Shop around if you have the time. I purchase a whole sale vehicle from this dealer this week and the car was a good bang for my buck but the salesman was terrible!The salesman I had to work with (the only one who deals with the whole sale vehicles) was rude, and should not be working at Williams. I have bought 6 new vehicles from Williams since 2004 and never had such a bad experience. I was buying a cheap used car for my daughter and maybe that is why I was treated bad this purchase wasn't new. I don't know if I will ever shop at Williams again. This is not an isolated case a women and her mother where that at the same time working with the same salesman who said he was rude to them too! I did purchase the vehicle that I looked at my daughter had her heart set on it and it was a great deal.

Do not waste your time looking for the best deals advertised. They will tell you the car was sold even if they told you it was available several hours earlier. I checked a week later - the car they told me was sold was still on their website.

Typical used car sales people!!! Can't give you a price without manager approval. Shop the internet before you buy. I saved $4000.00 going other dealer within 100 miles. Keep them honest!!!

I was looking to buy a new vehicle. I've always bought used in the past. I didn't find what I was looking for at Williams but they traded one of their vehicles for one I wanted in the UP at another dealership. Matt and Cam were great! It was a process of trading in two vehicles for one I really wanted and it didn't happen quickly but they were patient with me and worked hard to find what I wanted.

Our salesman Joel was great it all started when we stopped in for normal maintenance on our 2012 2500 Silverado my wife and I were sitting making Christmas cards out for wounded service members and Joel stopped by just to say hi and to talk about the cards and one thing lead to another and we wound up leasing a 2016 Malibu. Love this car it drives great and is comfortable driving. Joel made us feel like we were part of the family no hard core sales pitches. And as always the service department was great doing the maintenance on our truck Ed Tillitson came out and told us everything is fine with the truck so down the road we went with a taken care of truck and a new car these men are to be commended for the way they treat customers.Thanks to you both Jerry and Connie

My wife's Equinox needed the battery jumped a few times because it was dead when she went to start it. She got it in to service on very short notice, the car did need a new battery so that was replaced. She also had the 70,000 mile inspection and oil change done. The best part was that she got in the same day that she called.

When I walked into Williams, I did not expect to be leaving with a vehicle. I was in the market for a truck, and had been strongly considering the Toyota Tacoma and Nissan Frontier based on the minimum requirements of what I wanted out of a vehicle. After looking at their base models, their package still fell outside of the maximum price range I had budgeted.I had done quite a bit of online shopping, doing research and reviewing prices posted online. After looking at the sticker price on the Chevy Silverado, I wasn't very hopeful at all, but my salesman Lance Ebey found an abundance of rebates I was able to take advantage of. I drove off the lot with a brand new Silverado, with every option under the sun, and in the price range I desired. What a difference a good salesman makes!My experience at Williams exceeded my wildest expectations, Lance, Tom, Andy, and the entire Williams team worked quickly and diligently, and put me in a far better truck than the criteria I had set, and gave me far better value on my trade in than I expected. I would definitely recommend that if you are in the market for a vehicle, you should stop in to Williams and talk to someone face to face.

I have had three negative experiences with this dealership in the past. Poor communication and less than upfront. The first time we obviously could not agree on new truck price after 5 hours at dealership. The second time was ridiculous; the salesman laughed at me and said you should of took the previous deal. Literally laughed rudely at me! The last time I was at the dealership. And the most recent was after I received an email back from the dealership explaining why they would not deal on a higher 130000 mile vehicle . They just said its a fair deal and there vehicles are priced to sell. I can't be the only person that thinks they are stuffy and pushy. And if they don't like what you say ; rude. And they respond in subsequent emails in all caps. Don't they know that's YELLING. Well you know how the younger generation thinks ; (they obviously don't) . Texting generation is clearly apparent. I did not like how I was told how to fill out the survey. Telling people that they have to give you a 10, otherwise you fail, skews your results. So asking people to fill out surveys is a pointless activity that gives you a false positive result.

I had to bring my 2015 3500HD Silverado in three different times (due to the need to order/back order some parts) to get everything working properly. Each time, Drew had a loaner vehicle waiting for me so that I could stay on my tight schedule. My 09' Silverado lost the lights on the snow plow. I dropped it off without an appointment. George was upfront that they had a very busy schedule, but would try to get it in. Later that afternoon, they had diagnosed the problem as a burned out relay switch and wiring harness and recommended that I take it to a plow service provider. I expected a bill for $80-100 or more for their time, but was only charged $14 for labor and a few fuses. It means a lot to me as a customer that I did not get an inflated bill for the service. Thank you.

Before I leased the Chevy Equinox I was going to lease A Honda Crv which is next door. An part of Williams Chevrolet. I pretty much got a runaround. The next day when I pulled in I just had a bad feeling about the deal an the car. SO I walked into the Chevy building an was met by Tim (the bear) Williamson an he asked me if he could help. Not pushy an fun to deal with. Far better than your Honda people. They put me thru 4hours of run around an then asked me if They could help!!!!!! Thank the manager needs to take a class on how to treat people. One other couple walked out in upset as well. But for Tim he will get you sales an knows how to treat customers!!! I played alittle more of a monthly payment but defianatly got a much better car an my wife loves it. As the saying goes happy wife happy life. An all because of the bear. Very satisfied!!!

Our salesperson, Mike Koorn, was outstanding. He was in the office early when I called at 8:15 am and we made an appointment for 10:15 am. He was courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable. He found us a car, had it prepped, splash guards and trailer hitch added and we drove it away that same afternoon with the insurance and title all completed. He explained all the new features which we weren't familiar with and even helped us with some of the features on another GM car which we had obtained from another dealer. Twice I contacted Williams via their "online chat" to inquire about the same vehicle I saw online. Chatted with someone different each time; neither person knew anything about the particular car. They each said they would get more information and email me both the info and some photos of the vehicle. I never heard back from either one of them. Very poor sales practice. Wouldn't buy here no matter what after this experience.

I live 5 hours away I called about a car that was listed on line, a salesman told me he will call me back never did ended up calling back 3 times to get somebody to give me information about the car we agreed on the price agreed on the conditions he talked to his manager and every thing was ready to go , I drove 5 hours in a snow storm when I got there the salesman met me took me to the car , by the way I was paying cash , the salesman wrote the deal and then the manager changed his mind about the purchase and he told me sorry and kind of told me that take it or leave it , so I tell you that the manager was a big jerk and very disrespectful he did not care that I drove 5 hours to get there or about the verbal agreement that we have, a man is not a man if he does not keep his word , AND THE MANAGER IN THAT PLACE IS A MAN THAT DOES NOT KEEP HIS WORD.

Our salesman was friendly and not at all high pressure. He was fairly new to the dealership and, even though he mentioned it, he didn't use it as an excuse for not knowing something - he just asked one of the other people if we had a question that he couldn't answer. The paper work took alot longer than they said (we have perfect credit) it was incorrect the first time they presented it to me and I had already waited approx. 1 1/2 hrs. I own two Honda vehicles and regularly get them seviced at this dealership. Most recently I came in for an oil change and filter and to have a SRS (Supplemental Restraint System) light issue resolved. They did a through safety inspection and the SRS problem (a faulty seat buckle) was satisfactorily resolved. The service personnel are friendly and knowledgeable and they don't push unnecessary repairs.

Brought in my Honda Accord for a recall notice. After inspection was told I had a problems with the rear brakes. Was given a recommendation and a quote. I checked with a local service provider and determined that the quote was very fair. My customer service rep (Sarah Curtis) handled the whole process very well. I took my sedan in for routine lube, oil and filter service on 11/30/2011. I also had an SRS light issue problem. The service, including a detailed inspection report, was performed well and at a fair price. The SRS light issue was diagnosed as a faulty seatbelt buckle. The delearship's service personnel were polite and impressed me as being very knowledgeable. A replacement seatbelt buckle has been ordered.

I was concerned with the transmission, so while I was in for a routine oil change I had the technician check the transmission. Their suggestion to me was to flush and change the oil filter in the transmission, which I had already done according to the GM scheduled maintenance program. Your technician, George, and I discussed this and having looked at the oil on the dipstick, I decided to take George's advise and I think it was the right direction to follow. I am happy with the service and advice.

They replaced a power steering pump on my 2010 Honda odyssey and said that was the cause for my shimmy going down the road. They also said it was from my tires being out of balance (even though they were balanced 5 months earlier) They also asked to change my air filter because it was dirty(just changed it myself week before), my transmission fluid is burnt/contaminated,(only 30,726 on vehicle), and winshield wiper fluid was low (they topped off, but it was nearly empty when I arrived home), which they did'nt.

I live on Mackinac Island in the summer, & car shopping is easiest online. I found the car I wanted, called them, set up a time to take it for a test drive, & told them I was very limited on time, because I had to catch the last boat. When we arrived the car was sitting there ready to test drive, I loved it, they hurried with the paperwork & we made it back in time to catch the boat. My First experiance with this dealer was excellent so i figured i would buy my second truck from Williams. Well i will no longer recommend this dealer to ANYONE. To make a long story short i live 5.5 hrs away and was interested in a truck. Over several weeks of talking, I asked the sales person several times if the shape of the truck was good and he insisted it was in good shape. I also asked if there were any issues with the truck or if any work needed to be done and he assured me there wasnt. Well after flying down to pickup the truck, on my drive back home, after shutting the truck off to get Gasoline, it would no longer start due to a dead battery. I had to wait until a stranger came and offered me a jump start. Also when i left the dealership the sales person informed me of a noise that was comming from the truck. He assured me that Dodges sound like that and they thought it was a manifold leak but they had checked it out and everything was ok. Well, after a visit to my local dodge dealership for an inspection on Monday, they told me there was a manifold leak, the front brakes are at 10%, dead battery and there was a rear pinion seal leak (DOESNT SOUND LIKE THE TRUCK IS IN GOOD SHAPE TO ME). So in 96 hours of owning the truck, i have only had to make $897.00 in repairs. The best part about it is i called my sales person, a manager and the person resonding to these posts since Tuesday and have not had one call back. Moral of the story.... DO NOT BUY A USED AUTOMOBILE FROM WILLIAMS AUTOMAX UNLESS YOU HAVE A SECOND PARTY INSPECT IT!!!! UPDATE: 10/28/11 (after 4 days and several voicemails) Dealership Will not compensate any repairs. They gave me the wonderful option of returning the now fixed Truck for a refund of the purchase price not including the repairs. They also gave me a piece of advise to buy a new veichle so i dont have to worry about repairs. They also told me to becareful of Slander, but this is absolutly 100% not slander, this is a true story. Truly disapointed,

The car I was interested in was on lot and site with one picture. Then dealership posted several more pictures and a video a few days later. Sales person emailed me to follow up on my interest in this car a few days later. I respond to this same salesperson via email the next day and he says that this car was sold a MONTH ago. The facilities were very clean, but when you walked in for service, there was no greeting. I literally had to go find someone and the people I passed just ignored a paying customer! One of the salesmen I asked about certain vehicles sent me to find another gentlemen and was completely rude. When I walked across the lot and found the other guy, he was COMPLETELY rude, was very unhelpful, was quick to answer before I even finished my question, and was basically useless. HELLO! I'M A PAYING CUSTOMER! WITH CASH! YOU'RE A SALESMAN! DO YOU WANT COMMISSION?! Let's just say I left there without a car and went to the dealership on the other side of town.
