There are two types of radiator supports used in a Ford Fusion. The upper supports are easily removable tabs that are secured with bolts. The lower supports are tabs with small spot welds securing the radiator base. To replace the lower supports, you'll need to use a drill bit to break the spot welds and then replace them with bolts by drilling new holes. If you're installing a radiator of a different size, you might have to remove and weld new mounting tabs onto the body's subframe.

There are no welded spots on any Ford Fusion radiator supports; they are all made of plastic.
