1 Star customer service is being generous... My husband and I were looking for a nice sedan when a 2018 Kia Stinger GT1 caught our attention parked out front. The sales gentleman was nice enough although we later found out he told us some lies about the car. We test drove the Stinger GT1 and became fairly quickly impressed with it! We were not familiar with the car and so we did a little internet recon. Upon looking online we found it was a great car and that there was the exact same car 1 hour away with 18,000 less miles listed for $2,000 less. We pointed it out and we were immediately told by the sales manager if we had the gas money to get there to go get it (okay buddy). Shocked and disappointed we did leave and drive the 1 hour to Doug smith Kia in American Fork, UT where we received excellent customer service. We proceeded to buy not the 2018 GT1 with 18,000 less miles but a 2022 model with only 25 miles! The tone and the attitude at Wasatch Kia in Riverdale, UT was rude and basically can't be bothered. If we could not find a middle ground on the car we were certainly ready to look at other options. I have never been dismissed or insulted in this way in any dealership before. The manager told us there was a Grand Canyon between us and apparently the price of the car?!... there is a Grand Canyon between the manager and common decency. We will never return there and certainly will not be using them for future service on our new 2022 Stinger GT1!

DO NOT GO HERE. Worst experience ever. First time car buyer with my 20 year old and it was awful. They lack honesty and integrity. They have a "check the box" attitude, and they completely disregard customers. They will conduct business on your purchase out of earshot and behind your back. WARNING- review your purchase closely. They will charge you for things that they state are included in the purchase price, and will do nothing to make it right when addressed. They simply offer an apology and a statement about how they'll do better next time. Not worth the hassle. Go elsewhere.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I had my ‘13 Optima engine begin to knock because of the recall. I had my vehicle into the dealership the next day, with promise by the service department that I would receive a call from Edwin within 2 days. I dropped it off on Wednesday, and by Friday the next week I hadn’t heard from him. I called and he told me there were other cars in front of mine and he didn’t know when he would have it in the shop. I heard that same story for the next 3 and a half weeks. For me, not knowing if I would be paying for a new engine or not, I was extremely stressed. I asked over and over for updates, and always got the same answer. “There are other cars in front of yours, I hope this week. Then the next week would come with no answer. I happen to work in a Ford service department. I understand how the process goes. I know there is an order, but this advisor was inpatient, not understanding, and rude. I filed an official complaint to Kia Corporate and they told me I would receive a call from the parts and service director to discuss my issue, but I received no call. The day my car was finally done, I had a family drive my wife and I an hour and a half to the dealership to pick up my car. Edwin promised the store would be open until 8 pm, but when I arrived at 7 there was no one around to help me. I have never received such terrible customer service, I will never own a Kia again, and I am listing my car to avoid further issues with Kia. Also the courtesy was decent, but the vacuum did not happen

I can’t say enough about Edwin and his crew. I came in for a scheduled oil change and a Recall fix. Last minute, I added a transmission flush and asked for a needed tire rotation. What could have been a couple hours ended up still just one hour. Then, forgetting my coupon for discount on oil change at home, Edwin found a deal for me that covered the cost of my oil change. Just Edwin’s kindness and willingness to go above and beyond is what keeps me coming back. While waiting for this work to be done, I intentionally sat waiting by the Service Department so I could listen to the interaction and conversations with other customers. They are so professional and put customers quickly at ease. I often feel intimidated at car dealerships and service departments but these guys make it so much easier. Kudos to the young lady and young man behind the counter. Thank you!!

I wish I would have negotiatedone instead of taking the first offer. It seems like my payment is really high and I had said to keep it lower by 100 bucks. Kind of my fault. I did find out that my daughter bought a 2014 soul the day before and they sold it to her $2000 over Kelly Blue Book value. So be careful.

Please take the advice of most of the reviews and avoid this dealership at all costs. I recently purchased a new Optima from them and had the worst car buying experience of my life. Half of the words that came out of every employees mouth were outright lies. From the specific lies about features of the car to charging us $400 for their pointless rear brake upgrade they put on all cars to charging us just to get a key for the car. I will never buy from this dealership again. If you need a Kia then head further south, you absolutely will not regret it.

I had a total loss on my previous car and the settlement came faster than I anticipated meaning i had to turn in my rental car the next day. (SURPRISE) I have had a few friends recommend Kia as well as the Cutrubus automotive group. So after work I drove a few other cars before heading to Kia I wanted to be sure it was what I wanted. I arrived and kevin introduced himself to me. I explained my situation with credit (I had just bought a house and used my credit cards to buy furnishings so I was a lot lower score than I typically am) He pulled in the sales manager who promptly went over my needs in a vehicle had Kevin pull up a few options based on our financial discussions. He explained to me that my score had me posting 11% for a loan but he found a way for me to lease a brand new 2015 for half that rate. I drove a used Sportage then I drove the new one. I am glad made the choice to come to Wasatch front I was transparent and the completely reciprocated. Last but not least I walked into finance waiting to get the gates flooding open different numbers than we discussed or hard sells on extra crap I couldn't afford. To my surprise I sat down and explained that they had secured the numbers we agreed on on the sales floor. He then had me sign required documents which he helped explain in detail what I was signing before I signed. Finance was a breeze I was in and out in under 15 minutes (in the past I think i averaged 50 minutes? )

This was absolutely the worst car buying experience of my life! If I could give zero stars, I would. My transaction was full of misrepresentation and unethical business practices on the part of the dealer. This review is long I have a long list of issues with Wasatch Front Kia and if you are considering purchasing from them, read the whole review. I bought a used vehicle in December 2015 from Wasatch Front Kia.First, there was a smoke smell in the car when we test drove it. I told the salesman that if we were going to buy the car, they would have to treat the smell. He agreed that would be part of buying the car we even both signed a conditions paper for this, although they never gave me a copy. The smoke smell was supposed to be resolved before we picked up the vehicle. It was not, but they promised theyd take care of it that week. It took me over 10 phone calls and nearly 4 weeks to resolve. Second, the face of the contract doesnt add up. Line 1 is purchase price of the car. Line 2 is for their pulse system (see #4 below for more on that). Line 4 had Autoqual but no amount. Line 6 said add Lines 1-5. Line 6 does not equal the sum of lines 1-5. In fact it is $448 higher than the amounts stated on the face. The first time I asked the finance manager on the phone, he told me that the charges were a bunch of miscellaneous AutoQual related charges, but would not elaborate on what those were. Later, on a different phone call, he told me it was a 2 year AutoQual interior warranty. I have asked for a WRITTEN detail/explanation of the $448 charges on multiple occasions and none has been provided. I have made my request both verbally and in writing. Each time I talk to someone about it, I get a different story. I never agreed to a 2 year autoqual warranty. I don't want it. I was not told about it. I was not given an option to decline it. The amount was not disclosed in writing on the contract, yet I was charged for it = Misrepresentation, hidden fees, and unethical business practices. I requested a refund for the $448 funny that this request is what they choose to respond to in writing we cannot refund the charge. No other explanation, still no written description of what the charge is for, still no real reason why it isnt shown on the face of the contract, just no.Third, when I sat down to work out the details of purchasing the vehicle, the sales guy wrote $14k on a paper, crossed it out and wrote $13k and told me that hed taken $1000 off the price. The vehicle was listed online on KSLs website at the time for $13k = Misrepresentation and unethical sales tactics.Fourth, the sales people told me that all their cars come with the pulse system on the center rear brake light. They said I simply needed to sign a paper. They did not disclose the price tag of $399 nor did they disclose that this was an optional item. When I saw the charge on the contract they told me Id already signed and agreed to that. = Misrepresentation/unethical sales tacticsFifth, the face of the contract quotes Utah state law:If seller is not able to arrange financing within the terms disclosed, then seller must, within seven calendar days of the date of sale, mail notice to the purchaser that he/she has not been able to arrange financing. Purchaser then has 14 days from the date of sale to elect, if purchaser chooses, to rescind the contract of sale, pursuant to section 41-3-401.The contract of sale was dated 12/11/15. Why then, did I receive a letter dated 12/31/15 stating we are sorry to advise you that we cannot provide credit to you at this time or that we cannot provide credit on the terms you requested.? The letter arrived in my mail on January 8, 2016. When I talked to the finance manager he stated that the letter was simply system generated and that I had nothing to worry about. I wonder if the rejected credit application goes out to all their customers or if something was up with my loan. Either way, it doesnt appear that either their system isnt set up to follow the law (letter dated 20 days after contract vs. 7 days per the law) or their system is garbage that sends out unnerving letters to customers that state their credit application has been denied. Also, nowhere in the letter did they explain that I could elect to rescind the contract of sale due to the rejected financing at that point I would have taken the car back and put it on them, but the overall 21 day period per the law was over. A letter from the credit union with my approved financing arrived January 12, 2016 a full month after the date of purchase.Sixth, last week I had to put new rotors on the front of the vehicle because the brake system was grinding them to pieces - the same braking system Wasatch Front Kia represented had just been checked over and mostly replaced by their shop when I purchased the vehicle. The shop I did take my vehicle to (who I know and trust) indicated and showed me that a very cheap plate had been installed and had failed and there was severe rotor damage. Most people don't expect there to be significant problems like this within 3 months of purchasing a vehicle from a dealer, especially in an area they represented had just been worked on.I will never do business with any Cutrubus owned company again and I intend to share my bad experience with others in every way I possibly can. MVED complaint for misrepresentation and BBB complaint for unethical business practices/hidden fees goes out next week.

Long story short, my 2014 had a manufacturer defect, which my car IS still under warranty. I took it here to get it fixed, they told me it'd be 5 days, this being the only way to get around i asked about a rental/loaner, since it was under warranty and all, well apparently they don't pay for them? Which made no sense to me, so I made few phone calls and was referred to Young Kia whom had a rental waiting for me that night even though they didn't get my car until the following day cause Wasatch Front Kia wouldn't put my car back together that night. But the way Mark IN service talked down to me and made me feel like the problem was my fault was horrible customer service. I will never go there again and I will pass my experience on to everyone I know.

In the two and a half years since I've bought my car here I have never been happy with the service. They never informed me of when I needed to do the big maintenance checks for the fuel injectors or anything else. Every time I've called to schedule an appointment they are "completely booked for the next week so can we put you in two weeks from now". When they took the badges off my car to put on the others I purchased from them they completely chipped the paint on my car and never said anything about chipping it, I'm sure because they hoped I wouldn't notice... When I noticed this happened right after they put them on they said "we order you a paint pen and you'll get it in 7 days so you can fix it" they never offered to fix it, I had to fix it myself. They're customer service sucks and I will never go here again, far less recommend people to go here, I will tell them to avoid them completely and go somewhere else because they're service is far from acceptable. After going here for two years thinking "it will be different this time", it never has been so I'm done giving them my business

Went down there from Cache Valley to just look. My sister has a KIA Sorento that I have rode in several times and I love her car. Bought a KIA Sorento 2016. Was wanting to trade my 2007 Ford Escape but they were only going to give me 2700 for it. Sold my car myself in 3 days for $5000. Overall experience was good.

Bought a Kia Optima from them and the spare key is not programmed to my car.I went in today thinking that, since this was in no way my fault, I would get the key programmed at no charge.She told me that I had to pay $50 because it was my fault I didn't notice it sooner.

On 11/22/2014 I took one of my Kia's for routine maintenance (oil change/tire rotation). Even though the 2006 sportage is out of its 5 yr warranty period, I still take this vehicle for its service to this dealer. After checking the vehicle in, my wife and I went into the waiting room. We were the only customers there and the TV was on. I changed the channel to watch FOX news. Approximately 15 minutes later a woman came in and sat fiddling with her iphone. Shortly thereafter, A saleman approached and asked if I was watching FOX news. I replied "Yes I was, whats wrong with watching FOX news." He replied, "It is the policy of this dealership that this channel will not be watched." I again asked "whats wrong with watching FOX news channel." He replied, " all they do is report bad news." I told him all news channels report mostly bad news. Meanwhile he picked up the remote control, channel surfed until he found ESPN, stating this TV was on the football channel, enjoy the football game, and he walked away. Meanwhile while the college game was on. my wife continued to read magazines, the woman with her iphone continued to fiddle with her phone and I sat there completing what just occurred. I guess I wronging assumed that the TV in the wating area was for the customers satisfaction/viewing on the channel he/she wanted to watch while waiting for their vehicle . Shortly thereafter, my vehicle was finished and I was getting ready to leave. I went back to the salesman and told him I had a suggestion. I told him "If it is your policy and/or this dealerships policy that certain channels are not to be watched by the cutomers of this dealership, that you should pick up the remote and use the lockout feature and block all the channels you do not want the customers to watch". I went and paid my bill for the services completed and it was then that I learned that the salesman was actually the manager. I told the service manager I was a very unhappy customer, being dictated to what I could/could not watch on TV while waiting for my vehicle. I also told the service manager, today is the last time I will ever use this dealership to service either of my two kias or will ever purchase a vehicle from this dealership again. It may be petty, but customer service is a big part of providing service and dictating what a customer can watch on a TV thats supposedly for customer use does not fit in with excellant customer service.

We were selling our car on a local site. I received a phone call from them wanting to buy the car. They knew the details and I told the gentleman on the phone we wouldn't be budging on price because that is the amount we owed on it. He said not a problem and told me to bring it in. My husband got there and they low baled him by $3k. Really?! You knew the price we wanted before we even got there. The car is in excellent condition. You have just lost any future business of ours and anyone else I talk to.

My wife and I went in the beginning of August looking at new Kia Optimas with no intention to purchase a car as we were comparing vehicles at the time. The salesman who came to help us was knowledgeable about the vehicles and let us take a 2014 Optima SXL for a test drive. Although it wasn't the color we wanted he stated, "I need to make room for the 2015's. Give me 10 minutes of your time and I'll make you a deal you can't refuse" so we figured we'd give it a shot. I told him that I wasn't here to waste my time and if the "deal" wasn't worth it, we'd walk out. 10 minutes later he came back with a number. The cost of the car was only $1800 less than the sticker price. Mind you, I already qualified for $1500 in factory discounts. This figure was a joke, especially after doing my research and knowing what the MSRP was as well as the invoice price. When we got up to leave he tried to have us sit back down for so he could "see what else he could do". As we were walking out, the salesman was yelling at us in front of all of the other customers and sales staff for us to give him our price. No thanks. If that's the way you're going to lure in business and troll people for sales, I'll take my business elsewhere. So we did. We went to Young Kia in Kaysville. No jokes, no gimmicks, straight forward price (on our terms), and we got a 2015 Optima SXL in the color we wanted for less than our "price we couldn't refuse" at Wasatch Kia for a 2014. I'll never visit any Cutrubus dealerships again as we had a similar experience at Cutrubus Cadillac a few years earlier.

I went here with my co-signer today for a used 2013 soul. We submitted our credit application a few days ago and were approved before coming in to test drive. Our rate was good enough to consider some new vehicles so I took the opportunity to check out some fully loaded brand new soul exclaims. I decided I wanted new and after about an hour of negotiation we go to a comfortable number. We finished ALL our paperwork in shop, exchanged some stories and laughs, and I honestly felt like this dealership will not jerk me around like the last. I am more than satisfied with my car and with Jared, Danny, and the new finance guy (forgot name sorry man!) and they way they treated me, even though this is my first car or anything in my name. We highly suggest doing the credit app early and going to see these guys. Amazing service, not pushy, and great communication all around.

sales department managers forget to enter lines on the computer after you start signing your agreed price and monthly payments. so than they of course go up to payments you had said you did not want in the first place. I love the kia i bought but do not feel i got the best deal. it felt more like a sales mans gimick. also when i asked for a second key they could not find one but the sales guy that sold me the car put in the comment of "well i did put $15 in the tank for your test drive!" (the tank was on empty when i drove off the lot) So if you dont mind playing sales games, a empty tank on the car you just bought, and than the fix it ticket you got cause they also forgot to fix/and or tell you about the recalled brake lights on the car, than buy all means go to these con artists. How ever there service / repairs guy is honest and straight forward and i will still continue to take my kia to him (mick).

Would never buy a car from here again. No give on prices. Sales manager was a jerk and condescending. Finance department was a joke. It was a holiday and they couldn't talk to a bank. Fine... I was told they would talk to someone the next day because they were just going off of book rates, and since they are a dealership they should have some relationships with banks. They didn't do anything the next day and basically said too bad it's already done. Refinance it yourself later, even though all they had to do was pick up the phone. So they didn't keep their word. Gave us a bad deal on trade-in as well. So why did I end up buying from them? They had the make/model/color we wanted which was very rare at the time. We would have had to order it in from Korea and it would have taken months to arrive and we couldn't wait. I've bought several new cars (which usually isn't a delight) and this was by far the worst experience, so that is saying something. If you want to purchase a new Kia, GO ELSEWHERE!

This place has caused my husband and I nothing but stress for three weeks. We test-drove a few cars, and ended up attracted to the 2013 Kia Soul. We never thought we'd get a new car, but they told us they could get us a great deal. We went inside and went over the numbers with the salesperson and the manager, and they took our information and ran our credit. We were assured up and down that everything looked great and they could definitely get us approved for the monthly amount that we were comfortable with. They then gave us the keys, and let us take the car. Mind you, this was after spending over 5 hours in the dealership waiting for the one finance person they had on hand to get to us. Eventually, we had to leave, so they told us to come back the following Monday to get everything wrapped up (this still took over an hour). Two weeks later, they still hadn't gotten us approved anywhere. We spoke with the manager at the dealership and the banks they had contacted, getting completely different stories of why we weren't being approved. Now, 3 weeks after getting the car, they are asking us to either pay a MUCH larger monthly amount than they had originally quoted us. If we don't want to or can't do that, we will have to return the car. They are also threatening to charge us for the miles that we put on the car. My husband has bought 8 cars in the last 10 years or so, and he has NEVER had an experience like this before. Avoid these guys!

I purchased a 2012 Kia Soul, and so far, I've loved it. The salesmen were great, the finance people were awesome, I was quite pleased with the service...until I took my car to the service department to fix some warrantied issues. Mick, the service adviser was very courteous and helpful, but Steve, the service manager, was absolutely terrible. When I approached him and asked him his name, he stuttered and stammered and avoided giving me his name for a solid five minutes. I informed him that I was unhappy with the service I had received, and he acted like it wasn't important. While I was trying to speak to him, if the phone would ring, he would ignore me and answer the phone. After TWO HOURS of me trying to communicate with the man, he promised a refund for the unsatisfactory service, and that he would reimburse the card I used shortly, and that I could be on my way...It's been two weeks and I still have not received my refund. I have never been so displeased with a business in my life.

They wanted to change our sales contract after fourteen days of ownership.We had to go back and get our old car back and the money we put down back.They then wanted money for the use of the vehicle even though it was their fault.They messed up the contract not us, as we both signed the contract that they said was final and approved.They are sneaky and only want your money. They told us they would pay off our old car within ten days and it has now been fourteen.
