Twice now the dealership has listed vehicles online that they do not have in stock. Both times we've called ahead (one of which was minutes before arriving) to confirm the vehicle we wanted to look at was still available. The first time, they told us the vehicle had just sold. The second time they tried to show us a different vehicle, pretending like it was the one we asked about. It wasn't until we noticed the mileage was different than the one we were there to look at and said something, that the sales person even acknowledged that it was a different vehicle. They then pretended to look for it in the back of the lot, then came back telling us it was sold a few days ago and the online listing hadn't been updated. We will never purchase from this dealership. Honesty goes a long way, especially in an industry known for lying to get the deal. Update: To the reply they offered below. That is not an excuse. Even if your online system has not been updated, when a customer calls and asks if a vehicle is still on the lot, they should be given an honest answer. Also, let's not try to show a different car and hope the customer doesn't notice. My husband and I both took time off to look at this vehicle. Not to mention, we are in the middle of an pandemic. We would not have visited something unnecessarily had we been told the truth up front.

Derrick was the best car sales experience that I’ve ever had. I would suggest that anyone looking for a honest salesman who is truly looking for your best interest, Derrick is your guy. I gave him a price point and listed my needs and concerns and he respected that and never stretched out of that space. Today my car was ready and detailed and I explained to him how much it would mean for my fiancé to have the car today. Derrick on his day off suited up and said he’d be more then willing to meet at the site as soon as I’m off work. If you’re at Walker’s Mazda, I highly recommend that you ask for Derrick!

I went to Walker's Renton Mazda with a specific car in mind to look at and possibly purchase. When I arrived I noticed that another couple was already test driving the vehicle that I had just drove over an hour to look at. Kaitlyn then approached me and asked if I was looking at anything in particular and I explained the situation. Without hesitation she said that she would go get the keys and we could go for a test drive just in case the other customers decided to go with a different car. She was extremely professional, knowledgeable and attentive when it came to answering my questions and making sure that I got everything that I needed. I fully went in with the intention of walking away if they were unable to meet even a single one of the terms that I had set for myself. I was pleasantly surprised when Kaitlyn and Chris the manager were able to meet them all without me even telling them what all of my requirements were. This was by far the easiest and least stressful car buying experience I have had in a long time. Again, Kaitlyn was a phenomenal sales representative that made sure I was taken care of every step of the way. Thank you Kaitlyn!

I liked the service and smoothness of the process from both Peter and Roman. That I absolutely recommend. I'm not giving 5 stars because I did not like the buy-extra-warranty stuff in the office at the end of the conversation (though I understand that it was the sales-person's job). WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. Well start there. My sister recently went to purchase a Mazda3 from Walkers Renton Mazda. I am a current Mazda3 owner and when my sister began her search for a car, Mazda immediately caught her eye due to my experience with my car. Well state over and over again that we love the car, but do not recommend Walkers Renton Mazda to purchase your car. During the process, my sister was told about numerous discounts based on her recent graduation status, living with a mazda owner (me), and financing options. These changed and some were ultimately unable to be given because they did not exist. It seemed to be a way to get a buyer interested and invested and then there was no follow-through. In addition to deals and discounts not being consistent, the customer service while there was abysmal. We were at the dealership for over 5 hours. As a mazda owner and having purchased my car at Walkers Renton Mazda years ago, I was promised car washes for life at the dealership. So I promptly asked for one when we arrived. I made sure to ask early as it was a weekend and I knew they were busy. You would think, over a 5 hour period they could get me a car wash. It was not until the third hour, where I had to dangle my keys in front of a salesperson (Ken), that they took my keys to (what I thought) get my car washed. Ken walked away with my keys and I saw him unlock my car and open the passenger side door on my car. I promptly went out to see what he was doing to find him digging through my glove compartment. When I asked what he was doing he explained he was searching for my title to confirm that my sister and I lived at the same address so that she could get the loyalty customer cash. This appalled me, as this is my personal property, and he gave me no warning that he was going to do this when I handed him my keys. When I handed him my keys it was to get my car washed not to have a Mazda employee dig through my personal property without permission. Eventually my sister was ready to sign her deal and pay for the car. During this process of trying to sell her additional warranties was she ever asked to pay for the car. In fact, after hands were shook and keys were handed to her, it was only our father that asked if she had actually paid for the car. We then had to go back to a Mazda employee and ask if they wanted payment for the car! She paid for the car and thankfully, we finally drove off. Me, without a car wash that I had waited over 5 hours for.Also, waters were continually offered over this 5 hour period, and no water was ever provided. In fact, at the end they had said they ran out of water. There was a watering fountain, and I imagine glasses or paper cups somewhere. But alas, no water.A few days later, my sister was being contacted frequently to have me confirm that my address on my title had been changed to my current address (I recently moved). This was beginning to become less and less worth it for the $500 loyalty cash. They told her they could not process the title until they could confirm this information (even though they already cashed her check). I can tell you, what they made us go through made us no longer loyal customers. My sister was then told she had to come back into Walkers Renton Mazda to verify that her address was the same as mine. Why not ask for all of this at the dealership at the time of purchase? An unanswered question from Mazda. She promptly made the trip all the way back to Walkers Renton Mazda to prove her residence and sign new paperwork and just get this over with. She arrived and realized that the address on the new contract was not even the correct one (the one they had been verifying for the past week!), and they had to draft up new paperwork. In addition to this error, my sister noticed that the price on the new contract was different than what she paid the day she purchased the car. It was a $35 difference. She mentions this to a Mazda employee and they thanked her for pointing that out and asked her to pay an additional $35 and told her if she hadnt seen this she would have had to come in another time to make the payment. Customer service fail. Why is this the buyer's fault? This is the obligation of the dealership to make sure your numbers match. This should have been offered to be paid for by the dealership for their own mistake. In the beginning, my sister was looking forward to owning a Mazda and using Walkers Renton to purchase. However, due to the lack of good customer service and no follow-through on deals and discounts offered it has left her feeling disrespected and disappointed. It is now, what we hope to be over. No longer do we plan to nor ever want to buy a car with Walkers Renton Mazda and we hope you take this as a warning to go to the other nearby Mazda dealerships, where I would be surprised if you got worse customer service.

We were on the fence about buying used vs new before we ever met Terry at Walker's. He was diligent in explaining the pros and cons but was not pushy at all. I actually dreaded the car buying lot experience. I feel Terry made my fears go away almost immediately by his laid-back yet informative approach. I would recommend going to Walker's to work with him. We are thrilled with our 2014 Mazda 6 and the experience was better than we thought it would be.I don't say this loosely for many things, but I would not hesitate going to see him with any questions you may have.

I was transferred out of the area unexpectedly and needed to get in to an all wheel drive. Was fortunate enough to work with Doug who quickly became my "car guy" He followed up, even coming by my home when I was recovering from surgery. Doug did everything he could with a lot of variables and I ended up buying 2 vehicles from him.Great guy, great experience Shout out to Chris the finance guy who went above and beyond. I researched the car I wanted for months and finally decided to get a Mazda CX-5. After I found some options online, I started calling dealerships to check availability. All the ones I called either tried to upsell a different more expensive car or told me they were in the middle of selling the one I wanted and would get back to me. Our final call was to Walker's Renton Mazda and we spoke with Luther. He really stood out because he was polite, professional, and simply told us we could come in the next morning to check out the one I wanted. When we got there, he already had it ready for a test drive. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and helpful in answering questions. It wasn't just the typical sales pitch- he seemed to genuinely care that I was making the right decision. Not only am I really happy with my car, I am happy with whom I bought it from which is an added bonus! The whole experience was smooth and straightforward with Luther and the rest of the staff we worked with. Needless to say, I definitely recommend!

We went to the Walker's Renton Mazda dealer for CX-3 Sport car, but after performed a test drive on CX-3 GT available at the lot, we liked the CX-3 GT instead. Doug Truong and the team were helpful in our purchase of noted vehicle. We'll be even more liked the vehicle if its windows tinted as same as the test vehicle. The feature that we missed when we took the care.

If there was a six star rating, this is the place I would give it to because they go so above and beyond!!! I would 110% recommend this car dealership to anyone looking to buy a car. If it's for yourself or even a first car for your child, this is the place to go.I spent months looking for a car, and as a first time buyer it can be a little intimidating. I went to several different dealerships and none of them even came close to the kind of service that Walkers Renton Mazda provided. They allowed me the time to look at all the cars and test drive anything that I wanted to without any pressure of a sale.The salesman, Chris Kosoff, and his Sales Manager, Amir Abasaliyev, worked hard to make sure I got the car I wanted at the price I could afford. Both of them were upfront about everything and made sure that I was well informed about what I was signing for. Overall great guys down to the core.Through and through this company is so amazing for how well they treated me and how much hard work they put in to get me into my dream car. I was looking to get a pre-owned car but wasn't exactly sure what to get. First and last stop was at Mazda of Renton! My dad and I sat down with Terry and explained all our wants: less than 25k miles, leather seats, rear backup camera, 4 doors, heated seats, compact car, navigation... plus we didn't want to spend more than $25,000. We didn't do any initial research so we were just listing out everything we wanted. Terry patiently listened and brought out one car and I knew right away it was the perfect match! He even got us a killer deal!! I couldn't be happier with my experience. Thank you Terry and everyone at Mazda of Renton for my hassle-free and easy experience!

We where in the market for a fun toy and the MX 5 had everything we were looking for. From the moment we met Ken at the door, through Maddie facilitating a test drive and Garret making every effort to make us feel good about the purchase and Doug bringing everything together and sealing the deal, everyone was extremely positive, personal and friendly. I purchased my car with Doug Troung who was awesome to work with. We exchanged initial emails, I was very particular about the car I wanted, the price range I was looking for, and financing and he worked to get everything I needed. Not to mention my car I wanted was very rare (only 1 in Washington and Oregon) and he still put in the work to get me my car. Terry Kennebrew our sales representative was great. He was helpful, informative and didn't push us to buy. I couldn't have asked for anything more from him! He was the "best of times" for us.The worst of times was the over an hour I was left waiting to get the paperwork processed and get out the door. It was the pits. Once we finally got to meet with the finance rep things went well enough, it the way the process was laid out and played out left a great deal to be desired.

I went this past Saturday to look at a car that I found online that I was really excited to see. It was exactly what I had been looking for and I have been looking for MONTHS. I have owned a Mazda before and I loved it. I also purchased it from this same dealership. I got to work with Terry. Terry was a complete gem! He was very friendly and informative. He wasn't the least bit pushy either. He went with me on a quick test drive of the car. I brought my mom along for the ride since she was kind enough to take me there. Terry went over all the new feature of the car and answered all the questions I had. He was honest and patient with me. He went over all of the finance options with me, what certified used means and everything I had questions on. He told me that if I had any additional questions to call him. I have to reiterate that he wasn't at all pushy. I had looked at cars a few months ago and it was a nightmare at some other dealerships. I was almost belittled for not wanting to take something home that day. Terry did nothing even close to pushy. He even offered to hook up my mom's bluetooth to her car that was parked next door just because she didn't know how to do it!. I highly recommend Terry to anyone looking to purchase a car. I haven't had that easy or that pleasant of a car shopping experience in a long time.

This is our second Mazda car from the same dealership within a span of 2.5 years. We did our research and decided to go for a Mazda 6 this time . We did reach out to couple of Mazda dealers to understand the details about the car and the pricing of the car. Doug from Renton Mazda made it really easy for us. We came to Walker's after doing substantial research online about the specific used car we wanted, and what we could reasonably expect to get for our trade-in. We worked with Mr. Leonard, who was professional, prepared, detail-oriented, knowledgeable, and personable in a way that comes across as genuine, not a job requirement.After my husband test-drove two cars but wasn't ready to make a decision, Mr. Leonard followed up with a phone call later that evening to make sure we had all the information we needed. We arranged to return the next day so that I could also test drive the car. This was Mr. Leonards day off, and we appreciated his offer to accommodate our schedule at the expense of his own leisure time.Throughout the sales process, Luther answered all our questions and did his best to make the paperwork and financing process efficient. He was consistently courteous and professional, not to mention an interesting conversationalist as we waited to meet with the finance manager. He turned over our "new" used car to us sparkling clean. One of the two key fobs for the car was missing at the time, but he located the key and had it in the mail to us within a week of buying the car. So far, were happy with our car purchase, and well be glad to recommend Mr. Leonard to any friends or acquaintances in the market for a car.

It has been 8 years since I last purchased a new car. When I last purchased a new vehicle in 2007, I used the "request a quote" option via the Internet and had an exceptional buying experience with a dealer down in Portland. This time, I was interested in a different make of car, so I tried the process again with Mazda hoping to have a similar experience. Although I requested quotes from multiple Mazda dealers in the area, Doug T. from Walker's Renton Mazda was the only one to send me a firm price via email. I'd also inquired about aftermarket leather, and he included a price for this in his quote. The car with the leather turned out excellent, the pricing was even better than I'd expected based on my research, and the total time at the dealership was very minimal. Besides the (expected) hard sell on an extended warranty (declined), the entire experience matched my previous exceptional internet buying experience. I'll never buy a new car any other way.

When I got here everyone was so helpful and inviting.Every question I had was answered and in an honest way. I didn't feel like they were trying to sell me something but being honest about what they thought suited my needs. They even stayed until 12:30 AM to finish all the paperwork so I could drive my new car home that night!! They washed it and filled it up with gas too, which was nice. From right when I walked on the lot to when I left I sincerely could not have asked for a better experience!

I bought a 2016 Mazda6 after discussing with other dealers, I finally called up Walkers Renton because of a friend's recommendation. It was not even in my top 2 choices when I began because of the distance from my place. I talked to Doug and he worked out a great deal for me and furthermore tried to make it as comfortable as possible for us to visit the dealership for a driving test. He sent out someone to pick us up (and drop us back after as well) and he was able to work everything quickly. I gave my pre-approved loan letter to him and voila, my car was ready for picking up very quickly. The experience was very good and I would be recommending Walker's and specifically Doug to all my friends.

This was my first car buying experience. I had my sights set on a Mazda3 after researching, and I came with my parents to Walker's, our closest Mazda dealer. You hear all that there is to hear about car salesmen and dealerships. I had an idea made up in my mind about how this was going to go...but thankfully it was Marat who we had worked with! Marat was extremely knowledgeable and charming, but most importantly he expresses his commitment to taking care of the customer. My Father was warning and prepping me the entire way here to not allow the salesman to influence the sale and keep control, but Marat was able to put even him at ease with how helpful and honest he was. He thoroughly went over every part of the car, right-fitting the exact vehicle for me, as well as making sure to fight to accommodate all of what we hoped for in terms of price and payments. We were amazed when he told us it was just his second month in the business! From greeting us to handing us the keys, Marat was extremely professional, courteous, and a pleasure to work with.Walker's Renton Mazda seems like a great establishment, committed to selling cars the right way rather than what turns the best profit. I would recommend Walker's and Marat in particular to anyone in search of a new Mazda!

I believe that any time you set out to buy a car you need to do your due diligence in researching what you want and how much you are willing to offer before you ever go to the dealership. Having said that, when I met my salesman (Roland) and told him which car I wanted, he did everything he could to give me the price I wanted. This was my second purchase at this dealership and I have had good experiences both times. Also, the parts and service departments are excellent as well. They never try to tell me I need service that I don't need. If you are shopping for a Mazda I would recommend this dealership based on my own experiences here. I will probably return here if or when I need another car.

I got into contact with the car salesman Eugene through the website. Eugene is very friendly. After giving me a great quote on the new car, he even offered to give me the Japanese manufactured model instead of the Mexican manufactured model, without me even asking for it. We went out for a nice test drive, as he showed me all the features and answered all my questions about the car. I financed the car through the dealership, and the discussion was very straightforward, and he made sure I got what I wanted. Eugene even nicely offered me to sign up for my auto insurance right on their computer and stayed one hour after the dealership hours to make sure everything is in order. The mileage on the car is a bit high, about 60 miles out of the dealership. Looks like the car has been test driven a few times already, but that is expected with buying a car that is sitting on the lot.

On my first visit I didn't have time to test drive, but they had the exact model I was considering on the show room floor for me to look at. I bought my 2015 mazda 3 hatchback here last week and am so happy I did. I test drove cars at several dealerships and looked at other makes and models too and felt that everybody I met at walker's was more genuine and honest than anywhere else. There were no high pressure sales tactics from Kris Coley who initially showed me the cars I was interested in and Roland Myers who walked me through the purchase. Roland was especially patient and understanding as my fiance and I ran calculations on scratch paper throughout negotiations late into the evening. His sense of humor and positive spirit was also much appreciated as we worked through serious discussions and financial considerations. I felt respected and heard throughout the process. This was my first dealership car buying experience (had only bought from individuals before) and felt that Roland and Kris Coley made the process fun and as easy as it could be (of course it's still stressful to make such a big purchase and yes, I did negotiate on pricing/financing so it wasn't just easy because I accepted the price they asked for). I would recommend this dealership to anyone. It may not look and feel like a big fancy dealership but it was clean, I have no concerns about how they manage their lot or cars, and they were great to work with. If I had to do it over again, without hesitation I would buy my car here again. And I LOVE the car! I'm hoping to drive it a long time!

My husband and I had a Honda fit that was too small for our growing family. We were looking for something with more cargo space, and the options for at least one more seat. I'd done some research, and the Mazda5 seemed to be what I was looking for. We showed up, checked out one of their used cars and went for a test drive. David was very friendly and helpful, without pressuring us to buy right away, but he made it clear that he wanted to make it work for us if we were interested. We went out to lunch to think about it, then headed back to the dealership to talk finances. My husband and I do not have very good credit right now, due to some issues last year, but David and Ryan worked very hard, calling several different financial institutions, and eventually got us a really great deal for the car I wanted, which is in fantastic shape! I wish I could remember the name of the other man who helped us, someone in the finance department over in their new car lot - he was also extremely helpful in getting us a great deal for our warranty and GAP coverage, since we had a monthly limit we had to stay under for our payments. All in all, it was a long, but very successful day, and I LOVE my Mazda5! Thanks so much to the awesome crew at Walker's Renton Mazda for making this work for us, we REALLY appreciate it!

Bought my car a month ago, sales manager agreed to fix dent on bumper, now they're not fixing it, saying they "tried". On top of it the car has leakage already. Customer service has just been horrible, to top it off, sales manager put me in tears by the way he was talking to me, I'm honestly let down by this dealer, considering all the "good" reviews. Buying a car is always fun picking the car you want, but never fun negotiating. I admit, in my age I am not as patient as I used to be when it comes to negotiating a price, including trade-in value. I was offered a very fair price right up-front, $4K below MSRP which makes haggling over trade-in value much easier. Doug Truong was pleasant, never pushy with sales tactics, and was willing to spend as much time with us as we needed, even though we were shopping other brands as well. This is my 2nd Mazda 6 Grand Touring, we will definitely be back to Mazda, and back to Walker's Renton Mazda to see Doug Truong with our next Mazda purchase.

We are not folks that dealerships want to see as our last new car purchase was 15 years ago. This purchase experience was not as dreadful as we expected. Andreas was very helpful, as we were indecisive between theMazda3 and Mazda6. Turns out, both were about the same price with the mazda6 being just a bit more expensive. We test drove the Mazda3, and then sat in a Mazda6. We left to mull over which vehicle to purchase. Two days later, we came back with a desire to test drive the Mazda6 and immediately felt more comfortable with it. Since it was in our price range, we opted for the Mazda6. Andreas went over all the aspects of the car and the price with us. There was no pressure for the sale, and Andreas went out of his way to make sure that we were satisfied. I recently purchased a 2015 CX5. I had done a lot of research prior to finding a dealer. I sent an email to several dealers and it was obvious right from the beginning who I was going to work with. I told Tom I wanted the no dicker sticker negotiation. Just give me their bottom!one and go from there. They were the only dealership would did not try to soft step negotiations. Tom was polite, very knowledgable and answered my questions immediately, They had what I wanted and the options that we werent they worked to get them installed prior to picking up!the car. On pick up day I worked mostly with Andreas. Andreas was so personably, warm and knowledgeable. He made sure everything kept moving and my car was clean and ready. He spent a significant time with me to make sure i understood the functions of my new car. Even the financing process was painless and they asked what I wanted and didnt try and force sell me. I dreaded the car buying process but I'm have to say Renton Walker Mazda the experience was enjoyable. And above all I love the product. The car is sporty, classic and very fun to drive! We didn't want to buy a new car ... we drive our cars into the ground, and we were disappointed that we finally had to give up on one of our old ones. (A 1999 Volvo, to be exact.) To be honest, we were kind of dreading the hassle of buying a new vehicle. Anyway, we test-drove at a couple of different dealerships, and started getting regular calls and emails from them even though we told them we were just looking at the time. And one dealer took it upon himself to denigrate every other vehicle we told him we were considering. It was very off-putting. That's why when it was time to buy, we followed a recommendation from someone close to us and headed to Walker's Renton Mazda. Doug Truong was friendly and personable, but also laid-back and easy to work with. We're extremely pleased with the experience and would recommend him -- and Walker's Renton Mazda -- to anyone.

I was lucky to have Ken Palmer as my salesman at Walker's. This man went out of his way to get me the exact vehicle I wanted, my new BLUE Reflex Mica 2015 CR-X Sport AWD with Bluetooth package and fog lights and all-weather mats. The whole process from meeting Ken to test driving to doing the numbers to get the car was absolutely painless. I never experienced anything like it before because just a few months earlier I bought my wife a car at a different car dealership and I swear we were not going to be able to get out of there without buying a car. Ken made my process so easy that I told my sister-in-law who had a 2006 Mazda about it and the very next day she bought a new car from Ken. Ken is the man.

We went to Walker's Renton Mazda this past weekend looking for a used (and affordable) Mazda 3. Branden Porte was our sales associate and he was very friendly and professional. It was comforting to work with employees that were not "sharking" or acting over eager to sell. All of the other employees were also very helpful and friendly. My one complaint is that the process was quite lengthly.. although since I don't live in Renton and would prefer not to commute back I appreciate the thoroughness. Very happy with my purchase. That's right, our sales associate took some of his free time to pick us up from SeaTac Airport and drive us to the dealership. He took the time to go over all necessary paperwork with us beforehand via mail so that when we touched down, we were able to hop into our new CX-5 and drive off almost immediately. Not that i wouldn't have minded getting the chance to hang out at the dealership more as he was extremely pleasant to deal with, but he knew that we were under the gun for time and went above and beyond to cater to our time constraints.This was our first car purchase, and both my wife and I were a bit anxious to jump through all of the hoops necessary to get a good deal, and to be taken care of properly. We drove to several Mazda dealerships and after the 3rd one asked us in the first 5 minutes: "So do you think that you'll be purchasing this car today? because i can get you a great deal if you want it today." Needless to say we were rather disheartened. So we tried Autobytel to ask for quotes from every Mazda dealership in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho (wow was my inbox jammed full for the next few weeks), and without even having to negotiate for it, i got the best deal from Andreas at Walker's Renton Mazda. Honestly i would have put up with an xxxxxxx salesman for this price lol! But lo and behold, we lucked out with a through, patient, and respectful salesman who took the time to make sure that we were getting exactly what we wanted. Never used any high pressure sales tactics, never even mentioned an upsell of any sort, was an absolute pleasure to do business with.Next time i'm not going to have to deal with autobytel again, if it's a mazda, i know where i'll be getting it from.

I have never had so many helpful, sincere and kind folks who work in car Sales. Lost trade-in keys and kept Registration and didn't tell us, which required a return round trip to retrieve our registration with no apology or fuel reimbursement. I'm not surprised to see good reviews for this place considering I was in line to write one myself. I went to this dealership to purchase a mazda and found the one I wanted. The salesman's job is to make you fall in love with the car and I certainly did, so I went inside and started the paperwork, did a little back and forth until we agreed on a purchase price, lined up the payments, and they even told me I could take the car home with me! After I signed a purchase agreement and thought I locked it in place, I was told I'd have to wait til morning to get the car since it was late and they needed more time to work out the loan. Not a huge deal, I was happy to leave the car there and they were going to clean up the car for me too. Got off work the next day to find out that they sold the car right out from under me that morning. I kept my end of the deal, they couldn't keep theirs. I don't care how much somebody offered them for it, you don't treat customers like that and you don't sign an agreement you don't intend to keep. I will never recommend this dealership. Don't make a deal with them unless you can take it home that day, that way they won't have enough time to screw you over. Thank you for making me fall in love with a car just to tell the person after me that it was still available. Terrible business practice.

I have had some very negative buying experiences in the past with other local dealerships. I had done a lot of research on vehicles and a Mazda 6 was on the top of my list. I went to Walker's Renton Mazda and worked with Lenny. He was very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and fun to work with. The test drive experience was very positive and through. He wanted to make sure we completely understood everything about the car in order to make the best decision. We made the decision to purchase (lease) the vehicle. Lenny was great to work with, and made sure we got the best deal we could on the vehicle we are leasing and also on the trade in. All-in-all it was a great experience. The car that I wanted was not in inventory. They did not try to convince me to take another vehicle. They found the one that I wanted in Tacoma and sent someone down to get it. Wow, what service. They wanted to make sure I left that evening with the vehicle I wanted. They then detailed the vehicle and got it ready for delivery. Lenny was fantastic during delivery. He made sure we understood all the options of the vehicle and made sure all our questions were answered before we left. I would 100% recommend Lenny and Renton Walkers Mazda. Having a good car buying experience is very important and they went above and beyond. Thank you!

A sales manager elsewhere told me this "there's 3 things that stop a deal from going through, you either don't like the car, you don't like the price, or you don't like me" I took that to heart when looking for a car. The entire experience had to be awesome for me to spend that kind of money and commit to a payment like this for the next few years. That's where Michael comes in, he was immediately attentive and didn't even try to take me to the most expensive car on the lot. He was kind, hilarious, and most importantly honest. I could tell he was more concerned with getting me a good deal rather than getting a paycheck off of me. And it's really important to feel that way because the entire world knows that car salesmen get paid commission. When speaking negatively of someones sales tactics they always refer to them as "used car salesmen" because of the poor image that some places perpetuate. NOT THE CASE HERE. They worked with me on the price and payment and didn't make me feel cheap for not wanting to spend more than a certain amount. Everyone my husband and I encountered was friendly, professional and had an air of fun to them. Ultimately it's who I want to buy from, someone who is down to earth and not trying to screw you to make a buck. I went to a couple of dealerships and while I didn't have a horrible experience at either place, they just didn't give me the same attention and level of service that Michael and his crew did. Def visit this dealership, you won't be disappointed! We've made a new friend and have a beautiful new (to us) but practically new car and we couldn't be happier. I not only bought the car, but I bought you guys! Thanks so much! I'll refer you to all my friends!

We went into Walkers Renton Mazda with the plan not to purchase from them. My previous Mazda had been serviced regularly at UW Mazda in Seattle and I had planned on going there to purchase. Walker's Renton Mazda was just closer and convenient for a test drive. Andreas was our Salesperson at Walkers Renton Mazda. He was great to help us find the exact car we wanted to test drive (CX-5). He took us on a nice long test drive that included all types of roads (hills, curvy, flat, hwy, etc) He was attentive the whole trip. (Previous Honda dealership our salesman was on his phone texting while we drove). After the drive I knew we loved the Mazda much more than the Honda we had tested. Andreas worked with us to ensure a fair car deal and even helped us with our trade in at a very fair price. Close to what we planned to sell it for on our own. Needless to say we never made it to UW Mazda for our purchase. Andreas just made the whole process too easy to leave! Manager came out and introduced himself and was very nice. Finance dept was much easier than previous dealerships in the past. No high pressure sales. They do recommend some things but are great and understanding when you say no thank you. I recommend you check out Walkers Renton Mazada and be sure to ask for Andreas Jennings.

I really enjoyed working with Doug and his colleagues at Walkers Renton Mazda. Doug was responsive without being aggressive. From start to deal closing, he was easy to reach by phone, email, and text. Plus, he has a customer first attitude that made it easy to work with him. I know that he and the Walkers Renton team worked very hard to get me the car that I wanted (tight inventory, given my specifics) at a price that I wanted.On the day of the arranged deal close, I set up a time with Doug, and he made sure that everything was lined up and ready to go as soon as I walked in. I finished all of the formal paper work and details in < 1.5 hours. He even delivered the car the next day at my request.Some dealerships haven't adapted well to the new ways consumers leveraging information tools to inform their decision making. On the other hand, Doug and the Walkers Renton people are very much in tune with it. Highly recommend!

I have been shopping for a new car ever since I was 16 (I am almost 23). I've been through many other dealers (Lee Johnson in Kirkland) and many other retailers for Dodge, Chevy, and so forth.. needless to say I was very indecisive since I am on a tight budget like everybody else. I went through the Costco Auto Buying Program and received a very friendly follow up email from Andreas Jennings asking basic questions as to what I was looking for. I was looking for basic, no bells or whistles to add to the cost of the vehicle. But Andreas (over many emails) took the time to understand and wanted to make sure they had the right model on their lot. I met up with him on a drizzly Friday and went for a test drive (my second test drive for a Mazda, went through Lee Johnson Mazda in Kirkland first and I DID NOT like how their customer service was - very money-hungry, shark-like) But Andreas was fantastic, funny, easy to talk to and he provided a great test drive experience! When the test drive was over, I was eager to talk about pricing.. I made sure to specify my needs for low payments and we were able to come up with a price I could afford (and I was able to get the next model up within my budget!) After the paper was signed, I had a nice chat with the Finance guy, Bobby, who answered all of my questions and was a terrific person, very approachable! I had to come back later in the day to have my boyfriend help drive the other vehicle and Andreas and Bobby warmly shook him by the hand and got him psyched about my new car! :) Overall, FANTASTIC Experience!

He was informative, patient on the test drives, and even stayed with us through the entire financing portion of our purchase. He got in the car with us after financing and explained everything and answered all our questions and synced our phones with the car. I texted Andreas and let him know that we would be at the dealership at 12:30 to purchase a Mazda 6. He promptly responded and let me know that he would be there and be ready for us. We arrived a few minutes early and were greeted by one of the sales employees. We asked for Andreas and were told that he would be right with us. Andreas promptly greeted us with a big smile and a handshake and we began looking at several different vehicles so as to decide which one we wanted to purchase. We found the one that we wanted and he immediately went to find a lot attendant to help him pull it out so that we could take a closer look at it. Once we gave the go ahead, Andreas went ahead and quickly began the process of getting the paperwork going. There never seemed to be a long wait for anything during the process.The whole time we were there Andreas was very friendly and personable. He made us feel like we were just hanging with friends. Usually the whole paperwork process for buying a car is brutal but at Walker it didn't feel that bad at all. The entire team seemed to be genuinely friendly and enjoy what they were doing. After buying the car, Andreas took the time to show us all of the features and answer all of our questions even though it was obviously a busy day for him. We will never buy from another Mazda dealer or from another sales person as long as Andreas is around!

I submitted an online quote request and was served by the very friendly Doug, who gave me a very competitive quote. They were in the process of moving from Rainier Ave to Grady so things were understandably a little disorganized. But the people were fairly easy going and the atmosphere, relaxed. We went there looking for the smaller suv/wagon style vehicle (had an outback in my mind) but left with something completely different. We couldnt be happier. Miles were a touch high but the price was fair considering the rest of the vehicle. The salesman Larry Moshovsky showed us what we needed, not what we thought we wanted. I normally dont write reviews, but he asked me to if I felt like it. I guess when you are buying a car it's ultimately the car that makes or breaks a deal, but you can waste a lot of time with someone just trying to offload something or you can work with someone who listens. I came in looking to trade in my Mazda 2 for a Cx-5. AJ was very helpful, and receptive to what kind of a deal I was willing to make. He worked very hard to get me the exact color and features that I was not willing to compromise on. I went to pick up my car the next day after work, and they were very quick to get the service done, car washed, and gas tank filled. When I was picking up the car AJ was not there, but Ken Palmer was there to go over the cars features with me. He was very thorough, and really wanted to make sure that I was 100% satisfied with the vehicle. I would definitely recommend Walker's Renton Mazda to anyone looking for a new car. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. Let me tell you why.A few years ago, I bought a 2008 Mazda 3 here, and was told the aux input worked, it had satellite, 6cd changer ETC. Woohoo! Except no one told me until AFTER I bought the car that the aux only worked if you didn't have satellite, otherwise you had to buy a $300 switch box to make it work, and the dealer refused to eat the cost even though that was a main selling point for me.Fast forward to Nov 23, 2013. My boyfriend was looking to buy a car, so we went to Walkers against my better judgement. While trying to negotiate the price of the car, the sales manager came out and proceeded to belittle my boyfriend for asking for a better price on the car. He was extremely condescending and rude. When my boyfriend told him we just couldn't afford the car for the price they were bottom lining out, the manager said "Well that is a whole lot of car, what did you expect? What are you trying to accomplish here?" Tried to tell my boyfriend that he wasn't pre-approved for his financing that he WAS pre-approved by before we even went to any dealer. The manager asked me "Am I missing something?" to which I replied "Well yes, he said he can't afford the price you're giving him, we don't have any more time today to look at car's we need to get to dinner and you're being extremely rude and condescending to him and we don't appreciate it." His response to that was to crumple his paper up in my face and say "FINE" and walk away from me. When we asked to speak to his manager he said he was the manager and refused to tell us how we could contact the owner of the dealership. I was ready to buy another car from there too but not after this. I would not recommend ANYONE to this dealership. Stay away. The manager Jan Rac is extremely rude and impossible to work with. Laughs at you when you ask to speak to the owner. Not professional at all.The salesman we worked with before Jan brought the black cloud over was Alex Boze and he was extremely nice, courteous, professional and more than willing to help and answer our questions.

We went to Walker's Mazda just to browse and were so impressed with the value and customer service that we ended up buying a car that weekend. The salesperson we worked with was Lenny Wright. Lenny was polite, genuine and committed to making sure we got the car and deal we would be happy with. The service department at Walker's Renton Mazda lack the service. Here is my encounter:Bought a brand new 2013 Mazdaspeed3 and had driven for a couple days and notice the front driver-side brake is making a loud rubbing noise. It seems that the brake pads are rubbing against the rotor without me applying the brakes. At low speed (10-20mhp) I can feel that the car is braking by itself. I decided to call the service dept. and notifying them of the issue. They couldn't get me set me up for service right away because they don't have loaner available. So, I had to wait for 5 days and endure the intermittent noise from a brand new car. Finally, got in to the dealer and had the head mechanic (Phil) inside the car with me to validate the noise. At the end of the drive, it was confirmed by Phil that the noise is coming from the brakes, and he also noted that the transmission is not running as smooth as it should and suggested additive to correct the issue. I pointed out to Phil that the front driver-side brake have excessive grease and he is also acknowledge of this and also thought that was odd as the opposite side did not have any.Two days later I got a call from Brian, the service manager telling me that there were excessive grease on the front driver-side brakes and that it had been worked on prior to their inspection. I confirmed with him of the excessive grease, but it made me feel that they were trying to push the blame on me for tampering with the brakes. Brian later found out the grease had been applied at the port of entry because the noise issue was found during port inspection; and whoever decision was to applied grease thinking that would fix the issue is dead stupid! To make the story short, I have been driven my car for a few days and now it is at the dealer for a whole week pending Mazda headquarter decision on how to remedy the problem. This should had been raised to CRITICAL PRIORITY list and be taken care off right away. Just simply replace the caliper, pads and rotors and I'll be on my way!!!!

My only disappointment was the truly underevaluation of my impecapable 2005 Cherokee Jeep which already had every option available when I bought it. I added TOUCH-SCREEN DISPLAY, GPS NAVIGATION,REAR BACKUP CAMERA, HAND FREE BLUETOOTH, DVD SCREEN, CD, SIRIUS SATELITE RADIO and much more. We setup a time to go in to the dealership, both my wife and I dislike the car buying experience, where you feel pressured into buying something, but the experience at Renton Mazda with Doug couldn't have been more different than we expected. Doug was very friendly, knowledgable and not at all trying to push the cars on to us. I found my experience at Renton Mazda to be the best car purchasing experience I have ever had. The first thing I noticed was that the sales people were not the typical 'car sales man vultures' just waiting for you to step out of your car and pounce on you. I worked with both Doug and Ken and found them to be very professional, respectful of time, well informed (they answered all my questions), and never pushy. I did not make the purchase on my first visit and didn't get the , "I can only make this deal today, the boss is gone and he'll kill me but I really like you and want you to have this car..." line. Alden in finance was most helpful and efficient.I would highly recommend this dealership and these 3 gentlemen to anyone considering a Mazada.

Great experience. Worked with Doug T., who was friendly, efficient and willing to work with us on the price. We had done our research and knew exactly what car, trim level, options and price we wanted. Two other dealers were not willing to work with us on price (we weren't asking them to move mountains, just give us a competitive price), and Doug T. pulled through. Called him on the way from Bellevue to Renton; negotiated price on the phone; chose specific car over the phone; he had it all ready when we arrived. And he exuded graciousness the whole time - not pushy or know-it-all, just friendly, and it actually seemed like he cared more about our interests than his or the dealership's.We didn't have to talk with his manager (you know, the good-cop, bad-cop thing) or the "big boss" and hear crap about how much the dealership would lose to sell us a car at what we were offering. Worked with Doug the whole time and got exactly the price we were hoping for. No games at all, which is incredibly important to me when I'm buying a car.I'd drive hours for such a pleasant car-buying experience!!

I started my new purchase journey through online searches after online searches. I obtained a truecar report which was automatically sent to a few different dealerships. James Morrison reached out extremely prompt, and very interested in learning more of what I needed and what I wanted. I found this was the most captivating way to start the conversation. His email wasn't filled with pages and pages of selling. His response was straight forward, honest and very knoweldgeable. James and I stayed in contact for about a month through email, and all of his responses to all of my knit-picking questions were extremely transparent and honest. Never did I feel as if I was being tricked, or pulled in. I was in control of my deal, and James graciously guided me through his process. I went in for a few test drives, with a New car and a Certified Pre-Owned. I ended up going the pre-owned route, and James was very supportive. I made it very clear that I had made my decisions, and the entire process was painless and very pleasant! His entire demeanour was kind. He is a very nice man, with a down-to-earth attitude. He's not all about making the sale. I felt he understood what I was looking for. And I found it!One bag thing about this whole experience, and this does NOT reflect on James, however, the financial department (specifically Lori Brown and Lap Nguyen) ended up "forgetting" or "overlooking" a few different things in my contract, which resulted in two different meet ups at my place of business. James contacted me on behalf of Lap and Lori and basically NEEDED a signature THEY forgot to get from me while I was at the dealership. Instead of calling me themselves, they pushed it onto James. So when James called, it seemed as though they had an emergency, and the impression I perceived was that I needed to drop everything I was doing and come to the dealership immediately. I stressed that this was highly inconvenient. So Mazda arranged a porter to come to my location to get the contract resigned. The customer service is amazing, and for that reason I would highly recommend this dealer and this dealership!

We had some "glitches" in the sales process of securing the right vehicle, but they made it right and we left with our new vehicle with a very positive experience. I would recommend both James and Andreas - Alden was great during the financing part of the process... which in past experiences has given me a migraine after securing a solid headache from the sales/negotiation process - NOT in this case. All 3 are professional, respectful, and competent.We did visit several other dealerships in the area and received the type of salesmanship that we are "used" to getting when buying a car. These guys are great ... and nobody could come close to the final deal that we got at Walker's Mazda!

I had surfed the net looking for a 2012 Subaru Impreza and stumbled upon one at Walker's Renton Mazda. It was actually a pretty good price so we decided to head down and take a look. Dreading the visit, I was pretty much surprised when Kris took us right to the car without trying to sell us on any of the other new cars out there on the lot. I know what I wanted, and that was that. Kris, being a "Mazda Guy", knew his Subie facts! Even when he was taking an educated guess, he got them confirmed by the Subaru guys later, confirming he was right in the first place! Anyway, long story short, it was a very pleasant experience - way better than we both expected, and we came away with a great new (to us) car! Thanks Kris! (And thanks Joy with helping on the excellent financing!)

We went to Walkers earlier this week to purchase a car for my daughter. We found a nice used Mazda 3 and made the purchase. However, the next day my daughter realized that the car did not have power locks and we returned to Walkers with the concern. The locks were a big deal for her due to the fact that she had just had her previous car stolen which prompted our car search. The first person we contacted was Lori Brown, the finance director, and she immediately took charge of our situation and began exploring options to resolve the problem. She reassured us that my daughter's happiness with her purchase was primary and never made us feel bad for missing the fact that the car did not have power locks. Lori contacted the managers of both the used and new car departments to help us find a solution. We met with several used and new car staff over the course of the next two days and I can honestly say that everyone we met was supportive and helpful. The used car manager even called me on his day off to check on our situation. I can't say enough nice things about the staff that helped us look at other cars that might fit all of my daughters needs. We were treated like friends, which is probably the highest compliment I can give to a business. When we decided to explore new car options, we were introduced to Jan Rac and Andreas Jennings. They were very knowledgeable, excellent to work with, and made the vehicle switch painless. Our experience was such that I can whole heartedly endorse Walker's Renton Mazda. A person typically gets to see the "true colors" of a business or staff when there is a problem or issue that needs solving. Multiple staff went well beyond typical "customer service" and, again, treated us like friends. I'm sure I'll do business with the fine people at Walkers again in the future.

Andreas was great, personable, down to earth, a 'good listener', charming and knowledgeable - and if he didn't know something, he said so, and found out. James (I 'think' I have the right james above - Sales) was efficient and accommodating, he got the job done and he fixed things when they broke - meaning my Blue Tooth had not been setup as expected ... he had it installed ... I didnt' like the setup of the installation ... he had it corrected ... I was given a decent loaner ,,, I mentioned the gas and time it took me to run around to get this done, he filled my tank up personally! :) Great guys, both of them. And a car wash every time I visit ... sorry if that's setting a precedent ;) A quick word about Alden ... I never thought I would say the words "I met a really nice Finance guy at the Mazda Dealership when I bought my car ..." but I did ... I mean really!? These are not always our favourite encounters, and we don't always get close to the results that we want ... Alden... he was on my side!! Or if he wasn't, he did a very good job of making me feel that way. He wasn't pushy, he was good humoured, natural and professional, I didn't feel like he was hiding anything, playing his cards close to his chest at all - he was straight as a di. I felt like he was getting me the best contract, and giving the best service I could. Forgive my being so frank ... but there's no good cop / bad cop being played at Walker's Mazda, they're busy, not frilly, they're earthy, not pretentious .... this is the 3rd car I have bought from this company ... and I drive out of my way to get there. Highly recommend! Oh, adn I just went for my first service there for my brand new MX5 ... fast ... is the word that springs to mind! I purchased a Mazda 3 sport recently from Walker's Renton Mazda. I did my research on the car and test drove it at multiple dealerships before deciding on the car. I then sent out requests for quotes from all Mazda dealers around the Seattle area. I found James Morrison (the agent at Renton Mazda) to be very knowledgeable, courteous and straight forward with the pricing. He managed to not only match the quote from other agencies but also beat them. The most important thing about James for me was that he was knowledgeable about cars and the competition. This was something I found lacking at most of the dealerships. I would purchase again through Renton Mazda and look forward to getting a great deal from James.

James, Jonathon, and Lap were very nice, extremely helpful, knowledgeable about the car and the process of buying it, and the price I got was very good and right on target for my expectations as I had researched the model and made some comparisons. They got the purchase taken care of and I was able to take the car home that day. The really nice thing was that I enjoyed the whole process and loved talking with them and was absolutely tickled about both their service and the car and the way everything had been handled. I've purchased many new cars and used cars over my many years, and I really enjoy saying that this was the most pleasant, easiest, stress free experience I've ever had buying a car. Doug returned my internet inquiry with in the hour. He gave me the bottom line price for the mazda speed over the phone and it was well below invoice and below what Kelly blue book had listed as the "Fair bottom line Price". Went in and saw Doug. He flipped me the keys and let my wife and me take it for a test ride. Came back and did the deal for the phone quoted price. No Bait and switch or games. They matched the best financing I could find so that was easy as well. Even the Finance Office wasn't a hard sell experience.

He was by far the nicest and fun dealer I had met after shopping around for cars the past 2 months. He was respectful, helpful and really knew his Mazdas. Even helped me set up Bluetooth to my phone before we left the dealership. If you want to purchase a Mazda ask for this guy! You won't be disappointed!P.S. Kris- If you're reading this I found out that my I-touch had Bluetooth. I set it up about 1 minute later while I was leaving the lot. e-z-p-z!

This dealership made buying a car easy. They provided me with quotes, even if they knew I wasn't planning to purchas that same day. They did not tell me, "If you want this deal, you'll have to get the car today." Truly a great group to work with. I contacted Doug at Walker's after doing much of my test driving and shopping at another area dealer, and thought it would be wise to at least check with a second dealer to compare pricing. That turned out to be a REALLY good idea. I read so many good comments about Doug here and elsewhere that I contacted him via email, asking him what his best price was on a 2014 CX-5. He responded very quickly and didn't interrogate me for details on what price he had to beat. We shared info back and forth via a few emails over a few hours, and they gave me a surprisingly and significantly better deal on the exact car I wanted. I arranged to come in that day after work; Doug greeted me by name from across the showroom, had my car right there to look at and was thoroughly professional, genuinely friendly and courteous.mhe seems to be the kind of guy who loves his job and enjoys giving people the best wall he can. I am thoroughly happy with the deal he gave me and he made what can often be an arduous or a least somewhat uncomfortable experience a very pleasant one. My only tiny critique, just to try to present both sides, would be that the paperwork process took about 90 minutes instead of the 40 or so he predicted. A tiny issue, of course; this was Friday after work and I'm sure things get hectic. He even washed and gassed-up my car personally because his detail staff was preoccupied, in order to get me on my way. He also, despite it being mid-Friday evening, took every opportunity to answer every one of my questions about features and operation, and even took time to educate me on things I wasn't even aware of to ask about. Just fantastic service all the way around, and I couldn't recommend Doug any more highly. If the service department is equally professional, I'm sure that I'll have a long happy relationship with Walker's. thanks, Doug!

My son had done a lot of research on the internet.We stopped in at Lee Johnson Mazda in Kirkland and then left there feeling that we were treated rather coldly. So we decided to look at Walkers Renton Mazda. We met Ken Palmer there and we sat down with him and discussed what we were interested in. He told us what he had available on the lot. He also showed us what discounts, rebates and financing programs he currently had to offer. None of that was mentioned to us at Lee Johnson Mazda. Ken treated us really well. Having already done some research, we knew which vehicles we wanted to look at. It was a little challenging getting into the lot due to construction, but once we figured out the correct driveway, all was good! The inside was very clean and we were immediately greeted by Lori, one of the finance managers, who saw us first. She directed us to an available salesman, Ken and we had the easiest car buying experience ever. Ken was very professional, not one of those high pressure guys and very knowledgeable about the product. We felt that we got a great trade in price and a very competitive finance rate. The finance department was equally easy to deal with (which at other dealers is not usually the case), and Lap had us all signed and out of there in record time. We spent about 5 hours total there including the test drive and were made very comfortable. There were several offers of coffee, water or soda and although we did not have our children with us, we noticed there was a small kids area which was a nice touch. I was also happy to be able to pre pay for a maintenance plan taking the guess work out of labor hours for the big services and makes it easier to get it done. We would definitely recommend this dealership to others and I'm sure we will be back when it's time to find vehicles for our kids down the road. Great product, great service, great experience : )

When I decided to buy my new Mazda 3, I sent emails to different Mazda dealers and they all responded me back. Doug was the most professional and to the point among all of them. I kept asking him many questions and all the time, his answered not only replied the questions I asked but also gave some answers which I would have asked in my next email. On last Saturday, before going to Walker's Renton Mazda, I went to some other Mazda dealer and test drive the vehicle and got the price. After that I went to meet Doug at Walker's. Although, I had not given him any confirmation that I will visit him, I was surprised, he called me directly by my name as if he knew me for long and was expecting for me at that time. I was impressed. Then he offered me the car key for test drive and did not accompany me. He said go ahead and drive and car as enough gas and come back whenever you want. He even did not see my DL. I was impressed again. The next thing Doug stick to the quote what he offered me in his email which was the lowest. Doug was very friendly and never pushed me for anything.After the purchase too, when I sent an email to him for some query, he was quick to reply. Even the finance department in the Dealership was very professional and not very pushy to buy any extended warranty etc. So overall my experience at Walker's Renton Mazda was very pleasant and Doug was a great person to know and do business with. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Through Edmonds dot com we received a quote for a Mazda CX-5 GT from Doug T. within minutes of pressing the "send" button. Doug's first offer was very fair, and immediately we started working out the details of the purchase together. Doug and I exchanged emails well in to the evening, and by the following morning had 90% of the purchase taken care of and I gave them the deposit. Because the final purchase involved a co-sign (from out of state), this became a "TEAM" effort. Doug and Lori express shipped the documents to us, I flew to Seattle and hand carried everything back where we were met by James and Joy at the door of the dealership with the new car right in front with a big balloon, and looking AWESOME!I wish they were in N. James was professional and new alot about the car we were interested in.James walked us through the whole procedure with no surprises.What was even better no high pressure sales. We had done our research on the car before going in and nothing was unexpected. Lap gave us a great fianancing and got us everything we would want in our monthly payment range. I had forgot my check book and they even let me drive the card home to return with the rest of our down payment. I would highly recommend James and Walker Renton Mazda. We went online to view Mazda, Toyota and Honda midsize SUV's. I found that the Mazda CX 5 was the online favorite so we decided to stop by Walker Mazda in Renton to get a feel for the vehicle. We were both pleasantly surprised by fit of the vehicle on the test drive and the quality of construction. We had excellent customer service. Originally we called in to ask about a car and received all of the information that we needed quickly. When we showed up to see the car, it was clean and ready for us to take on a test drive. The salesman that we worked with was always available when we had questions either through phone or texting. He would respond quickly and get us whatever we needed. When we forgot to bring our checkbook, he followed us back to our home, a 45 minute drive, to pick up the check. Our experience here was a very enjoyable one. The dealership had the exact car we wanted, our saleperson AJ was very knowledgeable and friendly. I had called ahead and when we got there he came out to greet us and had the car sitting there ready for us. After we test drove the car we went inside to talk numbers and they offered us water, not only once but several times throughout. Everyone there seemed to love what they do, everyone had smiles on their faces and were very friendly. We were able to negotiate on our trade and the new vehicle and then we were off to financing where Alden helped us out, he was very friendly and quick, he also had great knowledge of what he was doing. While we were in financing they were getting the car all ready, once we were done with financing Drea took the time to show us how to use the features in the car ie. navagation, back up camera etc. He even took the time to help sync my phone to the car bluetooth. Also to mention they did a good job washing the car, it looked great. Overall it was a great experience, everyone was very friendly and helpful. Would recommend this dealership without hesitation.

I worked for Nordstrom for 15 years, the last 2 for the Nordstrom family members themselves, so I am very familiar with what providing good customer service entails, and these guys have it down. I let Kris know what I wanted in terms of color and options, and he found it and even held it for me for 3 days once it arrived on the lot before I could get down there to finalize the details. Kris explained all the options, paired my phone to the Bluetooth, something very new to me as I had been driving an old car for years!Alden helped us with the financing end, and was quick, efficient and very cordial. My car buying experience was amazing from start to finish! And let's be honest, you don't often hear that. I sent an email inquiry through their website and Kris got back to me right away. I called on my way home from the office that day to see if I could stop by for a test drive. Kris met me at the front door and had the car I had inquired about right in front and ready for me to jump into. The car was AMAZING, had all the bells and whistles that I wanted and cornered like it was on rails! I had already told Kris what I wanted my monthly payments to be and after the test drive we went inside to crunch some numbers. They did everything they could to hit the price that I needed while still getting all the extras (including the color) that I wanted. There was no pressure through the entire process, no changing salesmen when I had questions (seriously, I've had that happen before), and no talking down to me because I was a single female buying a car. Kris even went the extra mile by staying waaaay past the time his shift ended. Needless to say, I left Walker's Renton Mazda that night a Mazda 3 Grand Touring owner. I couldn't be happier with my experience or my new car!!

Stopped by there to look at their stock of cars. The salesman was ridiculous: tried to argue with us about a model, asked us about the financing BEFORE we actually had a chance to look at the cars, would not stop talking as we were test driving ("Nice car! Clean car! Must be one owner! Ready to buy today? Give you a deal?" - as I was trying to listen to the engine). The salesman did not know the price of the vehicle we were interested in, or expected gas mileage, or how many owners ... Finally went into the office to print out the info - and that's when it came out the car was in an accident. Stay away. There are better dealerships in town.

I planned on buying a car from a dealer for the first time ever. I was incredibly nervous because I did not want to accept a bad deal and get stuck with something I was not completley comfortable with. I also did not have alot of play room in my budget. They provided two excellent test drives, very informative and no pressure at all. I then shopped all of the local dealers for the best price via email for my car and trim levels. Of course they were given the opportunity to compete for my business, they communicated all the way through the process. In the end they were extremely competitive and met and beat all my offers. I was happy to return to where I started with the test drive and buy the car. The entire team worked great together to get my car, and they were very reasonable with my trade-in price and made the deal very positive for me. The finance guy was great, no pressure and had very good price points for his products. They also used my strong credit and got me a great 1.79% rate. Sorry to sound too positive and potentially a bit cheesy, but that was my experience over this last weekend. I have an awesome loaded Cx-5 in my driveway - thank you!

We had a great experience with Ken Palmer. We were drawn to the dealership by an advertisement we saw on the website and called to ask a couple of questions. Ken was very friendly and followed up and answered all of our questions. When we arrived at the dealership to look at the car he had it pulled up in front to show us and was also prepared with some comprable cars for us to discuss. He was knowledgeable, helpful and seemed to want our business unlike the Bellevue Mazda dealership which we had visited a couple days earlier. Ken really listened to our concerns and came up with great options and solutions to address those concerns so that the car could meet our needs. We also really appreciated that once the sale was complete, Ken took the time to sit in the car with us and went over all of the features of the car, showing us how to work everything from the windshield wipers to hooking up the bluetooth. That is customer service! Overall we were very pleased with Ken and the Renton Mazda Dealership.

I've just purchased a new Mazda from this dealer and the process was about as relaxed as it could be without having someone else turn up for you.When I first turned up I was greeted by AJ and he was very personable and no pressure at all. He instantly noticed that we had already done a lot of pre-research so got straight to facts and less sell. He was happy to let us test drive the vehicles and the overall experience was just like giving a friend a ride. I definitely didn't feel like I was in a sales situation.When I returned for the purchase for the new car the experience was the same. I had a price in mind that I was happy paying and had an offer for that from a different dealer, but wanted to work with Renton based on location preference. They matched the offer with very minimal back-and-forth to the sales manager. It was nice not to have to go through the 'manager introduction' experience where they come and take over to try and close on the deal. One more positive for the relaxed experience. I was also trading in my current car and they offered me a fair price right away so I didn't even need to negotiate there.As this is a new car I can't comment at all on the service department, but overall I would definitely recommend them for the sale. AJ was great to work with and he was the main reason why Walker's Renton Mazda got my business.

My husband and I were looking for a vehicle with third row seating to fit our growing family. We chose the CX-9 because it had a third row seat that was not compact and easy to access from the front. Andreas greeted us as soon as we arrived and showed us exactly what we were looking for. We told him what features we wanted and he didn't try to up-sell to something we didn't come in for. He was friendly and helpful, and told us from the start that he was a new employee, and that if he didn't have the answers to the questions we needed, he would find out for us. What we really liked about Andreas was that he didn't seem jaded from being in the car sales industry or oily and fake, like most car salesmen we had previously encountered. He was upfront and honest and we felt like we were actually talking to a human being, rather than someone who was just saying the things we wanted to hear. We were also very serious about the price we were willing to pay out the door for the vehicle, and we did in fact reach that goal at Renton Mazda. In addition, the finance manager, Lap, was also very helpful and down to earth, and although it was quite a long experience (as it usually is when purchasing a new vehicle) it turned out to be rather pleasant for us. We appreciate the friendliness of Andreas and would recommend him to anyone who is looking for a no-nonsense approach to buying a vehicle.

The paper work was ready to go and the transaction was quick and easy. Before driving off Ken went over everything on the car again and made sure all my questions were answered. None of the cars have prices listed. This makes shopping on a budget a hard thing to do. We felt like as soon as we got to the lot we were pounced on. When we inquired as to why none of the cars had pricing on them...we were given a smart alec response and I quote "if you don't like the car why talk price"...so we left. After a comment like that we took our business else where... we will not be back.

Jan, James and Breanna all provided excellent customer service. Jan, Explained our options for purchasing the vehicle, trading in our old one and really worked with us to help us get the best deal. He knew I had to get up really early the next day for work so he took care of the paperwork that was necessary to hold the car and then we came back another day to do the financing and pick up the car. He went over the service department with us and went into detail all of the options of the car with our daughter (co-buyer) James helped us select a vehicle - meaning he explained the differences between each of the model types (Mazda 3)Breanna - First of all, she really knows her business. She answered questions we had about the selling of our old car and she explained to our daughter (first time buyer) about what she was signing and why. She was very efficient in processing the paperwork and explained the followup appt that was needed to install the 3M protection.They had patience, answered all our questions and made sure everything was ready when we picked up the car. This is by far the best dealership my husband and I have been to. We've been married 28 years and purchased many vehicles and this is the only one we will be recommending to other people in the future. It was a pleasure doing business with each one of them. I was looking for a new Mazda3 and so I thought based on reviews, Id try these guys out. Wow is all I can say. I talked to Tom the sales Mgr and within minutes litterly had a deal brokered on the phone. It seemed too good to be true and I was skeptical that figures and facts would change when I arrived at the dealership. Not at all! I was met by the friendliest staff and pretty much everything was done and waiting for me. This turned out one of the quickest and easiest transactions Ive ever made and there was never one once of pressure or sales double talk involved. This dealership has my business for anything Mazda related. Doug Truong is a phenomenal salesman ... he knocks down all the stereotypes of a "car salesman" and brings back the professionalism and courtesy of a true customer service agent. This is the second new Mazda I've bought through him and each time was a different scenario. In April of 2011 I wanted a "very very hard to locate, last remaining few, soon to be out of production," RX-8 Grand Touring sports car with stick shift ... and he scored big. Not only did he find one to my exact spec's (with some luck too as they only had 3 in WA and 1 in ID), but he beat the best pricing I found advertised. Last June 2012 I went to him with an even bigger challenge. Get my wife a Mazda3 with the package she wanted, at the best price within the Sate AND take two newer cars off our hands, pay off the loans on them, and give us cash back on the equity. All was done in a matter of 2 hours ... a Truck and SUV traded in, cash out, a new Mazda and we were on the road !This is the place to be if you don't want to be in a lot where you have to "watch your 6" (your back), read the fine print, wonder if they got you somehow, lured you with gimmicks or jacked the price... kind of place. You can count on Doug for a good deal.

I have purchased plenty of cars in the past, and this was by far the best experience I have ever had. I am a very busy working single mom, so trying to talk to someone on the phone or having to spend hours at the dealership was not something I wanted to do. I was impressed that Walkers Renton Mazda would utilize email as a form of communication. Other dealerships would force me to come in. I felt like the experience was hassle free and Duke was such a great salesman. He had a great attitude and was very responsive. He even took the time to program the radio to stations he knew I would like based on our initial test drive. I really appreciate the personal touch he added to the experience.

Bryant was very helpful with selection of the car for me. I visited him 3 times to look at different vehicles available for sale and finally chose CX-5 in the Touring trim I wished to get.However the experience was much spoiled when it came to payment. Before signing the contract I specifically inquired with Bryant if I can pay the amount in full with debit card and his response was positive. After making a deposit and signing the contract with a specific price, once I produced the card for payment I was demanded for $600 extra to reimburse dealer's commission for debit card transaction. I know that Visa specifically forbids merchants from charging customers extra for card payments. So that was a violation of merchant agreement with dealer's bank/Visa and a violation of contract with me. After bargaining I had to settle at $300 charge, because I decided to accept that loss rather than file a complaint with by bank to get deposit back. The original contract was promptly destroyed by Breanna to conceal the evidence, as I understand.I advise everyone not to trust this dealership salespersons regarding final price, but personally check with Finance before making down payment, as otherwise they do not honor contracts they sign.

Incredible experience! I honestly walked into Walker's Renton Mazda yesterday ready for a battle royale as every car buying experience has been from me before now. What I found were genuine, friendly people in all aspects of the process who were fair throught the entire process. Part of my preparedness was a spreadsheet which already had the price I expected to pay for the vehicle and how much I wanted for my trade in. When I arrived he already had the vehicle I wanted to see parked in front and ready for a test drive. I bought a beautiful 2001 Toyota Sienna. Doug answered all of my questions. I found him to be personable, sincere, knowledgeable and professional. I felt very comfortable the entire time. Doug passed me on to Alden Andrews who helped me finish all the paperwork. I received great customer service from Bryan Furse and Jeff Craig. Bryan replaced a driver-side, low beam lightbulb which was very difficult to do myself. He did it as a courtesy (even though I had purchased the lightbulb from an auto store but had difficulty in replacing it). Bryan also accepted a competitor's oil change coupon that had expired 2 days earlier with no problem. Jeff Craig drove me to me place of work (2 miles away) and picked me up after the service was complete. Both were very pleasant and courteous.

Words from a very happy and satisfy owner of a brand spanking new 2012 Mazda CX9. :D With our hearts set on getting a good year end deal on a 2011 model, we quickly realize it was slim pickings because the entire region didn't have any. After blasting emails to all nearby Mazda dealers and getting the response only 2012 models are available, we were very disappointed to say the least and to further compound the disappointment the quotes we got for 2012 weren't great either, they were good but wasn't 2011 get it off the lot good. Just as we were about to throw in the towel and call it quits for the year, I got an email from Doug at Walkers (Renton) and after couple of emails and phone calls exchanges we struck a very reasonable deal (still smiling :D). However, nothing is done until the paperwork is signed, when we got to the dealer and saw our CX9 sitting there waiting for us to take her home and Doug greeting us I notice one of the option I requested, roof rails, were missing. Oh snaps no.. fought traffic with my preggo wife to close the deal to find out is missing an option.... C'Mon Man! Doug quickly got on the horn and asked "da Man" if is possible to add the option to the car ........ pause for a minute and think what would be the likely scenario/compromise ....... A. OK no problem, B. Split the cost C. No can do!, going home empty handed and suffer my preggo wife's staring me down telling me I FAILED without saying it or D. None of the above. ............. Answer is D, I got my rails with no additional cost but I had to install them myself, (o_0) wtf ??? That completely threw me off I didn't expect that but after finding out is only 4 bolts I was pleased, while signing we joked I should have asked for the rails WITH installation in my email. I really appreciated Doug and Walker's Mazda for not messing around and got me out the door with the price we agreed on and didn't play any games. Little bit of drama but everything worked out and under Alden's swift care we got out the door with 0% financing. I would have to say if I had to get another Mazda CX9 I would do this all over again with the exception to specify the rails to be installed.

I had not bought a new car in 17 years, so I did an exhaustive search which included about 8 dealerships and numerous test drives over many many months. This search (and lots of online independent research) convinced me to wait for the new Mazda 3 Skyactiv to be released. At that point I went back to Walker's Renton Mazda, as they had by far been the best dealership I had dealt with to that point. Specifically my salesman Ken Palmer. I never felt ANY pressure from him whatsoever. Just the opposite. He could not have been nicer or more patient with me in the process. He was knowledgeable and upbeat and genuine. I truly felt he meant it when he said he wanted ME to be happy. I know that sounds corny, but with him it seemed very legitimate. I knew exactly the car I wanted after a test drive...and they found it for me in Oregon and had it shipped up immediately. I bought through the Costco buying program and Ken got me an amazingly great price on the vehicle.Janice Barrett in the business department was fantastic, as well. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and thorough...but most definitely not pushy. She did me the courtesy to give me two days to think about whether I wanted the extra service warranties...and when I eventually decided to decline them, she could not have been nicer about it. No pressure whatsoever. Polite, courteous, super nice. Ken's concern for my happiness in the buying experience continued after I bought the car. He has checked on my twice to see how I like the car (which I LOVE). I was treated like gold the other day when I went back to pick up my plates. Of ALL the salesman I dealt with through the various dealerships this last year when I was slowly deciding what car to buy, Ken was by far the most outstanding, decent, honest and nice guy that I dealt with. He was absolutely the reason I chose to go back to Walker's over the other Mazda Dealerships, once I decided on the car I wanted.This is a high quality dealership. I'd recommend it to any of my friends or family. Or any stranger, too, for that matter!

Doug is the internet sales manager. He was super quick responding to any questions. He gave great quotes too, no reason to see another dealership. When my wife wanted to see one more model/color combination, not available in the inventory, he simply went to buy it from the central Seattle Mazda warehouse, without even requesting any commitment from us for a future purchase. The staff overall was very friendly, smiling even when our kids were running around, testing all cars on the display. The processing time was reasonably fast, given the busy Sunday. The business manager Janice was never pushy, offering good insurance deals. Her true friendliness did not change even when we rejected all additional coverage, just because we plan to trade the car before the standard warranty expires.

The quality of the service, courtesy and explanations about the work preformed is always the tops. I wouldn't take my 2009 Mazda anywhere else. I bought it there and always have my servicing done there. Some of the original people that I dealt with have gone on to other things but what I expect and need from a service department remains the same. By the way, I am almost 75, still work every day and I am from the old school way of doing things. That's what I gedt there.

I'll start off by saying I absolutely hate buying cars due to incredibly poor experiences with the entire process (high pressure, sales, haggling, aftermarket arm twisting, etc.).My experience with Doug Truong and Janice Barrett was exceptionally good. I wish my entire car buying experiences in the past had been this good.I contacted Doug via email (through their website) by giving him the model of the car I was interested in with a particular set of options and told him the price I was willing to pay. Though the car was in short supply in this area, he quickly found a match and accepted my offer without any hassle.Doug didnt pressure me to buy a more expensive car, or options I didnt originally ask for.After finalizing the deal with Doug, I spoke with Janice to complete the paperwork. Though she did show me additional options for the car (extended warranty, maintenance, etc.) she didnt pressure me. When I turned the options down, she was polite and friendly. This was in stark contrast to another dealer I bought a car from several years ago that got belligerent with me when I didnt buy the extra coverage.Before taking delivery of the car, I told Doug that I wanted to purchase a few accessories from the parts department. He took my list and gave me a quote that was quite reasonable (which I accepted).Since the car was not in-stock at the time I purchased it, Doug delivered the car to me at work when it was available (saving me a trip back to the dealership).As an aside, I originally visited Lee Johnson Mazda before contacting Doug. My experience there was terrible (but thats another story see my other review).

Tom Ly and Duke at Mazda Renton was very helpful with my recent used car purchase. I wasn't thinking about buying a new car, but when i saw the shiny red Mini, I couldn't resist. Tom Ly the sales manager was kind, not at all pushy, and very respectful of my time, as I did need to do some thinking after seeing it for the first time. Then Duke got the key for the Mini and we took the car out for a drive, we came back and i was Smiling the flow of things in this dealership is something i never experienced before.The dealership is clean and everyone working there was very attentive to my needs. I purchased a New Mazda3 on July 24th 2011. During negotiations I was led to believe a bike rack would be installed on may car as part of the trade deal. At no cost to me as I took a lower trade value in exchange for the Bike Rack being ordered and installed. (They could not offer as much on trade because of a carfax report but they could do this instead.) After 6 weeks of calling and emailing I received an email response from Jamie Franz today saying I missunderstood our deal. The signed paperwork stated the following. Sold as Equipped - Plus bike Rack at internal Cost. His email to me said the following: This is a cut and paste paragraph. Dear Brenda, Hello Brenda I apologize for the eay you feel and I would feel the same way if I was in your position. Now here's the thing, the we owe states that you could buy the bike rack and attachments at internal cost. Whitch means that you can pay for it at the cost it would the sales dept or any other internal department. Now understand about the satelitte radio, that I am new here to Mazda and I just relay information that I am told. So I'm sorry that I made that mistake. That is just what I was told. Nobody here purposely tried or intentionally misled you. Misleading customers is not in Mr. Walker's pledge to customers. We do try to answer every question with 100% accuracy and sometimes this is not the case. So I am very sorry that I was wrong about that but I will be looking into it when I am done with this email.Sincerley, Jamie FranzPlease also note that during the test drive I was told the car was equiped for Satellite radio. Guess what? It is not. When I called Serius yesterday for set up my car has the SAT buttom but is not equiped. (Please see Jamie's explanation above. He was new and did not intentionally try to mislead me and he would look into it for me. I am little worried that this will not be taken care of either because the same sheet I signed about the Bike Rack states car sold as is and I signed it not knowing that it did not include everything needed for SAT radion and not knowing that the Definition of Plus Bike rack at internal Cost meant what Jamie explained to me today via email. I was intentionally mislead by both Jamie Franz and Tom Ly on July 24th and it looks like I am the big looser.

Unlike most other dealerships, I didn't feel pressured into making a hasty decision; everyone was relaxed and made me feel comfortable. The overall sales transaction was extremely comforting. I normally bring blue-book quotes with me during the transaction to alleviate any miscommunications. The sales reps gave me a quality offer for my trade-in and the vehicle I purchased was already priced below blue book value. We shopped around for a new Mazda 5 and went to Walkers in Renton after much research and getting an email from their internet manager Doug. We were a bit skeptical that we would get the best deal from our past experience. We could not have been happier that we did. We did not get the high pressure selling and it was relaxed and the people there did their best to answer our questions. We have two kids and they made them feel comfortable and let them go around the lot and look at all the cars so they had fun while we were waiting on some paperwork. Ken Palmer especially was the nicest person we could ask for to work with and he took care of all our questions and followed up with answers. We have had the car for a month now and what has impressed us is that they have followed up and answered all our questions so it is not just sell the car and goodbye. One simple example - we got our plates and went there to pick them up and Ken was there and had the plates installed himself! I could not have been happier with the experience and this is my 5th car purchase and by far the best experience I have had. I would recommend that you check this place out if the price seems about right - the people want to sell and make the experience pleasent.

The special deal car was already sold out but Duke got us another car with the same deal & made himself available right away to show us the car. I did a lot of research and pricing before I actually decided on purchasing a Subaru through anyone. The irony of it all is that I didnt purchase it through Subaru dealer, I chose Doug-who is a mazda rep. He was the most agressive in pricing/bargaining for me-without the dealer BS that you usually get through most sales people. He gave me no hassle with my trade in, and was very professional overall. First of all, I was able to get a price which was very competative on the phone/email rather than needing to come to dealership (where as most of the other dealers don't give you a good price withoout walking into the dealership) and then my experience at the dealership was also excellent. Buying the new car was one of the more pleasant experience I've had with a dealership. Both the salesperson and the sales manager were both friendly, knowledgeable and had good sense of humor. We weren't planning to shop there, since the inventory of Mazda6 was rather small, and they didn't have the trim we were interested in, but since I was having my car serviced there, decided to take a test drive on one of the available models. They were quickly able to find the exact car we were interested in and promised that they could get the car very soon. So we completed our transaction, including agreeing upon a trade-in price for our 2006 Mazda6, and the new car was ready to drive off when we were done with setting up the financing.As with any car purchasing it helps to make things go smoothly, if you know what you are looking for, the financing terms, and the value of the car you're using as a trade-in.A very positive experience for us.

I called ahead of time about a Mazda3 I was looking at online.Tahir was very friendly and said it was available for me to come look at. I told him over the phone what I was working with and he said he would make it work if I made the hour long trip up to the dealership.Once I got to the dealership I decided on a model with the premium package that was a little more expensive than I had planned, but it was such a nice car! They worked with me to have 0 down and relatively low monthly payments, which was very nice considering I had negative equity on my trade in. Tahir did a fantastic job of getting the numbers just where I wanted them.I had one cosmetic issue with the windshield where some blurry spots were in the line of vision. It was raining the day I purchased the vehicle and Tahir cleaned the window for me and we figured that it wouldn't be an issue. These very annoying blurry spots were still there 3 days later. I took it in to a glass shop in my town and they said it was from someone doing a poor job with a chip repair and that the only way to get rid of it is to replace the windshield, for $500.I called the manager at the Mazda dealership to let him know what was going on and he was more than helpful. He called his boss immediately, and Derick Walker called me a few hours later. He offered to have me pay $100 and they would take care of the rest (replacing the windshield), which they really didn't have to do since I signed the "as is" paper work. So I have an appointment tomorrow at 11a.m., where I'm sure they will take great care of me.I can be very critical of sales people and customer service. Sometimes I can be that naggy irritating customer that no one wants to deal with, but Tahir worked with me on the price, got me a great car, a great interest rate, and the management is fixing the one SMALL cosmetic issue I had with the windshield. They really are a great dealership and I would send my friends and family there, which says A LOT coming from me.I've purchased 3 cars from dealerships and this was by far my best experience. Thanks for my sweet new ride and low monthly payments! I'll be back next time I'm in the market to purchase :)

I received a letter from a local Nissan dealer offering me 115% of fair blue book value for my 2006 Mazda 6 for a trade-in. I'm not interested in buying a Nissan, but had been wanting to upgrade to a CX-9 for a while and called to see if it was possible to get the same sort of deal with Mazda without really increasing my payments. Not only was I offered an incredible deal, the finance department worked with me to get me a deal on GAP coverage to keep my payments low. The staff were all extremely friendly and very sweet to my girls who are 2 and 4. It was a great experience for all of us and we got everything taken care of in a timely manner. I was super excited to drive my new car home, and I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking to buy a vehicle.

I just purchased a 2011 Mazda3 from Doug Troung at Walkers. I had to purchase a new car since my 2008 Mazda was totalled in a rear end accident. I had purchased the 2008 also from Doug at Walkers three years before. When we walked into Walkers, Doug recognized us immediately which was impressive since we had not seen him for three years. We were very happy that he happened to be working that day.Doug was gracious, kind, and attentive without being pushy. We were happy that Walkers was able to give us a "loyalty" discount of $500 since this was our second purchase with them. We were also pleased with the excellent offer for 0.0% interest fee and no penalties for early cashout on the purchase, since we plan to use the settlement offer from the insurance company and pay the difference in a short period of time. This was a major factor in our decision to purchase a new 2011, rather than a certified older model.However, probably the biggest factor in our purchase was Doug's excellent salemanship and custormer service. During both purchase experiences, we had visited other dealerships and were simply unimpressed with other salesmen. We really appreciate Doug's good manners, upfront salesmanship, and willingness to help us with any issues. I would absolutely refer friends and family to him for their next Mazda purchase.

Doug was a fantastic person to work with, i was on the the market for a new car and i had a good handful of dealership bidding the price down over 2 weeks. Many of them got angry/aggressive or slow in responding. Doug was the leader in both price competitiveness, friendlies, and extremely quick response time. He was even replying to email 4 in the morning!!!! After he won the bid, i went into the dealership with great great skepticism and expecting the worst possible situation. That was not the case at all, the car was there as promised, the specific model and the price was exactly what we have ironed out over the email. I was in and out of the dealership in about 1.5. hrs. I couldn't drive the car back the same day as I was in a rental, Doug provided the same day drop off service. He drove the car to my apartment later that night and handed me the keys.I had a great time working with Doug, it was very straight forward with 100% transparency. Long story short: Duke was great. We didn't feel hustled, rushed or pushed in any direction. He heard what we were looking for, found us something we liked and gave us a fair deal on it (according to the third-party independent sites we'd checked). My family and I have made several new car purchases through Doug T. Since we have been returning customers, he has always treated us well. Unlike other salesmen, he has been pretty patient with us and made us make the call on our decisions for the sale. If you also know the numbers, he will work with you to get the best deal that they can provide. My first car-buying experience was with Doug. At the time, I was just looking for a car that I can get for a really good deal and a low monthly rate that I can manage. I was not that picky about the color of the car or what it looked like. I eventually started negotiating a deal for an Mazda3 i Sport sedan. I actually was there for quite some time, making sure I understood everything I was signing before making the sale, and he was very patient with me. When I had questions about totals and numbers, he was more than happy to explain to me what I was getting myself in to.When the time came for me to look for a second car, I was a bit pickier this time. I decided to go for a Mazda3 s Sport hatchback...in celestial blue (I was very adamant about the color)! It was everything I wanted plus more. Even though I did some thorough research of my own on the make and model of the car, since we had worked with Doug before, he just cut right to the chase on how I could take the car home at the dealership. It did not take longer than an hour or so to get the paperwork squared away. And before I walked away, he even demonstrated to me some of the new features that my new car had that my old car didn't.My experience with Walker's Renton has been pleasant and comfortable. I never felt like I was being harassed to buy a car or talked down to for not understanding the costs or paperwork. There were no surprises about additional fees or anything like that because we also asked the right questions. If I ever intend to buy another car, I woulde definitely look in to doing business with them again.

I needed an SUV now and was interested in a Forester, when I found out that Walker's owned the Suburu dealer I was so happy to be able to buy from Doug. Always great customer service. Jeromy is great at what he does; very welcoming and friendly. Techs were quick to take my car in the back to get worked on. Only did an oil change this visit but they completed my car in about 40 minutes while I waited.

Hello! They were formally friendly, which would allow me to go back anytime. They knew my car better than me and made me feel welcome as soon as I walked in. My car seemed to have had different issues, Rey and Gary were always pro-active in identifying the causes of the problems in my car. They were always very good in allowing me to use car-loaners as my car was being fixed. Great dearlership!!

I knew what I wanted, contacted the dealer for a quote on my trade and was treated very well. I actually had an appointment with another dealer to see my trade that had a similar price for their auto and the treatment was night and day difference than what I received from Danny and Duke. I would recommend this dealer to anyone looking to purchase a car.

Purchased a new Mazda from Duke at Walker's Renton Mazda yesterday. Sales price was negotiated in one quick email for a great price. Arrived for the test drive and the car was waiting outside the dealer all ready to go. Test drive done, fill out some paperwork, did the financing, and out the door. From arrival to leaving with the car a little over two hours. Since I was not trading in my current car Duke drove the car back to my house in rushhour traffic (now thats service).Overall this is exactly how car buying should be. Zero sales pressure, zero sales nonsense, friendly staff, and a great buying experience.

Reynalda has helped me and assisted in our service of Mazda CX-9 on many occasions. She is always very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The car itself has had a few issues - but, since we have extended warranty - this Renton service dept has done the work with professional care to detail. It is very nice to work with a female service advisor. As a woman I have had several not so great experiences with male service advisors at other dealerships behaving like bullies, so it's refreshing to have the option to work with another female. Rey Brown is great, fair and very knowledgable. She has gone out of her way to help me with my car on several occasions.

Very Professional and down to earth staff, the best auto buying experience I have ever had in my 40+ years of buying cars. The fact that this dealership offers free oil changes is a very big incentive to purchase a car there. I will recommend Walker's to anyone I know who is looking for a new or used car.
