When you drive a Honda Accord, you might notice a new light pop up on the dashboard from time to time. While usually it's just a simple thing like low fuel or a reminder for regular maintenance, it could also signal a more significant issue. If you see a code like 61 1, it means there was a drop in voltage while starting your car. These alerts don't disappear by themselves, so you'll have to access the module and clear out all the current trouble codes manually.

I'm having trouble with my '09 Honda Accord at a repair shop because they're getting an error communicating with the module. I've tried using two different scanners, but Autozone couldn't find any SRS issues, only a code 61-1 for ABS indicating low battery voltage. They checked the battery and alternator, and both are fine. I attempted the jump-wire method on ports #4 and #9 on the ODB port, but only the ABS light was flashing and showing the code 61. I found a post that might be helpful, listing all SRS codes including 61-1x indicating an open circuit in the driver seat belt buckle switch on the Honda and Acura forums.
