I had full service oil change and tire rotation on my 2014 Fusion performed Saturday, Oct. 15th. I was charged an extra $10.70 for an inspection report. This was and error and I returned to the dealer today and received a credit for this amount and now it is resolved. I hope in the future I hope there are no more erroneous charges on my invoice. My trust in this dealership is now restored and I will continue to service my vehicle there.

I woke up to find the tires and wheels of my 16 explorer had been stolen. My vehicle was sitting on the ground, with the exception of a landscape brick. I called the village ford body shop in a panic. I was reassured within a second by the village ford staff that all would be taken care of. I provided Jason MacDonald, the sales operations manager, my claim number, and he assured everything would be ok. Jason arranged transportation for me and ensured everything would be stress free. I couldn't even imagine better treatment! Village Ford made the arrangements for my vehicle to get towed there. I live over an hour away and was thrilled to not have to deal with my insurance company. I came to the dealership and was greeted by Jay Sturtz, Bob Wheat, and James Cosgro .. The entire management team was there to welcome me by name. My vehicle was in the body shop, I received a call from Rod Gill, the body shop manager within 1 hour of my vehicle arriving! I felt like I was the highest priority! Upon my arrival I was able to visit the Village Ford Cafe, where I had lunch! Village ford has their own chef and cafe, which you won't find anywhere else . Everyone greeted me with a smile and I felt like family! Jason MacDonald made sure I was taken care of and then I was on the road. I received a call every step of the way, and my vehicle was ready before promised. When I picked my vehicle, it looked as good as the day I picked it up! Thank you Village Ford, for under promising and over delivering! I always feel like family! Village ford is the place to go. Just when you feel like everything is great- they out do themselves. They even have a concierge who was with me every step of the way! Even though, there are several dealerships on the way, I will always go the extra mile to village ford! Thank you village ford, for taking care of my friends and family for the last 35 years- I will be back in a couple months to get a new vehicle! It's not very often that you find a dealership that makes you feel I like family! They are better then 99.6 percent of ford dealers in the country( via ford presidents award) and if you step one foot in the dealership, you will know why! You're always family at Village Ford! Do not think twice, Village Ford is the place to be for any vehicle need!! ( they deliver ). I will pass every dealership on the way to village! It is truly your home away from home. Don't waste a t time. Village Ford is the ONLY choice!

The service department makes sure my vehicle is safe for me to drive at every oil change regardless of the mileage. You just feel a lot more safe when you pick up your vehicle from theservice department then when you drop it off for service. The service department is verycourteous and helps you anyway they can. Everybody is so knowledgeable about your vehicleand offer suggestions how to make your vehicle ever more safe. I own a 2015 Ford Explorer that I have serviced at village ford. I've always had a great experience at village ford. When I come in, they greet me right away. The staff is always pleasant. I sit no more than an hour depending on the service I have done. if an issue arise, they let me know right away just in case it may take a little longer. If its going to be more than an hour, then I'll just leave and pick it up when ready. I would recommend to anyone who wants Fast, quality service to have it done at village ford. Plus the perks you get for being a quicklane customer, like rebates. Love them guys for this. Keep on doing this and I'll never go anywhere else.

I recently visited Village Ford in search of a used Ford Fusion. The car I was looking for was sold the previous day, according the sales rep who assisted me. I had randomly showed up without calling, so I wasn't bothered with the car being sold, but I was still greeted as I pulled up, even without an appointment. My sales rep seemed in a scramble to find me something else. I was quickly handed "certified pre-owned" information, and then walked out to look at a 2010 fusion hybrid they had. The car was alright. Wasn't really clean inside, but with it being winter, I didn't let it bother me. I was surprised that the sales rep came with me on the test drive - this was a first since I'd started my car search. During the ride the sales rep criticized Carfax when I asked about the accident report that was listed for the car we were test driving. They mentioned how accident reports aren't accurately reported and how a catastrophic accident could be reported as a minor accident, hinting that I should take Carfax as a grain of salt. I understand that it's true that Carfax isn't always reliable, but for a person trying to sell me a vehicle to tell me that, it makes me extremely uncomfortable, especially while test driving a car with a "minor accident" on the Carfax. This was the point that I decided against Village Ford, and decided I'd shop for a car elsewhere. Aside from my poor experience with the sales rep, the office was, by far, the best I'd been in. Very clean with nice furniture and decor. It felt like there was much more pride behind their used sales department than many dealerships I'd been at.

Your representative, Ron Clark was very pleasant and helpful. He assisted me as soon as he was free and took excellent care of me. All of my questions were answered and he sold me what I wanted. I may or may not recommend your service department depending on the need. For warranty work - yes. This was the primary reason for my visit (recall). Easy appointment set up, drop off and pick up. Car was ready when promised communications to me were as committed. However - when I was there, I also needed an oil change. For convenience, I had it done by you. Oil change and an air filter - over $70! Sorry - I won't be back for service that I am the one paying for it. The same service at my local oil shop would have been $40. Your rates are too high!

I loved my salesman Rob Ecie he went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and well taken care of! Unfortunately the other employees at the dealership didn't take very good care of me once I purchased my truck.... For example! The floor paper was still down and the weather tech floor were in a pile in the back seat, the screws to my license plate were laying on my bumper, the for sale stickers were still all over my windows!! Also the key lock box was still on my driver side window! Then I noticed I only had half a tank of gas... I was like well what a way to take care of your customer that had been patiently sitting here for over 2 hours.... Like I said if it wasn't for Rob Ecie my business might have went elsewhere he was apologetic and tremendously helpful.

We brought my wife's 2015 Explorer Sport in for the 20,000 mile service (oil change, tire rotation, air filer(s), etc). Everything went smoothly and staff was friendly and efficient. I read on a posted sign that a complimentary car wash would be completed upon request. Although we did not specify a car wash, it would be nice to empower your employees to complete a wash when it is clearly needed. My wife works on a dirt road so her vehicle is often dirty. It is a service that should probably be completed even without request from the customer.

I purchased a new Flex SE from Jay Freud, at Village Ford. He found the vehicle at another dealership, and arranged for it to be sent to Village. Then Jay and Bob Wheat helped me get a good trade-in value for my old Flex SE. Jay also found rebates that helped lower the price of my vehicle. Jay explained all the paperwork during the sale. He connected my phone to the Sync system, and explained new features on my Flex to me. The experience was great! Bit of confusion regarding the service sked: I appreciated the email sent reminding for service. However, directly underneath the description for oil change, etc, there is a tab noting 'request appointment'. I did as much, only to learn the following day that appointments are not needed for this service.I realize this is an IT issues but simply inserting a 'no appointment necessary' line would resolve things easily. Seeing this would have had my car at the dealer first thing in the morning, instead of waiting for an assumed appointment time.

I had a wonderful experience. Becky was very pleasant and contacted throughout the day to let me know the progress. A car was sent to pick me up from home when my car was finished so I didn't have to walk and the car was washed when I picked it up which was a treat. The only odd thing was that when I picked it up and drove for a short time there was a weird noise when I used my brakes. It disappeared after a couple of days so I think I'm good now.

I love your people. Your technicians in the pit not so much. I took my car in for an oil change and to be winterized. Only to get all that the oil pan is rusted through an leaking all over the engine it needs a tie rod and rear brakes. Its needed a ti road since Michigan roads became crap first 3 times I fixed it after that I'm not going to until they fix Michigan roads. I decided to put my car out to pasture. Your sales people DONT listen for crap. I injured my back can't do bucket seats thy show me 2 cars with bucket seats. ugh they don't deserve even one star.I left the dealership drove all the way home no problem its 39 miles to home. next day the anti freeze leaks my friend looked a it and the hoses are good rad is good its a clamp that came loose.still no oil the next day nothing Thursday 2 drops of oil on the cardboard I put under it to monitor. so for as bad as they made it sound I wonder. my car has 236,132 miles on it people are amazed and say its unheard of for a Ford. I took care of my car. Look at its service record.

I just picked up my 10th vehicle from Village Ford! Each and every time my experience is nothing less then wonderful. Some people dread the car buying process, but one trip to Village would certainly change that. I absolutely love the fact that the owner of the dealership is always there to welcome me and the management team is so actively involved. Each visit I see the same staff that have been there for as long as I can remember, and I feel a sense of complete comfort in making a commitment. My family and friends have been loyal customers there for over 30 years. Even though I pass over 10 dealerships on the way, I would never consider an alternative. I could not ask for more desirable service. At "Village Ford they have to be better" and they are!

Village Ford was the only repair/service shop willing to upgrade my van to include the factory installed tow package. I was able to research all and purchase all the OEM parts ahead of time. The service manager and service advisor put one of their more skilled technicians on the job.They gave me advance warning that they would need it overnight, so I was prepared for it. The van was finished by lunch the next day. I haven't had any issues with the van's cooling system since the upgrade, though I haven't been able to challenge it either.All in all, I was very satisfied with the service I received.

2015 Escape SEService was great. Staff was very helpful. I had an early lease turn-in on a 2014 Escape Titanium edition that had all the extra sensors. I HATED all the extra sensors because they were constantly going off when they shouldn't have. I was thrilled to be able to turn this vehicle in early!! Ford needs to work on those sensor issues. Salesman Jim Bowling worked very hard to get me an Escape that didn't have "low profile tires" (which are very stupid in Michigan), get the color vehicle I liked and a car without lot of sensors.Thank you Jim. I am very happy with my new car!! :-)

The bottom line is that the guys running the Quick Lane on 6/27/15 were very professional. I had quite a wait and witnessed many customers approaching the desk. Even when some customers tried to be less than courteous, these guys kept their cool and answered all questions in a very knowledgeable manner. They bent over backward to right a wrong with a customer as well. I was very impressed. They were very good listeners too. They also had a good rapport with people from the garage when they needed to communicate with them. They were friendly but not phony; quite genuine. One of the guys even walked out with me to answer a question about my Sync.

My service experience was great! The one suggestion I have is that with today's technology, a lease vehicle should be available at the dealer ship to the customer if they have one on their extended service plan.In other words, a customer needs a rental for a day or so in order to continue service on the vehicle and get around while the vehicle is in service. the dealer ship can contact the rental company have a car there supply a credit card number and we are off and running.thank you.

Staff was helpful, however I had to wait 1 hour to get a shuttle to work. In the future you may want to engage a back up plan or give shuttle priority to those who are working. Also, did not find the problem associated with the ticking coming from engine compartment. Bringing the car back on Monday for the foreman to investigate. The car did not have this ticking when I bought it. just started a few weeks ago....I do not want to listen to ticking...so saying no found problem is not acceptable!

My only issue was timing. I dropped my vehicle off on the day and time as agreed, but it wasn't worked on that day, and then required an additional overnight. My service representative was very open about what was going on, and did a good job of keeping me in the loop so I could make alternate arrangements.I'd consider instituting a policy that if you can't get a customer their vehicle back when promised, there should be no quibbling about a "loaner" vehicle. To be fair I was offered a half price loaner, but I think it should be 100% covered - especially if it was due to overscheduling.

I went to get my Focus fixed. It had a stuttering, jerking problem-- transmission problem-- for the second time now. They did say that it was a KNOWN problem and when I got my car back, they said it should be permanently fixed. I hope so. My advisor was indeed helpful, but when told that I would get a call to let me know what is going on with my car, he did not call unless I called him to touch base with him. When I get told that I will receive a call, I expect a call. Besides that, I have a good experience.

My personal scedule was tight, and Service Rep Beckie Audritsh was able to fit me in on short notice and get both accomplished. (Seat "memory" problem was due to my lack of understanding of how to program, which the shop tech helped us undestand. Works fine.) I had been driving a 2001 model - and I had been happy with that one. I brought my car, under warranty in for service. My husband actually purchased the car from the dealership in Telegraph. We have had the WORST WORST WORST WORST WORST WORST customer service there from day one and I will never go there. We had purchased a car from Village Ford in the past and we were happy with it and the service (why my husband veered is still a mystery to me).The repair service staff is very courteous, attentive and professional. My car was serviced in a reasonable amount of time - it was seen the same day and finished the next day. I very much like the service rep keeping in touch with me via text--that is just convenient and I felt kept in the loop. Minor complaints. The poor labeling on the car that lead to the problem in the first place. Not the dealership's fault, but Ford's design decision. Second, the lobby at the service center could use a little freshen up (or both days I was there, I had the misfortune of being there after some less than fresh smelling visitors had left).

Very quick and friendly service during my last visit. Even when they are busy, they give you an honest time quote for the service so you can plan accordingly. They have a shuttle for those who work locally. I find that if I need service quickly, it helps if I call in advance to get an idea for how busy they currently are.

Given the significant scope of service I requested on my 2012 Explorer, I felt the service was performed in a very timely manner. When I called to have my car evaluated after the accident it was going to take me several days because of the holidays. This was disappointing to me as I needed help immediately. They finally agreed I could bring it in the next day and they put plastic on it so I could drive it. They told me it would take two to three weeks to fix it. I did not have rental insurance so I arranged to bring it in on Monday so it could be taken care of while I was on vacation. I rented a car for three days before I left. When I returned from vacation and called on Friday morning three weeks later they said it would not be ready until the following Tuesday - that meant 4 more days of rental costs for me when they had told me it would be ready. I had used another dealer previously after an accident and they gave me a rental car.The car looked good when I did pick it up so the quality of workmanship was good. I just would like them to be more sensitive to the time it takes for repairs.

I purchased a 2015 Ford Escape. I was in an accident and my 2013 Escape was totaled, so I needed a car quick. In .5 hour from the time of my initial call, Jason MacDonald found me an equivalent...with more features for a lesser monthly lease payment. What could be better? On delivery, he took a lot of time to show me how to use the new park assist and other features. Then, Jamie Wilson, the tech guy, synced my phone and answered all my tech-related questions. All in all, it was a great experience that came right after a very bad one. I am moving forward with a new car!

Salesperson Jason MacDonald really followed up with every question we had, from providing pricing and VIN numbers (so we could check out the insurance cost ahead of time) on different models, to letting us know exactly what options were available, what the pricing was, and how long the special rebates were available. We could have easily waited a year or more to buy a new vehicle, but because of his follow-up and the special rebates on the 2014 Focus with the newer 2015's coming out, we decided to make the purchase.

Been looking for a used car this week. Been to several dealers in eastern Michigan. Village Ford has not caught up to the times. Gives you the stereotypical "used car dealer" feeling that has annoyed people for years. Tight quarters to work with salesman. Everything feels pressured. They disappear for long periods of time without good explanation. Drove vehicle with definite vibration that my wife felt in passenger seat. Decided enough was enough when salesman tried to convince me I really didn't feel it.No joke but the six or seven other dealers have all adapted to the modern no pressure type approach with great customer service and open inviting showroom. Will give them kudos individually. Would not shop at Village Ford again but don't wish them ill. Hope they revise their model and catch up with the times one day. Pressure and "playing sales games" drives the modern consumer away, at least myself and the people I know.

Interaction with the Village Ford Dealership Team dealt with a Warranty Service issue. Although the issue was difficult to diagnose from a root cause perspective, the Service Representative took the time to enlist the Shop Foreman to personally go on a test drive with me to experience the issue firsthand. Service Representative then dug into the potential root causal factors and determined that there was a TSB in the system for the specific issue. Car was repaired and returned washed in a few days. Shuttle service was used as a part of the drop off and pick up of the vehicle and was much appreciated. Overall very favorable experience. Thanks.

My sales person, Stephen, was very friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. The Finance Department, Tom, provided the information I needed to make a well-informed decision. Tom also worked hard to get me the deal I needed. My only issue was that my trade in was valued significantly lower then the KBB "good" condition value. I believe had I gone to another dealer, Butman Ford perhaps, I would have gotten a better trade in value. The reason I took the trade in was because the car I was purchasing at Village Ford had very low mileage and was in pristine condition.

For the first time in my life, I'm buying a used car. I'm not sure if it's because I'm a female or because I'm buying aused car in the lower range. First of all, Keith blew me off a couple of times. I had in mind that I wanted to purchase a usedEscape around 8-10K. I came into dealership and the only car that he said was in my price range was this rag-top 2002Chevrolet Cavalier with 32,000 miles on it. The price that he quoted was $7,960. (LOL). If you look up Blue Book value,it's quoted as $3,910. I told him that was an awful high quote for a 2002 vehicle, he kept repeating, "it's clean".I will never return to Village Ford of Dearborn.I went to Lafontaine in Ann Arbor and purchased a 2008 Mini Cooper with 62,000 miles and was very happy with the salesperson.

I took my 2011 Fiesta in a for a check engine service light at ~9:00 am. At 5:08 pm I called the service rep to determine the status and was informed that a known problem part was on order and the vehicle would probably be ready by 2:00 pm on the following day. Uuumh, how will I get to work tomorrow??? Why didn't anyone call me to explain a part had to be ordered??? I retrieved the vehicle via my bicycle and vowed to NEVER return to Village Ford again!!!BTW, this has been posted on Facebook and I've written to Ford headquarters, and I'm researching how to express my frustration with VILLAGE FORD (Dearborn, MI) to Ford management. Also, this is not the first time VILLAGE FORD has disappointed and frustrated me (shame on me).
