After going to several dealerships to find my GLI, James and his team at Huntington VW were the obvious choice. The facility is clean and new and staffed with some incredibly knowledgeable and friendly people. It was no question that I wanted to give my business to James as his professionalism and assistance was well beyond anything else I had received from the other VW dealerships on LI. James Pitney is absolutely great, he is professional, very knowledgeable, and he got me into the car that I wanted, and he delivered on what he promised. I had been looking for a manual transmission vehicle for a while, and it was until I corresponded with James before I realized that none were around, but no-one else told us this. James portrayed no pushy sales tactics, he was very transparent in our dealings and show a very honest demeanor. He took the time and provided us with everything we needed. He stood with us all through the process, cutting no corners, he was just a wonderful guardian the whole time we were there.Bob Puccio was also very patience he explained everything to us, he offered us the various options, was very flexibly and straight forward. I had no problem with the financing process. This is definitely one of the best dealership I ever visited.

James Pitney stands out for his professionalism, car knowledge and can-do attitude in getting any prospective car into the car they like. We had been looking for a car and have had a couple of calls and email exchanges from James. He took his time to present options, sound tradeoffs and availed himself even on late Sunday afternoons to help us. All with no pushy sales tactics, all in a very transparent and honest manner. He took the time and provided us all relevant aspects for the VW Tiguan 2017 2.0T Wolfsburg Edition we were considering and when we met in a matter of a couple of hours we drove home with our new VW. He took care of the lease car we were returning and even availed himself the next day for followup questions. I called him late one afternoon to discuss the purchase & he listened to exactly what I was looking - 2016 Passat White with Beige internal w/tech package. I drove out to meet him & he was there ready to work with me - he quickly understood what I was looking, Although he didn't have the car on his lot he went out of the way to ensure he would find the car. He did it! Due to a planned vacation I also appreciated the fact I was able to communicate with him via email - he was able to get everything done and had the car ready for pickup when I returned home. His friendly, respectful approach made the whole process relatively stress free. As my 2013 Sonata lease was expiring in July of 2016 I had a decision to make. I had to decide if I wanted to continue with Hyundai or explore other car makers. My employer has a partnership program with several car makers, VW being one of them, Hyundai not being one of them. I work for a German-owned company and heard how different German cars are compared to Asian and American cars. I also heard great things about VW of Huntington. I decided to pursue my interest in VW, and include my company's partnership program in the inquiry. I met James Pitney after submitting my VW Certificate online. In person he provided excellent customer service, from the first time he introduced himself to the final drive away from the dealership in my Jetta. I knew the amount I could spend on the lease. Between working with Robert Puccio and James Pitney, they made it a seamless, non-stressful event for me. They listened to my needs and puts a whole new experience on leasing a car. Even returning my car back to Hyundai and paying my remaining car payment was a head turner for me. From this experience, I feel I have become a VW customer for life and hope to pass on my VW experience to my son and have his first car be a VW! My 15 year old son saw me pull up in my Jetta and said, "Wow, this is beast Mom." - a compliment at it's highest from a 15 year old! Thank you VW of Huntington. I can see why your dealership is where it is.

After heading to another VW dealership in the region, and getting a high price and a hard sell ("good for tonight only", and "we're losing money to sell to you at this price," etc.), I got a MUCH better deal with James Pitney at Huntington. More importantly, I actually felt like a customer being treated with respect, not a mark. Everything that James represented about the car and the lease deal was accurate; there were no last minute surprises when the paperwork got signed. Thanks James, and thanks Huntington VW. Love my new Golf!

When I found myself in need of a new car, a family member recommended that I go to VW in Huntington and ask for salesperson Chris Valentine. Chris assisted me throughout the whole process - from checking out different models in the showroom, test driving a sedan and SUV, signing the paperwork, and then pick-up. I felt like I got a great deal without having to play games. Firstly, anyone shopping for a VW that lives in long island should not go anywhere other than VW of Huntington. Picking up my second car from them and have had ZERO complaints on anything. Nice new showroom, service was easy and on time, and my salesman, Shawn Baron who was there 3 years ago on my first car was Awesome back then and just got me into a new car literally within about 10 Minutes. Price was great, no haggling no nonsense, just the right price and honestly no discussion. I was looking to lease a new car, he gave me the price within a minute. Did not have to say "why don't you come down to talk" or "let me go talk to the manager", just plain and simple, here is the best price we can do, simple. If you are looking for a VW, go see Shawn you will be very happy that you did!

I appreciate the opportunity to inform you of my first and most definitely last consumer experience at VW of Huntington.I purchased a vehicle here in October at a fairly discounted price along with an extra part for the car to "sweeten" up the deal. VW is scrambling to make sales because of the diesel scandal. Jose was my sales person and he was generally a good dude; nice, friendly and accommodating, as all dealers typically act to meet sales quotas. The purchase took a few hours and I went home with the car the same day. One problem however, was that the part they agreed to provide me with to "sweeten" up the deal, was to be given to me at a later time because they were currently out of stock. I made a note of this and went home anyway with a brand spanking new car. A few weeks pass and I still do not have my agreed upon part for my car. I get calls from Jose here and there with excuses along the lines of: "we ordered the wrong part and that we need to return it and get the correct one for your car," or something like "the part shipped so it should be here within a few weeks" and even "the part is on backorder and won't be available for a few weeks". I made occasional calls and even VISITS to the dealership, requesting information on my agreed upon part, to no avail. They did not even apologize for the delay in completing my deal.A MONTH AND A HALF pass and I still do not have my agreed upon part. I am patiently waiting at this point and pondering at what action to take for this run around that I was being subject to. Finally, Jose gives me a call and says "it's here" so I tell him I'll come and pick it up later tonight. And so I head over to Huntington, a 30 mile drive from my workplace, in 4 PM rush hour, to pick up my agreed upon part. Jose lets me in and then tells me: "the part was here, and now it's locked up in the parts department and I can't access that until tomorrow." At this point I am fed up and feel I should speak to someone other than Jose, so I do. I'm then guaranteed by Bob that the part will be available once again tomorrow and that I can pick it up tomorrow. Jose gives me an out-the-door "sorry" as I leave the dealership disappointed for about the fifth time. I get a call from Bob the next day saying "Jose just picked it up [the part]" which literally revealed to me that the part was never at the dealership and that Jose likely lied about it being behind the parts department. I return again the next day in rush hour, to finally and successfully pick up the part for my car, after nearly TWO MONTHS of lies and deceit. This was quite literally the worst customer service I have ever experienced. In fact I would suggest this dealership provide its sales crew with lessons on customer service so that they can keep their customers instead of losing them on the first sale they make. Trust me, VW of Huntington, you won't be meeting the quotas you have in the long run if you treat customers with this level of carelessness and dishonesty, even if you are a volume dealer. They sure lost me as a returning customer with their lies and deceitful acts and I hope that you can avoid this dealership to save yourself from such an experience.

Tried to buy a certified 2014 Passat advertised for $16795 on dealer website. We were told we couldn't purchase the car unless we either financed the car through the dealership or pay an additional fee of $495. No where in the advertisement was this stated. The sales manager, Shawn, agreed it wasn't written in the ad, but he didn't feel this was false advertisement. Shame on you, you could of had satisfied customers buy selling the car for the advertised price!!

I've been waiting nearly 4 months for a refund from these guys- a refund they confirmed I am due and a refund for which they've been telling me is on its way to me for a long time. I have yet to have anyone confirm the check is physically in the mail and they dodge my calls and refuse to respond to my emails. If you have to buy from them, do so- but do not get any add ons. If you ever trade in or sell your car you will NEVER get your money back for extended warranties cancelled prior to expiration, no matter how patient and understanding you are. I'm past the point of being friendly anymore. I left a glowing review when I bought the car and I will never send another customer their way again.

I am so unhappy with VW of Huntington. I lease a 2012 Jetta and went with my husband to the dealer and it was such a smooth process that I went back again to upgrade to a 2015 Passat. I brought my car to the dealership and they never walked around with me to inspect my car so I assumed that they were accepting the car as is. Two months later I got a bill from VW Credit for $1100 worth of damage. I was never told by the salesman that this could happen. In addition on the day that I went to the dealership to discuss it was the day the dealership was on our local news as one of a handful of dealerships on Long Island that were being investigated for fraud. The Then I was told about tire coverage and excessive wear and tear coverage and I decided to take it for a total of an extra $40 a month. When I showed a friend who worked for a car dealership that the coverage they explained to me and had given me in a typed up sales sheet it was not the same coverage. They led me to believe I would be covered for up to $5000 of excessive wear and tear at the end of the lease which apparently is not what is in the contract I signed. I would NEVER buy, lease or own another VW not because I don't like the car but I feel I was totally abused by this dealership.

From my initial inquiry on a new and cpo Jettas they had in stock, they were quick to respond, courteous, honest. I got a great deal and they were really a pleasure to deal with. I drove an hour and a half from another state to buy the car. They were ready, happy to help, and gave a really great walk through of the Jetta I had bought on the phone. My only regret is that they not close enough to use their service center. I can only imagine how well it's run.

I brought my Toureg in for service on Friday. I had to bring it in again on Saturday because the electronics had not been reset. I had to bring it in again on Sunday because after a $300 oil change by car needed two quarts of oil.

I purchased an EOS from this dealer and am very happy with my purchase. I sarted my neogiations over the phone with Jose and met him the next day. I am very skeptical when it come to car dealers and try to be very careful. They gave me a good price on the car and tried to make me happy (hard to to..lol). Jose was very competent and Ed Martinez in finance was on top of his game. I did the hard negotiations with Shawn and even he was nice to deal with. We purchased a 2015 Golf. We set out to buy this car with my first daughter in mind. She will be driving in 2 years and we would like to pass this car along to her. It's a fairly long story but please read for some tips.The car that my husband looked at in the morning was miraculously sold by 5:30pm that same day when I met him and Jose to seal the deal. We were told that they had a bunch of cars with the Sport package in the color we wanted. Jose and Shawn convinced us that we should get the car with the sport package because they couldn't get the SE and it was a nicer car anyway. I can only assume they needed to push this particular car. Fine, they gave us a good price and the car appearance is much nicer. That experience was annoying but turned out great. We left happy. Then when we went to pick up the car on a snowy, March morning. We called and were told the car is in the garage so that we can take a good look at it. When we got there, it was outside covered by a thin layer of snow. Chris was the guy who went over the features with us. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. Honestly, everyone was. My husband stopped listening when he realized the car was already driven 198 miles. This is when our happy experience turned sour.Jose insisted that this level of mileage is normal. I think all my husband wanted to hear was that it isn't normal. We were ready to leave with no Golf. John, came out to try to rectify the situation. He did admit that the mileage was a little high. He offered us money off the car or the trade-in so as to keep a happy customer. Too late, the damage was done. He was willing to refund our deposit but the plates were already moved over and the car was sitting right in our faces. At this point, it wasn't the money or the number of miles but the dishonesty that comes with being a salesperson. We asked if they could get us another car with lower miles and John's response was that there weren't any around!!! Are you kidding, just 4 days before, there were several and that's why they pushed the Sport package. Hey Car Sales People.... We weren't born yesterday. I suggested that he disclose the estimated number of miles before a customer picks up the car as to avoid this situation. He said they never have this situation. Just be honest with us.. He insisted he was being honest. We took the offer and wanted the refund to apply to the trade-in. They were good with that.We then worked with Bob to complete the finance part of the transaction. He presented all of the warranty info, tire program, damage program etc to us. It's funny to see that he was completely prepared with the monthly payment for each combination of those options. Then Jose tells us they will mail us a check for that refund we spoke about. Mail it??!! We wanted our monthly payment reduced not a refund check. They couldn't do it that way, even after they asked us if we wanted it applied to the trade-in or price of the car because why??,,,,,, They would need to re-run the contract, finance what??? They obviously could have made those adjustments if I purchased one of the warranty programs. Hey Car Sales People.... We weren't born 2 days before yesterday either! Bob was pleasant and didn't push us too much. He graciously accepted our no, no, no and oh yeah, no.All in all, they did rectify the situation but by that time, we were exhausted and our excitement was gone. That was just too bad. But hey, they rectified it and they were cool about it. Tips: get everything in writing even at your initial interest. Find out how many cars they have in the package you want. And ask approximately how many miles would be on the car when it is delivered to you. Knowing all that would have made our experience just below perfect.Jose, Shawn, Bob and John, thank you. I hope this was a learning experience for you as well. We'll be back when my younger daughter is ready to drive but please just be honest!

The service is OUTSTANDING !!!. Prices compare to other dealers on Long Island much ,much better. I recently purchased my first car, a (slightly) used 2014 Jetta, from VW of Huntington and I couldn't be happier with both the car buying experience and the car itself. My salesman, Allan Rosenberg, is friendly, professional, well-informed and attentive. Eddie Martinez in the finance department is a pleasure to work with. In the service department, Anthony Piccolo is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. My only complaint is that the dealership only offers styrofoam cups for the free coffee instead of paper, an eco-friendly, readily available biodegradable alternative to styrofoam. But seriously, I 100% recommend this dealership to anyone-you won't regret it!

I am happy to report that VW has resolved my issue of the loan payment mix up. They called me and I went to see Shawn Baron who is the sales manager. He gave me a copy of the check issued to the bank for the first months payment, including the late fee. He apologized for his behavior of the previous week and I accepted his apology. I am very happy with my 2014 Jetta Sportwagen TDI and am also happy that Volkswagen of Huntington has taken the appropriate steps to restore their relationship with me. Let me preface by saying that I am totally satisfied with my purchase, a 2014 Volkswagen Passat TDI, and the way I was treated at the time of purchase. The dealership is very transparent in how they negotiate, and they will give you a fair price on the car. When it comes to buying a new or used car, I highly recommend this dealership and the salesperson, Mr. Eliezer Polcano.My complaint is the way I was treated AFTER my purchase. The vehicle did not include an owner's manual, something that is essential given the large amounts of features that are included with the car. I emailed my Mr. Polcano, who replied and stated he would order a book from Volkswagen and ship it to my house. This was sometime in late Sep/early Oct. I got nothing. I followed up once with an email and got no response. When I went recently to get a recall update, I inquired about the owner's manual again. The serviceman looked it up in the computer and confirmed that they ordered it, but sent it back because nobody picked it up! I was never notified or called that it had even arrived and it was "sent back?" He said they would reorder it and it would be in the following Tuesday. I confirmed that my phone number was correct. I had to go out of town for a week, so when I came back, I expected a message on my answering machine. All I got was a woman calling to ask if my service experience was satisfactory. Nothing about my owner's manual.I phoned again today and a serviceman took down my information and said he would "call me back." Never called back. This is not how I would expect to be treated after dropping $30,000 into a car, especially considering that there is the potential for repeat business with servicing going forward. I don't like writing bad reviews about businesses, but after being ignored TWICE in what should be a simple, straightforward thing, I am left with no other choice.

My wife was interested in getting a Tiguan for the winter so we stopped into Volkswagen of Huntington. We let them know upfront that the decision would not be made that day, however it would happen within the month. Allen Rosenberg treated us like family. They offered us a great price straight from the beginning with no games. I checked another reputable dealership and the price was not even close. We went back 3 weeks later, accepted an offer and took a Tiguan home that day. Our experience is nothing but positive so far.

I went to this dealership on Wednesday October 22nd and spoke with a sales associate named Allen,with a letter about trading in my vehicle, how ever with some issues that my vehicle has, they weren't able to do so, but told us that they will see if/what they can get us into. So I wasn't expecting to hear anything back from them because thats usually what car dealerships do, they take your info and leave you waiting for days to find out wether you were approved or not, and never call back or return calls BUT THAT WAS NOT THE CASE FOR THIS DEALERSHIP!!! I received a very unexpected call back on the 25th saying that we were approved for a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta ! I was SO excited, but i tried to remain calm just incase coming monday ( the day of my appointment ) they're was going to be bad news. NOPE!! Nothing but GOOD NEWS ,SMILES & other customers of theres congratulating us. Allen our salesman was always trying to make us laugh, engaging in conversation and just a beautiful man to work with. I myself am a supervisor in retail and I know how customers are supposed to be treated, they treat their customers with so much love and care. We arrived around 12:30 , filled out paper work, handed in our low down payment and was on our way very promptly in our brand new volkswagen jetta se!!! When we was driving off there was another customer of vw of huntington, she came up to our new car and threw change in the back seat and told us in chinese tradition, throwing coins into the car signifies good luck. we love our car , the sunroof, the smell EVERYTHING! Thank you Allen & Ed for making this possible. I NEVER write reviews on car dealerships because they're usually all the same, But Volkswagen of Huntington you guys are all AWESOME! Brought non vw in for a second oil change. Anthony Piccolo, who id met before, appeared distracted. Sudenly the head of service, Edward J Merman, bursts in unannounced, accusing me of trying to take advantage of their vw vehicle special rate of 19.95, which I denied. VW oil is of the highest quality, so I wanted it for my BMW. Its that good. Later, I asked Mr. Merman what his problem was and we both had at it. I have now been effectively banned from this dealership, which I now consider a favor. That 19.95 oil change is just the lead in to much higher service costs. Im glad to be rid of this dealer. I also own a new Jetta, not bought here, but in the Carolinas. Prices there are much cheaper and I will find Long Island service although this is an expensive proposition. IMO, Huntington VW is very much in the tradition of Major and Siluppi. Buyer beware!

First impressions are always important as they are the lasting impressions generally remembered by the customers. I was impressed with Anthony's courteous professionalism. Our first VW experienceMy husband and I walked into this dealership knowing the car we were interested in. The sales staff, both Omar and Jhon, were very professional, accommodating and friendly from the start. We discussed options that were available, the value of our trade in and the cost of the car and within 3 days (over a holiday weekend) they found the car that we were looking for in port. By the end of the week we were picking it up. The entire experience was very pleasant, we got a very good value for our trade and we love our new car! Bob Puccio was excellent to deal with and we felt the walk through of the car by Omar was very thorough. We were also very pleased with the extra's that were given to us. I highly recommend each of these 3 men, the dealership and so far the Beetle Convertible.

I had an unexpected issue with my 2011 Jetta that I recently purchsaed from another dealership. I went in to see Robert and he had a tech on hand ready for a test drive. After determining there was an issue with the vehicle, he was able to have the car repaired while I waited.I have owned several vehicles in the past and have worked with service departments but I never had such a great experience working with a group of professionals like I've experienced today. First of, this dealership is stunning in quality. The place is brand new and gorgeous, the staff were all very well put together. This is something that shows they are successful right away, which made me comfortable. I went into the dealership and got a VW Jetta. I am completely in love with my new car and so grateful that I went to VW of Huntington to get it. The process was smooth and took only about an hour and a half. I had never even been inside a VW before, but the sign and drive event just seemed like too good a deal to pass up on. So I called Shawn on January 6th, the last day of the sale, and over the phone, we were able to still participate in the promotion without even having seen or test driven the car or without having to sign anything in person. I closed on my new house on January 9th and went straight to Huntington VW with my wife to pick up our new Passat to drive to our new home in. It was one of the best days of our lives. My fears of having to go to a dealership and deal with pushy salespeople were put to rest as soon as I contacted Shawn. He responded quickly and gave me an incredible lease deal on the exact VW CC that I was looking for. No haggling was needed and from my conversations with other VW dealers, I knew they weren't even going to be able to come close. Got a great deal, wasn't waiting hours to complete the paperwork and drove away in my new CC stress-free. I think the longest I had to spend at the dealership was when one of the team members was showing me all the functions and options of the car - and he did a very thorough job. I went in to the dealer, and I was asking for "Nissan Juke." Someone told me that it is next door. Then Beetle took my attention and I asked friendly Sales Person, Omar Herrera that if the price was right. He took over and show me all the beetles that they had in the place and gave me brief information about them. In an hour Beetle was mine. I was a previously beetle user, but my family had safety concerns. Omar convinced my mother and father. He even had connection with my 5 year old brother and his future car is going to be Beetle. Omar was excellent and the overall everyone was so helpful. GM Paul Mitchell was great also. He was really friendly. Person in the Financing was so helpful and he was being so nice to me and my concern about finance. I am 21 years old and I have a 2014 Beetle, and I appreciate their help in Volkswagen of Huntington. They have had everything that dealership must have! Friendly environment, great staff and smiling faces! Omar was excellent! Now I know where to go whenever someone needs a new car!

Went into this dealer after dealing with three other VW dealers on the island. I wasn't sure what to expect after having GREAT experiences with Habberstad Nissan, but so many people had left.. Anyway, long story short, went in looking to lease a Tiguan SEL, sat down to get a price, and right off the bat came up with the 2nd best price, barely missing the best price by only $3 a month. After minimal words exchanged, they beat the best price we had gotten by $5 a month after no other dealer was willing to budge on their price, AND they gave us a great price on our trade in, better then any other dealer was willing to give. After looking at colors, a decision was made, paperwork was filled out, and insurance policy changed, there was a new car in the family. It was one of the best and quickest car buying experiences anyone in my family has ever had. If looking at a VW, you need to stop in deal with one of the guys here. Fantastic buying experience.

We stopped into Volkswagen only because my husband had owned them in the past and suggested I take a look. A Jetta wasn't even on my radar. We met Elie, he took me for a test drive in a Jetta, he came in with numbers that I could afford without any haggling whatsoever, gave me a great trade in price on my old car and I signed the papers for the lease in under an hour. Two hours later, I was driving off with a new car. It was that easy!!! I have since recommended Elie to other people and I know now that this will not be the last Volkswagen I will buy. Elie erases all the negative things you think of when you think of a car salesman. He was professional, polite, friendly and knew exactly had to make me feel comfortable buying a new car. He was great and I would go back to him for my next car.

Shawn was very knowledgeable about the cars we were interested in and took the time to go over all the features and explain the difference between the trim levels. He helped get us to a price we were comfortable with. He also was a big help with the insurance, recommending a company, preparing all the forms, and taking car of the paperwork for us. The entire transaction went very smoothly and we got the exact car we were looking for. Shawn was very friendly and even followed up with us to see how we were liking our new Jetta. I can't wait to go back and get another VW once my lease other lease is up.

I got quotation from 3 dealers and this one gave me the best with no cheating. The consultant has been very nice and patient. They'd be contact with customer a lot but not the annoying kind. They work professionally that I didn't have much to worry about. And the most precious feature is, they don't bother you with making effort to persuade you of buying things you don't want.

Having owned some 20 cars until now, our experience at Volkswagen of Huntington with Shawn Baron is by far the best. 4 days ago, We stepped into the showroom of Volkswagen of Huntington the first time in our lives. A Passat TDI was already ready, engine running, for us to test drive. After the impressive test drive, Shawn provided us with all necessary, and correct, info for our evaluation. No time wasted at all. Impressed by Shawn's efficiency, politeness, and honest, my wife and I made the purchase probably less than half an hour after stepping into the showroom.We got the car yesterday. The preparation was complete and flawless, saved us a lot of time. The car, Passat TDI SE manual, is another surprise. It has a lot of torque. It is very comfortable and quiet. I drove nearly 200 miles at speeds up to 75 mph, 80% highway, for the first day we own this car. The mpg was 52! I really did not expect this. I would have been very happy already if I could do 40 or better, as its EPA highway is 43. Very, very happy!Shawn is the best car sales representative we have ever dealt with. He has made the whole purchasing process extremely easy and pleasant. We strongly recommend him to anyone without hesitation. Likewise, We would also recommend Volkswagen of Huntington to anyone. The first impression was truly impressive.

We first visited this dealership on a Tuesday and by Saturday we had our new GTI. Eli was very helpful and knowledgeable and the entire process was a pleasure. He explained the workings of the car in detail and we were able to take of everything by either phone , email or fax so that when we arrived on Saturday everything was completed and the car was ready to drive away. There was no pressure to purchase a million additional features or services although we did opt for the warranty that covered the entire lease period.(the young lady who handled that was also a pleasure to deal with) I would definitely visit that dealership first for any future car purchases or leases.

I was trying to find the exact VW car that I wanted in the nearest to me three VW dealerships. They all promised to get it right away if I come and give a deposit. When I asked if they will sign an agreement to deliver the car within a week, I was told that it might take from three weeks to three month to get the one I wanted. I did the search on VW America website and found out that no such car was available within 200 miles radius. There were a few cars like I wanted but "in transit". I used a live chat on VW America website. After quite useless conversation they gave me a phone number of VW America. The person on the phone told me that the information where these cars will be is not for "public" and suggested a few other websites to locate a car. She sounded confident and knowledgeable and I gave her all high marks on survey. However, when I tried those sites it was complete waste of time. Then I have contacted almost all VW dealerships on Long Island and some in Connecticut and New Jersey by calling directly and through Internet. All of them but one promised to get the car soon if I come and give the deposit but didn't tell me how soon will be that "soon". I didn't follow up on these promises and started to get a lot of annoying calls almost every hour with exactly the same empty "offer". It sounded like "bait and switch" tactic. I decided to give up on VW and went to check out other makes. Just out of my curiosity I sent an email to the only dealership, Huntington VW, that promised that the car will be delivered within one week and I got the confirmation right away. Since the combination of the car features I wanted was almost impossible to find (station wagon, manual tranny, gas engine, cloth seats, silver/gray color and blue tooth), I decided to call. Within five minutes of our conversation Shawn made me believe in VW again. So, I came and he delivered! Thank you Shawn!! What a difference between VW America corporate bureaucrat indifference to a customer and personal integrity and honesty of this sales manager!!! If I didn't meet Shawn, I would never go to VW dealership again. Now I will go to Huntington VW only!

Kenny Stewart was extremely professional. He did not pressure us at any time. He did not make us feel ashamed when our credit score came back lower than we expected. I was in the market for a 2013 VW CC but was picky about color and options so I contacted several dealerships throughout Long Island via email. All the dealerships got back to me promptly but they were pressuring me to come into their showroom to discuss, except for Shawn. Shawn understood I preferred discussing things via email initially. After several back and forth emails regarding specifics I felt comfortable that he was the salesman I wanted to work with. I made an appointment to come into his dealership and when I showed up he was ready and prepared. Shawn knew the vehicle in and out and got me a great deal, I signed the dotted line that day. I picked up the vehicle several days later as agreed on and he spent an hour with me giving a thorough walkthrough of my new CC. Salesman like Shawn made the whole process easy and transparent; I would highly recommend him after my experience.

This was my very first experience with any Volkswagen dealership and I had rec'd a lease termination offer so I decided to inquire what kind of a deal I could get. My experience with VW of Huntington was exceptional; I was greeted by my sales person, Jose, as I walked in the door. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He made the buying experience even more delightful. I cant say these things about the other VW dealers I visited prior to Huntington. The General Manager, Paul Mitchell, was also there to greet me. It was a pleasure to have met him and I know now why he has such a fantastic staff. It starts at the top. I have never seen a General Manager as accessible as Paul, besides being friendly and accommodating, he was a true gentleman. VW of America should be proud of this dealership and use then as an example as to how other dealerships should be run.
