BMW does not provide ventilated front seats for the X1 model. However, if you reside in a colder climate, the BMW X1 comes equipped with optional heated front seats and a heated steering wheel to ensure your comfort. Ventilated seats, also referred to as seat ventilation, are designed with built-in mechanisms that channel air through the seat towards the occupant, enhancing comfort, especially on extended drives. This feature operates through multiple small fans located within the seat cushion and backrest. The advantages of ventilated seats include reducing perspiration and evaporating any moisture between you and the seat. They also help to cool down the seats if the car has been exposed to sunlight and become excessively warm. Furthermore, ventilated seats can be used in conjunction with the heated seats functionality to provide warmth during the winter season.
Ventilated seats are indeed offered in the upper trim options of the BMW X1.
