In 2015, Honda Civic push-button start issues can arise due to various reasons like a weak battery, malfunctioning key transponder, or a faulty ignition control module. It is recommended to first address the battery in the key fob, which may require a CR2032 replacement. Additionally, checking the wiring for the ignition system and the wiring harness is a good idea. The cost of replacing an ignition control module can vary from $30 to $50, depending on whether it's an aftermarket or OEM part. This problem is known to affect Honda Accord and Civic models, although Honda has not officially addressed it.

The push button start feature in the 2015 Honda Civic often experiences a common problem due to a faulty ignition control module.

My car often has difficulty starting, making a close but unsuccessful attempt about a third of the time I turn the key. Sometimes it struggles for a full 10 seconds before giving up, right when it seems like it's about to start. Following the instructions in the manual, I wait a bit before trying again to avoid damaging the car. I find it annoying how the shaking seats visibly affect my legs as I crank the engine. Last week, I sat in the back with my best friend while my boyfriend and his friend sat in the front. I noticed that the backseats shake much more than the front seats do. I wonder why this happens, considering I am closer to the engine in the front of the car.

All incorrect answers. The truth is that Honda does not have a solution at all. I believe it would be more cost-effective for Honda to give technical guidance to all impacted owners on how to adjust their ignition circuit themselves, effectively bypassing the problematic push-start button failure.

I own a 2015 Honda Civic EX and I'm having some issues starting it. When I push the start button, it tries to turn over but doesn't. I'm unsure if it's due to faulty wires or a bad switch. The fuse box has been causing some trouble too, so I'm not sure. Can you please assist me with this problem?

Ask Honda to provide a new push start button for free, including installation. Anything else would be unacceptable.
