just does things differently; can't quite explain it though. Had a chance to talk to his dad as well, and heard his philosophy on how they do business; it was very refreshing to hear that kind of honesty. Our 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan needed a new windshield before it left the lot, of which they had one professionally installed. However, upon getting up to 60mph it was clear it was not sealed properly; they ended up having he windshield replaced altogether with another new one. When I asked why a new one instead of just re-sealing the new one that was just installed... "Sometimes it's easier than trying to fix a bad install." Stuff like that stops me dead in my tracks, and causes me to think I just wish there were more people that operated like this!
