The superb 300 Horsepower 4.2 V8 mated to a 6 speed ZF transmission features here which gives more power and better MPG than the previous, also superb 4.0 V8. (27.2 MPG is what I received in a similar car over an 1100 mile trip recently. I wasn't feathering the throttle pedal either. I was getting the job done! That, folks is quite exceptional for a 4.2 V8).The 4.2 Liter XK8 is the one to own. An absolute pleasure.This car has been inspected and found to be mechanically and electrically soundThis car is in very nice condition throughout. The paintwork is in excellent shape. So nice!!! The engine and transmission are strong and smooth and all electrical components, including the convertible top operate as they should. NO ACCIDENTS have been reported on this car !!!!!This is a NON SMOKER car!!! The interior is lovely.This Jaguar is quick. 6 seconds to 60 quick! Though so Very Smooth, Classy and Very Very Handsome!!!! Platinum Silver 05's are always desirable and will hold their value well. I am having a tough time locating strong examples of these Convertibles right now so don't delay.What else do you get?
