''The Mercedes-Benz EQE pretty much does everything the E-Class does, just with electric power. It's comfortable, quiet and packed full of features. It also has a roomy cargo area and a long range on a full charge,'' Edmunds writes. The EQE Sedan was all-new for 2023, and there are few changes for 2024. Perhaps most impactful is the addition of a heat pump as standard equipment, which should improve driving range, especially in cold weather. Mercedes also tweaked the battery pack and improved the feel of the regenerative braking system. Mercedes claims the 90.6-kWh battery pack can be charged from 10% to 100% in 9.5 hours using a 240-volt Level 2 charger. When the EQE is connected to a DC fast charger, Mercedes says you can go from a 10% to an 80% charge in just over 30 minutes. With its odometer now reading EIGHTEEN, it is STILL COVERED under the balance of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty warranties for four years or 50,000 miles (whichever occurs first)! The EQE 350+ and EQE 350 4MATIC comes well equipped with: 170-kW DC fast charging Panoramic sunroof Dual-zone climate control with pre-conditioning Synthetic leather upholstery (MB-Tex) Heated, power-adjustable front seats Digital instrument display 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system Navigation system Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration (both with wireless connectivity) Wireless phone charging 15-speaker Burmester sound system The following driver assist features are also standard: Forward collision warning with automatic braking (warns you of an impending collision and applies the brakes in certain scenarios) Lane departure mitigation (warns you of a lane departure when a turn signal isn't used and can automatically steer to maintain lane position) Blind-spot warning with rear cross-traffic warning (alerts you if a vehicle is in your blind spot during a lane change or while in reverse) Front cross-traffic alert (warns you if a vehicle is about to cross your path and cause a collision) Surround-view camera system (gives you a top-down view of the EQE and its surroundings in tight parking situations) The all-wheel-drive EQE 350 4MATIC Sedan is rated at 86 MPGe for city driving and 96 MPGe for highway driving. The powertrain offers 288 horsepower, and torque increases to 564 pound-feet. The EQE 350 4MATIC that Edmunds tested blew past its EPA-estimated range of 260 miles to cover 302 miles on the Edmunds EV Range Test. It was also impressively efficient.
