Certainly! You can definitely squeeze a full-size mattress into the back of a Subaru Outback, but to make it happen, you'll have to fold down the back seats. There's a latch in the back that you'll need to pull to lower the seats. Once you do that, the mattress will fit perfectly, but keep in mind that you can only drive with yourself and one passenger. Anything larger than a full-size mattress, like a queen size, won't fit.
