In 2007, the Chevy TrailBlazer SS can run into trouble like a dead battery or slipping transmission. It's important to change the transmission fluid every 30,000 to 60,000 miles to avoid issues like strange noises coming from the transmission, which could be unpleasant to the ear. A worn-out torque converter can lead to headaches as the transmission is a crucial part of the vehicle that may encounter problems over time. Issues like hard shifts, shudders, jerking, gears getting stuck, or transmission slipping could arise, causing acceleration problems. It's crucial to address any transmission fluid leaks promptly to prevent further issues.

Requires the use of a quart of oil every 4000 miles...experienced one broken valve spring, a major failure of the right side drive axle and drive unit connected to the oil pan and the shaft that goes through the oil pan to the differential....the drive unit cannot be purchased as a complete unit, individual pieces must be bought and assembled...luckily, my husband is a skilled technician and he installed a grease fitting because he believes the lack of grease contributed to the failure...now, during vehicle maintenance, he applies a few shots of high-quality Schaefers Moly grease...the good stuff...approaching nearly 200,000 miles now...It is a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer SS, although it has poor gas mileage, it has always been like that...completely stock, regularly serviced, and dearly cared for...
