My 2019 LS model doesn't come with fog lights. But I heard that by adding the headlamp switch with the fog light button (OEM $16.95) and reprogramming the computer, I could have fog lights. Can you confirm if this is accurate?

My 2019 Chevy Spark LS lacks fog lights but is equipped with DRL (daytime running lights) and automatic lighting. I wonder why DRL was chosen over fog lights, especially considering that when it's even slightly dark, the headlights turn on. In foggy or low visibility conditions, headlights alone may not be sufficient. However, I have yet to find a suitable location to install aftermarket fog lights.
