To reset the TPMS on a 2009 Ford Fusion, start by adjusting each tire to the recommended tire pressure specified on the door jamb sticker: 34 psi for the front and rear P205/60R19 tires on the S and SE models, and 33 psi for all tires on the SEL model with P225/50R17 tires. After inflating the tires, drive for about 15-20 minutes for the sensors to recalibrate. If a sensor or tire is replaced, use a TPMS reset tool by first turning on the ignition without starting the engine. Then, press the hazard button 6 times within 10 seconds. You will hear a confirmation horn sound if done correctly. Place the TPMS tool near each tire sidewall starting with the front driver side, then the front passenger, rear passenger, and finally the rear driver side tires, activating each time. The horn will sound again to confirm a successful reset.

To reset the tire pressure monitor (TPMS) in your 2009 Ford Fusion as an American, first, turn the ignition key to the "on" position. Then, find the TPMS button, which is typically located under the dashboard, and press it until the TPMS light blinks several times. From there, start your car and allow it to run for at least 20 minutes. By following these steps, your TPMS system should be successfully reset.
