I traveled from Elkhart Indiana to Chicago for a car I didn't end up liking. My husband and I looked at another car and talked finances and trade in value for my current car. This process took a couple hours and our salesman, Garrett, was very kind and patient with us. He worked with us on every aspect we asked him too and he was awesome. They show false ads online and once you reach the office, they report the vehicle is sold. I traveled 100 miles from Milwaukee and all the way in inquired whether the vehicle is available and once I reached there they said it was sold. When inquired abt the time it was sold they said they dont store the time. I even called the office 2 days after this incident and they said the car is available. So please stay away from this dealer.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!! ESPECIALLY UBER DRIVERS! They are scam artist at their best. They prey on customers who are not savvy to new or even pre-owned purchases. I will also be filing my complaint with Nissan Corporate, The Illinois Attorney General's office, Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation, and the Federal Trade Commission. It is time to stop corrupt people from preying on our communities to make a buck.So here is the beginning to end of the failed transaction:I called Western Ave Nissan 2 days ago and asked to speak with the Uber Partner Manager. I was patched through to Sam Garay. I explained to him that I had been approved by Uber Xchange Leasing (NOT Access) for up to $20k on a new or pre-owned vehicle. I explained to him I had found a vehicle on their website that met all of mine and Uber Xchange's requirements. He pulled up the vehicle to ensure they still had it in stock, I made an appointment with him for today to test drive the vehicle and possibly take possession. We talked about the reduced Internet price and I was quoted for approximately $160 a week for the Uber Xchange program based on his knowledge of previous agreements. Upon arrival today, I met with Sam and he found the vehicle and we took it for a test drive. It fit everything I was looking for, so I decided to do the paperwork. After the paperwork was completed, he left and said he would be back momentarily. He came back and stated that Uber was requiring a $1500 deposit on the vehicle. I explained to him that Uber only requires $250. He stated that Uber was requiring the $1500 because they will only finance "so much" and it was my responsibility to cover the rest. He then said he could get me into a 2016 Nissan Altima (Car Cost about 10k more than the 2012 Rouge I was looking at) for only $250 down. I told him absolutely not. That I came for the Rouge, and I was leaving either empty handed or with the Rouge under the Uber Program. I got up to leave, and he asked me to wait while he went to speak with his manager. While he was away speaking with the Manager, I called Uber Xchange and asked them to look at my account and asked about the $1500. The agent at Uber Xchange said they would never require $1500, only the $250. He look at my account and said there should be no problem with me getting the Rouge today. He attempted to call the dealership and speak with someone, but was placed on indefinite hold. When the Salesman, Sam, came back, he was accompanied by the Sales Manager, Booker. Booker wanted to know what the problem was because "he wanted my business". I told him the problem was simple, that the dealership is not honoring Uber Xchange Leasing terms and trying to charge $1500 down instead of the $250 required. He stated that he was unaware that I was looking for Uber financing and then told me I could only get a 2016 Altima or 2016 Sentra. He stated his dealership refuses to sell used vehicles under the Uber Leasing Program. I told him that I was dealing this his dealership and asked for my documents back because Uber Xchange already has all my info. I wanted to make sure that my information is protected at all times. He refused to give my information back stating he couldn't give me any of the paperwork that had Western Ave Nissan's Logo on it and chastised the salesman who gave me the original copy of what I signed because I refused to return the copy. I then followed up with Uber Xchange after I left and they suggested to not deal with that dealership again an d to try a different dealership. The Uber Xchange agent also took all my information including everything that happened and stated he was forwarding it to his manager. End of failed transaction...Bottom line is to stay as far away from this place as you can. #baitandswitch #conartist #WesternAveNissanRipOff

After getting an on-line price guarantee, my wife and I arrived to the dealership after driving 30 miles. The sales person who was friendly took us on a test drive and we were ready to complete the deal. Upon our return to the dealership, we were involved that the care presented to us was a different VIN number than the one with the price guarantee. They wanted us to pay $3000 higher than the on-line price. We indicated that the on-line price was the most we are willing to pay otherwise we were not interested. The sales manager Mr Brooks came to us and said do not leave, I want to earn your business and we will make it happen. He left us waiting for 90 minutes after which a gentleman who identified himself as the general manager (name unknown) came to us and informed us that they will not honor the on-line price. I explained to him that there was no need to keep us waiting for such a long time since we made our position clear from the first minute. It was the most disrespectful attitude towards our time and our rights as customers. We will NEVER go back to that dealership again. They wasted 2.5 hours of our time plus a 30 mile commute each way.

By far the worst experience ever. I was cheated out of what I was supposed to get for a trade in and then to add insult to injury they tried to make me pay more money than I was supposed to. They are deceitful and all they care about is making a sale. They lie even when they get caught in the lie, they just keep lying. I loved the car they put me in but not enough to allow them to SCAM ME!!!!!!!!!

Buyer Beware! Bought a used car on January 28, 2015. Bought a 2007 Impala for $2,680. Paid with cash. I put $2,000 into the car. My goal was to sell the car and make money. I drove from Iowa to get the car. They were supposed to send me the title in the mail. 2 months later; they refuse to give me my title. They stated that there was a lien on the car for $5,000 and they refuse to pay off the previous lien on the car. They openly violate the contract we signed by refusing to pay off an old lien. They want me to bring my car back and refund me for the price of the car. They want to resell my car for a higher price so they can pay off the lien and not lose money. Do not do business with these people; they are the worst.

Saw a listing for a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica 2WD for $3,000.00. Price was excellent. Even had great feed back via email. But they neglected to report to us (until AFTER driving over and hour and half) that this vehicle that we had a SCHEDULED appointment for WAS ACTUALLY NOT for sale yet. Totally disgusted and frustrated. Wasted gas, money, and time. I WILL NOT be recommending nor returning.

On the day I visited this dealership, it was functioning like a circus. There were people everywhere and extremely loud music inside. I had an awful experience with a salesman who attempted to intimidate me into buying a car by insulting my intelligence, then had to deal with the Sales Manager who attempted to "shuck and jive" me into a sale. Where to begin? I have been working toward getting myself a car. My parents offered to help me out, but I wanted to do it independently. I start my senior year at the end of August and couldnt wait to get it. a few weeks ago I started looking and found a gem (so I thought). I bought a car from the internet, and was super excited. It was a Nissan Sentra. The day after I got it, it wouldnt start. I tried everything I know, but nothing helped. I took it to Western ave Nissan, where my father goes. The service department delivered the bad news. The car had all sorts of issues from, mechanical to electrical. I was devastated. My father happened to run into the salesman that he got his car from. He told him the situation and he said he would be right back. Todd came back and asked if I would like a new Sentra. I looked at my dad and said I dont think I can afford it. Todd asked if we had a few minutes and said lets take a walk. He showed us a base model last year car with an excellent rebate. He ran my credit and there wasnt much there but my dad offered to co sign for me. They took my car that was in service and helped us out. They gave me most of what I paid for it. Going from a teenager to a young man this car is my first real responsibility. Im so glad that Western Nissan was able to help me with the purchase, I will learn a great deal from this experience. Thank You.

So I was referred to this facility by a guest where I work and he told me to speak with tina who he said was the general manager he told me that he had emailed her and informed her that I would be visiting and that she would take care of me I said ok fine so i did my research and found the car I wanted which was a 2006 gray chevy cobalt with about 130000 on and it was $4000 total so I called to speak with tina and never was never able to speak with her but I guess I got her assistant who seemed nice after that she sat up with an appointment to come in on 8/9/13 at 11 am so when I got there I decided i wanted to walk around the building and the facility to at least make sure that the car i wanted was there so I walked around twice and not only did I not see the car I looked at other cars which some had dents, others had stuff in them such as lottery tickets, hair brushes, and even a sox hat in one of them, they were all dirty even the new rogues looked extremely unclean so I then decided to walk into the building ( FIRST MISTAKE) and I spoke with a gentleman who the first thing he wanted to do was run my credit I saw no because if the car I want is not even here thats not even necessary for you to do he then went and spoke with someone who told him the car was gone and he came back to me and said the car was still there he then told me hey lets walk around and go see it so I decided to go walk around with him and go see if I see it ( SECOND MISTAKE ) so we walk around the car lot that i had already walked around twice and he told me that hey its in the inventory but i dont see it out here the next thing he did was said find another which i said ok fine let me look (THIRD MISTAKE) so I saw a black 08 chevy impala which didnt look that bad but it had no price tag on it and it was dirty it had lottery tickets in and had bird poop on the window he told me not to worry about it he said o we can clean that up I walked in with him and he said ok how much can you put down I told him that I had spoke with Brenda watts who was Tina's assistant and she had given me specific instructions on what to do with out telling me the price of the car he told me I would have to make 400 to 450 a month payments I was like how do you know that if you dont know how much the car cost after all that I was like forget this place man I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy I will never ever return to this place and informed every i knew who was in the markey for this car to stay away from it if you are smart STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE and a fun fact the car is still on the website today 8/11/13 after I went there and saw that the car was not there brenda told me she would investigate yesterday and still has yet to call me back SAVE YOUR MONEY STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE PLEASE

My current lease was up with my Toyota and I wasnt dissatisfied with the car but I did know that I didnt want another one. I was looking around for a car and the Nissan Maxima really got my attention. I read up on it and it had great reviews. I went to Western Ave Nissan and took a look around. The Sales men were not pushy at all and answered all of my questions. The following day I went again and went for a test drive, I really enjoyed the ride. It was almost as if driving the car was effortless. When we arrived back to the dealership all the options came up, do I want to lease or buy. In the past I have leased and it works for me. I went with the lease option again. Only this time they also gave me a service plan which I have never received before. I really enjoy the car and the buying experience that Western Ave Nissan gave me. Whether they like it or not I have joined the Nissan family. .

My experience with this dealership was great. Jerry was my sales person and treated me very well, giving me the time that I needed to decide on a vehicle and start the process. I have bad credit and had a trade in, they worked with me all the way. We were there for hours and I was the last customer of the night, but they still took their time to ensure I was comfortable with the vehicle and knew the features available. I plan on trading in another vehicle at the end of the year and I'm definitely going there.

Please don't go to this dealership, especially their service department. From the service department manager, Randy to the other people working there, they show no respect for a customer. I had been using NorthShore Nissan in Highland Park for a couple of years with excellent service until I had to move to the South side of Chicago for work, so I decided to take may car to them. I took it in with something wrong with the heating system. As at the time I did it was covered by my extended warranty, but due to the sloppiness of the Western Avenue Nissan Service center ( they will promise to call but will never call. You call them and they never answer or say the person you are looking for is not available. Ths went on for over six month). My car went put of warranty and further faults developed from the original problem. I will be taking legal action against them. This could have been a good place to take your car to but the people running the place are so unprofessional and untrustworthy. If you just want a new car or want to repair your car, ind other dealership. Avoid these people except they change their customer service and professionalism. My two cents

Just want to say this is a great location if you want to buy a new or used car. The employees there are very helpful and friendly. I went a month ago to purchase a new car and they were very helpful I got in with an idea of the kind of car i wanted and they were able to help me find the car I wanted. I will definitely recommend this dealer. If I decide to get another car, I won't think twice to go back to visit them.

The price of the car. You would think after purchasing three cars there already not to mention a platinum armada,a fully loaded altima. I though they would give me a good deal considering this was our fourth purchase instead the girl named Lisa was just trying to rip us off big time and played to many games trying to flip numbers and trick us..I will never go back because of her. I do need to say our sales guy was very nice.

I came in for an oil change on my new vehicle, the buying experience was excellent and the help from the service department was great. My only complaint and disappointment was the overall look and cleanliness of the service department waiting room. It was very, very dirty, floors looked old and grimy. You can tell this is a very old facility and needs some updating ASAP! Any future services, I'll be taking my Juke to a different Nissan service facility.

This is the third time I have brought my car for service to this dealership,I was looking for better customer service than what I had at Mid City Nissan.Not only was the customer service excellent,but they give you the truth on the cost of things and they don't try to cheat you or do the old bait and switch. They fix exactly what you ask them to fix and nothing more,unless you want..Everybody has been friendly to say the least and willing to explain things clearly if you need them to..

Western Nissan has some of the nicest staff at any dealer I have ever been at. When you can say about yourself that im a very difficult person to please you know its true. They had a lot of patience with me and I respect that. All said and done I was a happy camper at the end.

This dealership scams customers into coming into their dealership. They have you fill out an online application then they call you to tell you you're approved with Nissan's finance company. Once you go into the dealership you find out not only are you not approved but they want you to pay cash for the entire purchase. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone. I wouldn't want anyone I know to have an experience such as this. I purchased a vehicle at another dealership where the service was excellent. The other dealership treated me with dignity and respect, they were courteous and friendly.

I bought my Armada last year from here and got a really good deal. I just love it but one thing; I wish I would have gotten the 4X4. The car is amazing but the snow in the winter is a lot for any car to handle. My wife and I came back to see what kind of deal we could get on trading it for one with 4 wheel drive. I knew I was going to take a hit on it but I wasnt too sure on how much. I met with my old salesmen and explained the situation. He looked around for what they had on the lot and spoke to a Mgr. It was in our luck that they had a demo Armada in the back that just got out of recon. It was only 6 months old and had about 4k on it. We were able to trade ours for that one and only pay a small amout in difference and its a year newer. If you want to be taken care of Western Ave Nissan is the place.
