The 2018 Mazda CX-9 comes with standard remote start, a feature included in models from 2016 and onwards. Remote start systems consist of two main components: a control module/radio receiver and a remote transmitter. The control module is installed in your car, enabling you to start your vehicle remotely by pressing a button on the remote transmitter. Remote starters are most popular in colder regions, where they are utilized to warm up the engine and activate the heater/defroster, particularly useful during snowy winter months with subfreezing temperatures. Additionally, they can also be used to initiate the air conditioning in extremely hot climates.

Certainly! The 2018 Mazda CX-9 offers the option of remote start, which is not included as a standard feature. However, it can be added as an option on any of the car's four trim levels: Sport, Touring, Grand Touring, and Signature.
