Toyota suggests performing maintenance every 10,000 miles when your 2012 Camry is new. This typically means scheduling maintenance once or twice a year for regular drivers, but frequent drivers may need to visit the shop every three to four months. At 10,000 miles, the engine oil and filter should be replaced, tires rotated, brake pads and wiper blades inspected, and the cabin air filter replaced. When the odometer hits 20,000 miles, repeat the 10,000 mile service and also check and adjust fluid levels, and consider using an electronic fuel injection additive. When you reach 30,000 miles, in addition to the earlier maintenance tasks, inspect the exhaust system, transmission, suspension, drive shaft, and steering system. Finally, at 40,000 miles, follow the steps from the 20,000 mile service once again.
