Stan is always the first one there and the last one to leave the service dept. He is totally professional and provides accurate info. When he says he'll call and let you know what is being done and when you can pick up your car......he is totally reliable

From start to finish I was totally impressed with the service and repairs at WI Simonson. The text message updates I got from the team there were easy and simple, the drop off and courtesy car process was easy too. The costs were reasonable and fair and this was after I'd compared them to other Mercedes service depts in LA! But Most of all the guy I dealt with (Tim Siegel) was crazy good! He was so informative, so genuine, it made the whole process a pleasure! he made my experience an amazing one and I never thought I d say that about a car service center! 5 Stars!

A Mercedes is a luxury car. As such, you can expect extremely high customer service. With WI Simonson and my Sales Partner, Hamlet, I get that AND I get someone who's willing to work with me to give me exactly the car I want. This is the third car I'm getting with them and they've always helped me as much as they can, especially when I wanted to get out of a lease or trade in my car from a different brand at lease end. I can't speak well enough of Hamlet and his entire team. For me, buying a car will always be this easy because I will always buy my cars with them!

Andrew, as always outstanding service and he knows his cars. I like going back to the same dealership and the same sales person, the experience is much better and more personal. Andrew knows all of the drivers in my family and asses their needs before arriving to the showroom; always prepared and ready to help in any way. I had a great experience leasing my new 2016 C300. Brian in sales is a great guy who really shows pleasure working with you and not concerned as much as to just make a sale. I came to see him this past summer and spent some time with him. Then I wasnt ready to lease until this past dec, I stopped by to see Brian again and he made it EXACTLY what I wanted for me. He got me the car I want, at the price I want it, with color combinations that I want it, and I was able to pick up my ride the next day and take it to work. Not only that, when I went to Carmax to sell my car, Brian came to pick me up on the morning himself from Carmax and brought me to the dealership to take ownership of my new Mercedes. You want great sales experience, make sure you go and see Brian if you want to buy a Benz. Steven Nicolas was an absolute pleasure to work with. Very few great sales managers out there like him. Awesome guy who helped me to get exactly what I wanted!! I am very happy that I came to W I Simonson to lease a Mercedes.

A day ago, could not imagine that will buy GLA250 from Santa Monica Mercedes W.I.Simonson....We looked at other dealerships but found that the service and professionalism along with the exact car we wanted, exceeded our expectations at Santa Monica Mercedes W.I.Simonson. We found that Santa Monica Mercedes W.I. Simonson Inc. has the most practical selection of cars with packagers and options for customers with different taste, preferences, and finances and --most important--sales people who are able to work with customers of different nationalities and cultures ....Would very much recommends Brian Lane to anyone interested in driving and buying Mercedes Benz cars.....`He exceeded our expectations on all levels in the purchase of our new GLA250.

My first time coming in for scheduled maintenance. 7:45 appointment (I was there on time), at 8:30 the adviser finally came to help me (the guys that immediately greet you and do the little digital registration of your car are great, courteous, and efficient). Before anyone even looked at my car, the adviser suggested getting my front end aligned ($180). I said "here's a suggestion, have the technician look at it first to see if it is needed, then make a suggestion). I was told when I made the appointment it might take a few hours, but when I got there, I was told it would take all day. Luckily, I had reserved a loaner car. Now for that experience. Nothing wrong with how the process was carried out; but my compliant is they make no effort to provide you with a car similar to the one you brought in for service. I think that is not a good business decision, because they give you a car that you have not idea of how it operates and you are put onto the streets trying to navigate traffic and figure out the features and mirrors and everything. I might have to get rid of my Benz and go back to Lexus or give Audi a try, based upon Mercedes Benz service centers. Hopefully, I won't have any surprises when they call me about my car. Will provide more feedback at the end of my experience, but I didn't want to wait to write up this part of my experience.

My car broke down after being repaired with Mercedes Benz Beverly Hills. Fed up with them I had it towed to Simonson. I spent over $1000 then it broke down again. Both service centers are in bed with each other along with Mercedes Benz USA. They are manipulating and using cheating software (like Volkswagon) to shut off ignition switches and charge for services not rendered or necessary How do I know this? I purchased a Car Fax report after Simonson did work on my car. Nothing was ever done. Always purchase a Car Fax after repair work is done to verify charges. Horrible experience.

This is the third car I've bought from this dealership. That says something. A couple of weeks ago I bought the vehicle I have been dreaming of. Marcus Jerry was my salesman. My husband had just leased his second car from Mr. Jerry and told him what I wanted. When I went to the dealership Mr Jerry had the exact car I wanted ready for me. I traded my old car in ( which was hard as I loved it) and had my new vehicle ready the next day. Mr Jerry spent considerable time with me explaining all the details of the vehicle so that I'felt completely confident driving off the lot. Mr Jerry is simply the best! Thank you Jerry!Kudos to the service department. Andy is awesome. My two former cars were serviced exclusively at W I Simonson. I NEVER ever had any problems with these vehicles. Service was only normal wear. You get what you pay for! Love this dealership and service department.

It pains me to say this, but we have to comment on the honesty of the service department. We took our 2013 C250 into the shop due to a right front wheel stress fracture. The car has 22K miles and is primarily driven around the MdR area. The tire was loosing air so we first took it to our 76 Garage (nice full service place by the way on Maxcella); who advised it was not a tire issue, but a wheel stress fracture. They showed us the wheel and in their expert opinion, there were no indications of any damage that would have caused this. Never having experienced a cracked wheel in any car I purchased, did some on-line research and to my surprise, this occurrence is somewhat common on AMG wheels. Armed with this information, took it to WI Simonson thinking it would be covered. WRONG! They opined my wife must have hit a pothole, something to cause this damage. It should be noted the tire was not damaged (original) and frankly, growing up on the pothole ridden east coast, steel wheels simply don't crack when encountering potholes. These arguments were not relevant to WI Simonson. They wanted $1300 to replace it! I was shocked given the empirical evidence and suspected they simply did not want to either admit there may be a defect or incur the expense. I will never buy or lease a car from these people! I have lost trust in their maintenance department and their desire to back their products.

I was due for a new car and decided to stop by at WI Simonson in Santa Monica. I ended up buying my new car from Shawn Farahmand and main reason behind it was his friendly attitude. Most dealers are pushy and just want to sell their cars. But Shawn Farahmand really took his time to get to know me first and then he used all of his resources to give me the best deal. He treated me like a friend or a family member and I never felt any pressure at all. I highly recommend Shawn Farahmand to everyone in Santa Monica area.

I am a second time car buyer. I was in need of getting a vehicle quickly after my 20 year old car had been draining my bank account with repairs. Karnit at W.I. Simonson was so accommodating. She made it possible for me to drive off the lot that day with a steal of a car. I bought a 2006 Camry with only 38,000 miles marked below Kelley Blue Book value. The car is truly in pristine condition with all the bells and whistles. As a second time buyer with very little credit, it was hard for me to get a loan. But W.I. Simonson worked they're hardest to find me the lowest possible interest rate and made sure I was able to get into a reliable car as soon as possible. I will definitely be back to W.I. Simonson when it is time to upgrade into a new car.

I would stay as far away from these guys as possible. They are shysters, scam artists, everything you could fear in a car salesperson. I walked in late one Sunday afternoon looking to make a deal on a C250 or an E350. I was promised by the sales person Hamlet Karapetian a car with all the electronics. I wanted, GPS rear camera, etc. After realizing there are no parking lines on the rear camera and the iPod can not be integrated into the music system I went to dealer. They explained to me that I did not get the full electronics package.Think about it, a Mercedes where you hit the curb because you can't see it, and a Mercedes where you can not integrate an iPod into the music system. Mercedes should be ashamed to make, let alone sell a car like this. I had a Volvo S60 that was way smarter than this, the seats adjusted when you got near the car, the doors open and I could attach my iPod, how amazing!When I went to close the deal, the finance guy Marc Rose told me he was going to throw in undercoating. I thought, how ridiculous, this is something you would get on the East Coast, not here, especially on a 3 year lease, who cares. Then he said he would thrown in the service plan for 3 years. Low and behold, he never did, he added it to the bottom line and kept telling how great it was that he gave me under coating! In the end their head of finance Lauren Castanos would do nothing about it.Please look at all the 1 stars these people are getting, it's a red flag. I would not be surprised if they are paying for the 5 stars. STAY AWAY, go to a real Mercedes dealer and don't buy the C250! -Michael G.

my car is now 6 years old and there has literally not been one time that i have visited their service dept that they did not completely overcharge and try to rip me off. they appear very professional in their presentation but they not only overcharge by at least 50%, they also create things wrong with your car that are not even there. and their charges to get the SERVICE WARNING LIGHT off are just made up by them and the light comes on just for the sole purpose of them getting you into their service center and trying to convince you to pay for things that are completely unnecessary. you will notice a turnover in their staff at the service center because a person is either comfortable being a con or they aren't. i think there are those who leave bc they can't play the game of stealing from the trustworthy customer who just bought a car from them. i cannot wait to get rid of my mercedes for the sole reason of not having to deal with such slimy people ever again. they are a disgrace and should be ashamed to be a part of the santa monica community.

We recently moved from PA to CA and wanted to purchase a MB-SUV. After talking to friends and neighbors in the area we were referred to WI Simonson MB -SM. My husband called and talked to Phillip about our interest in a 2012 certified, pre-owned GL450 with Package 2 options and DVD system. He said he had one in inventory. We decided to head over to the dealership with our 2.5 year old daughter to check out the car. Upon arrival to the dealership we were introduced to Eddie Saneto, who showed us the car and upon inspection we took the car out for a test drive. Eddie was polite but lacked significant knowledge about the car, in all aspects. He kept on saying that we can look it up in the manual! Our daughter loved the car. A week later, Sunday June 22, 2014 we decided we wanted to purchase this car. Together with our 2.5 year old daughter, we arrived at the dealeship at 2pm, Eddie met with us and after a very uncomfortable negotiation with Zia (a rough and unpleasant man), we agreed to the purchase price , we proceeded with the purchase of the vehicle (57K). We were introduced to Nick Fairchild, who upon looking at the details of the car and purchase infomation said that this car isn't ready for sale and to leave the lot since the 2 keys and DVD headsets were not available. He was reassured by Souharda Poudyal that that would not be a problem as they will be sent to us in 1-2 weeks. I know we should've walked away and we should've but we didn't because we liked the car as it was exactly what we had been looking for. Upon completing the purchase we were taken over by Souharda Poudyal, to the guest parking lot of the dealership where the GL450 was parked. We were handed 1 key, which was dirty and had stickers on it, and the remote control for the DVD which has some kind of syrup/glue dripped onto the buttons, we asked for the 2nd key and were told they didn't have it and that they would send it to us in 1-2 weeks. Upon inspecting the car again we noticed that the car mats were not placed and a large bleach stain was obvious and visible on the carpeting in the back. Apparently, they had conceiled this by placing a disposable cover when we initially saw the car and subsequently agreed to take it out on a test drive. At this point, my husband and I refused to accept the keys and left the car on the lot. Souharda Poudyal said well, you can't expect the car to be perfect, it is a used car afterall. We My husband and I were appaled by that response! By now we had been at the dealership for 6 hours. It was 830pm and dark. Imagine all this with a 2.5 year old and a dealership that decided to close down and abandon the lot/offices!!! My husband contacted Nick Fairchild on his cell phone to tell him what had transpired and that we were canceling our contract. So now, here we are in a dark parking lot on a Sunday evening with a lemon car and furious parents with a 2.5 year old daughter who is past her feeding and bedtime. This was supposed to be a happy occasion that was a nighmare to say the least. Nick apologized and understood and said he would refund the monies and cancel the contract first thing in the morning. We did appreciate his professionalism and honesty. In the morning the contract was canceled and we did receive an invoice for a full refund! There was no subsequent followup or apology by anyone at WI Simonson MB Santa Monica. We had actually purchased this car!!! They actually had the gall to send a customer service survey and to thank us for the purchase (a month later!). My husband and I will not be purchasing/leasing from this dealership or its brand WI Simonson (The philosophy of the company is poor and it looks to be a management/owner issue) and we hope that by sharing our story it may help others in deciding whether or not you want to build a relationship with the dysfunctional and deceptive staff and less than impressive fleet of cars in the pre-owned department at WI Simonson MB - SM! Note: All the dates and times in this review are accurate as they are timestamped on the contract and papers that were printed and given to us by Nick Fairchild.

Very rude, always in a rush, never listens to ur complaints and offers what he thinks needs to get done since the car has 60,000 on it I went for an oil change and I was pushed in to a service A which is a expensive $380 oil change and when I said I just need the oil change he got very rude and obnoxious and started yelling at me that I don't need an oil change and should do more extensive work because of the mileageAlways rude, unprofessional , wants to just make total bill higher to get a piece of it and doesn't care about customer and owners concerns other than his pockets

Dishonest, overpriced, untrustworthy. I'm NOT happy at all. Went in for one thing, they found 5 more that needs work, presenting me with $7k repair estimate on low mileage car. So I took my car for a 2nd opinion to a certified MBZ German mechanic who said discredited all of the proposed repairs saying 'they took advantage of you.' As far as I'm concerned, Simonson service is disgrace on Mercedes brand.

They greeted me with respect and kindness. Very helpful they told me what needed to be done with the car and I was very pleased with that. Also they found a ding on my car that I didn't even realize it had, and Derrick took care of all the phone calls to make sure the ding was fixed on the car. They really went above and beyond. When I went to pick up my vehicle it looked brand new. I came back it was washed and cleaned like a brand new car. I thank Derrick Franklin.

I'd been looking for a few months for a used 2012 Mercedes c250 coupe with little miles that was certified and still under warranty. As you could imagine, this was a difficult task, so as soon as I found one online listed at WI Simonson with only 6500 miles at an AMAZING price, I quickly called and spoke with Bill and made an appt to come in the next day. Bill is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet. I test drove the car, fell in love on the spot and decided to buy it! I came in already financed, but they were able to find me a comparable loan with Wells Fargo, and as long as the rate and terms were the same, that was fine by me! The car had a few minor scratches on the bumper, not really a big deal but Bill and Dave worked to have the car touched up completely at no expense to me - it looks, feels and smells brand new. Even got a good deal on an extended warranty, taking my warranty to 2018! And because I decided not to trade in my other car that's already paid for, Bill and another staff member followed me home so that I could get my new and old car back to my place - talk about customer service! This by far has been one of the best car-buying experiences ever. I never once felt like I was getting a bad deal or being taken advantage of because I'm a woman! Everyone at WI Simonson has been kind and helpful, and Bill is a great guy! I would definitely recommend this dealer if you are looking for a hassle-free, honest and friendly car-buying experience! And make sure you ask for Bill Hagen!!

If you're looking for an honest, professional and friendly sales rep as you look for your Mercedes, I HIGHLY recommend Marcus Jerry. As a woman looking for assistance, its nice to know I can trust Marcus. He's helped me for the past six years and even with all the other luxury vehicle options to choose from (and I've looked), I continue to stay with Mercedes because, yes, its a wonderful car/SUV, but a huge reason for staying in the "family" is that he has taken very good care of me. From leasing my new car to always being available to help after the sale, he's truly a blessing. He helped me understand all of my choices for a new car. As a mom (since he's a father), he reminded me of the details that I would find helpful. Once I knew the car I wanted - ML350 - negotiating was not painful and then the paperwork was super easy. Truly in and out and on my way. I definitely recommend Marcus Jerry as I know you'll receive the same treatment as I've received.

Please read my google review! Save yourself a trip to wi simonson of santa monica, ca! Save yourself humiliation, sexual harrassment, wasted time and complete lies. These people (Mark Matias) have a specific agenda and especially Mark Matias. The agenda is not to sell you a car it is to talk and get personal and in the end display beyond inappropriate behavior. This is a two-part review. I leased a new car from this dealership in Nov. 2012. I had leased a car from the dealership in 2007. The first part of the review involves the salesperson, Karnit Aricha. She was very helpful and friendly, provided me with a fair deal, and I have only positive things to say about her and her performance. She was, overall, very good. I recommend her highly. The second part of the review has to do with the finance department. After Karnit and I agreed upon a car and a price, I went to the finance dept. across the street, supposedly to sign the lease papers. Instead, the fellow there first tried to sell me a bunch of warranties that I did not need or want. Even when I declined, he kept pushing. Then, when he finally produced a lease for me to sign, IT WAS NOT AT THE PRICE AT WHICH KARNIT AND I HAD AGREED. When I pointed this out, he did not immediately correct it. Instead, he said that there must be a mistake AND TRIED TO GET ME TO SIGN A DEAL WITH ANOTHER PRICE, LOWER THAN WHAT HE ORIGINALLY TRIED TO PAWN OFF ON ME BUT STILL HIGHER THAN MY AGREED-UPON PRICE WITH KARNIT. It took quite a while for him to get me a lease to sign at the correct price and I had to fight with him to get it. I also had traded in a used car and the dealership was to provide me a check for the price of that car. After waiting several days without any word, I emailed the dealership and was told that they could not cut the check because they did not have a copy of my driver's license and insurance card--even though Karnit had copied them when I was there the week before. When I pointed that out, I was told, first, that my documents had been shredded and, second, that they were in another customer's file but could not be found. They actually asked me to email copies to them, as if I would put my license on the internet. When I went there to allow them to copy these materials again and pick up the check, THEY HANDED ME A CHECK IN THE WRONG AMOUNT, SHORT BY OVER $1300. This again took a long time and a lot of effort to fix. The finance people were, in my humble opinion, jerking me around and trying to get more money from me, one way or the other. I would be very careful dealing with the finance people at the dealership.

This review is for Sales (Bill Hagen , Internet Sales Manager), not Service...It's challenging to find good, trustworthy salespeople especially in new car sales, which is why I'm taking the time to give a 5 star shout out to a very impressive guy. While searching for my 2012 C250, I'd done my research and began calling local dealers to locate the car I wanted and secure the best deal. While many would either quote prices I knew were too high or try to get me into a color I didn't want or up sale me, Bill was just completely straight forward with pricing, availability and was one of the very few that actually knew the equipment options for the car! I could have saved a few hundred at another dealer (the only one that still had a sales certificate left - not Bill's fault), but I stayed with him to close the deal. He was truthful, did not push me, knew his cars and was one of the few I knew actually had my best interests at heart, rather than his commission dollar in mind! He has integrity. After the sale, there were two items that should have been included with the car and weren't, but Bill immediately get these to me - no hassle, no push back, just great customer service. He is one of the few that I'd not only recommend to friends and family, but actually already have. Hopefully Simonson will hang onto him, because he's worth following to another dealer!

I bought a Porsche from a gentlemen called John Halaka who was nice and friendly BUT the company sold me a car that they haven't tried because they wouldn't have sold me the car if they had tried it and John told me that they hadn't. I got a flat tire directly after driving the strange behaving car home and that due to that the rear rims was repaired( which is not permissible on that car) and they were still in bad condition so the car was scary to drive. So since the rims had cracks on them they repaired them once more with an awful result BUT John Doherty at Simonson stated that the rim was 100% ok even though I sent him a movie of a wheel that was jumping badly in the high balance machine at Good Year.So they sold me a car that is not ok to drive and want me to take the cost for that. That is not the way to treat a costumer and I would not recommend anyone to trust this company. Its sad the way they just ignore the fact that they sold me a car that is scary to drive with no regret!

I was there to buy an advertised E350, 1-2 years old. I had done price comparison (and had negotiated price on a new model in another dealership down to lowest it could go, and yes I was surprised how low they could go). The price was best I could get within 50 Miles for the car at W.I. Simonson. I did not like the condition of the car advertised (no surprise) and ended up buying a year model, few months old. It was late evening and they were about to close. John showed me few models and gave me a good discount on the newer model I saw. Financing was done fast and I was on my way home in an hour not paid down a dime. I noticed some damage on the rims after buying the car, but they promised fixing it and the repair was done perfectly with no charge to me. Good buy and a good experience.

The best buying experience I've ever had in buying a new car. John was knowledgable, understood my needs, presented a great price and was patient in showing me the features of my new S550. John was more consultant then salesperson which I truly appreciated. John Halaka, Lee Mehlman, Sales Manager and other executives whom I met throughout the transaction were all attentive to my needs. I felt a genuine commitment to quality service. I was so pleased with the overall experience that I contacted a colleague of mine who was literally going to another Mercedes dealership to purchase a new Mercedes. I spoke to John on the phone and worked out the entire purchase before I went in. There were no tricks or changes in terms, it was exactly as we agreed upon. Even better, after the sale, John kept in touch and assisted me with a few details needed through the service department. John went over and above anything I expected, and I expected a lot. While I almost never fill out customer survey satisfactions, I wanted to thank Karnit, my sales person at the Simonson dealership, this time. Prior to being referred to her, I was having such a miserable time at other Benz and BMW dealerships getting the car I wanted. Other dealers were rude and utterly inattentive, especially when they realized I wanted to special order my car (obviously I am not the only person with that experience!) Then when my friend referred me to Karnit, I was pleasantly surprised. Karnit was nice, professional, honest and efficient. Unlike other dealers, she looked to satisfy my needs, as opposed to the needs of the dealer only. Karnit finally found the car I was looking for, so I didnt need to wait for a special order car (which makes me wonder why other sales persons couldnt or wouldnt do that before). She presented me with several financing options as well to choose from without my asking even. If I were to order another MB in the future, I would definitely go back to Karnit.

On a scale of 1 to 10, John rates an eleven! He was absolutely outstanding! Both my wife and I were extremely impressed with John's professionalism, demeanor, and service. He was firm with price and honest with all the features of the used Ford F-150 he sold us, yet he treated me as a valued customer and worked extensively to get me the vehicle. Despite numerous interests from other customers, and their willingness to pay more for the used vehicle, John kept the F-150 for me, as promised. (I was in Iowa when I first expressed interest in the vehicle. It wasn't until a week later that I was able to meet John in person. Sure enough, when I arrived at the dealership, the pick-up truck was there and it was immaculate.) When I asked that the vehicle be delivered on Sunday, June 17, John made it happen. Despite it being his day off and more importantly Father's Day, John personally delivered the vehicle. (He had his family with him and I got to meet them briefly.) John Halaka was the most helpful, patient, knowledgeable and non-pushy (which is a big deal for me, because I get turned off by hard-sell) dealer I had the pleasure of talking to during my week-long search for a car. He politely accepted my rescheduling of the second visit, because I was having a busy week at work. Answered all my questions and helped me through every step, got me a great deal, and most importantly, did not make me feel intimidated or neglected at any point. I have been in too many situations where a dealer visibly "switches off" once the money changes hands, but John has also been consistent in following up after the sale. The paperwork completed at 9 PM on Friday evening and he was with me all the way, and even had a helpful suggestion for a dinner place nearby as I drove my car out of the showroom. Truly excellent service, and I would recommend WI Simonson, and John Halaka in particular, to anyone looking for a car.

I recently purchased a 2012 350 SLK for my wife. The fleet sales person with whom I dealt was named Marcus Jerry. He was sensational in every respect. He was knowledgable, courteous and very professional. He provided me with a very competitive price without the necessity of prolonged negotiation. He arranged for the car to be delivered immediately and took care of every detail requested by my wife including tinting of certain windows. Marcus was extremely helpful in showing my wife how to use the new technology in the car and was very patient and was very patient when she came back again to ask follow up questions. Marcus also arranged for someone from Simonson to come to our house to the garage opener with the garage opener in our garage. Marcus also arranged for the car to be buffed in a couple of places where needed. The service provided by Marcus was exceptional in every respect. He could not have been nicer or more helpful. It was an extremely pleasant auto purchasing experience. I have purchased 5 successive Mercedes from Simonson (since 1983) and have always been very pleased.

here's the letter i wrote to the santa monica mbz manager:my experience with your salesperson rebecca was nothing short of absolutely OUTSTANDING!!!! i originally dealt with ted feightner but he was shortly transferred to a different dept. he too was excellent. i also had dealings with lee the manager. there was a mistake made on his part when finalizing my deal. it was a temporary glitch but a financial one and the error was on his part. the reason i mention this at all is because we all make mistakes in life and the important thing is to take responsibility by admitting the mistake and then to stand behind your word. the answer here to lee is yes on both counts, which was very impressive. he turned a small, minor negative glitch into a huge positive experience for me! to say that rebecca webb was patient would be the understatement of the year. i was EXTREMELY WISHY WASHY on which car i wanted. she let me drive them all! the c 2 door, c 4 door, e 2 door, e 4 door, ml suv. i'm surprised i didn't test drive her own car! i also came back to the dealership and embarrassing amount of times - many of which i'd go see and sit in the cars myself on the down-low, hoping not to be noticed as i felt silly coming back again. when she'd spot me i'd say "i'm not here". she never made me feel uncomfortable. quite the opposite. she was always engaging, social, professional and pleasant! she was amazing!!! as a realtor of 27 years, i know when i'm being "closed" and not once did she ever try. not even an inch. she provided me with outstanding service, shared her incredible knowledge of the products and allowed me to come to my own conclusions. organically. "car sales like it should be"... the finance guy carl was quite pleasant as well. he explained and summarized the contracts clearly, efficiently and pleasantly, (something i pride myself in doing for my real estate clients.) i am a very very very satisfied wi simonsin customer and will DEFINITELY be referring business to this dealership! i am new to the mbz brand and all 5 of my previous cars have been bmw's. for the record, in the last 8 years alone, between myself and my referrals i was responsible for EIGHT transactions to my last bmw salesperson: 3 of my own and FIVE referrals.) i will look forward to referring as much business possible to wi simonsin. in closing let me just say once again what an incredible experience i had with rebecca webb. i could go on and on about her. she even helped me fidget with the garage door opener feature after hours while she was late for her own family dinner! i hope you read this at the next sales meeting and embarrass her with praise... i would also be more than happy to sing my praises further should any potential customer or representative from mbz corporate wish to contact me. you also have my permission to share all or part of this correspondence with anyone you see fit. sincerely, damon kronsbergcoldwell banker realty310.633.4900

Drove over 2 hrs with a toddler. Found pre-owned car on autrotrader.com. Internet sales rep. wasn't available on Sunday. So, we dealt with John Halaka.Beautiful car, but there is a loud noise from tires (unsure why while we were there). John said service dept. doesn't not open on Sunday. John gave us a little discount to compensate for our insecurity of tires, but then added $1k for additional year of warranty. So, we ended up paying more anyway than the listed price of the car.Once home, our MB mechanic said the shocks were the problem. We called John to let him know about the problem, he didn't seem to really care. He said to take car to any dealership in our town (meaning, not his dealership). But, the big problem now is that shocks may not be covered in the car's warranty. Bottom line, spent over $30K for certified pre-owned car. In one week of ownership, I am looking at over $1000 in repairs and new tire costs, just to get car running safely. Great. The relatively fair price of the car was to reflect the hidden price of all the repairs you have to make to drive the car safely.I don't recommend you purchasing here.

We walked into the dealership just to look, not having decided what brand of car to buy, although I knew I wanted a smaller SUV and was leaning towards the smaller version of the Volvo I had previously. Rebecca was very helpful and informative. After looking at a few cars and test driving one, we talked with Rebecca and she explained the packages and options and found a car that was exactly what I wanted at a great price. I went out of town a few days later and she emailed me to keep me posted on where the car was and when it would arrive. The day after I got home, I picked up my new car and she spent more than 2 hours with me explaining all of the features. Even presented it with a giant red bow on the hood. I couldn't be happier!

My experience at WI Simonson was to my surprise, very very pleasant, and I chalk this up to all of Ms Webb's efforts to get me what I wanted in the way I wanted, which was: without spending much time at the dealership dickering and doing paperwork, or spending an unfair amount.I dread it when I need a new car, because the process is usually so slimy and unnecessarily time consuming; my time with Rebeca Webb was efficient and so pleasantly respectful I would urge anyone to go buy a Mercedes from Rebecca because the cars are wonderful and you will be treated really well! Although greeting at the entrance was confused and inefficient, once we made our way over to John Halaka service was great. If he were the only person we dealt with we would have come away even more satisfied. A few others at the dealership can tear a page from his book, especially regarding reception and final processing of financial details, but overall it is a very serious and pleasant dealership.

As a foreigner, with a young credit history and many dreams, I called the dealership to explore options. I wasn't too optimistic about the situation, but Damien gave me the opportunity to 'work it out'. I went to see him the next day, I explained the situation and he goes 'guess what - you're never going to drive your old car again'. He was right. Skeptical, I continued the process. He was super friendly, patient and made me enjoy the whole experience, even though we knew it was going to be tough to get me through. He came back with the numbers, and he knew it wasn't going to work for me. He was ON MY SIDE. He literally did some magic along with the management team and offered me this great deal that involved trading in a previous lease. My credit situation was impossible (no history, first-time luxury car seeker, new in the country, no wage slips). Tried to get this car through a couple of lease agents but no one was able to approve me, the Mercedes company being very selective in financing. It took a few trips, various documentation and lots of persistence and patience on both sides. But Mr. Wheat had fought for me and worked with what I had, supporting me a hundred percent. At the end - I got the financing, and got the car. Still can't believe I'm driving a Mercedes. Thank you.

My Mercedes experience with Ernie Luna at W.I. Simonson was FANTASTIC! Ernie's personable way and professional demeanor made me feel comfortable. His knowledge of the models, options and packages was exceptional (and educational) and his passion for Mercedes infectious - not that I wasn't already a Mercedes fan. Before making my decision to lease, Ernie astounded me with his creative thinking as he suggested a number of buying verses leasing scenarios (varying lease lengths and mileage options) on new and used vehicles, which added to the model choices within my budget. We got a fantastic deal and we felt like John was there to help us - it was a much better experience compared to the other Mercedes dealers I visited. John was also great because he seemed like he generally wanted to take care of us even afer we bought the vehicle and he even called us after the purchase to make sure everything was OK. Jeff Levy was the best car salesman ever! He was very friendly from the start and very patient. I was unsure on if I even wanted a Mercedes and he listened never pressured me into anything just provided the facts about the vehicle I was interested in. From the beginning of the process I had his number and he always got back to me right away. I inquired about a Porsche at another dealership and I'm still waiting for the guy to call me back and it has been 2 weeks. Jeff is very prompt, nice, smart and patient. I waited 45 minutes to check in for service, despite making an appointment. They added 50% repair to estimate without checking the car. Tire pressure light issue not resolved. Employee mentioned that the tire pressure light on is normal, related to hot weather. Have had 3 bad experience with W.I. Simonson so far and I won't go back anymore.

I rate the quality of customer service on a few thing: Friendliness, knowledge and expertise, efficiency, and speed. I am very busy, as we all are, and I did everything on the phone, so when I came to trade my old car for my new one, I signed all my paper work, which he had organized, and was down the street in less than 30 minutes! I even had a little problem with my credit, that he took care of on my drive over. In addition, he is funny and very sweet. Before going to the Mercedes dealership in Santa Monica, we actually visited another dealership, but were so annoyed by the salesman that we left (he was pushy, arrogant, and would only address my fiance even when I asked him questions). The next day we went to the Santa Monica dealership and were fortunate enough to have Karnit Aricha greet us. Karnit was very professional and she went out of her way to find us the exact car we were searching for (even though there was only one car in the area and it had to be shipped in from another dealer). She was not pushy at all, she let the car sell itself all the while being kind and informative. We wanted to trade in my car and she was able to get us the exact price we asked for it. when they're making sales or lease, they are absolutely perfect; however shows no sense of service or dedication after leased, especially when u return it. The worst Mercedes Benz service I've ever received. Never recommend this place to anyone. attempted to communicate with John H. a few months before the due of returning. He never provide me enough information but percewading to extend the new lease.at the returning date, I have attempted to schedule pre-screen condition, etc. the director of lease end, " Sam" never return my calls (many times,), did not show up at the appointed time, and treated me very unprofessional.completely oposite attitude between ' into Mercedes" and "out of Mercedes".again, I am very disappointed with the service, in particular with W.I. It seems service has dramatically suffered since that 'amazing two-month period in late 2008 ;) ...I brought my E350 in for routine service on 11/28/09. That day was extremely slow. Still, I had to wait over 30 minutes to be seen by a service advisor. Being promised a quick turnaround ('should be done by noon'), I got my car at 2:45 p.m.The bill was very reasonable. So far so good - I know I'm a bit impatient, so I decided it's me - let it go - plus I did get to hang at the bookstore, something I do enjoy and don't do enough of - but back to our friends at Simonson: unfortunately, that was not the end, but barely just the beginning.two days and 10 miles later, the car makes a terrible noise, as it turns out, from dragging the bottom engine cover on the road in front of my children's elementary school. Well, as the dealership confirmed, the screws hadn't been fastened. - OK - this can happen (but I was still wondering how much this may happen - because it absolutely shouldn't).After barely getting an apology, we made an appoinment to bring car back to reattach the cover. My wife brought the car in today (12/2/09) at 9:30 a.m. The valet service dropped her off at 3rd Street Promenade, a popular shopping areaea, to be picked up again at 1:00 p.m. - At 1:15 she called me to inquire where her ride was. After being passed around and being on hold forever, the valet person asked for my wife's name, then just hung up on me. When I called back, asking for a manager, I ended up with some manager's voice mail - after being on hold for another 10 minutes, that is.Finally back at Simonson, my wife learned that they also had to make another warranty repair they missed on the first visit just a few days earlier.But here is the good news: the car has been running fine for the last 5 hours and 7 miles since the service - I'm impressed at this point!Wow - I never thought that this would be the kind of unmatched experience you'd have by owning one of the world's greatest automobiles - but I have to give it to them: anyone will have a hard time matching this experience anytime soon.So, get this ... their sales department is contacting me about buying another car from them as my lease is coming up... call me naive, but it is mind-boggling how screwed up a small dealership can possibly be.

I went to the dealer's service department without an appointment. I described my concern and soon after was provided with a diagnosis of the problem. The problem was, then, repaired.Mr. Lawless was very helpful, courteous, and professional. He explained in detail what was causing the problem with my car and what he could do to remedy the problem. Upon my approval, the repair work was completed.The response was very timely considering I did not have an appointment. I, also, got a car wash.Great service!

Stan is a wonderful service person. I have been going to Simonson for over 20 years, and always ask for him. I trust his judgment and rely on his advise. My only complaint about Simonson is that the repairs are expensive. But that is not Stan's fault. Maybe that just comes with the territory--owning a Mercedes. I would suggest that Mercedes consider doing what BMW does--include full free repair service for 4 years as part of its warranty.

I recently moved to Santa Monica - where I neither purchased my vehicle nor had any previous service done. As I have moved frequently in my lifetime, I have had poor experiences servicing my vehicle at dealerships with whom I have not had the chance to establish rapport. However, upon visiting WI Simonson in Santa Monica, I've found that good customer service still exists. My service advisor, Derrick Franklin, and technician, Hans Lesmsister, have provided me with excellent service every time. They are both courteous and friendly, and have anticipated my needs exceptionally well.

Michael Mejorado is an exemplary employee. He is attentive and helpful. He is prompt and reliable. It is because of his attentiveness and professionalism that I continue to have my car serviced at W.I. Simonson. I have tried other dealerships such as Calabasas and they do not compare. Stan Sax has been by service advisor for over 20 years. All aspects of the service department have been outstanding over the years. The only issue I ever have with them is that the pricing for tires is not the most competitive relative to the local marketplace...I understand that Stan has no control over this.

Rene House was my service representative at Beverly Hills mercedes several years ago. When I found out Rene was at Simonson I was thrilled and transfered to Simonson for furthur service. I found Renes service to be more honorable than most I have experienced at Beverly Hills Mercedes. Being a female who knows very little about cars this is crucial in my choice of service representatives.

Why isn't there a selection for 0! I did not like the way I was treated at all in this place. They were so rude to me. Then they tried selling me flushes that the car didn't need! I know this because I normally get my car fixed at Beverly Hills, and they recently did the flushes to it. The only reason I was at Simonson this time was because my car died nearby. The labor was insane, the idea that they would try to pre-sell items to me before even looking over my car is insane, and the managers in that place don't have half a brain! Never again. I'll pay more money for a tow to MB of Beverly Hills long before I come here again. It's Beverly Hills, and the labor is cheaper! Go figure! Nice try Simonson. You lost more business. And judging by the rest of the reviews on here you're going to lose more and more people who see these, long before they ever get near the entrance. Trust me people, don't give up on the Mercedes product because of THIS PLACE! Just take your car to Beverly Hills and you'll get nicer people, cheaper prices, and a better service experience overall.

I wish there was a button on the recommendation for "HELL NO". This is a problem in progress but so far the way this so called automotive giants handling takes unprofessionalism to a leve even Enron wasnt able to go.1) Their service department should be disqualified from handlind all types of cars let alone bikes. I have had 2 seperate incidents with a CLK 350 (2006) which had almost deadly consequences and a C230 (which I thank traffic on wilshire at 5pm) which was the steering wheel locking while the car was in motion.2) I refuse to take the car back as it has 2 months left on lease and its a car my wife drives with my kids in it. The level of service that they provide must be turning Mr. Benz over in his grave dailyTheir upper management, is a bunch of puppets, except their GM, which does not have the courtesy, let alone the cajones, to call a client who has leased his 4th car from the dealership back and see what is wrong. I think this dealership "saw me coming". I am a petite attractive blonde and W.I. Simonson service dept. took me for a ride!First, I was quoted $1050. for a basic "one wrench" service! I became suspicious, because the "service advisor" never actually "advised" me on my service and flirted with me while he typed up my paperworkBeing the trusting person I am I left, but the next day called two other dealerships: Calabasas and Pasadena. The Pasadena service dept charged ONLY $198. for this same service!! The advisor, Rene House, was a total jerk! When I questioned him about the price he made up some story. When I couldn't take him anymore, I just wanted to pick up my car and leave! At the cashier counter, I saw that I was charged nearly $100 for tire balancing. Well, I just had 4 new tires put on my C240! I asked Mr. House to remove the charge and he started yelling at me in front of the cashier and another employee!!! When I said I wasn't going to pay for this charge, he said "he wouldn't give my car back! This man was rude, I was overcharged and the service was horrible!Besides that, he said I needed a couple other things that would have doubled my bill! I took it to an independent Mercedes mechanic recommended by a friend. He did a diagnostic and said there was absolutely NO indication that I needed either of the services he recommended!! It would have doubled my bill!!This dealership is way OVERPRICED and the service manager, Rene House, extremely rude and unhelpful.MY ADVICE IS TO GO TO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP!!

W.I SIMONSON CHARGESTHE MOST FOR TELE AID UPGRADE !!!I called W.I. Simonson to find out how much the "digital upgrade" for my Tele Aid would cost since Mercedes motified me that the analog Tele Aid they installed in all cars up to 2006 would no longer work after this year.W.I. Simonson said they would not do the 1 year or 2 year subscription upgrade to digital, ONLY THE LIFETIME SUBSCRIPTION UPGRADE! Which they charge $2100! (According to MBUSA, the Lifetime upgrade is $1500 which includes parts plus labor charges). I told them I only wanted a one year as my car is 4 yrs old and would probably only have it one more year. Didn't matter. They only do the lifetime upgrade.I called Beverly Hills Ltd Mercedes Benz, and they quoted $1743 for the lifetime upgrade. They also quoted $1067 for the one year upgrade. ($240 for the subscription, $600 parts, and $243 for labor).Which must mean that W.I. Simonson is charghing more than double for labor! When I called Simonson's Service Department and told them of the difference in cost, they couldn't understand how BH Ltd could do the job for $243 in labor. They just about refused to believe me.In any case, I had the job done at BH Ltd MB the next day. And they gave me a loaner Mercedes free!

I initiated a great deal via the internet, had my credit approved, and was ready with my down payment. What was a day to wait for my car that was arriving turn into no later than 5 days later. This turned into another 3 days later, and finally after another 2 weeks, I canceled my order. There reasoning was that the car that was delivered to another dealership through which they traded for my deal was missing a part. This continued, and I supposed I would have accepted this as an excuse; however, the reason I canceled my order was not because of this. It was that each time I was told that I would be picking up my car, and I made changes to my schedule they never updated me to tell me that I would have to wait some more. The lack of updates was what made me cancel my order. Despite getting a great deal, pretty much any dealership can match it, but treat you fairly. Especially if you have busy schedule.By the way, according to another dealership they never heard of the part problem they kept referencing to, they are very untrustworthy.I would strongly not recommend anyone purchasing from them, believe me go else where.Thanks

Part 2 of W.I. Simonson because of the lenght of this post:Item 3:When I walked in to the service manager office, seems like his attitude change also, like it wasn't their fault and made it like it was nothing or a minor problem with again, NO Apology from them. He said that they will do what they can back to "Status Quao", im thinking, you guys were so irresponsible for the damage and yet no Apology to the client and yet you have an attitude towards me. "service guy must of said something up to no good". Item 4:Now the situation is that they will call a vendor and get a quote to "restore" the wheel back to "status quao". As for the damage to my orginal wheel, they had replace another tire for me. They wanted me to come back to "drop off the car again for 2 more days to fix"?. (you should know what im thinking by now) As I drove off their lot "very dissapointed of course", for a few blocks and I decided to stop and look at the tire to see what they had put on. Guess what? they put on the wrong ratings which didn't match up with the rest of the 3 tires. Oh my gosh, what is wrong with these people and it gets worse.Item 5:The next day, I decided not to leave the car with them and just use my spare for 2 days. Well, the service guy advise me not to use it becasue of safety reason, oh gosh, like this guy really cares after one problem after another. (two face as they call it or what) so he suggested that I leave the spare where it was and I asked so you have a spare I can use in the mean time. He said yes, i said fine. After 30 mins of wait, he drove up the car and came up to me and said the car was ready. I walked to my car and looked at the spare wheel. Guess what??? All my orginials are size 19" all around and he puts on a size 18"???????I asked him, should it not be a size 19" instead because its not balanced, gold figure. He said, it should be okay, but I said its not balalnced out and if I break, I could be in an accident because its not even. Then he takes off, where I don't know for 10 mins and then back with a "measurement tape"??? what the heck. And he starts to measure both my orginials and his spare and says, it's only "1 inch difference" should not be a problem. Oh my gosh!!!!!! At this point, I just took off. He called me later that evening and he asked me, how was the drive. I told him exactly what happend, it's not balance and it turns to the right on its own, and "he laughed over the phone". I just had enough with this guy and dealer. Tomorrow, I will pick up my wheel and yet to see how it turns out. I will post my update for you to read and please, if you have a business, don't be like them and treat others with all the respect becuase they might just spend thousands of dollars but even so, they are your future customers. I left a rating here before and NOW I found that I dont see it anymore ??? WELL, I have recently found that the SONIC AUTOMOTIVE INC. that, in the past few (4-5) years purchased W I Simonson,( wisimonson , W.I. Simonson ) are now making sure that Mercedes owners like myself are charged at least 4.5 hours of labor per service order.Meaning that EVERY time your car crosses the service drive the advisors are MADE to sell you these labor hours to make a certain "bounus"! Even if you car is under warranty they still must try to "SELL" customers stuff that they may not really need!They also have a SLIDING SCALE of labor. ...get this THE MORE HOURS OF LABOR YOU'RE SOLD THE MORE THE PRICE PER HOUR IS !!!!????just be alert to this and check other places to take your car the Corprate company is forcing the on the workers and they also make more money when you buy it so check places like A.E. German and other "Independant" shops where you will get your dollars worth. "Old W I Simonson ain't what she used to be!"

I had a very positive service experience though the service rep wasn't the friendliest guy, he was professional and took care of everything like he said he would.I had a loaner for one day, everything that needed fixing under warranty was done without any hassle and the workmanship was top notch. The sales side of this dealership, i think, is superb. Have to say though, that while I was waiting for a valet to drive my car out so i could pick it up, I watched another valet drive someone's MB into a curb where it scratched up the side and he didn't say a thing to the owners until AFTER they spotted the damage which is shady to say the least.But as dealerships go these guys have been great for me so far . Honestly the service was better than expected.

1) Took one week to diagnosis a problem and another 2 days to fix it.2) Returned the car to me with 11-12 scratches!!3) Took another trip back to the dealer to have the 95% of the scratches buff out.4) Extremely poor care of customer's car.

They were very courteous throughout the sales process. I was misled on a couple of issues. But overall, they were pretty responsive to my needs. I have had the car serviced once since I bought it and the service department was thorough and pleasant. I knew what was being done and they even took care of some things that I was unaware of when I took the car in - like replacing the enging mounts. I would return to them the next time I'm looking for a Mercedes, but they won't be the only place I'll visit.
