The dimensions of the cargo area in Ford Transit vary depending on the body style and roof height. For Regular Body models with a low roof, the cargo volume is 246.7 cubic feet, while models with a medium roof have a cargo volume of 315.2 cubic feet. In Long Body models, the cargo volume is 277.7 cubic feet with a low roof, 357.1 cubic feet with a medium roof, and 404.3 cubic feet with a high roof. Extended Length models only come with a high roof and offer a cargo volume of 487.3 cubic feet. These volumes are based on having the front passenger seat in place but can be increased if removed. Removing the front passenger seat adds an additional 34.2 cubic feet for low roof vans, 43.5 cubic feet for medium roofs, and 49.1 cubic feet for high roofs.
