I honestly believe all of the bad reviews about this place. About nine years ago I stopped by the dealership to purchase an S60. I was told by the sales rep, Leann, that they had no basic models available. She then showed me around the lot and got me to fall in love with an S60 that had a moonroof and other extras. I test drove the car and then went home and negotiated a price with her via email. When I called her the next day, thinking I was going to drive down there and settle paperwork and down payment etc., she told me that she was with a customer and would call me back. A couple of hours later, she called me back and the first thing she asked for was my personal information to do a credit check. As soon as she ran my credit and told me it was fine, she then proceeded to tell me that someone sold the car I spent hours the day before negotiating with her, "last night". No warning from her when I left the day before or during negotiating that the car was still up for grabs. Then she told me how she can get another one delivered but that it would be driven down from another dealership somewhere in a whole other County. When I then told her that I am trying to buy a new car and that would now make the car a demo or used car, she basically told me big deal and treated me like I was whining over nothing. Big snake in the grass! When she called me back, she knew the car was already sold the night before, yet tricked me into giving her my information so she could do a credit check and ding my credit. Of course after that, I ended the call and definitely did not buy a car from her or that dealership, and in fact, thanks to her big mouth on the lot the day before, letting on that Power Volvo down in south county was the only dealership that will not work with them, I immediately called them and bought from the fleet manager. Still driving my S60 and love it.

Excellent parts and service department. I don't really like the receptionist and most of the sales team judges you on how you look. When I purchased my last Volvo I did have one sales person come right up to me and made me feel welcome even though I was not dressed nice. He didn't care how I was dressed, so I bought a car from him.

Employees at dealership are great at finding the car that you want. Most follow up that I have ever seen from a dealer. They really listen to your wants and don't push you toward a car that doesn't fit your request. Greatly appreciate all the work from their sales manager (Ted) who provide top notch support in finding the car.

I am always sceptical about buying a new car. These many years later I choose to embrace it after all I want the car I've done he work I know what I want. Zak my salesman was great a really hands off approach answering all questions I still have. Let's face it the end of the year is a limited selection but it is the only time of the year I could afford to buy a Volvo. I always have fun buying a new car it's exciting that's for sure. They made it easy to lease and my wife just leased one from Zak a month back. No I didn't need one but I wanted the XC 60.

I have purchased 7 Volvos from OC Volvo. 3 sedans, 3 station wagons, and an XC 60. We purchased the second Volvo using the European Delivery Program. Volvo of Orange County handled everything and driving that new car for 8 weeks all through Europe was a delight. One wagon saved my life and the life of my 21 month old daughter. I was traveling 55 miles an hour (posted speed) and a truck ran a stoplight. The engine was running after the collision. I shifted into low and made a U-turn. We were unscratched and the groceries were fine. Nothing broken - not the eggs, the cookies, or the orange juice in a bottle. Volvo put a new front end on the car and I drove it 6 years with never a problem. My record mileage was 284,000 miles and the only reason I traded it in was to have the newer model. My first Volvo was eventually owned by a Navy Captain stationed in Washington, D.C. He called one morning because he somehow found out that I was the original owner of the car he was driving. He told me that he had just put a new engine in the car (the mileage was over 760,000) and it was running "like a top'. When it comes to buying a new car, I always know it will be a Volvo - the big decision is the color. I have had beige, gold, and green sedans. 2 beige and a white wagon, and the current XC is gray. I have always dealt with one dealer - Volvo of Orange County even when they moved 3 times. Everyone involved with the dealership over the years has been wonderful. The service department is incredible. Any problem has been dealt with immediately - and I do mean immediately. I have recommended this dealership to family and friends and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new Volvo. I only trust my car to this dealership and i only buy my cars at Volvo of Orange County. I hear Volvo is bringing back the traditional station wagon (to all of us who love the real Volvo station wagon) in the future.. I will have to decide between the XC 60 and the wagon - the color will be white. My thanks to everyone I have worked with over the last 45 years at Volvo of Orange County - especially the Service people who care for my cars as if they were their own. Kudos to all!

Thank you Norm Grover!! You made buying my V50 pleasant, enjoyable and a complete hassle free experience. I was only buying a used car, but I never felt like I was treated by Norm or his colleagues, any differently than if I were making a new car purchase. The used CPO I purchased was missing the owners manual and a second key. Norm offered to order them from the factory, and he actually did send everything-no cost.

Bought a Volvo S60 Type R in Dec 2013 and it went well - fast, efficient, knowledgeable. Test drove a couple of cars and the salesman easily highlighted all of the features in a quick, easy to understand manner. We took a night to decide and the next morning we were still excited about it, so went in and we were able to take care of the entire purchase process in under an hour. It was easy. We didn't have a trade-in, so that may have helped. We had shopped around at close to a dozen other dealerships - Lexus, Infinity, Volvo and so many of the other salesman demonstrated a huge gap of knowledge and just poor people skills. We did not encounter that here. The entire sales team is very good at their jobs and make it a quick, easy process.

Service is Good; however, I was selected by Volvo of America to complete a random survey, filled it out with an Average rating only because of greasy finger prints and soiled interior. The customer name and personal info along with the survey results were sent to the Service Advisor that assisted me, the customer. Upon my next visit to the Service Center, I was pulled aside in a private area, and was told how upset my Service Advisor was as to my low marks on the survey. He told me that he expected OUTSTANDING marks. His attitude and remarks were very threatening to me. I will NOT return for Service or New Car purchase.

My husband and I were looking to purchase a used 3rd row SUV similar to a Honda Pilot in February 2013. We became aware of the Hyundai Veracruz and it seemed like it would fit our needs well. While searching online late one Sunday, we found one available at OC Volvo for an outstanding price, well under the Blue Book price, with low mileage considering the car's year. We called about the car the next day and set up an appointment for Wednesday late afternoon - we live 60 miles north and had to come after work on a day my parents could watch our children. The man we dealt with was very personable and our sales transaction was smooth and easy. We have had the car six months now and couldn't be happier.

I appreciate the help getting a set of bike racks on the wagon. There is a Volvo dealership which is ~ 50 miles closer to my home -but I found the trip to Orange County to bea wise choice. Went by to look at a Volvo c30 at about 745 on a Tuesday night. Sean Zak and Ed stayed late (close at 830) answered all my questions. Zak let me take. Him on a nice test drive and answered all my questions. While Sean and Ed worked on the deal. Got the ball rolling that night and we ball parked everything that needed to be handled. Ed and Sean worked the deal with the bank and the used car guys the next day to get me the most on my trade in and the apr I wanted. (They did both) Zak kept me in loop with texts throughout the day. Once everything was done I came in filled out the paper work and had my new car. Zak made sure to go over everything features wise with me and synced my phone before I left. All 3 of them where pleasant and took good care of me. This is my first volvo and I love it. Great dealership located in central OC.

Kudos to Volvo of Orange for the best customer service in the person of Lynne Collins. This was actually our second experience with her and had it not been for her, this probably would have been our last visit to Volvo of Orange. This is what happened... My son, Mikel, had actually purchased his first used Volvo from this dealership just last July and it was Lynne who took the time to see that everything we asked about Volvos, particularly the V50 that may son was interested in, were answered. She was very patient, very personal and very warm. I couldn't believe that she had all the time to spend with us! My son had just come out unscathed from a bad car accident on the freeway and had it not been for his old 1987 Volvo 240 GL, he probably would still be in the hospital. Because his old volvo had "saved his life", he knew that his replacement car would also be a Volvo. So after a few hours of going through the process with Lynne, my son finally bought the car. It was during a succeeding visit of Mikel to get a spare key that my other son, Stephen, accompanied him, met Lynne, and asked her that if a C30 would be available, if she could call him or me as he was interested in buying his "first" car. And so after a week, Lynne calls me and informs me that a 2010 C30 R-design was available and that they had just received it and hadn't had it detailed yet for display. We arranged to meet her that day at 6:00 PM as Lynne said that she needed to see her dentist and that she would have the car brought out for us to see. We went to the dealership a bit early, saw the C30 and was waiting for her when another customer came to us to tell us that he had already purchased the car!!. When Lynne arrived, we told her what happened and upon checking, she was disgusted to find out that another sales person had already sold the car even if according to her, we were supposed to be the first in line to see the car and that her manager had known about our appointment to see the car. We were very disappointed and i was ready to file a complaint with whoever was in charge. It was at this point that Stephen started to look in the lot for other C30's and found a 2013 C30 basic model. Upon checking with Lynne, she said that if Stephen wanted it, she was going to make sure that Stephen got the best deal after what just happened with the 2010 car. Well, she did just that. After processing our requests for a car loan, Lynne and her Sales manager offered Stephen a deal he could not refuse. Aside from giving it to us at the employees price, they further deducted $ 700 from the amount making the final amount just about $ 600 over the 2010 C30 that Stephen initially wanted. We couldn't believe it- a brand new 2013 car with free 5 years maintenance for just $ 600 above the 2010 car. My wife and I couldn't help but smile at each other and silently said "thank You Lord for this gift and for using Lynne!" Yes, Lynne is the best car sales person we have ever met. We now have two Volvos at home and I wouldn't be surprised if we get a third one care of Lynne Collins of course.

I brought my 2005 Volvo s60 in to get a headlight replaced because I was having problems replacing it myself. I asked if I could watch the repair man install it to see if he had any tips on how to install without hurting my hand. They were courteous to allow me to watch, but I swathe repair,an "rip" the air intake out of my car, he replaced the light and tested the light to find there was an "electrical" problem. I then left and "trusted" the repair man, believing that since I was at a "Volvo" dealership they new my s60. 2 hours later I went back to ask what is the problem and the repair man insisted that the problem was a "computer" problem and it would be $800 to fix. I then asked "did you check the fuse" and he then responded with telling me that there was no fuse and showed me the electrical diagram. As I looked at it, with my background in electrical engineering, I responded with there is a fuse. I said no more repair to be done and still had to wait 45 min to get my car back. As soon as I got the car I took it to pep boys and checked the fuses and the fuse for the light was missing, but when I replaced the fuse I found that they had broke the air intake of my s60. Take your Volvo to Swedish and Asian Autoservice.

Volvo of Orange County was very knowledgeable about their cars and this made buying a Volvo easy! Everyone was incredibly kind, from detail to sales to the GM. Gary White took the time and with much patience to explained every detail on the car to me and to my 12 year old son, from the engine to the navigation system. He answered every question we had and included my son in exploring the Volvo. When I came back the next day with my husband it was Gary's day off, so Lynne Collins was happy to assisted us. She had a smile on her face the entire time. Lynne was knowledgeable about the different models and packages and helped us find the EXACT car we wanted. I test drove a few BMWs and Audis, I kept coming back to the Volvo! Because everyone was so knowlegeable and patient, I was able to take my time with no pressure and decide on what car best suited my needs. Thank you Lynne, Gary and your team at Volvo of Orange County! I will definitely buy my next car through them!

on their website there is a make an offer option.It is nothing wrong when a customer makes an offer below their price i believe.If so,they should state no haggle price for the car.To make an offer is optional and selling or not is their choice too.Do you believe their sale manager responded to me that i should have had common sense when making offer.It would be ridiculous if i made an offer for $1 but i didnt.My offer is not far from their price.You know what,it is difficult to buil a long lasting relationship between business with customers but it takes one second to ruin that.

This up-front, straight shooting dealership was very refreshing to find. The entire staff is there to serve, and make sure your buying experience is a pleasure. Every step of the buying process was stress free, and could only be classed as a pleasure. There were never any deceptive "tricks" that one encounters in other dealerships. I highly recommend Volvo of Orange County, and especially my Sales Consulant Shabbir Safri. I had never owned a Volvo before, but had been impressed with the C30 T5 Coupe since I first saw it at the Auto Show. I was looking for sporty, sure footed, safe car for my daughter.I visited the dealership three times before purchasing the car. I appreciated Shabbir's patience with me. He provided great information, it was as if he engineered the car himself. The test drive was an "E" ticket ride for me and I was sold. Shabbir helped us locate a car that had just the features we were looking for, no more, no less. Finally, he was an advocate for me during the purchase process and helped me to get a good deal on the car.I am very happy with the car and we have quickly put a couple thousand miles on it! The power is unlimited, as fast as you'd want to go without risking a high dollar ticket. It performs solid in traffic and on the open road. I has a turbo charger but uses regular gas. Finally, it gets attention because it's different - I see 10 BMW coupes for every Volvo coupe.I couldn't have had a better overall experience with the purchase process and my happiness with the car!

I had a great experience because everyone was so helpful without being too pushy. Shabbir was so nice and worked with me to help me find the car that best suited my needs, which included space, fuel efficiency and price. They were also very helpful in making sure that I recieved the best loan program for my situation. Another thing that really made my car buying experience great was the easiness of my trade in. I was trading in another Volovo and I feel I was treated very fairly. FIVE STARS!!

I have been a customer of Volvo of Orange County for more than 10 years. The S60 I am driving now is my second Volvo. I have been very happy with the services I've received at this dealer. Everyone has been professional, helpful, friendly and at times considerate. Mike Uchida has gone out of his way to help me with problems regarding the car that I would not think a dealership would continue to do once the car is off the lot! Mike Guzman makes it hard for me to think of going to any other dealer nor to any other car brand. He shows understanding, consistency and the willingness to do his best for the customers. I would recommend this dealer to anyone!

I'm a customer of the Service Department. I became one on the recommendation of an associate at VCNA.It has been well worth the switch.On Tuesday, June 22, I contacted my service advisor, Juan Aranda, about a recall on my V70 XC wagon and to have a problem with acceleration diagnosed. I brought my bicycle with me as I'll take any excuse to get in a ride.Apparently I dropped my house keys in the service drive as I was assembling myself to hit the road. I'm not sure of exactly who found them, but Juan realized they were mine.He used MapQuest or Google to figure out how I would most likely ride home and sent a valet to try and track me down. I was pretty surprised to see one of your courtesy vans pass me, and then pull over. I was even more surprised to be handed my keys.Juan sure stretched the definition of good service in a very exemplary way, and it's worth a note of appreciation. I hope you'll pass this along and thank him for me.

I purchased my XC-70 from Volvo of OC and have maintained it at the dealership for the last decade. Shabbir was great to work with; very nice salesman. Also, the selection of cars was good. We had a coupld to choose from. The after sale "sales pitch" (add-on options like ceramic tint, etc) was a little much. Made the buying process take too long.

Brian is always very professional and flexible with scheduling dates and times for car repairs/maintenance. Brain has even taken me into the shop to talk with the mechanic working on my car so I can fully understand the options. The waiting lounge is comfortable with free coffee.

We've been using Volvo of Orange County for service for many years and they never disappoint. Most recently, Brian Duncanson took care of a scary warning light problem that turned out to be minor. It's not just Brian that is great. Faisal is also a favorite, but any of the guys will take care of you with professionalism.
