Reactivating the security system on your Acura MDX is a simple process that can be done in just 5 to 8 minutes. To start, step outside your vehicle. Use the keyless remote or key fob to press and hold the panic button. Alternatively, if you don't have the key fob or prefer not to use it, insert your physical key into the driver's side door lock and turn it to unlock. Maintain this position for two seconds, and the security system will then be reset.

I've tried using my regular key and doing the reset a couple of times, which temporarily stops the alarm but it keeps coming back. Now that workaround doesn't seem to be effective, and the alarm keeps going off. I've managed to quiet it down, but I'm looking for other solutions. Does anyone have any ideas?
