The only reason I gave 1 star is because no star is not an option. Most people walk away and give bad reviews because you can't come together on terms, car salesmen are liars etc. etc. My husband and I purchase a new truck every 2 years from Conway Ford and on 11/2/16 we purchased a new F-150 Lariat. We left it at the dealership overnight so a bed liner could be installed the next day. We called the next afternoon, after not hearing from the dealership that morning, and we were informed that the truck we had purchased the night before had been sold again to someone else on 11/3/16! I have the bill of sale and all the paperwork you get when you make a purchase in hand, I just don't have a clue who has my truck.The customer service we received has been the worst I have ever encountered. We were made to feel like we had done something wrong. No one called us to inform us of the mistake. We had to make the initial call to them. Now we are left wondering about all the legalities involved. I am giving a strong warning to anyone looking to purchase from them. DON'T!

My daughter was looking for a car and she found a Pontiac g6 that she fell in love with at Conway ford. We went to look at it and bought it. She started having problems with the car and come to find out that the dealership did not have the means to fix the car. So if we wanted to use the warranty we purchased with the car we would have to drive an hour to get the car fixed and then I noticed I had 9 hard hit on my credit report and my score went from a 807 to770 not at all happy with Conway ford.

I visited Conway Ford last Saturday for an oil change on my 2014 Explorer [mu 3rd one in a row]. As I was waiting I decided to check in on a new car opportunity. Ran in to Rich. What a great guy. We had a 2013 Mazda6. Conway was able to give me a trade in value and I ended pulling the trigger and purchased a 2017 Fusion. What a great experience at the dealership as well as a great vehicle. I am a loyal FORD owner and hope they continue construct vehicles they way they are.

I bought a 2014 from Conway Ford eight months ago. That was great experience. Due to back problems I needed to trade the mustang and returned to Conway Ford. I had another excellent experience. They gave me top dollar for my trade, they answered all of my questions and it was a seamless transaction. After several major service events, it became obvious that short term profit is more important to this dealership that customer loyalty and retention. On every visit, I was subjected to the "nickel and dime" treatment where the service department attempted to twist the arm for more repairs. Verification visits to local auto repair facilities proved the repairs were not necessary.

I take my car in to Conway Ford for a "safety checkup" before I take a car trip and I know they will tell me if it is time for any service based upon current mileage, which I greatly appreciate. I recently had a safety check and had service done during which time they found the car needed a bit of work covered by the warranty. I was so please that this was handled for me as I might have been on the road with car trouble had I not gone in. I also had my car washed and vacuumed. They didn't charge me for washing the car nor did they charge me for the safety check (tires, fluids, etc.). Mitch at the Conway Ford Service Department is so helpful and friendly as are the rest of the staff. I have always been so happy with my dealings with the Conway Ford Service Department and am a loyal customer.

In June 2012 I purchased a Ford Fusion from Conway Ford and I love this vehicle. My experience was positive and I have been taking the car for service to the Conway Ford Service Department, I have been extremely pleased with my experiences with the Conway Ford Service Department and Mitch, who works there, is especially helpful as are the other personnel. They work with me, keep me and recognize me when I come in. They are friendly and helpful. While waiting for my work to be completed one day I met a man who had purchased his Ford elsewhere but drove the extra distance to Conway because he discovered that the Conway Ford Service Department was excellent and he liked the staff there so much. The service department has done some little extras for me from time to time when I've needed something like a safety check prior to a trip just to ease my mind before setting out or detailing my car prior a visit from my son so that my car would be looking it's best. My most recent visit was for an oil change and safety check.

I have had my 2014 Chev. serviced at this dealership several times. A few days ago I ran over something and had a problem with one of my tires. Without an appointment I rushed to the dealership. Randall met me with a big smile and cheerful hello, (which made my day after this problem) and took me in for the repair immediately even with the shop full . My wait time was less than 30 minutes for the job to be completed. Randall and his shop techs are the best and really know what they are doing. I never have to come back with a shop comeback because the job was not completed or done correctly. Friendly staff, great service and very easy to deal with. I recommend this shop to everyone.

My email to the General Mngr Mr. Barry Norman Mr. Barry Norman, I forgot to send this email earlier. On Monday August 3, I had my 2005 Ford Excursion Diesel towed to Conway ford for engine repair. Mitch Carpenter was my assigned representative. Mitch told me he would have my truck looked at and get back to me ASAP. On Tuesday afternoon August 4th Mitch called me and told me that the EGR cooler and oil cooler needed to be replaced and that it was a major repair job that requires a lot of hours to complete. I explained to Mitch that my family and I were from Philadelphia Pa and were here on vacation camping at a campground until Friday August 7th. To make a bad situation worse, I had my travel trailer with us that I towed down with us. Mitch told me there were a few customers in front of me and he would see what he could do to expedite my repair job. On Wednesday morning August 5th, Mitch called to tell me he was able to put my repair job a head of the others because of my unique situation and it should be ready by Friday August 7th. It was cutting it close, but I was happy. Then on Thursday afternoon August 6th I got a call from Mitch telling me he had some guys put in some OT to make sure my truck got done in time! I came over shortly after the phone call and picked up my truck. I am writing this to show my appreciation to Mitch and everyone else who took care of me and enabled me to get home WITH my travel trailer and family. Purchased my new Ford 150 at Valdese , NC and had to stop and get my phone reprogrammed back into the Bluetooth equipped radio at Conway Ford Inc. in Conway ,SC. Was sent straight to the service department we met Carlon Bessant the service advisor. He was with a customer and just as soon as he finished with him, he a immediately helped us.and reprogrammed our Bluetooth with our phone numbers back in it. Carlon was very knowledgeable and he also was customer friendly and made us feel at home even though we did not buy or truck there.

I recently leased a 2015 Ford Fusion from Conway Ford. This is my 2nd Fusion and I believe 9th or 10th car we have purchased from this dealer. Not being a car person, the make and model of the car matters very little to me. The reason we continue to return to Conway Ford is because of the peoplethat work there.Over the last 20 or so years Conway Ford has made buying a car simple and painless. Our salesman over the years has been Bob Schenone. Bob goes out of his way to make sure we get great service and great deals. Bob has taken care of many of our friends and family. This review, although not fully directed at this dealership, I am posting to warn consumers of the potential out come from dealing with these dealerships owned by the same people. I would hate for someone else to buy from a dealership but not be able to get service from a local one. Let me tell you about my Mike Reichenbach and Conway Ford experience, I purchased a 2003 F250 from this dealership with what was claimed to be 103,000 miles. (Buyers order, Sales paperwork, and all finance paperwork stated this mileage.) After everything was done and the sale was finalized I had them do any needed repairs to the truck ($1600). I got the truck back from their shop after it took them almost 2 weeks to do 10 hrs worth of work and proceeded to travel to see my grand-daughters birth. I made it just outside of the South Carolina line when the truck began pouring oil out from underneath the hood. Luckily there was a Ford dealership at the exit I took. (Mike Murphy Ford, Highly recommended!!!) Their techs examined the truck and found that the oil pressure switch had been damaged during the work I had done. We had to spend the night in order for them to get the part in. Needless to say me and my wife missed the birth due to this. After leaving Mike Murphy Ford we continued our trip without further incidents. Upon arriving back in Florence I ordered a new dash cluster since the odometer was blacked out when I received the truck. I took the new cluster in to Mike Reichenbach Ford because it had to be programmed to my truck. When the technician replaced my gauge cluster he approached me in the waiting room and asked me how many miles did I state were on the truck. I told him that all the paperwork I had said 103,000 and he informed me that there were actually 267,000 miles on it. I approached John Burke, Sales Manager, with the situation and asked what they were going to do about it. They offered to buy the truck back for what I had paid for it but I had already invested a lot more than that in it. They paid off the extended warranty that I had purchased with the truck because of course that was void now due the fraud of it having different mileage than what was told to me. This dealership never once offered me any compensation for the loss of value that I now suffer due to their business practices. Mike Reichenbach called me and offer to fix a still existing water leak , that I had since their original service, and a free oil change. I reluctantly took the truck back to their shop and figured maybe this time would be better. WRONG. I had my truck returned to me with the same water leak and now the oil pressure gauge dropped to no pressure at idle. Assuming that they had damaged another sensor I replaced it but to no avail. A few weeks later, you guessed it, truck wont start. When Mike Reichenbach hears about the problem, he asked that the truck not come back to his dealership. I of course had NO problem with that. I had my truck towed to Conway Ford. Conway Ford examined the truck and diagnosed that it needed a high pressure oil pump.($2700). After that news I told them that I would get in touch with them the next day on whether to proceed or not. An hour later my wife gets a call from the service adviser. He informs her that they have gotten a phone call from above and told not to work on my truck. Reason not given. Mike Reichenbach then tells my wife that he will pay to tow my truck anywhere except one of the dealerships that he is affiliated with. Mike Reichenbach was more worried about Conway Ford finding out the issues with my mileage and the lack of quality work performed in his shop, than me being able to get my Ford truck, bought from his Ford dealership, repaired at another Ford shop where I could have received the Ford 2 year warranty on parts and labor. I ended up taking my truck to a recommended garage owned by a mechanic that has been working on International motors for over 20 years. The mechanic examines my truck and finds that when the free oil change was done to my truck Mike Reichenbachs technician had broken the plunger that retains the oil in the filter when you shut off the truck. Not only did he break the piece and drop in into my motor, he also left the remains of the piece in the canister. When the technician who did the oil change was asked, he admitted to breaking it and leaving it in the motor. He stated that he figured that the oil pump screen would catch it. Upon removing the oil pressure regulator my new mechanic found some of the plastic pieces stuck in the seat for the regulator. This caused the no pressure at idle along with leaving me with a free flowing oil pressure system that stops diesel trucks from running. He then removed the IPR valve only to find more plastic collected all over the screen for it. After these things were replaced and cleaned I had him go over the whole motor. He found the water leak, it was a clamp that had never been tightened up when Mike Reichenbachs dealership did the original work along with other problems that were supposed to have been repaired. Mike Reichenbach Ford also decided to send their service manger along with one of their "techs" down to question my new mechanic about what was wrong with my truck. Now remember that they refused to work on it, refused to have any of TJ Johnson's dealerships work on it, but had the nerve to drive to my mechanics shop and try to get involved in his repairs. After 6 months of headaches after headache and multiple thousands of dollars spent to fix problems caused by trusting Mike Reichenbach Ford I ask that anyone who ever evens considers doing business with Mike Reichenbach Ford or his associates PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, DO YOUR SELF A FAVOR AND RUN ELSEWHERE.

The experience was great. I had stopped over to check out a truck that was in inventory on Saturday, but the vehicle was taken to another lot. Damian Mathews called me back on the morning of February 17 setting the appointment for 11:30. When I arrived the vehicle was standing tall all nice and clean with shiny tires. My experience with Richard Avant and Larry Nobles was exceptional from the time I contacted Mr. Avant by e-mail. By far, this was the friendliest dealership I visited in 3 days. Their follow up with me was great and we settled on a price. Paperwork was handled without any problems and was very quick. Car was ready to pick-up for me at my convenient time. Mr. Avant took time to sit with me in the car and explain all of the new gadgets I would be dealing with to operate the car properly. I highly recommend anyone to visit with Conway Ford before making any decisions about buying a new car!

I was looking for a new hybrid vehicle. I have driven a Honda Civic hybrid for the past 6 years. Although I was satisified with the Civic, I wanted something more sporty looking. I looked online for all of the available hybrids and decided to look at the C-Max. I contacted three dealers via the internet and went to the first two and was not completely satisified with the deals that were offered. Richard Avant, the Internet Sales Manager at Conway Ford contacted via e-mail and telephone. My wife and I went to look at the C-Max there and then sat with Richard to see what kind of deal we could get. We were very happy with the offer made by Richard and we traded in my Civic and purchased the C-Max. I have purchased many new cars in the past 40 years and this was by far the best experience I have had in those past years. Richard was a true professional and Conway Ford should be commended for having an employee of this caliber. Everyone I dealt with there treated us in a very friendly manner as though we were past customers, which we were not.I ordered some all weather mats, mud flaps and bumper protector for the new vehicle. I arranged a date in which to drop the car off to have the mud flaps and bumper protector installed. Both the parts and service employees were great. The installation went well.If and when I am looking for another vehicle, I will certainly check out Conway Ford first and hope Richard is still there.

Finance department messed up my title work and I had to spend 3 days at the DMV and the sales man blamed me. The worst. I would pay extra for a car other to deal with these clowns.

I went to Conway Ford to get a new mustang. Which they had a couple in the lot. I parked my car and got out to look at a red one when Greg the salesman came up. He ask if I wanted to test drive it and I told him no because it was starting to rain and I would wait. Explained my problem to him about my other mustang being totaled. I told him I was waiting on Allstate to settle up with me in about a week. He kept right on and said let me get the keys and we will take it out. So we did. I drove about two blocks down the road and turned around and went back. When I parked the car, he started to explain the radio. He then said do you want me to work up some numbers for you? So I told him he could give me a price and what he though the payments would be. We got out of the car and then he started to talk about the cars rear end as being sexy. I walked on in. He sat at his desk and started to ask me questions and said sign here, its just to give you a quote on the car. I signed and he said he would be right back. Well he came back after ten minutes went by and said ok my boss printed this up for you. All you have to do is sign on the dottie line here while pushing the paper under my nose along with the pen to sign with and you can walk out of here to night with the car. No money down and the payments will be 410. I told him no that was to much. He then got upset and sat back in his chair and said I must be missing something here. I really didn't like that at all. He kept pushing the paper and I kept saying no. I then told him I had to go. He said well come in the back and meet my boss and let him hug your neck before you leave. I got up and he got up and he went one way and I went the other way OUT THE DOOR... I then got a phone call from Greg 20 minutes later and he said I though you were going to stick around for a bit. I told him no I had to go. He then stated are you going to call me tomorrow. I said sure after Allstate calls me. Knowing I was not going to call this man back. I went some where else and got a mustang just like the one I drove. Well now a couple of days later I found out that they ran my credit six times which takes a point off of your credit score each time. I would never send anyone to Conway Ford or will I ever go back there. He is lucky if he does get sued for sexual harassment...

Bob Schenone worked after the dealership was closed to make sure we got the paperwork taken care of when we bought our vehicle. The Finance Office got us the best finance rate possible. We love our new vehicle. This is the second vehicle we have bought this year from Conway Ford. We have bought several vehicles from Conway Ford over the past 25 years and have always received great service!

The wife saw this pretty metal flake, blue escape. We took it for a ride and wondered why the car rode so "hard". We checked the air in the tires found 37.5lbs in each tire, door says tire pressure is 30lbs. Changed it to 30 lbs in all four tires and the car rode soft smooth and quiet... She liked all the high tech stuff tell the car to call someone and no hands phone dials for you ask the car to take you somewhere and it gives you directions from some "Russian" Satellite LOL She loved how the back seats lay flat and the sporty mags look sharp. No sales pressure we did our homework befor we negotied the price and got a good deal

I recently visited Conway Ford to have the transmission rebuilt in my wife's van. In the process of rebuilding it they managed to tear the exhaust manifold to pieces. They stripped the studs, stripped the nuts, didn't seat the collar properly and now I have an exhaust leak.They then proceeded to tell me that this wasn't their fault and that this would have happened to anyone who rebuilt this transmission. I said well that's why I'm here at the dealership, I was relying on your expertise to NOT tear this thing to hell and back doing such delicate work.THEN they wanted $500 to install a new manifold, I can order the manifold right now from Autozone for $60....I talked to the service rep, the service manager, and finally the general manager. They all gave me the same line of BS, not our fault, bolts strip sometimes, it would have happened to anybody, blah blah.I will never, ever give Ford one shred of business again in my life.

They took advantage of me on price and quality. i bought a car knowing the damage and another dealer told me that they received the insurance and was to pass it along to the buyer and did not do that.

I had just moved down to Conway for school and my check engine light went on in my 2006 Mustang. I took it to be diagnosed and it came up that my egr sensor had a problem. I then took it to Conway Ford to have further testing done and they said that my egr sensor and valve went bad and also that it gunked up my throttle body. I asked what the cheapest possible option was and they quoted me at $450 and that and qouted me the times it would take and around how much maintenance would be. When I went to pick it up they told me that they had to do more to clean the throttle body and they had to bring the price up to $660. I later went on to find out that the hours Ford has it written up to do and the hours they quoted me were completely off and they made me pay way more then what it should have been. Overall I am completely displeased with this service department and will never take my car back there.

We had a ford Windstar that had a few problems. One was that it kept shutting off when it switched into 3rd gear and also there was an electrical problem resulting in a continual draw on the battery and the vehicle having no lights at all. We took the van into the dealership to have it repaired. The parts department told us that they would need to replace the instrument panel "For starters". We asked them if they had found the problem and they told us "No". We asked them why they wanted to replace the instrument panel if they could not fix what was causing the electrical problem. We thought that if the problem was still there and we paid the over 7 hundred dollars to replace the panel the new panel would just short out as well. We kept going back and forth with them and the outcome was that the repair bill would just keep going up with no end in sight until they finally found the problems. Faced with skyrocking and never ending bill, we decided to go ahead and trade the van in for a new Ranger. The salesman we spoke to went back to the parts department and came back to us and told us that the parts guy said the van wasn't even worth $1500.00, but he was willing to give us that in trade. This was a 2001 Windstar with only 86,000 miles on it. We asked the salesman what they would do with the van and he told us that they would sell it at an auction for parts. We went ahead and bought the Ranger and went home. a few days later I walked out of our garage and lo and behold I look down the street and see my Windstar sitting in a neighbor's driveway! I couldn't believe it! I knew there was no way Conway Ford had discovered the problems and fixed them in just a few days. I went and spoke to the neighbor who told me that her sister had been test driving the van and that it kept cutting off on her while she was driving it and also that she had no lights. I was shocked that the van was on the road still in the unrepaired and potentially dangerous condition that had brought us to trade it in. I warned her about the van, telling her that we had owned it and that it was not fixed. Then I went home and looked it up on Conway Ford's website. There sat my van (I compared the VIN numbers and yes it was definately our former Windstar) for sale for over 8 thousand dollars!! I could not believe it! They cheated us out of our trade in, lied about sending it to auction and put it on their lot even though they were fully aware of the problems that Van was having! That would have been a golden cash cow for them- sell the van for a lot of money after only "giving" us $1500.00 for it, then when it had problems the new owners would have brought it back for repairs thus giving Conway Ford even more money. I contacted Ford Company and told them about the problem. Ford Company did not seem to care that we had been taken advantage of, they were only concerned that Conway Ford was selling an uncertified used car. The van finally disappeared from Conway Ford's lot, but no one from either Conway Ford or Ford Company ever got back with us to try and resolve our situation. I guess Ford just has way too much money to worry about losing a customer. In the future we will NEVER, EVER go to Conway Ford for anything, nor would we ever recommend that company to anyone. We are also done with Ford products.

I just purchased a used 2003 Explorer and traded in my '94 Explorer which, by the way, was a great, trouble-free vehicle that just kept going. I loved it! This purchase couldn't have been a better experience. I found my 'new' Explorer on their website and it was exactly as advertised .... which isn't always the case. It was fairly priced and in perfect condition. From my initial phone call to Conway Ford to signing on the dotted line, this was a very pleasant experience. My salesperson, Joe Haiden, was outstanding. He's courteous, friendly, knowledgable, reliable - a real sales pro. I couldn't recommend him more highly. Suffice it to say that based on my experience, you couldn't go wrong purchasing a vehicle here. <br>Kudos to Conway Ford and it's fine staff! Your customer service is outstanding.
