I own a 2022 plug-in hybrid Santa Fe and it got stuck two times this winter - once in a muddy flat field and once in just 2 inches of snow. The problem was that the rear wheels wouldn't kick in, so the front wheels just kept spinning without getting any traction. I'm planning to bring it to the dealership, and if they can't figure out how to fix this issue, I'll probably sell it back to them. It's pretty much useless for driving in winter conditions.

The indicator light for the all-wheel drive system not working was flashing on the dashboard during the test, and it was identified as a faulty wheel bearing on the driver's side. After changing both the wheel bearing and sensor on that wheel, the issue persists with no signs of knocking or other noises.
