Some people at Vehicle History may be claiming otherwise, but there's no specific method to reset the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) sensors on the 2014 Kia Forte. If you see a low pressure light and warning, you'll have to inflate your tires to the correct pressure, then drive for at least five miles at a speed exceeding 15 miles per hour. If you've recently changed a TPMS sensor, you'll need to pair it rather than reset it. This process requires specialized equipment that both you and I don't have access to. To pair the new sensor, you'll have to visit a tire shop or dealership, where they can do it for you, usually for a small fee.
Hey Berneice. I have a 2014 Kia Forte and it doesn't have a reset button. What should I do? You can reach me at tinmessenger@gmail.com. Thanks.
To recalibrate the tire pressure monitor system in your 2014 Kia Forte car, start by turning the ignition key to the "on" position and pressing the tpms button, typically found under the dashboard, until the tpms light flashes multiple times. Then, start your car and allow it to idle for at least 20 minutes to complete the reset process for the tpms system.
