On the 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee, different tires are used depending on the trim level. The Laredo model features smaller P225/75R16 tires, while the Limited and Overland models come with larger P235/65R17 tires. Both tire options have a recommended operating pressure range of 26 to 36 PSI for the 104SL version and 26 to 42 pounds for the 108XL version. It's best not to exceed 33 PSI in normal driving conditions. The smaller tire fits on 7Jx16 ET56 rims, whereas the larger tire is designed for A7.5Jx17 ET51 rims, measuring 7 and 7.5 inches wide and 16 and 17 inches in diameter, respectively. Both tires have a bolt pattern of 5x128 and a center bore of 71.5mm.
The 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee comes with 17-inch wheels as standard. It uses P235/65R17 tires and the recommended tire pressure is 33 pounds per square inch.
Today was really informative. I just installed winter tires on my 2004 WJ, but I couldn't find any tire pressure information in the car or manual. This was a big help. Thanks a lot from Norway!
