The 2011 Dodge Ram may have issues starting or stalling while driving if the wireless ignition module needs to be replaced. Signs that the WIN is failing include having to wiggle the key in the ignition to start the vehicle. Some owners have successfully replaced the module by accessing it under the dashboard and removing it from the ignition. A mechanic can test the module by inserting a key and turning it to activate warning lights - a faulty module will only turn on the odometer and interior lights. Before replacing a faulty WIN, make sure to disconnect the positive battery cable. The cost of professional replacement typically ranges from $300 to $500 for parts and labor.

I had difficulty with my key fob, having to wiggle it around before it would make contact. I was told a new key would cost around $700. However, I decided to disassemble the dash and the box where the key goes, and opened it up. After spraying inside with brake cleaner and a shot of WD-40, it has been working perfectly since I did that.
