To reset the heater in a Ford Edge, you can press and hold down both the climate control button and the defrost button simultaneously for about 20 seconds. If you're having issues with the climate control system in the car, there could be a few potential causes. If the blend actuator motor is faulty, you won't be able to adjust the temperature or airflow intensity inside the car. A bad fan motor may result in lack of air circulation, even though you may hear noise when the fan is turned on. If none of these solutions work, it's possible that a fuse has blown out. You can locate the fuse box under the hood or to the left of the steering wheel, and fuses are easy to replace. Additionally, a malfunctioning temperature sensor near the fan motor could cause the actuator to behave strangely and provide erratic temperature readings.
