As someone looking to replace my TDI with a regular gas model, the dealer was able to come up with a special. if unusual, deal to accommodate my needs. Very nice and clean facility. I also had my car in for service and they have an exceptional waiting area with comfortable seating and numerous refreshments.

I was greeted by a service advisor as soon as I arrived and had an oil change and tire rotation done in a timely manner. I was advised to change wiper blades that I changed myself within three months of my visit. It was also suggested to replace two tires that a tire store had recently told me were OK. I only have 30,000 miles on my Sportwagon TDI. I was also advised to change the brake fluid, although this service is not shown in my owners manual at 30,000 miles. I know that dealerships have to make money to stay in business and service income is critical to their survival, but I did feel I was gently being hustled to have things done that were not needed at this time. I am a long time customer of Dover Volkswagon/Winner Volkswagon. The new facility is a huge improvement over the old facility. The employees were very friendly and did not attempt to pressure me when I declined recommended procedures. I thik it is unfair that dealerships are expected to have perfect scores on every account because it is unreasonable to expect that every areas is perfect. LloydAlexander

I came in to look at vehicles but not purchase because I didn't have time for the sales process. I was shown a car that met my needs and a great price was offered. The sales team understood my position and worked quickly to expedite the sales process. The car was delivered in great condition and the new building is beautiful.

Visiting Dover from out of town and my check engine light came on Sunday evening. Stopped by at 7:30 am Monday and was put in a loaner car while the problem with my car was researched. Called a couple hours later with the problem diagnosed; told them to go ahead and fix it, and things were done by the close of business Monday. I was very appreciative that they were able to get things diagnosed and fixed in the same day without having an appointment.

It was just for a complimentary detail but the service was excellent and the detail makes my 2014 Forester which is Ice Metallic look and smell like new. Thanks to the team who handled my car. You are excellent.

Carol was friendlyand thorough in inspecting my vehicle. She found a light bulb that was burnt out over the license plate. She explained that sometime if tapped the light comes back on. She reminded me that my vehicle was due for 50,000 mile service and explained the type of service and the cost. She kept me advised of the progress of the work on my vehicle. She introduced me to the cashier and walker me out to my car. She made a point of making me aware of a slight step that could be a trip hazzard for an individual who was not paying attention to where they were walking. -- I am a senior citizen and due to arthritis I am somewhat unsteady on my feet. I appreciated Carol's concern and had no problem with safely getting out the door.

I've only been to one other Subaru dealer for service, and that was where I purchased my vehicle in Salisbury, MD. This service experience was, by far, leaps and bounds ahead of the competition. The staff was friendly and informative. The showroom was clean as was the service area. Nice job Winner!

We had an urgent need for new tires due to a flat and wear. The service center had stock of the tires we wanted, and at a price comparable to independent tire stores.

The recall service was completed. Rear axle trailing arm relay installed. The tires were checked for tire pressure and wear. The brakes were also checked. The battery was tested. Complimentary multi-point inspection completed.

Our GTI had to be towed to Winner VW on a Sunday evening, with a bad fuel pump, as we were driving from the OBX back to Connecticut. Monday morning Neil's team fit us into a busy schedule, diagnosed the problem, fixed a few outstanding recall issues to boot, and by late afternoon we were on our way home. Thanks!

From the moment we walked into the dealership and met our salesperson, Steve, we felt as thouh it was going to be a pleasant experience. This is our first purchase here in DE. We were so accustom to the high pressure sales in NJ it was a pleasure to deal with someone so knowledgable and non aggressive as Seve. No aggressive in this situation was a very good thing.. He took his time , explained what we asked and was helpful during what could be a very unpleasant activity.

The service rep facilitated not only the routine service scheduled, but also solicited expert help to show me how to change my clock and connect my cell phone to the auto Bluetooth. The mechanic displayed the patience required to help a not very technical senior citizen perform the above tasks. I thank them both very much!

The dealership have made a big investment in the premises and customer service. They did not try to convince me that I need necessary work as is common in some dealerships. I appreciated their honesty and good work. No coffee in the waiting area tut tut!

Online scheduling worked well, check in was prompt, and I knew what the bill was before I left the vehicle.. No surprises like my previous visit. there was an offer for a free hand wash. The job was one nicely.

Our salesman Bob was very informative, polite and helpful. He took the time to explain all the features on the car and helped us on the ones we did not understand. He even scheduled a future appointment to go over any other things we may have questions about. Logan our finance manager helped us to get a good rate and explained the extend warranty to us in detail.

Brought my car in for its 40k service and also the engine light was on. Will was very helpful with the whole process. The engine light ended up being covered under an extended warranty. Something to do with the exhaust. Got my car back sooner the expected and was kept up to date during the whole process. These guys are doing a great job.

I asked for an itemized invoice on parts prior to my repair. I knew something was wrong immediately upon seeing the parts numbers scribbled over in black magic marker. Thankfully you could read the numbers still. Upon price checking against the parts link posted on vw.com, I realized winner was charging 10% to 30% over the MSRP shown on vw.com. These are prices right from the manufacturers website. Since i had a warranty repair partially covered by vw corporate I was told the dealer should be giving me warranty repair prices on my parts. Winner's answer was the MSRP listed on the manufactures website is the "warranty" price for the parts. I know they have to make money somehow, but they should not be upcharging on the prices listed on their own manufactures website, and also pocketing the extra profits for the warranty prices from VW provided for my WARRANTY repair. This doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of the fact I had to come 2k out of pocket to repair a 2.5 year old TDI.

I walked into this dealership with my eyes set on a manual Ford Mustang. The only problem was that I've never driven manual vehicle before. Mike Cassidy displayed great professionalism, and patience while I was at the dealership. I did not expect him to teach me how to drive a manual vehicle, I thought he was going to discourage me, and tell me to get an automatic, instead; Cassidy gave me the courage to go after what I wanted. Now I am driving a 2009 Ford Mustang as my first car, and I am happy.

I recently bought a 2014 VW Jetta. The buying experience was truly the best. I was taken care of very well and got exactly what I wanted and then some. None of that would of happened if it hadn't of been for the excellent customer service of Mike Cassidy. I have never had a more pleasant experience buying a car. From the time I walked into the dealership I felt at home. I had the wonderful privilege of having Mike Cassidy as my salesperson. From the first moment I spoke with Mike, I knew he had my best interests at heart, and he worked diligently until I got the car I wanted. I never felt a moment of pressure. Mike asked me what I wanted and he made sure that I left the dealership happy. Mike was very patient with me and he answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns as well. Not once did I feel like "just another customer," and Mike made sure of that. I'm honored to have had Mike Cassidy as my salesperson, he made purchasing a car like a walking in the park. I purchased a used van with the help of Mike Cassidy. The experience was most pleasant. Mike truly knows how to make someone feel at ease. At no time did I feel pressured in any way. Any questions I had, Mike new the answer. Mike made sure he was always accommodating to my schedule. The few things that I requested fixed regarding the van were taken care of right away. He even offered to help me sell my older car by writing the ad for Craigs list. I have never had a more enjoyable experience purchasing a car. I would and have recommended Mike to friends and family.

We have owned approximately 30 cars (we are 67 and 71) and this was the most positive experience we have had. Our new 2015 Forester is gorgeous, gets great mileage, handles very well and is spacious. Incredible music system, comfortable, and excellent vision. Bought it to replace a 2008 Forester with 155,000 miles on it. Mike Cassidy was knowledgeable, easy to deal with and went way beyond our expectations,. including driving 50 miles to our home to help with the Blue Tooth and other questions we had. He is honest and forthright. Wants his customers to be happy with their purchase. This is the place to go for a car.

I HATE SHOPPING FOR A NEW CAR! That's part of the reason I drive my cars for 10 years or more. My brother recommended Dover VW to me, so I drove 40+ miles out of my way ( I live in Newark, DE ) to give them a try. Man oh man am I glad I did. I walked in, asked for the sales manager (Rick), told him my brother convinced me to give them a try, & he introduced me to salesman Mike Cassidy ( a truly good guy ) & a little over 3 hours later I drove off the lot in one of the cars they had listed as a dealer's special on their website. Mike took me out on 3 test drives & would have been more than happy to take me out in as many cars as it took, but when I took the 2013 Passat out on the 3rd test drive, I was sold. The car was listed at a very fair price, they gave me a generous trade in allowance for my 2001 Passat ( 139,000 miles ) and walked me through the process professionally & courteously, answering every question patiently & fully. This was hands down the best car-buying experience I have ever had. The dealership has recently changed ownership & these guys are making a serious effort to become the kind of dealership that customers recommend to their friends & family. I didn't think there was such a thing as a "No Haggle" car buying experience, but these guys proved me wrong. In my opinion, these guys will go above and beyond to earn their customer's trust.

For all intensive purposes I went to Volkwagen of Dover because they actually have a selection of vehicles for all tastes. Being a young man out of college for a year and always driving an economy car, I was in the market for something a little sporty. Dover Volkswagen Subaru had the vehicles that are actually sporty. If you see a cool new VW or Subaru in a magazine like Car and Driver you want to take a look at, guess what? They actually have it! The VW GLI, IN STOCK.. the WRX IN STOCK, GTI IN STOCK. I went to plenty other VW dealerships in the Wilminton area and they didn't have anything sporty. I understand that not everyone has my taste, but this dealer has something for everyone.What truely sold me on this place was the Salesman Mike Cassidy. For once I had met and had the pleasure to do business with an actual car nut. Not only was he a wealth of accurate information, but he made the car buying process a hoot! He knew and understood vehicles and wasn't going to tell you anything that was not hard fact. I have been to many dealerships (I take forever to make large purchases) and it was a relief to find someone who knew what they were talking about. Mike lives and breaths his passion in automobiles and if you have never bought a vehicle from someone who conducts business this way, you are in for a serious treat.

I cant believe the experience I have encountered working with Winner Volkswagon and especially our sales man Mike Cassidy. No pressure at all from Mike Cassidy our sales man he was very polite, friendly and professional. It's very hard to find a dealer and sales man who treated me and my family like Mike did. The sales man Mike found my family and I a new amazing car and I couldn't be happier. We were looking for a bigger vehicle for the family and found a van that is perfect for us to go on trips and drive around in a beautiful, clean and great running vehicle that I will keep and share with my family for many years to come! I just want to thank Winner volkswagon and Mike for the best experience buying a new car which isn't always a great time but Winner and Mike really stood out from the rest and I will be doing all future business with them because I have found a dealer and sales man who actually care about me and my familys needs and found the car of our dreams.
