Went to every dealer from pineville to alexandria and ended at walker honda. Christopher Johnson and the entire staff made us feel like family and made sure this was our last stop. The staff really went out of their way to make sure we were hapoy. They gave us what we needed back on the trade in and better, and got us the percentage an payments a month we needed! Just the greatest experience for buying a vehicle. I enjoyed how they didn't seem put off by our questions and had no problem working up as many deals as I needed even IN THE SNOW. After a long day of searching for the right vehicle my brother and I went to Walker Honda to see what they had available. Within a few minutes of them what we were looking for they brought out a 2005 Honda Odyssey. After some discussion I got the van I wantehd at the price I needed. Bryan and Joey were very helpful. I found the CRV I wanted on the Walker Honda website. I live in a different town. Within 5 minutes of me sending an email inquiring about the CRV, a salesman called me to talk about the vehicle. Over the next week we conversed back and forth and I decided I wanted the vehicle. I gave them a small deposit and they held the vehicle for me for 4 days until I could get down there to get it. All of the paperwork had already been taken care of, all I had to do was sign some things and I was on my way. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I recommend Joey Cooksey to anyone who is looking to purchase a vehicle from Walker Honda.

Bryan Normand did an OUTSTANDING JOB in getting us a vehicle along with the rest of the staff. Being hit in the rear and losing our 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid was a traumatic experience. We went back to the same salesperson and he helped us to compare different vehicles based on our needs. Bryan did his BEST and was able to get us into a vehicle that we wanted and most importantly one that would serve us BEST in the coming years.

We purchased a 08 Jeep Patriot from Walker Honda a year and a half ago. Our salesman was Bryan Normand. He was very professional and courteous to us and made us feel welcomed. After the purchase he checked in on us several times, making sure everything was going good, and that the Jeep was living up to our expectations. A month ago we began toying with the idea of purchasing a second vehicle. I spent hours searching on the internet for that perfect car. Then I called and spoke with Bryan, advised of our situation, what note we could afford, etc. With not so perfect credit, I wasn't expecting to be approved for another vehicle. To my surprise we were, and are now the proud owners of a Honda Civic. I am totally satisfied with the car, as well as the experiences we have had with the Walker Honda team. Their saying holds true. I searched from Jackson, MS to Memphis, TN to find a good deal on a Honda Odyssey and Walker Honda in Alexandria had it. After talking to a "smooth" salesman at another dealer in Jackson, MS, it was nice to work with Matt Fonteno, who was down to earth and answered my questions. Matt took pictures of the Odyssey to show me the tiny problems it had, so I would know what I was getting before driving the 4.5 hours to see and purchase the car. He even was able to get his service team to fix a minor problem before we signed the deal at 5:15 on a Friday. We drove 4.5 hours to buy from Matt and would do it again. Thanks!

We have bought several cars from other dealerships in the last few years. My experience at walker honda was by far one of the easiest, stress less, and pleasant experiences we've had. Their price for our slightly used vehicle was the lowest I could find anywhere! Our salesman Bryan Normand was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. This was the right vehicle at the right price for my son, his wife and my 3 grandbabies. The buying experience was very relaxed and professional and the price was spot on. I had done my homework and we got a very good price and we were in and out in 90 minutes. Our salesman was honest and easy to work w/ and we got exactly what we need for a family of five. My daughter-in-law was very pleased and after dinner asked if the(the family) could just drive around while my son a Doctor of Chiropractic sat in the back w/ his girls and they watched a Disney movie and in the far back seat the oldest who is 6 played a video game and her father joined in. It's a great riding, easy handling vehicle w/ a multitude of features and good gas mileage, but for me it's the safety features that sold me on this vehicle. They are my family and I would want them in any other vehicle!

I am a fifty-seven year old mechanic and lifelong gearhead - which means I am not always the easiest man to please when it comes to machinery. My search for a good used vehicle for my wife led me to Walker Honda, where I went with some trepidation, as my past experiences with salesmen have caused me to be extra cautious - because I've found they don't always know what they are talking about! I was nicely surprised in dealing with Matt Fontenot, however, and he obviously wasn't bothered by my Cynical Old Man approach to the situation. He answered all of my questions very satisfactorily, emailed me photos of the automobile before any had even appeared on their website, and inspired me to make an eighty-five mile drive to see it in person. We had a nice visit while I examined that vehicle - which I purchased after less than thirty minutes on the premises. I also enjoyed doing the paperwork with Misty Campbell as we chatted about various things we had in common. All in all, it was a very smooth and pleasant transaction, certainly nothing like I had expected. (As a matter of fact, when I first noticed they had glued a Walker Automotive badge on the trunk lid, I was slightly annoyed - thinking that would be the first thing to come off after we drove it home. But now I am rather proud to display it there, and that is where it will stay!)

Went in not knowing what i wanted--but needed a nice clean vehicle.. Melvin, was VERY helpful and never got aggravated with us! We looked at 3 or 4 different vehicles because my husband didnt want to settle again! We had been turned down SEVERAL times bc of BAD credit! We were getting very discouraged due to being turned down so many times so we said lets give it one more try so we decided to go to Walker Honda on Coll. BLVD and Melvin was our salesperson. My husband found a truck he had his heart set on we said lets just try it probably wont happen though! I can't say enough goods things about my experience with Walker Honda and the salesman Matt Fontenot. I was shopping online for a truck and came across one I liked. I called about it and Matt agreed to a fantastic price over the phone. He even emailed me extra pictures of the truck. I live about 100 miles away, so finding the right vehicle online was essential. I made the drive down and not only was the truck exactly as described, but they were able to give me a great price on my trade in and they even secured an unheard of low interest rate on the financing. I realized 10 days later that I forgot a set of keys in my trade, and Matt mailed them back to me, no questions asked. Now that's what I call service!

We bought our new 2012 Odyssey Touring Elite on July 16, 2012. In early September the DVD player began scratching our DVD's and making loud noises. We called Walker Service and set up an appointment for 9-25-12. After waiting for over 2 hours we were told that a replacement DVD player would be ordered and would be in within 3-5 days, and ours would be replaced. After calling to track the order we were told the part came in on 10-4-12 to come in on the 5th and it would be installed. After waiting for over 2 hours on the 5th I was told that a DVD player would be ordered that Honda cancelled the other one pending inspection of DVD player. Why was it not inspected on 9-25? Why was I told it was being installed on the 5th? We set up an appointment for 10-10 to have the broken player replaced. After waiting for over 3 hours (with my two toddlers with me at every appointment) I was told that the navigation system was now not working that they got "air in the line'. Seriously, an electrical issues with "air in the line". I explained that we were leaving for vacation on the 12th that we needed our navigation system, which was working when I arrived, to work when we left. After a little back and forth between employees they took our vehicle back and got the navigation going again. At this visit my dash where the DVD player was taken out was scratched on the right hand side. We were told that entire console unit, not just the DVD player, would have to be replaced and that it would be in on the 22nd. Mike Thompson told me before I left that we'd be given a free oil change for our trouble that this was the first DVD player they had ever had to replace. We called on the 22nd and the part was not in. We were told that we would get a call when the part came in. I called 11-1-12 to track the part and was told that it came in on 10-26-12 that it "must have slipped through the cracks". We made an appointment for 11-9-12 to have the part installed and the scratches repaired. We arrived at 9 am and were told that our vehicle would be ready in 2-3 hours. We called at 1:00 pm and it was not ready to call back in an hour. We called back at 2:00 pm and were told it would be ready on Monday. We got a call around 4:50 telling us our vehicle was ready. We picked it up and the DVD player was working. The remedy for the scratches on our dash - they were filed down creating more damage than the original scratches, but camouflaged the scratches better. Because our oil life was at 60% when we were there we asked for an IOU for the oil change was told that they would remember us that we didn't need one. Over all this was not a pleasant service experience.

I recently bought a Yukon from Matt at Walker Honda and it couldn't have been easier. He assured they could fix it at no charge (which they did). I agreed to purchase vehicle after we negotiated a price. I wanted to be at a certain monthly note. After the finance dept. set up the financing, I was called in to her office. She immediately had me start signing papers. I stopped her and ask what the monthly note would be. She said, "I will get to that in a few minutes" After a little more discussion, she finally told me. It seems a lot higher than what it should be. As she continued talking about the warranty, it turns out she had added other extended warranties and credit protection and insurance to the final cost WITHOUT telling me. Once she removed those, the price came down dramatically. I was not happy that she tried to sneak in those extras. But I did purchase the vehicle because it was a good price for the vehicle.

This dealer has a great selection of vehicles - a huge inventory. We were shown 6 cars that suited our needs and were to out liking. The sales consultant was exceptionally awesome. He was willing to stay 3 hours past closing time to help us find the car we wanted and get us in it and driving. I would recommend this dealer to anyone, especially this sales consultant. Outstanding job, Walker Honda!

I had to wait 3 hours to get in the office to sign papers for 10 minutes. This was a cash sale that the price had been prior agreed upon and should have never taken this long. On the other hand, my salesperson was great.

I went in just to get some info about better gas mileage cars and see what kind of used cars they had on the lot. I used to say I wouldn't own a civic, but seeing how well it drove, the smooth ride, good gas mileage, and warranty I thought why not give this a try. I'm so glad I did and the salesman and financial manager were also very helpful. It made a hectic car buying experience seem easy!

I found my 2009 used Honda Odyssey online at Walker Honda. From there I did all my inquiring and negotiating through email. Walker Honda made the actual purchasing process a breeze and very quick. We were in and out in 1.5 hours (including the test drive and trade-in). I have no complants!

Being a woman, many sales people believe women don't have the knowledge that men do concerning vehicles. The salesman for Honda Walker, Erik Parks, was nothing but professional and courteous. The auto I purchased was an option I had not even considered before, but was actually the best one for me. I have already recommended a customer from where I am employed to go by and speak to him about what autos are in stock. Working with Mr. Parks took the stress out of buying a vehicle, and I will highly recommend him in the future.

We had a nice experience purchasing our vehicle from Walker. We fortunately did not encounter a "pushy" salesperson. Mr. Mason was our nice salesman & he was very attentive to our wants & needs within a vehicle during the buying process. The financing dept had all the paperwork ready for us to sign in a matter of minutes!! I would definitely recommend this dealership & Mr Mason for a salesperson for anyone wanting to purchase a vehicle.

Drove 60 miles one way to have 1yr/ 20,000 mile service performed on my vehicle. They changed the oil and reluctantly rotated my tireds. When I returned home and consulted my owner's manual I found that they had failed to: <br>Check front and rear brakes<br> Check parking brake adjustment<br> Inspect the tie rod ends, steering gear box, and boots<br> Inspect the suspension components<br> Inspect the driveshaft boots<br> Inspect the brake hoses and lines (including ABS)<br> Inspect the all fluid levels and condition of fluids<br> Inspect the exhaust system#<br> Inspect the fuel lines and connections#<br> <br>Per Honda protocol. They also failed to pinpoint why my 2004 one year old car is misfiring. These guys are a joke.
