Another option is to lock all the doors from inside the car except the driver's door, including the trunk. Insert the key into the driver's door to lock it, then wait for one minute before manually unlocking. You can also try holding the panic button for 5 seconds, then pressing the lock button twice. Step away from the car about ten feet and wait ten minutes before pressing the unlock button on the key fob twice. This may help reset the anti-theft system.
