The Elantra Sport offers a standard 2.0-liter GDI engine producing 173 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 154 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,700 rpm. The Hyundai Elantra can be equipped with a six-speed manual or automatic transaxle with manual control. This transmission mated to the Nu engine helps Elantra deliver improved fuel efficiency.
