Can you point me toward a diagram that shows where the fuse box is located in a 2017 Tacoma?

To access the fuse box, locate a small seam or crack along the dashboard to the left of the steering wheel. Use a screwdriver or prybar to open it up. Inside, you'll find several fuses. The back of the panel you opened should have a diagram showing the purpose of each fuse. If it's not there, you can refer to the vehicle's owner's manual. Identify the needed fuse and remove it by pulling it out. Check if the thin metal strip connecting the two sections is intact - if broken, the fuse is faulty and should be replaced. If the strip is intact, the fuse is good to be reinserted. Replacement fuses are inexpensive, costing around $10 each.
