I can always schedule a time that works for me and receive a ride back to work while I wait. Unfortunately, everytime I schedule a routine maintainence appointment, my check engine light goes on, so my $150 visit, now becomes a minimum $250 visit even though no work is needed at this time. I always receive great service, but I find it odd timing that the light has gone off twice now, both times the day before my already scheduled appointment, odd?

Our salesman Andrew has got to be one of the most knowledgeable guys on VW's. A true die hard. Really connected with my son, even took the time to teach him to drive stick after our purchase. My son described him as "calming", which is saying quite a lot when your driving a manual for the first time especially in busy Orland park. Finance manager Kelvin made paperwork a breeze. The whole experience was the best we have had so far with purchasing a car.

Comprehensive nature. Came in for one issue which was minor and they found another issue for fixing. Have an older car (9 years old) so these are going to happen. They were also flexible to allow us to pay for the parts now and the labor later when we actually get the service.

Came here in 2012 and had a great experience. I leased a '13 Passat SE. Came back as a loyal customer and was not treated as such when I returned my car and looked into leasing a new one. Turns out my '13 Passat had a recall on it, that no one informed me of until after I turned it in. Safety does not seem to be first. A man by the name of Richard Stephan was assisting me in pricing out a '16 Passat SE. He told me that Volkswagen of Orland Park is a haggle-free zone and that he was quoting me his best price. You can imagine how this played out. It a was definitely a haggle-zone as Stephan eventually chased after my car as I pulled out of the dealership and then repeatedly called me the next few days with different offers. It seemed as though he passed the baton to a representative named Kamila who eventually offered the price I originally wanted. -much haggling required. At this point I would rate my visit around 3 stars as this is pretty typical of any dealership you may go to anywhere in the US, it was what happened next that made me sick to my stomach. The Business Manager, Kelvin Mitchell, called me over the 4th of July weekend multiple times including twice on the 4th, a holiday. Kelvin wanted to change my lease contract from the agreed upon 12.000 miles to 10,000 miles per year. Yes, that is right he wanted to lower my lease mileage after a contract was already signed and the car signed over to me. To understand Kelvin wanted to change the contractI had to ask him multiple times what he wanted me to come in to the dealership for on a holiday weekend. He was not being direct with me and just kept instructing me that I needed to come in and resign. Luckily, I was not coerced into coming in by his tactics. He also blatantly lied to me that the contract said 10,000 miles which it says 12,000 miles. They turned a loyal customer sour at the hands of Kelvin and Richard. Most likely will not be staying in the Volkswagen brand after this lease is up. I also would not recommend this dealership to any of my friends or family.

Rich Munoz turned me over to Sergio who took the information regarding issues I was having with my 2012 Tiguan. I was having problems with the locking system and squeaky brakes. I asked him to go over fluids and tire pressure and within an hour or so he had checked everything and my car was ready to go. He was extremely courteous and provided excellent service. Only problem, I still have squeaky breaks! I will see if they get better.

We initially looked at another brand next to the Volkswagen dealership but were very unhappy with the customer service so we walked over to Orland VW.Natalia greeted us, was very knowledgeable, polite, and answered our questions without being pushy. She helped us with our decision between the Tiguan and Sportwagen. This was easily the most stress free purchase we've had in over 40 years of car buying.The complete process was professional, quick and easy. We love our new Golf Sportwagen and can only thank the Mazda dealer for their lazy sales staff.

I traded in my VW for a diesel one and it was an older model. Buying process did go smooth except for the fact that my stereo was broken when I purchased the car. And that is why I am rating 3 stars only, not the case of sour grapes. I literally drove home ( 3 hrs) with no stereo and also waited for a whole month to get my new stereo as this was CPO. And the troubles did not stop there, what I am most disappointed is that I had to call the dealership several times to get the stereo delivered, so that itself should prove that customer service fell way short of the expectations. And to compensate for my troubles they offered to cover up my oil change. Which my service was performed in Dec 2015 but they have not paid for the oil change as of today , I waited 3 months. So basically the dealership wont keep its promise and will not honor their commitment , all resulting in me giving them lower rating. In my opinion customer service is the top thing that attracts me to a particular delarship and VW of orland park has severely disappointed me in this regard.

Our's was somewhat of a complicated purchase transaction this time but Kamila and Dustin made the process as easy as possible. I have been a loyal customer for many years basically because the sales and service staffs are on top of their game and deliver the best possible experience every time. Everyone is very professional. I shopped around and compared prices from other dealerships. I recommend doing this. I worked with Andrew as the sales person at the Orland Park location. He was friendly and helpful. I did not feel pressured. We went through a series of negotiations as I went through the process of becoming more specific in the product that I was interested in. In all cases Andrew was helpful in explaining the pros and cons of each product. It was for me to decide what I wanted to pay for. And in the end I leased a 2016 Passat S. I have had it a week and so far so good! I strongly suggest taking your time and shopping around for the product and price that you are comfortable with. Andrew did not pressure me to make a quick decision TODAY like others sometimes do. I appreciated that.

My daughter has the misfortune of owning a terribly flawed Volkwagon Routon mini van manufactured by Chrysler and sold by Volkswagon. This van has been subject to numerous recalls on the Chrysler side but Volkswagon has been slow to do anything to rescue the tens of thousand people that own this lemon. My daughters Routon refused to start numerous times leaving her stranded with three young children. One child is 7 months old another 5 years old and another 6 years old. The 6 year old child is special needs having been born with Spina Bifida, Downs Syndrome and a clubbed foot. This has financially drained my daughter who now can't work because of the care this child requires. The van finally was dead in the driveway and had to be towed to Volkswagon of Orland Park. My daughter already researched the problem and found that theses vans were equipped with a faulty brain computer module called a TIMPM MODULE. Two days later the van was diagnosed with that problem. My daughter was quoted $1200 to do the job. Do to snafus in the dealers end, not getting the needed parts it too 6 days to complete the service.The service department called my daughter and told her the cost was $1365.00 it was over the estimate. My daughter was never notified as to the increased cost. I called the service manager Ed to get an explanation and to attempt to get the costs lowered. I explained my daughters situation financially and told him about the major recall that Chrysler did on all the same vans under their name. He said he knew the part was severely flawed and he said he heard Volkswagon was eventually going to issue a recall. I asked that in the mean time could he reduce the price. I explained my daughters situation while he listened seeming sympathetic. He told me he would look at the bill and try to reduce the costs to help her. He said he would call me back. Hours later no phone call. My daughter proceeded to pick up her van and was charged the inflated price of $1365. Parts not ordered correctly inept service department and untrained employees that did not know how to drive brought the van out to her, made this a very costly nightmare. This is something that Volkswagon should be responsible for, not the thousands of poor owners that suffer financially because of this lemon of a vechicle. No call back not even a courtesy call to tell me he couldn't reduce the price is an insult to me and my daughter. Don't ever by a Volkswagon from this dealer and above all don't ever get it serviced their if you have the misfortune of owning a flawed lemon Volkwagon Routon. No help no call no heart.

We've been receiving new incentive e mail notifications from Orland Park VW. We went to the dealership and test drove a 2014 Tiguan, and the experience with the sales lady was excellent until Bruce came out to check our trade in car. We went to the dealership with two cars and both of them were mercedes. Bruce comes out to the parking lot and goes to the 1999 CL500, and right away points out the scratch on the bumber, and as we told him that that was not the trade in car and he goes to the 2000 E430 and says this is worst than the other one and without even getting inside the car ha say this would worth couple hundred dollars. We were shocked by the unprofessionalism by this General manager. I'm really surprised that VW treats it's customers with disrespect. We ended up going to the next door and purchased 2016 Mazda CX3. Shame on you Bruce Phillips.

I purchased my 2015 VW Jetta Sport from VW of Orland Park. Eddie Bilo was my salesperson. At no point throughout the entire process did I feel like I was being schemed, sold, or pressured. Eddie was informative, courteous, and forthcoming. He did not try to hide anything, and was remarkably patient with me as I scoured the many options that VW of Orland Park had to provide. Once I had made a decision, Eddie took the utmost care to ensure that I would leave satisfied. When Eddie saw a small dent on the body of the car I liked, he immediately called me, found a brand new - but same model/trim - alternative, and invited me in to drive and inspect the new option. When it came down to punching numbers, there were no hidden or elevated fees, no pressure to buy extended warrantees or add-ons, and no BS. I was very pleased with my experience.

This was the best car buying experience I've ever had. Prior to my purchase, I'd been shopping around for quite a while to find the car that I wanted. They had the best price under invoice and actually had the car that I wanted. There was another VW dealership closer to my house that tried to convince me to put a down payment on a car they didn't have LOL. The overall buying experience was very low pressure and everyone there was personable and easy to work with.

First off, my brand new vehicle that I bought from VW of Orland has been in the shop 10 times since new and only has 33 k miles on it.My most recent interaction with the service department was regarding a grinding noise from the front of the vehicle. Dropped the vehicle off to have it checked and got a call back from the service writer saying that both of my rear wheels are bent. I told them that this was hard to believe and wanted to see it for myself. When I arrived, it so happened that the owner and the service director was there. I told them of my concern and we put the vehicle on a lift with one of the techs. Low and behold...the rims were not bent Hence they attempted to screw me out of 500 to "bend them back". I also was told that my vehicle was out of alignment and that my tires were abnormally worn. When I asked why, the tech said that "cars with 4 wheel independent suspensions will settle and go out of alignment even if you don't hit anything" And that "German cars are expensive to maintain". Both of which I find to be something that no one in their right mind would sign up for if even true at all. So I called a few tire shops and suspension shops and they all said that a vehicle with this low of mileage should not have an alignment problem this early on unless there was a significant impact. I've never hit anything with this vehicle.Lastly I found out on this trip that every 40k miles, I will have to spend between 1500 and 2000 just to maintain the vehicle as this has the DSG transmission along with the other items they try to get you for (spark plugs, filters of all sorts, computer scan???, oil change, transmission service, etc).After all of this, I had a long talk with the owner of the dealership who sits on some board for VW. He said that the VW service interval for tire rotations is flawed and that it should be done more frequently than 10k miles and probably attributed to the tire wear issue and ruined my tires.My next step was VW corporate who essentially turned their back on me. They sided with the dealer and supported their decision and did not even address the fact that the service department tried to steal from me. This is the face / representative of VW and they support stealing from their customers?????. Bad business all the way around. This is the kind of experience that can destroy a brand.BUYER BEWARE!!! DO NOT BUY THESE GARBAGE VEHICLES FROM AN UNSCRUPULOUS COMPANY...BOTH VW AND VW OF ORLAND PARK!!!! I will tell everyone I know or meet about this terrible experience and that VW does not care about their customers.

I had never owned or even driven a Volkswagen but my granddaughter was very interested in checking out some VW used cars. We were looking for her first car. She needed something reliable but wanted something that she would also be comfortable in, which meant leather seats; and of course that perfect car had to be just the right price. We arrived at VW of Orland Park and met Eddie Bilo while we were checking out the used cars. Immediately Eddie put us at ease with his friendly manner and answered our many questions. It didn't take long before we found that perfect car at a cost we could afford. While we waited for the paper work and the car to be washed we enjoyed some good conversation with Eddie and other friendly employees. My granddaughter loves her new used Volkswagen. When we first entered the dealership we were simply there reTo find details about the 2015 Jetta wagon. The salesperson replied to that request in a friendly efficient way and left us alone.When we re-entered the dealer ship after finding a vehicle of interest in the lot she was attentive to our inquiry but not pushy. We took a test drive and found our sales person informative on every aspect of the Jetta we drove and subsiquently purchased. Through out the the process she was helpful informative listened and advised us according to our concerns. Through-out the lenthly process she remained attentive to our requests and inquirerys. After our purchase was finished she competently guided us through the complex systems of programming and operation of the vehicle in a friendly competent self assuring manner. Customer based and fully cooperative at every turn. She provided clear accurate and helpful interaction at every level. At 63 and wife of 43 yrs who is 61 agree that of the many,many major purchases, cars, trucks,boats, motorcycles several homes and vacation properties , this sales person is without peer in accomidations to our needs and desires and concerns.We surely hope that she is only the first positive link in a long interaction with VW of Orland Park.

I can't say much about the salespeople upstairs since there were some changes. All I can say is the last time I went upstairs to check on a 2015 vehicle I did not feel that warm welcome from the last time I purchased my car which was in 2013 -- hopefully things will get better in time

I bought a used Beetle when I had my first child thinking it would be a good family car.....wrong. While I loved my Beetle and it sold me on another VW. I needed to find the best deal possible. I live 5 minutes from dealership and after reading reviews I wanted a used or new 2014 GOLF. After a little internet haggling I got a better price on my Golf than any advertised Golf of same model year nationwide and they gave me $2,500.00 than I paid for my 2012 Beetle I traded in which I had bought under a month ago. As stated earlier I had to bring my infant with me they were more than accommodating and had a very clean dealership. I will suggest them to friends and family and my Golf is my favorite car I have ever owned from Lexus to BMW Corvettes and still have my Mustang thanks to the great deal, and the great car. The Golf is as nice as any car costing twice as much in categories of build quality and over all prestige in my opinion. Thank you VWOOP

I'm admittedly a car guy and I've bought and sold a lot of vehicles. Got our first VW a few years ago and a few months later bought another. The vehicles have been great. Fast forward two years and another kid and our Tiguan wasn't quite as big as we would have liked. Worked out a deal to buy our third VW from Volkswagen of Orland Park, from the same salesperson as well (thanks Kamila)! Deal was easy to work, despite the fact I was on vacation in Europe. Each of the three vehicles was just as easy to buy as the first. Up front and honest about the transactions make this dealership a place to return to for me. The staff is inviting and friendly, even if you are working with a different salesperson. We were greeted by a friendly smile who let us know that "Kamila was inside and very excited to see us". Paperwork was fast and the car was perfect. I look forward to more VW purchases at VW of Orland Park.

My Dad and I were shopping for a new car, and came across the one at a different dealer. We could not believe how rude they were and how disrespectful they were at this other dealership. We were beyond excited when we found the same exact one at the Volkswagen of Orland Park. Rich Stephan helped us over the phone and had the car put aside and cleaned so it was ready for our visit and Rich Munoz helped us through the whole process and sealed the deal. These two could not be any nicer and they told us they wanted to earn our business, they knew customer service. Dustin Hill also helped with our trade in and was extremely nice as well. Bottom line, the service was amazing, and these guys knew how to sell cars, professionally, and treat their customers right. I could not be more satisfied with my car and will never forget the great service I experienced when purchasing it. We will NOT be returning to that first dealership, but we will be back to the Volkswagen Orland Park as much as possible, and we will be referring them to everyone we know. Thanks again guys!

The entire experience was amazing from the moment I walked in the door until I drove away in my new Jetta. I was greeted warmly and respectfully. The staff listened to my needs and promptly addressed any questions I had. I have bought many vehicles in the last 18 years. This is the first time that I felt very comfortable with the staff. The process was very smooth from start to finish. It was handled very efficiently. I was introduced to Sabastian who was very knowledgable and asked questions that told me he did not want to just sell me a vehicle, he wanted to get me a vehicle that I needed. Next I meet with Eddie who was warm, charming, efficient and very knowledgable with the paperwork process. He quickly answered any of my new questions about Jetta. I never felt pressured. I felt as if all the staff was there to meet my needs and assist me to get a vehicle that would work best for my lifestyle. I also met with the financial lady who was very organized and explained to me what all the paperwork meant and she really knew what she was doing. She also took time to answer any questions that arose during the process. I can truly say that I will be back to VW of Orland Pak. I will recommend you to many other people. My experience here really changed my view of car buying. Before it was a anxiety causing, nerve racking day but at VW Orland Park I felt like they thought I was a friend or family and their priority was me. This was a terrific experience and I thank you.

The salesperson who helped me was way beyond expectations. She was friendly and I felt cared about and she was very supportive, caring, and kind when they were getting the financing approval. I also liked the first encounters with Ed Bilo who called me after my expressing interest and he wasn't pushy. Danny showed me both the GTI Wolfsburg and Driver's edition and accompanied me on a test drive of the former. He was very knowledgeable of the specs and safety features of the vehicles, which was made more valuable by the fact that he has owned Volkswagens. He went over the cost of the vehicle, discussed discounts, warranty and service options, and gave me valuable information on my approved financing. I would like to compliment the salesman we worked with, Dan Kaminski. We brought our '06 VW Passat in for service. When we found out late in the day how much repairs would be, we began looking at new vehicles. Dan was very thorough in finding all the information we asked for, especially a variety of lease terms. The dealership was also currently offering a deal that paid for repairs. Although we were not planning to purchase a vehicle that day, we felt we could not pass up what was being offered. We decided, after Dan provided us with multiple options, to lease a new vehicle. Everything was taken care of in record time, and Dan showed us how everything worked. He also took care of connecting three cell phones to the car's feature allowing hands-free use. The car was cleaned, filled with gas, and ready to go that very evening. We were very pleased with the time and attention he devoted to us and how quickly everything was completed, license plates included. A positive relationship with this dealership was further cemented that night, thanks to Dan.

We purchased a new Passat in 2012 and loved it. Returned in 2014 and purchased a used Jetta. Kamilla and Sebastian dealt well with us both times - made us feel like VW of Orland is family and really cares. We had an emissions problem with our Passat in 2013, at 40,000 miles and were able to get it fixed here. Unfortunately, it was not covered under our extended warranty but it did not deter us from wanting another VW when we were in need of another car, nor coming back to VW of Orland. When we returned for the second one, we wanted to purchase something cash so Kamilla worked with us to find something that fell into our price range AND was a reliable car. She and Sebastian were MORE than fair with the price and the process of making it a certified used vehicle. Shortly after purchasing the second car, we had a second emissions problem and of course came immediately to Orland VW. This time it was covered by our warranty but would necessitate us paying the $100 deductible. I went to Kamilla and explained our frustration. She totally understood it and went to Sebastian who treated us, again like family. We were able to get our repair done without the expense, which was to our delight. We will continue to use VW of Orland for all of our future car needs and purchases and hopefully be able to continue to work with Kamilla and Sebastian. Thanks for such outstanding service and CARE for us.

Even though I made it clear at the time of my first test drive that I wasn't ready to make a purchase, I felt that Dustin spent plenty of time making sure I was aware of all the options and features of the different VW models. My car was hesitating when starting, sort of sputtering and hesitating. I took it in and they replaced the purge valve. After spending $300.00 the car STILL starts with hesitation and now the check engine light is on. Basically I paid the VW "repair" guys 300 dollars to make the check engine light go on. I will be getting in touch with them today and I certainly hope they make this right.

When we first walked into the showroom Dustin greeted us with a smile. At first I wasn't sure about him, as I am generally a bit leery of car salesman. But that feeling passed quickly. We test drove one car on a Saturday with Dustin. There was another CPO car on the lot that my wife really wanted to test drive but we were on a tight schedule so Dustin held the car until the following Wednesday for us with a small fee (which was refunded of course). On Monday I called Dustin and he had the car (which was also a CPO) cleaned up and readied for a test drive. The nice thing about this test drive was I able to take the car by myself for about 2-3 hours and drive it around to get a feel for it. Often the short 10 minute test drive with the salesman in the car does nothing for me when seeing how much I like the car. We were able to bring the car home, see how it fit in the garage and other little things you don't generally get to do on a standard test drive. After the test drive I took the Passat 2.5 SEL back in...I had almost no intention of buying this car because it was a 2.5 and not a TDI or a V6. We sat down and discussed $. We could get no where near what I would have paid for the car, so I asked Dustin to give me a day to go home and discuss with my wife. The next day I looked online and found the TDI with everything I wanted, I called Dustin and he said he would bring it in and allow me to take a look at it in the shop (as opposed to outside where it was probably right around 0 degrees). When I got in I just wanted to make sure it looked as nice as it did online, it didn't, it actually looked nicer. I had done some research on the value and the history of the car so I knew what I was willing to pay for the car, I told Dustin and we made a deal rather quickly, which was refreshing. When I left with the car that evening the parts/service area was closed and my car had no car mats in it. So I mentioned it to Dustin and he said come back and we will get you new mats. Three days later when I was in the area I stopped in and talked to Sebastian about what happened and in 5 minutes I was out the door with brand new rubber VW mats. I also had an issue with the remote start on the car. So my wife brought the car in and had them take a look at it. She had a very pleasant experience with the Service department. They replaced both batteries on the keys free of charge and they answered the questions my wife had come up with in the past week during her time driving it around. It is very important to us to know that when we bring our car in for service we are treated properly. We have had some issues in the past with other manufacturers service departments treating us like were a pain for asking them for help, not here at this dealership. We have owned our car for a whole 1 week now and I love the car (it handled great in the 55th snow we have had this year) and I am very happy we purchased from this dealership. I hope to keep having the same type of experiences every time we come in for service. If we do , I know where my next car will be purchased from. In the end we were able to get a fully loaded basically brand new 2013 Passat TDI SEL with around 16K for the cost of a new base option model.

My husband and I came in looking for a used minivan and we were lucky enough to be greeted by Kamila Labuda. She was amazing to work with. I never felt like we were with a pushy salesperson, but rather like we were with a friend. It was an easy, fair, and fast deal. My brother purchased a Jetta from this dealer and soon after he did I was in need of a car as well. My brother told me to go see Dustin at the VW dealer in Orland and I'm glad I did. He was very friendly and made us feel comfortable while we were looking at cars and took good care of us. There wasn't a high pressure sales tactic like we experienced at the Ford dealer down the street- it works for some people but it makes me feel uncomfortable. Kamila helped us with setting up a test drive with a Jetta and she was as nice as could be. Ralph helped us with financing and he would answer my questions when I called about my loan- very nice guy. In the end, I would definitely recommend this dealer and the staff I mentioned to any of my friends and family looking to purchase a car.

I am blown away by the wonderful experience I had at Volkswagen of Orland Park. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and hard working. I have been bringing my Passat to this dealer for a few years now for maintenance and a few other things. To say the least it was time for my Passat to go. Not only did Andrew and Sebastian get me into a brand new Jetta, which I am falling in love with, they did not give up on me. I had many obstacles to overcome such as credit,, and value of my previous car. They went above and beyond to make me as comfortable as possible switching from a Passat to a Jetta, and I will forever be thankful to them for listening to my needs and being patient with me through out the entire process. We just came in to look and found everyone we encountered to be very nice and not pushy. Van originally started with us but had another customer who was there first so Rich took over. He was wonderful and answered every question we had. I have to say in 50 some odd years of purchasing cars this is the first time I actually ENJOYED it! After we purchased the car Rich took time to explain everything to us and show us each feature on the car and how it worked, right down to how the trunk opened and even helped us pair the phone with the bluetooth in the car and call CarNet to set that up. I feel that I can call him at any time to ask a question if I have one. I will certainly recommend this dealership and Rich to everyone. By the way - I LOVE my car!!!

Dave knew I was coming in for a new car and knew which one I wanted. It was snowing by the time I got there and the car was pulled inside all ready for me to look at and fall in love with. I was incredibly nervous being a first time buyer/leaser of a new car. I felt very comfortable and was put at ease. He let us print off our insurance card so I can be ready when I finally left. After all the paperwork was done and the keys were in my hands he had the car pulled in front and ready for me. He sat with me for a while making sure my phone was connected to the Bluetooth. Explained every feature in detail so I was ready to know my car the way I'm supposed to. The next day I received a text from him saying that he hoped I was enjoying my new car and to let him know if I had any questions and that my follow up check was in the schedule. A few days later I did have a question and I texted him early in the morning and he immediately responded. Very very impressed with everyone at this dealership.

I've been a customer of Kamilla's for a long time, and have to say that this dealership is the best I've found in the Chicagoland area. I've purchased 5 VWs in Chicagoland over the years so I have some experience. Kamila was very straightforward, as was her sales manager, about the deal and I never felt like there were any gimmicks or games being played. It was a very honest, straightforward discussion. They helped me out of a very tough situation with my trade and I cannot say enough about the customer service. I would advise anyone interested in a VW to give them a call, it was a very pleasant experience and that doesn't generally happen when it comes to car purchases. I will shop here again even though it takes me an hour to get to this location. I recommend that you do as well and ask for Kamilla.

I went to have my car serviced and had no intentions on purchasing a new vehicle. I went upstairs to peek only but there came Drew!!! He was so friendly and personable, plus he didn't hover over me. He just stood a short distance away and waited until he noticed I had some questions for him. The first time I purchased a car from Drew Lanum of Volkswagen of Orland Park was in December of 2010. I was there to purchase a surprise Christmas gift for my wife. I ended up with a 2011 CC and the best experience at car dealership ever. Fast forward to October 30th 2013 and its time for another car. Just like the first time Drew Lanum and the staff Volkswagen of Orland Park rolled out the red carpet. The process was so smooth, and believe it or not, a pleasure. We were so pleased with the service and pricing that we walked out with 2 new cars! Drew took the time to explain everything to us in details and answered all our questions. Drew is very knowledgeable and patient. He took my wife and I out to the inventory lot countless of times to look at different models and color combinations, and at no point did he seem bothered or frustrated with us. I highly recommend Volkswagen of Orland Park. I just purchased a new 2014 VW R-Line CC and I love it. It has great gas mileage and runs smoothly. It has all the latest technology features in the car. I had no intention of stopping at this dealership. I made a left turn a bit early and that's where i met a great group of people. Kamila greeted me and I learned she has the patience for a novice car shopper. She asked questions to really understand my needs and took the time to understand my concerns as I decided between the car I had wanted for more than five years (Nissan Altima) and the car I bought from her. She even got me to test drive two cars as she explained the mechanics of each. A car gets me where I need to go. Kamila and her co-workers at Orland Volkswagen earned my respect and loyalty. She contacted me to check in (over a couple of weeks) as I took time making my decision and was not annoying like some salespeople can be. Her voice messages indicated she cared that I made the right decision for me regardless of the outcome for her. I really liked that! I will tell everyone about my great experience at Orland Volkswagen and I hope Kamila makes hundreds of drivers happy with their car buying decision. All the people I met at this dealership (sales, service, finance and even the owner) made me feel like part of their family. You don't get that kind of welcome in many places anymore.

From the minute I walked through the door, VW of Orland was nothing but helpful. I was unsure what I wanted to purchase, so they let me explore all the availble options and were very flexible with what I was willing to spend. This was literally THE best car buying experience either of us have ever had. Rich was great. I had been shopping for a new volkswagen for the last couple months and had a fair share of unpleasant experiences, to be short. I walked into this place disgruntled and ready for the worst, but was pleasantly surprised by the honest, polite, "no-games" service that welcomed me. Kamila and the staff are extremely fair, level-headed, and very helpful. I found exactly what I wanted without feeling pressured and at a great price. I had my eyes set on a car then I asked for my trade-in appraisal and the sales manager devalued my trade in by over $2500 for a bumper and fender that was replaced a few years ago by a unreported car accident that I was unaware of. The Carfax came back clean, and however they tried to rip me off on there offer . I took it to 3 other places to get appraised and was offered at least $3000 more at each dealer, so they lost my business. And they will continue to rip people off on trade in offers. Was told by the manager that they send there trade in cars elsewhere because they dont want to deal with them. So if just buying a car they maybe fair. But if your trading your car, good luck.

Visited dealer to see new Beetle Convertible to replace my 2004 Convertible. Rich was helpful, energetic and knowledgeable. Long test drive, impressed with features, gave us great trade in value on my Beetle and fair price on new one. Only problem was color choice, but they were able to find EXACTLY what I wanted, sent someone to Naperville to retrieve it immediately and wrapped the deal all within 24 hours. Financing was speedy and easy. I obviously appreciate the VW quality and this dealership, as I returned after 9 years for my new one.

Finally, a dealership that stands behind what it promotes!!!I bought my very first Volkswagen this year on February 28th and had a wonderful experience at this dealership. The staff was extremely polite, not pushy and very knowledgeable. You could tell from the moment you walked in the door that they had it together as a dealership and you would be taken care of in all departments. The sale went very smooth and in a timely fashion and I was on my way in just about an hour.After having the car just a few short days I did have several issues with the car itself, no reflection on the dealership what so ever! A very long story short the issues continued on until July where both the dealership and myself had enough. We both came to a very agreeable arrangement and they swapped the car out and made it right!!! All without having to get nasty and without having to lawyer up. This dealer has incredibly high ratings for a reason, they bend over backwards to help the customer in what is right. I received my new vehicle on July 19th and can honestly say I would recommend this dealer to anyone! I wanted to buy a new Beetle convertible; as I had owned 2 Cabrios & really loved them. We went to two dealerships to compare prices; VW of Orland was our first stop. Rich was very knowledgeable about all the VWs. He was very friendly, gave us his best out the door price, as we asked. We told him we were going to one other dealer, and would be back if they could not match his price. As soon as we left, both my husband and I commented on how great we felt about the way we were treated - no pressure, very respectful of our time. We had brought my Cabrio here for service a couple of years ago, and remembered how good they were. After going to a 2nd dealer, we called Rich & told him we'd be in to write the deal on the Beetle. When we went back (a few days later), he remembered us by name, and walked us through the paperwork with no hassles.I just picked up my Beetle this a.m. When we arrived, the car was ready, and Rich spent about an hour with me to make sure I knew how everything worked. He helped me set my clock, set my radio stations, made sure I had the seats and mirrors adjusted to my liking. He also set up a 30-day check-up time for me to bring in my car & have them make sure everything is working as expected, and that there are no questions. He also said that if I have any questions to just call in or stop by and he or someone else will be happy to help.This was the most pleasant car-buying experience I've ever had! VW has a customer for life in me; and VW of Orland Park is where I will shop, and where I will send my friends & family!

Let me preface this review before I start. First off, I don't usually do reviews on dealers because they are all basically the same. You know what you are going to get, long battles over the over priced sale tags, excuses on what they can't do and the usual back and forth games they play. Secondly, I consider my self a very informed and savy buyer. I do my homework, try to get a good idea of what something is worth and then research more. I've walked away from 3 deals prior to this because it wasn't good enough, I don't settle. Lastly, I'm a very picky buyer. Going outside of state lines is out of my comfort zone. I've been warned by local dealers to "Stay away from Chicago, they aren't required to so anything but wash the car" and I've also heard stories such as places like Auto Barn who offer you "pre-certified" prices and once you get there add on the price for the certification. So if you are reading this, I would suggest you value you this a little more than normal. This will be a little lengthy but I think it's important that it gets read.Now, I am from Milwaukee and I've been looking for a VW Tiguan for my wife for a few weeks ready to pull the trigger on a deal. Unfortunately, I haven't had much success with locating the vehicle within my specs in the Milwaukee market. Given that, my wife and I expanded our search to the Chicago and St. Paul areas. She located a vehicle on the http://www.vworland.com/ site, however the vehicle was new to the site so there only was a generic file photo and very minimal details on the trim level or options. So I called right away Tuesday night and spoke to Eddie he gave me some basic information but told me that the images would be up tomorrow morning , the vehicle just came in. Wednesday came, still no images, so I emailed Eddie. Turns out he was off work on Wednesday and off for the July 4th holiday, but on Wednesday he called me and actually went in to send me photos. I was then passed off to work with Dave Thompson. Dave was great, he sent me even more photos to show my wife while we tried to decide if we should make the 2 hour trip to see the vehicle later that night. Dave and I were in constant contact all day Wednesday, talking about condition, negotiating price and trade in value, never once did it feel like I was wasting his time given how far I was away. Like I mentioned before, I'm very picky and Dave assured me the car was in really really nice shape. Dave worked as a true professional the entire day and I trusted his judgement. Fortunately, after some back and forth, we came to a fair agreement on price that would lure me down there to actually test drive and see the vehicle first hand. So I left work Wednesday afternoon, packed up the family and we took the road trip down to Orland Park. With no knowledge of the time of our arrival, Dave was at the door waiting for us figuring how who we were as soon as we pulled up. We were immediately taken to the back of the facility where the vehicle was waiting for us. My wife hopped in and I gave the car a good once over. I was expecting little things here and there but Dave was definitely true to his word. The vehicle was pristine and surpassed my expectations. I was really happy that Dave was upfront with me and I didn't have any surprises. Also one thing that I wanted to point out, what I found very attractive is that this dealership seems to price their vehicles priced right. In my search for a Tiguan I was finding that most dealers were asking somewhere between $4K-$6K over book value whereas Orland Park VW seemed to have their Tiguan aggressively priced to sell. In my case they were already within $2K of what I though value was. So as a buyer, I liked they weren't inflating their asking price to come down to make it appear I was getting a deal. After the test drive we decided we'd take it. Paperwork was quick given we did majority of the talk over the phone during the day. Dave was a class act, personable, informative and just great to deal with. After we wrapped up with Dave we spoke to Steve while the paperwork was with Joe. Steve was awesome as well, very personable and willing to help in anyway he could. Ended up talking about vacationing with him in Door County, WI - small world stuff.While my wife and I were dealing with the final leg of the purchase with Joe, Dave moonlighted as a babysitter for our 3 year old. Honestly, I wouldn't of expected any of this service from a dealership. As facility closed for the night, we were still going through the paperwork with Joe, Dave offered to take my 3 year old out on the patio so she could view the 3rd of July fireworks. When we finished up our paperwork, an hour past closing, I walked outside to see Dave and Steve entertaining my daughter with the fireworks in the distance. So you get the idea, out of this world service. I will say that this was the best buying experience we've ever had. My wife and I couldn't stop saying how impressed we were with everything start to finish. This is how car buying should be. In the future we would make the drive again to work with this group. The whole experience was low pressure, very comfortable and left us feeling very satisfied with our Tiguan purchase. Big thanks to Dave, Steve, Eddie and Joe. 5 Stars.

I was looking for a new car and knew I wanted a Volkswagon but wasn't sure which one I wanted or if I wanted to buy new or used. I called the dealership and spoke with Eddie . He couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I made an apt to go in and test drive a few cars. When I arrived Eddie was there to greet me. He had a salesperson waiting for me (Kamila) who again couldn't have been nicer. Since I was undecided as to what style or if I wanted new or used, Kamila took her time and showed me all the cars I was interested in. We test drove a few cars. She never pressured me for the sale. She educated me on the different styles of cars and the difference of buying new or used. She was very patient with my indecisiveness and made sure I knew all aspects of the car buying experience. Her goal was to make sure I chose the right car for me. I chose the Passat and she showed me everything in the car and how to use it. The entire dealership was a pleasure to work with from the sales person to the finance guy. I never once felt pressured to buy my car. I got a great price and awesome financing. The whole experience was positive from start to finish. I highly recommend Volkswagon of OrlandPark if you are in the market for a new or used car.

I wanted to see the Passat TDI. Sales consultant Firas Al-Qahef met me as I was walking in with a smile. Told him I was out test driving only and did not want to talk money. He took myself and my wife out for a test driver and was very knowledgeable of the vehicle. He respected my wishes and never brought up money. At other competitors they try to get you to talk to all these other staff members and try to pressure you to buy that day, which is a real turn off. I felt very comfortable and really appreciated the no pressure experience. I will recommend him to family and friends.

I had a great experience buying my new Volkswagen CC (R-line) at the Orland Park Volkswagen dealership. Drew and Eddie were very easy to work with and helpful with my selection of my new car at a great price. They were not pushy and gave me all the information I needed to make the right informed decision. I recently went looking at the new 2013 Volkswagen Beetle at VW of Orland Park. I was met at the door by my sales person, Kamila Labuda. She greeted my mother and myself with a warm welcome. I told her the specific car that I wanted and she quickly brought it around for me to look at. After speaking with her I let her know that I would need to think about buying. Once I concluded that I was satisfied with the numbers we talked about earlier, I called Kamila and let her know that I wanted the car, but was unable to get a ride back to the dealership. Without a moments thought, she offered to get me from my home in Chicago. The car looked great! Kamila helped me understand the inter workings of the car including bluetooth and the navigation system. Management walked me through the contract process and answered any questions I had. The facilities and atmosphere were pleasant and made the time fly by quickly. My first time car experience was one I will never forget. Don't walk, run! I took my car into the dealership to see Dan Wurzer (GREAT service rep who helps me often) and was waiting upstairs for an answer from my extended warranty company on my 2006 Passat. Kamila approached me about the new body styled Passat and brought up some concerns that I truly had with my current vehicle. More room, premium gas, and electrical issues plagued my first VW purchase so I was hesitant on getting into another VW. I must say that after a conversation, then a commercial...I gave Kamila a call. She was very pleasant, respectful and actually LISTENS to her customers. I came in for a test drive after working out with absolutely no intention of purchasing a new vehicle. Well after talking to Kamila, she addressed my concerns from the previous conversation in the wait area a week earlier. I found myself leasing a sports utility cross over vehicle a 2013 VW Tiguan at a reasonable price for 3 years. I am so happy that I completed this process with Kamila. She was an awesome person who didn't force a vehicle down my throat...her original idea was not what I picked and she was very supportive of my decision. I truly enjoyed the experience. It was timely (in and out within three hours....from test drive to signing the papers to driving off the lot) and honest. You can't say that about all dealerships because I travel over 20 miles to go to Orland for the service. I can't recommend anyone better than Kamila Labuda for your next vehicle purchase. She was phenomenal and follows up to make sure I'm satisfied weeks later!

Stopped by the dealership on Saturday 2/17/13, just to browse. My fiance is interested in a new VW CC. My eyes caught a new VW EOS convertible on the showroom floor. while she was looking the CC I walked over to sit in the convertible. A very pleasant slesperson approached me and we started to talk. I thought he comes the full court new sales car press. Boy, was I wrong!Kamila Labuda, proved to be one of the best low key and informative new car salespeople that I have ever met. I told her of my intentions, that I was just browsing and she respected that. However, we kept talking about the VW EOS all the time. My fiance, joined us and before you knew it we were in a full fledge somewhat serious discussion about the possibility of buying a new vehicle. I left the dealership with a new found knowledge of the EOS and a great feeling about VW of Orland and Kamila.Over the weekend, I came to conclusion that I would like to purchase this vehicle. I contacted Kamila, via email and told her of my intentions. Once again, her attitude, responsiveness and demeanor to my emails was SUPERIOR! She got back to me with all the points that I presented to her and had solid and defintive ideas how how we should proceed. The emails lasted for another day or so and finally on Tuesday 2/19 /13 we struck a deal. On Thursday, 2/21/13, Kamila picked me up at my home and took me to the dealership to complete the transaction. At that time, the dealership had everything ready. Financing and the business side of the deal took only 10 minutes at tops. Kamila, spent another 30 minutes showing me the mechanical and technological features of my new car. The car was presented to me in a clean and quite environment, a full tank of gas and a very good feeling about the overall experience of the new car purchase.In the future, I would highly recommend Kamila Labuda, and her dealership. I had been doing some serious car shopping for over a month. I was headed west on 159th street considering which dealership to stop at first and was stopped by a train. Orland Park VW was right there and I saw the car that fit first my color and roof. I stuck my face to the window sticker and went in with no appointment to seek more info on my now 2010 Tiquan. I had done the same thing so many times elsewhere and was totally ignored. Salespersons were busy and the genetleman at the reception desk asked the finance person to assist me until a sales person was free. He did not hesistate to walk out in the cold with me and brought the car up in front of the dealership and I was able to sit in the SUV until a salesperson was free.I did the same thing at "Autobarn" in Hillside was ignored both times. Most dealerships will not even let you sit in their cars until they know how much you can afford. This is one of the reasons I had so many dings on my credit profile by the time VW took a look at it. Rich, my salesperson kept offering me water and checking on my while I took a seat and kept looking out of the window at the SUV that I sure was perfect for me. The Orland Park staff made a very hard deal comfortable to me that others would not touch before getting my first born child. The staff listened to my needs and did not focus on my shortcomings. I cam in to have an oil change and a headlight fixed on my 2008 VW Passat. I went upstairs to the sales department to see the new 2013 vehicles and fell in love with a 2013 VW CC. I spoke with Drew Lanum who offered a lease program to me. Something I had never done before. I am very glad I did it and I am so pleased with my new VW CC. I get so many compliments on my car and it really fits the type of person I am.

I went in to pick up my 2004 VW Beetle from being serviced, and ended up walking out with a 2012 Beetle, thanks to the great service I received from Kamila Labuda. Went in expecting the usual treatment you come to expect from a car dealership. That notion was dispelled within 20 seconds after walking inside. I could immediately tell that it was a different environment than I was used to. A very clean showroom coupled with the fact that the consultants were all wearing uniformed shirts certainly made for a great initial first impression. I was greeted by Eddie B. who introduced me to my sales consultant, Eric. It was all positive after that. They worked with me on getting me a price I could work with on both my trade and the car I was interested in. Continual effort was made to ensure that I was taken care of, including bringing me water. I worked with several nice, charismatic, and honest members of the VW of Orland Park team. It was truly my first 'positive' experience in 20 years of purchasing cars. In short, anyone looking to avoid the pressure, uncomfortable feeling, and gimmicks used in most dealerships, this is your place. I would recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a used car or new car.

My local dealer didn't want to try to find a 2012 Tiguan for me...But VW of Orland Park was more than willing to work with me. Let's begin:Eddie, the Internet sales manager called me back immediately. Was quick, polite, and knowledgeable over the phone. He gets me the car I want at a fair price with no hassle. Hands me off to Kamila Labuda to take care of me when I come in. Kamila was great. Car was in perfect, deliverable condition when I showed up. She knew the car very well, and gave a great presentation on the features of the car so we would know how to use them.Joe, the business manager was easy to deal with. Again, zero hassle on fair pricing. Zero complaints...and after this purchase (our first VW), I can safely say with this crew here I'll return for my next car.

Wow! To date, I've purchased more than 7 cars in my lifetime from dealers .. and easily my experience at Volkswagen at Orland Park far exceeds that of all the others! Every step of the process was such a joy - from the immediate and friendly response from Eddie after an online inquiry at cars.com, to the personal email and follow-up by the General Manager Bruce and the warm welcome and huge smile by Kamila when I stepped out of my car at the dealership. Even negotiating at Orland Park VW was so different - no sneaky sales gimmicks, and the discussions were open and honest and never felt pressured or guilted. Kamila's friendliness and openness made the process very enjoyable, and it was clear that every employee at VW Orland Park were genuinely interested in serving the customer and not just in "making the sale". After getting a very good price for my trade-in *and* negotiating the very fair starting price of the car down even further, it just blew my mind that at the very end I was given a free set of floor mats which I know was the effort and attention to detail from Kamila as I had inquired about these earlier in the day. In less than 12 hours from seeing the car online, I was driving off with a huge smile on my face. I accomplished most of the negotiations over the phone with Bruce Phillips. This occurred over a week before I even made it to the dealership. He was very diligent, kind, and attentive to the deal I wanted. He gave me a good competitive price and a great value for my trade.Once I made it to the dealership, I was greeted by Sebastian and Dave who were very nice. Then immediately offered me a water and got down to business quickly. After a slight hiccup with the insurance, everything was ready. They washed the vehicle very well, did not drill the license plate bracket, and Dave showed me some of the awesome features of the GTI. I would highly recommend this dealership, they are professional, courteous, and to-the-point.

I was recently put into the position of finding a new car due to an accident. Car buying, like I suppose many people feel, is not on my list of favorite things to do. After a long day of dealer hopping in Orland Park we came into VW of Orland...while I wish it was our first stop instead of last, I am glad that we got to compare the others against VW. Wow - these guys were/are great. Our salesman Dave Thompson was outstanding! You know when a person is genuine - as opposed to schmoozing - and Dave is a genuine honest guy. We couldn't be more pleased. In the past I have memories of a good experience going bad when you hit the Finance Department...so I was kind of prepared for that to happen again. On the contrary, again a very pleasant (and surprising) experience dealing with Steve Paulson the Finance Manager. There was no pressure when we declined certain coverages and I felt a real sense of truth when we were informed (not sold) about other protection packaged...Steve was able to articulate the real value in purchasing a certain package. Eric was a pleasure to work with. Originally, the dealership did not have the car I wanted. However, he was able to acquire the Jetta I was looking for within a few days. He answered all my questions about payments and transferring license plates and made sure I was not waiting around for hours. I leased a new CC, went back the next day and told them that with my height (6'4) I felt more comfortable in a Beetle. Even though I made the decision to lease the CC and went back the next day to tell them I wanted something else they were patient and nice enough to work with my needs. I gave the rating that I did, because from day one they were always very attentive to me and my needs and requests. I ordered my car back on Jan. 20, 2012, I knew it would take a few months but they were very up front saying that my car may take as long as May to get here. I had a couple requests of the them during this period and they more than met with my requests. The Sales rep I worked with was helpful from the first moment I walked in actually to look at a different model and once I saw that the Golf R was available I knew that was the car I wanted. The delivery of the car went smooth and painless, the staff explained every step and gave me a thorough going through of the things on this car. I went to this dealer because I knew a couple people that had bought through them and they said they were a good group of people.

We went out on a Saturday to start LOOKING for a new car. We were going to go down the "strip" and check out various dealerships. VW of Orland was our second stop & we never went further. Not knowing what to expected for everyone says that dealers are sharks and eager to sell you whatever. I like how i didn't feel pressured to make a decision i wasn't ready for and to my surprise I drove away with a car that day. The service that I received was great! They took time to thoroughly show me all of the features and specifications. They anwsered all of my questions and were very patience with me. I had a a very positive buying experience with VW of Orland Park and salesperson Kamila Labuda. When I first came to the dealership, I really didn't know what I wanted. I was not pressured, I test drove the vehicles I wanted and my questions were answered and Kamila was very patient and respectful. Days after my visitShesent welcomed me back to the dealership by a handwritten notecard, not an email. I asked for a quote from another VW dealer and the salesperson misrepresented the purchase price of the vehicle just to get me in the dealership, but I walked out when he told me he could not deliver on the verbal quote. Another dealer ran my credit and said that the best financing he could get for me through the bank was 4%, walked out on them too. I ultimately returned to VW of Orland Park, got the financing and the car that I wanted and would highly recommend Kamila Labuda of VW of Orland Park for her knowledge, courtesy and patience to any future VW customers.

My recent purchase at the VW dealer in Orland Park was the best car buying experience i ever had. I walked through the door and my saleswoman, Kamilah , was right on point. I had an ideda of what i wanted and she was right there running around and hustleing to get me the best possible deal. There was no pressure, i came in offered a 4.9 APR and walked out with a 0 APR, i came in looking at a 2011 CC Sport and walked out with a 2012 CC Fully Loaded thanks to the sales manager Sebastian. While we waited for them to get the paperwork together my saleswoman Kamila treated me to lunch. It made my car buying experience a little more personal because we got to conversate with eachother as apposed to being me being sold. I left out of the dealer truly satisfied, excited and fully informed about the vehicle i purchased. I will definitely make as many referrals as i possibly can. Kamila Labuda was real, cool, funny, and she worked her a#s off to get me the car i was most happy with. When i smiled, she smiled bigger....it was the first time i EVER bought a car and was so happy with my purchase and felt such a fondness and connection with a car dealer. Kamilah rocks!!! So if you go to the VW in Orland Park, ask for Kamilah Labuda....

After a lot of research I decided on a Volkswagen but couldn't decide on a model. Kamila walked me through the 3 models I liked and I got to test drive all 3. On my final test drive I fell in love with the 2012 Jetta GLI. Without the patience and guidance of the staff at VW of Orland Park I would still be driving a clunker. I drove my vehicle into the dealership for service due to my temperature light indicating the temp was high. Again, I state I drove my vehicle in which ran perfectly fine other than the indication of the temp being high. I was told by the service writer it was probably the thermostat or the water-pump. He also said that it could be the thermo sensing switch. The service writer also indicated that more than likely I was going to have all that done, I may as well do the timing belts as well. At that time I was given an estimate around $1300.00 I asked are you sure that's what the problem is and he said they would do a diagnostic and let me know the results. He said this would cost $99 and if I had the work done it would be applied towards the total bill. This all occurred on a Friday evening of Memorial Day weekend. Next the service technician says that since the temp was high, there could be a number of other things wrong as well. I asked how can we be sure. He said he'd go over the car and have answers for me and have the car ready by the next day, Saturday. I'm thinking, really that quickly? A friend drove me home and I awaited their call the next day. The dealership service dept. opens at 7am on Saturday so I called around 9:30am. I spoke with a different service writer who indicated that my car would not be ready and I told him, that's not what I was told yesterday. I got a ride to the dealership to see what was going on. I spoke with the tech working on my car and he indicated he started on the car and pulled the cylinder head off, but didn't get to finish his diagnosis because he had to work on other cars. He said he'd have to put everything back together to do the testing on the cylinder head because the engine needed to be warm to perform the test. The following Tuesday, I was told the cylinder head was bad and I'd need another one and the price for all the work would be $4,600.00. I told them I didn't have that type of money and I'd just pick the car up. This time the service writer tells my all right it's going to be $289 for the diagnosis. I told him that's not what he told me before. We went back and forth and finally he said just come get the car. I arrive to pick up my car and they hand me the service report saying they never drove the car, they never started the car and I should have it towed. In addition to this they parked all the way at the end of the parking lot as far away from the building as possible. I'm thinking where is all this coming from, how are they able to perform the necessary test without driving or starting the car. I go out start the car and it's making terrible sounds and running rough. I got down the street from the dealership and the car stopped. I had the car towed home. I then had the car towed to another dealership and told them of the initial problems and how the car ran after I picked it up from the dealership. They did a diagnosis and opened the engine up and showed me the damage that had been done to the pistons due to a foreign object being placed in the cylinders and when I started the car major damage was done. The service tech said judging by the perfect round size of each mark on the pistons that it seemed like ball bearings were placed in the cylinders. He said when the car was started, the ball bearings were sucked into the cylinders and when the pistons moved up and down, whamo! I immediately contacted the other dealership and they denied sabotaging my engine. I have pictures of the torn apart engine as well as pictures of the pistons. Ive been in constant contact with VW Orland Park (Service Mgr. Ed and Dealership Owner Joe) with no success of resolving this issue. My car started fine, drove fine when I took it to Orland Park Volkswagen and should have been the same when I got it back if I didn't receive service. This dealership is not fit to work on cars if they take no responsibility for their actions. I would expect more from true professionals.

My plan last Friday was to walk into the dealership to simply get a couple of booklets, a business card, and return at a later date. However, when I stepped inside Volkswagen of Orland Park EVERYTHING changed in an instant! The environment was so calm and relaxing that for a moment I completely forgot I was in a dealership. After taking a test drive and speaking with RICH STEPHAN and Sebastian I was ready to make a purchase! It was just that simple because there was absolutely no hassle; they were EXTREMELY professional, personable, helpful, and knowledgeable. From the beginning to the end of the process, the staff at the dealership was professional, friendly, honest and prompt. The price I was quoted was what I ended up with and there were no surprises along the way. The staff was very patient answering my questions and very knowledgeable about the features of the car and differences between models. I drove over four hundred miles to get my our new Jetta wagon. It took three emails and no phone calls to make the car deal. After the deal was made Joe called and we made arrangements to pick up our new car. Rich picked me up at the train station I was in and out of the dealership in no time. I saved over two thousand dollars by going to see these guys. That was just on the car. My local dealer wanted to charge me two thousand dollars more then Joe! After my train trip and gas, I ended up saving a total of eighteen hundred dollars on this car compared to buying it local. I already had my financing arranged before I arrived, Joe asked what rate I had and then told me he could do better. HE DID! After excepting Joe's offer to get me better financing I ended up saving a total of four thousand dollars on the financing. That is a grand total of six thousand dollars I saved by going to see these guy's! This all happened while our local area was running commercials for shopping local. It was a big campaign here in our area. We tried to by this car/financing local but as you can see our local people only had one thing on there mind, taking advantage of us. I would highly recommend doing business with VW of Orland Park. Ask for Rich or Joe

To give you a little background, approximately 20 years ago I had a horrible experience with a dealership and was not looking forward to hunting for a new car and dread the thought of having to deal with a car salesman again but Rich Munoz changed my opinion about car salesmen & dealerships.When I arrived at Volkswagen of Orland Park Rich Munoz was very nice and not at all pushy, which was very important to me. He was patient, attentive and he took time to answered all my questions. I never felt pressured, pushed or rushed to make a decision. I also like the fact that he did not hound me with numerous calls like I have experienced with other dealerships. Found them through car.com. Was lookinf for a Beetle, and they had what I was loking for. At first they talked about meeting me half way on the 350 mile drive, then it turned to asking me to come in and they would give me a 200 gas card for my trouble. When I was ther the 200 turned to 100 and they conviently had none there that day. Never recieved it in the mail as promised. repeated attempts to contact have failed.

As a recent college graduate and first time car buyer, many dealerships would not work with my because of my lack of credit history. Its not like I had bad credit, but I just did not have any credit at all. Volkswagen of Orland Park welcomed me onto their car lot and explained there college graduate program that allowed me to purchase a brand new Jetta TDI. The sales staff was very helpful in laying out all of my options, and also helping me stay within my budget. They took their time going over the contracts and making sure everything was filled out right. Volkswagen of Orland Park is great people, great service, and great cars.

Absolutely the best service I have encountered in a dealership, and I Highly recommend anyone who is skeptical of the integrity of car service shops to bring their vehicle to Orland Park.Like many people, I have serious reservations about bringing in a vehicle to be fixed. Poor experiences in the past at other service shops and dealerships have left me uneasy, unsatisfied, and occasionally upset. Upon the strong urging of a friend, I brought my VW Passat into Orland Park Volkswagen. It did not take long to realize that this service department was unlike any I have ever been to before. The employees were very friendly, knowledgeable, and most important to me, they were honest. The service manager, Ed, went out of his way to make sure I understood the issues my Passat was having and how his team will resolve them. He was genuinely concerned with my car and my satisfaction with the service. I could not be happier with the experience and I will only use Orland Park for any issues my car encounters in the future.

Took my daughter's Beetle in for over-heating, fix the water pump, timing belt and thermostat. Picked up car, on the way home that evening temp light came back on. Checked fluids and found reserve empty. Called next day, they said it could have been and air pocket if nothing is leaking, fill it and keep an eye on it as you drive it. The next day it completely over-heated, team bellowing out, towed it in and they said it was engine damage due to over-heating (da!). The owner was very rude and wanted nothing to do with the possible over site. In litagation with BBB and States Att. The service department has had several of these complaints in past see reviews. The owner does not care about you once the sale is made beware other dealers want you will help, Joe will not!

Took my daughter's Beetle in for over-heating, they replaced water pump, timing belt and thermostat ($1300-very expensive compared to other dealerships). They said it was fixed, on way home the temp light goes on. Checked fluids, it was empty, filled it and checked for leaks-none. Called them they said it could have had air pocket form when they filled it. They said keep an eye on it when driving it. Daughter drove it to work, it over-heated with steam everywhere! I towed it in and they said it caused extensive engine damage and want another $2000 to fix! I said wait I just had it in for this and now the engine is damaged. Owner Joe Hoobyar now wants nothing to do with this possible over site. He was very rude and did not care that now it is now with the Better Business B. and States Attny.

This was my first car purchase, and I was absolutely dreading going to a dealer. However, VW of Orland Park provided the best car buying experience I could have hoped for. Everyone was great, from the salesman, Drew, to the finance guy, Sebastian. They were extremely friendly and very low-pressure. In fact, the whole atmosphere at the dealership seemed very relaxed. They worked with me to get the exact car I wanted for the price I could afford. I visited a couple of dealerships before this one, and I am so glad I did not end up buying from another dealer! I took my car in for an oil change and they did something to trigger my engine light, then they told me I needed a thermostat and it cost me $1100 and the light came on again, only for me to learn that it was never the thermostat which I told them to give me the old one when they replaced the new one and they said they forgot and threw it out, they are not to be trusted, scam artists at best, do not take your car here or you'll be sorry, Ed and Sean are shysters,

Drew and the rest of the sales team were the complete opposite of the stereotypical car salesmen. Excellent, very easy to work with. Did loan qualification online, and went in and picked up my Jetta TDI! Could not have been easier or more pleased!!! Everyone was excellent from the finance office, to Rich in sales. The VW Jetta wagen TDI is the only way to go especially with the price of gas no-adays!

We have used Eric last year when we purchased a Passat for my wife and he made the car buying expertise delightful. I usually dread buying a car because of the salesmen. Eric and all his fellow Orland VW sales people are not like the usual salesmen they are there to answer questions, guide you thru buying a new vehicle, are professional and very respectful. When I arrived at the dealer Eric was busy with another customer. I waited an hour because Eric is so enjoyable to deal with in the past and I was NOT disappointed.

Everyone was very friendly from the first moment when I stepped into the dealership until I left. The salesman was very informative, helpful and answered any questions that I have in an informative manner. I never felt rushed. This was the fastest I ever bought a car in my life. I would reccomend VW of Orland to anyone looking to purchase a new car. The staff was very professional & easy to deal with from the time I walked in the door till the time I drove away in my new Routon. Chris from internet sales very helpful-dealership not closest to our home, but were most willing to get what we were looking for. Once at the dealership Drew was great with helping and making sure we were satisfied. Everyone there is great to work with, and never gave up on finding me the black-on-black Jetta TDI that I wanted. It took roughly three weeks to finally get me the car I wanted, but they went all the way to Wisconsin to do it. It was also super easy to negotiate with them, and they gave me a price that Autobarn in Countryside couldn't match.

I had decided to purchase my wife a new 2011 Volkswagen CC for Christmas. I chose Volkswagen of Orland Park because it was close to where I live. Best new car purchase experience ever! My sales person Drew Lanum was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. From the moment I stepped out of my car Drew made me feel as if I had already purchased a car from him. He was very easy going and most important, not pushy! Drew went above and beyond to make sure that my gift to my wife would be perfect, it was. The exact car color/interior color I wanted was not available, but on Christmas Eve Drew drove several hours in horrible weather to pick up exactly what I needed from a different dealer. Drew Lanum was the saleman who worked with us on the purchase of our 2011 Tiguan. It was a very pleasant experience! He listened attentively to our wants and needs in a new car and did his best to address them. Throughout our financial negotiations for the new car and the two cars which we were trading in, he worked the numbers and checked repeatedly with the finance and sales managers, to meet our expectations on the deal. Because of all of the features we wanted on the Tiquan, there was not one available in this area. Our Tiquan was shipped from Germany, and therefore, was not available for almost three weeks. During that time, Drew continually updated us on the delivery status, and the car was available when promised. Drew thoroughly explained and demonstrated many features of our Tiquan, and told us to call or come in to the dealership if we needed more assistance. I would recommend Drew to any one considering the purchase of a Volkswagen!

Overall I think this dealership deserves a high rating for friendliness and informative sales protocol. Also, there was NO pressure to buy now; I didn't feel that I was being sucked into the old "the deal's only good for today" routine and fast talk when negotiating the price. Even though it took almost a week for transferred money to get to me, the dealership held the car for me with a retainer. Working with a salesperson who treats customers with respect and pays attention to what "I need", not what he wants to sell, makes for a comfortable buying experience.I had walked out to two dealers earlier in the week, mainly because of loud, pushy, sales people. Rich Munoz was an excellent ambassador for VW of Orland, I actually enjoyed buying my VW here.

Everyone we dealt with at the dealership was friendly and inviting. Chris had the cars I requested waiting for me upon arrival and made sure that the final monthly payment was within my reach. After doing lots of on-line homework about the Volkswagen Jetta and Passat, I identified three prospective Volkswagen dealerships in the Chicago land area. Following a less than memorable experience with the first two dealerships, I found my way to Volkswagen of Orland Park on Friday, November 5th. Admittedly, I had hoped to find a place closer to home given that Volkswagen of Orland Park was just over 29-miles from my home, but as I soon discovered some things are very much worth the time.From the moment I drove up to the dealership, I was impressed with the quality and array of Volkswagen models, how the automobiles were displayed and the overall cleanliness of the dealership. However, it didnt stop there and in fact continued to get even better when Joe Embro (Sales and Leasing Consultant) introduced himself. I listened carefully as Joe provided expert insight and invaluable information regarding three particular automobiles that had caught my attention. I listened as Joe shared his, as well as Volkswagens philosophy of taking as much pride in providing customer service as they put into building and crafting cars. Joe made it clear that he was there to assist and answer my questions without pressuring me in anyway. Based on my previous two experiences at other area Volkswagen dealerships, I fully expected to see a clear disconnect between his words and actions. To my surprise, Joe not only lived up to his commitment, he walked the talk and exceeded each of my expectations.I will share that I went to Volkswagen of Orland Park that day with the intention of gathering information and to make a purchase only if it was right. As it tuned out it was right in everyway! Joe was simply not trying to make a sell, he was helping to educate, inform and guide. I can attest that I never respond well to pressure, coercion or to being strong armed into making a decision. It has been a while since we purchased a car. The experience has not always been positive. This one definitely was! We saw the car I wanted on a Sunday, called the next day to ask the price. It was higher than we wanted to pay for a used, second car so that ended the call. A salesman called the next day to see what numbers we were thinking of, told us to come in and perhaps come to an agreement. We did, were treated with respect (something lacking in today's view of "customer service") and came to an agreement which pleased us and, I hope, them. I drove off with the red Jetta I wanted and am delighted with it and all the people we encountered at Volkswagen of Orland Park.

The experience was very pleasent. There was no pressure and the work force was very knowledgable. This was the only Volkswagon dealership that was very willing to order a car from the factory, all the others try to sell a car that is on a lot somewhere that is close to what you want. I talked to the service department before I bought about issues they had seen with the Tiguan and felt they gave honest answers.

I orginally came in for an oil change and walked out with a new car! VW of Orland is GREAT!! Syed, the sales consultant was really awesome to work with. I seriously recommend everybody to request Syed as their sales specialist. He is just really laid back and there's no pressure or gimmicks from him. He is upfront with each car and its features by showing you all the package options and price points, as well as explaining the various differences in each package option and its price. I really enjoyed my time at the dealership, which is more than what I can say about my experience in the past with other dealerships. -I really can't say enough good things about Syed. He was just so great and honest! Yes, I know...I said honest. However, it's the truth. He was very upfront about my car buying process by updating on each step of the process, so I wasn't left in the dark and/or clueless. VW is one of the only dealership where one can ACTUALLY sit in an office and disuss car buying...unlike, any other car dealership I have been to. VW of Orland is just a private, nice, and refreshing setting for car shopping. I love VW of Orland to the point where i am seriously looking forward to my oil chnage....just so I have an excuse to stop in. I love my Passat!!!! I NEVER have to turn on of off my lights or windshield wipers. It has auto windshield wipers and lights with beautiful, jaw-dropping LED tail-lights and BLUETOOTH!!!! Camry has nothing on the Passat!!!!! VW has the hottest cars with the most impressive options!!! If you want a car that you can be proud of, then shop VW!!!!! Love you VW. Keep on doing it right!

I found a Yukon on cars.com that Orland Park VW had taken in on trade. I had been looking for one for about a month and my wife and I decided we were going to dedicate a day or two and finish the shopping process. I live in Indy and was working with a number of dealerships in the Indianapolis area. I called Eric on Monday morning and he did a lot of leg work, including answering all my questions on the Yukon, working with his group to get me the price I wanted and working on my trade in. A few hours after the process started, my wife and I recognized that Eric was working his butt off for us. We took a vehicle for a test drive in Indy, got out, and decided to head to Orland Park, about a 3 hour drive. When we arrive, Eric greeted us and provided the service and expertise that he had been providing all day over the phone. The Yukon was in the final phase of being detailed when we arrived. We took it for a test drive, went inside, made the deal and arrived back in Indy around 10:00 with our new vehicle.I want to thank Eric and the whole team at Orland Park VW for working with us and putting this together so quick. We bought a new Jetta TDI and the experience was low key and wonderful. No high pressure and products that sell themselves! If you do not know anything about the products Syed will take the time to walk you through the features. I had researched the vehicle for sometime (used to be a car nut). My wife was a different story. She had no idea about the car and Syed taught her everything about it. Funny part is my wife is the one who said to me "Are you ready to take this to next level and buy it?" This car is a fuel miser, comfortable, quiet and quick when you want it be. Overall, this was just the most hassle-free experience I have had when buying a car. First, being able to locate the car I wanted through the dealership's website saved me a lot of time. Within a few minutes of notifying the dealership of my interest via e-mail, I heard back from their manager of internet sales, Tom Sellars (sales may be slow, but still it is nice to know your business is welcome). About a week later, I arranged to visit the dealership, and the car was ready for me to test drive when I arrived. Everything from there on was easy, pleasant, painless, no pressure to buy anything else, etc. And the car, a TDI Jetta Wagon, is wonderful - I hope to keep it for a long time.

Tom Sellars was the salesman that worked with me on the purchase of a 2010 Passat. I needed to have service done on my company leased 2008 Passat Wagon & I also needed to buy a new vehicle for the same company. I leased my 2008 from VW Matteson which is now closed. Since then I've had work done at Mike Haggerty VW in Oak Lawn. When I called to see if I could get service done at Haggerty that same afternoon, I was told that all Service Reps were with customers and that they would call me back. I figured that was fair. I waited about 30 mins and no call back so I called VW Orland where I was told I could bring my 2008 in for service but I would be in and out faster if I came after 130p b/c all the techs would be back from lunch at that time. When I told her I appreciated the heads up, I said I was going to buy a car that day also - she got a saleman immediately. I was on hold for a little bit but Tom was very helpful over the phone and in person and went the extra distance by getting me a great price on the 2010 Passat Sedan. I would also like to say that while Tom was out of the office taking care of the paperwork for the purchase the other Internet Sales/email person (failed to get her name) was very cordial. It was probably the easiest sale for all involved, at least that day. I was able to handle the sale in the time it took for the 40,000 mile service on my 2008 wagon. So, everything seemed to work out well.FYI - I did get a call back from Haggerty's service department about the time I was pulling into VW Orland (an hour or more later.) The only thing I would suggest is changing the 'internet office' to one that isn't so hot!

Review for a 2010 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI:This is clearly the best dealership that is in the midwest. This is my second VW I have purchased from VW of Orland. They are a phenomenal dealership from Start to Service. The Sales force is knowledgeable and very accommodating.My wife and I actually just went into get her 07 Rabbit serviced, and we wanted to take some test drives on a couple of Vehicles. We weren't looking to purchase the a vehicle, but we ended up purchasing one anyway, because it was the right time to do so.This is our third VW overall, we are so happy with the brand. it has a certain amount of luxury that can't be matched overall for the money. When you break down dollar for dollar all that you get with a VW all cars are about the same money, but there is one big difference...VW's are clearly at the top. 46mpg at 74mph overall in good driving conditions cannot be beat by anyone. It's also absolutely amazing that you can drive all around downtown Chicago with stop and go driving for 2.5 hours, driving aggressive and still be at 29.7mpg.TDI engines are the truth in Auto's. No one else has this great of a Diesel for the same money. A slogan VW should use for there TDI's should be No Batteries Needed. Those are real mileages and the motor is no where near broken in. Once it does, its over for everyone else.These are clearly the vehicles for the road in the Midwest, great in inclement weather great in accidents. I recently purchased a new GTI from VW of Orland. Everyone was very friendly and helpful without being pushy. My trade-in value was fair. I am thrilled with the new car and would definitely recommend this dealer. I did have to wait awhile for my paperwork to be processed, but everything else was handled quickly and smoothly.

I love this place, everybody is so helpful and nice. Vic has been especially patient with me being very picky. He knew what I was looking for and called me anytime that model of car would come in. I have now bought three cars from this Volkswagen dealership and would recomend them to anyone. I went in just to look at used cars and left with a new car that I absolutely love. They helped make this purchase affordable for me and I am so greatful. I couldn't be happier.

I was working with Bruce for over a week. I was being extremely picky on what I wanted in the car, and he was able to locate one for me. Vic then took over when I came in to purchase to car. He then made sure that I was familiar with every little detail of the car. Working with the two of them was a very nice experience and I appreciate what they did for me.

This was the best buying experience I've ever had. No hassle price and over a $1000. less than a local competitor. They even came to my home which was an hour away to pick me up in order to deliver the new car. They found me exceptional financing too! I couldn't be happier.

This was the best new car, 2009 Jetta, buying experience that I've ever had! The whole dealership staff was just great. I was there on a Saturday and they offered me lunch (great food)and also offered the same to the other people in the dealership. This was a very different way to buy a car!
