The Ford Transit's seats can be taken out. On the side of the seat, there is a handle that you can tug on. You'll need another person since you have to pull both handles simultaneously. After doing this, the seat will detach from the floor, where it's typically secured by bolts. You can then shift it forward slightly, but be careful not to force it out. Underneath, there are some wires that you must disconnect, or else you'll damage them. Once the wires are unplugged, you can remove the seat. When reinstalling it, first reconnect the wires, then slide the seat into place while holding the handle to release the locking mechanism. Once positioned correctly, release the handle, and the seat will lock back in place.
