The Chrysler 300 is equipped with a single fuel pump, which integrates the fuel filter. Typically, you'll find this pump on the vehicle’s underside, connected to the fuel rail. Accessing it is straightforward, as it’s secured by just a couple of easily removable bolts. Replacement costs generally range from $200 to $800. However, in some instances, the filter and pump are located inside the gas tank. If that’s the situation, you would need to replace the entire gas tank to replace the pump, although you can still replace the filter externally. The cost for this is similar, possibly a few hundred dollars more. If the pump begins to fail, you might experience difficulty accelerating or even find that the car won't start due to insufficient fuel delivery.
