The Alfa Romeo Stelvio faces electrical issues such as loose battery connections and blown fuses that may render it inoperative. The battery typically requires replacement every 50,000 to 60,000 miles, which can be costly. To ensure your car stays operational, you'll need to invest in addressing these battery-related concerns that may arise over the vehicle's lifespan, like leaks, depletion, and rapid draining. Damaged battery cases must also be replaced.

I own a 2018 Alfa Stelvio that I purchased brand new in September 2020 in Australia. Recently, it completely stopped working and refused to start, leading to three drained batteries. Even when it did manage to start partially, the dashboard lit up like a Christmas tree with warning lights flashing. It got stuck in "park," preventing us from shifting it to "neutral" for transport to the dealership. After about 8 hours and the help of multiple mechanics, we were able to jump-start it with a truck battery to get it onto the tow truck. This experience has made me doubt whether I can trust the car again. Surprisingly, my 1979 MGB now seems more reliable to me.

If your Alfa Romeo is experiencing electrical problems, it could be due to various factors. Faulty wiring can disrupt power flow, and a malfunctioning battery or alternator may result in a lack of power. Additionally, a blown fuse could also be the culprit. These issues can cause certain parts to stop working properly or not operate as intended.
