No, the 2018 Kia Sportage does not come with adaptive cruise control, which not only controls speed but also allows the driver to adjust the parameters individually. With automatic braking, drivers can monitor the distance between their vehicle and the one in front. Using cruise control helps maintain a consistent speed, reducing the risk of sudden acceleration and exceeding the speed of other vehicles on the road. Furthermore, using cruise control can save fuel by minimizing unnecessary acceleration and deceleration. If you need to replace the cruise control switch, the average cost is around $160 to $170, with labor estimated at $60 to $70 and the parts costing around $100.

Sorry, but the 2018 Kia Sportage doesn't come with adaptive cruise control. However, the base model LX does have a Technology Package option that includes forward collision warnings and automatic braking to help avoid accidents. While adaptive cruise control allows the driver to set speed and following parameters independently, the automatic braking in the Sportage uses radar to monitor and adjust the distance between your vehicle and the one ahead. If you go for the EX trim, you'll get all the features of the LX with the Technology Package included. The SX Turbo model comes with both packages as standard features.
